Monday, Parshas Lech Lecha — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in the Heichal HaMesivta, 'Divrei Yoel' branch.
During the Torah reading the Rebbe was called up for Shlishi, and after davening he learned the daily Tehillim shiur, on chapter 14, verse 2.
Afterwards, all the talmidei hayeshiva went over to take leave of the Rebbe shlit"a for the new zman, and the Rebbe distributed written notes to the bochurim who presented themselves for examination on the studies of the end of the summer zman, IY"H.

After davening, the Rebbe shlit"a went over to the Beis Medrash Maharsha of our holy kehilla in the Rose Garden neighborhood, where a cornerstone-pouring ceremony was held for the new mikvah that is being built, b'ezras Hashem, for the beis medrash. Also present were HaGaon HaGadol, the Av Beis Din shlit"a, the Chaver Beis Din HaGaon Rabbi shlit"a, Rav of the Beis Medrash Avnei Tzedek shlit"a, chairman of the Mikvah Affairs Committee of the Beis Horaah of Kiryas Joel, HaGaon Rabbi R' Aryeh Asher Indig shlit"a, a moreh tzedek of the beis medrash. The Rebbe poured the foundations and honored all the rabbonim shlit"a and the benefactors and askanim of the beis medrash to pour as well. Afterwards a lechayim gathering was held, niggunim were sung in honor of the occasion, and a fine conversation developed about mikvah matters with the holy Rebbe, zy"a. The Rebbe drank a lechayim, bestowed his holy blessings, and distributed shirayim to the young men who daven in the beis medrash, who took upon themselves generous sums for the mikvah.

During the afternoon hours, State Comptroller Thomas DiNapoli, who is currently running for re-election, came for a visit to the Rebbe's holy home. The leadership of Kiryas Joel was also present, and the Rebbe bestowed his holy blessings.

In the afternoon the Rebbe went up to the Heichal HaYeshiva, Birkas Moshe branch, where the Rebbe learned with a chavrusa from among the talmidei hayeshiva in his private room, and at 6:00 the Rebbe davened Mincha in the yeshiva.

In the evening the Rebbe shlit"a officiated at kiddushin at the chuppah of the following mechutanim.

Entry times to the Rebbe's holy room were from approximately 8:15 until 11:45 at night, at the Rebbe's holy home on Ihel Ct.

The Rebbe davened Maariv at around 9:50 at his holy home, and then continued receiving the public.

Sunday, Parshas Lech Lecha — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in the Heichal HaMesivta, Kedushas Yoel branch.
After davening, the Rebbe recited the daily Tehillim shiur, on chapter 14, verse 2, where the Rebbe spoke at length about the severity of the prohibition of participating in the impure elections taking place this Tuesday in Eretz Yisroel.

Afterwards, all the talmidim of the yeshiva went over to greet the Rebbe shlit"a for the new zman.

During the morning hours, the Rebbe visited the mehudar bakery of our holy kehilla, where last week they began the massive production of mehudar matzos for the upcoming Yom Tov of Pesach, may it come to us for good.

The Rebbe looked around all the departments of the bakery and heard a report from the bakery's manager, R' Binyon Eli Zaldan, about the new hiddurim and improvements introduced this year.
Afterwards, the Rebbe looked over the new area that is being added on and will be renovated, IY"H, in the coming weeks, and heard a report from HaRav R' Dovid Eckstein of Eretz Yisroel about the further plans to expand the borders of kedusha.

In the afternoon, the Rebbe went up to the yeshiva, Divrei Yoel branch, where the Rebbe learned with a chavrusa from among the talmidim of the yeshiva in his private room.
Around 6:00, the Rebbe davened Mincha in the yeshiva.

In the evening, the Rebbe officiated at the kiddushin at the chuppah of the mechutanim HaRav R' Moshe Yuda Eckstein shlit"a and R' Yoel Spielman in the halls of Kinor Dovid.
And at the chuppah of the mechutanim R' Moshe Yuda Goldberger and R' Yitzchok Stauber in the halls of Beis Rochel Paradise.

The times for entering to greet the Rebbe were from 8:00 until 11:30 at night.

During the visiting hours, the Spinka Beis Yitzchak Rebbe shlit"a came for a visit.
A pleasant conversation ensued, in which they discussed various minhagim of the month of Tishrei.
The Rebbe honored him with a lechayim, warmly wished him well, and accompanied him out to the street.
The Rebbe davened Maariv around 11:30 in his holy home on Ihel Street.

Shabbos Kodesh Parshas Noach, Shabbos of the Aliyah of the Rebbe's grandson, the chassan HaRav Yechezkel Shraga Meisels, son of the Rebbe's son-in-law HaGaon Rabbi, Rav of the Yishmach Moshe beis medrash shlit"a, 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a.

On Erev Shabbos afternoon before candle lighting, the Rebbe put the shtreimel on his grandson, the chassan HaRav Yechezkel Shraga Meisels shlit"a.
The Rebbe likewise put the shtreimel on the chassan,
the bochur Moshe Amram Yoel Liebermann.

The Rebbe shlit"a left his holy residence with the chassan and the shushbinim on the way to the beis medrash, and they were accompanied with song and music. At around 6:25 the Rebbe shlit"a entered the great beis medrash, wrapped in his tallis, and approached the amud for Mincha. Davening ended at around 8:00. The appeal for the mosdos Tiferes Yaakov in the holy city of Eretz Yisroel took place, the crowd went over to wish a good Shabbos, and the Rebbe shlit"a went into his private room.

A short time after davening, the Rebbe shlit"a entered the Shabbos table in the Heichal HaShulchanos together with the hundreds of talmidim of the mesivta and began, in his holy manner, "Shalom Aleichem" with emotion and sweetness.

Eishes Chayil: the Rebbe's grandson, the bochur Meir Eliezer, son of HaGaon Rabbi, Rav of the Berach Moshe beis medrash shlit"a. Raising the cup for Kiddush: R' Hershel Unsdorfer shlit"a (Boro Park).

Before the fish, the Rebbe shlit"a said Torah on the verse "Eileh toldos Noach" and explained that through Shabbos Kodesh one merits teshuva. In Shabbos there are two parts: one is for the body, through the Shabbos seudos, and the other is for the soul, through the Shabbos zemiros, which means keeping Shabbos properly and completely.

The Rebbe shlit"a said Torah on the verse "Eileh toldos Noach" and explained it in a derush style regarding the sugya of "asei docheh lo saaseh."

Stories and anecdotes: This week the Rebbe shlit"a related about the holy Rabbi Eliezer'l of Dzikov zt"l, whose yahrzeit was on Friday, 3 Cheshvan.

Kah Ribon Olam: HaGaon Rabbi Anshel Shaer shlit"a, Av Beis Din of Klassan. Joyous melodies were sung in honor of the simcha in the Rebbe's family, the new chassanim passed through to take fruit, and a Sholom Zochor took place by the bochur Moshe Aryeh Friedman.

Az Beyom HaShevii: HaRav Moshe Rokeach shlit"a (Boro Park). The seudah ended at around 11:45.

And on the holy day of Shabbos

On Shabbos Kodesh morning the Rebbe shlit"a entered the great beis medrash for Shacharis at around 9:40. Pesukei D'Zimra: HaGaon Rabbi Anshel Shaer shlit"a, Av Beis Din of Klassan. The Rebbe shlit"a approached the amud for Shacharis, and sent for the chazaras hashatz the Rebbe's son-in-law, HaGaon Rabbi, Rav of the Yishmach Moshe beis medrash shlit"a.

Hotzaah and Hachnasah: R' Shlomo Yaakov Mertz (Williamsburg). Pesukei Shema Yisroel: R' Yaakov Yehoshua Friedman (Brazil).

The Rebbe wished the chassan, the mechutanim, and the entire congregation that there should be simchos in Jewish homes. It ended at around 1:00.

At the Torah, the Rebbe shlit"a explained the verse "Eileh toldos Noach" and taught that by going to the mikvah, beyond the cleansing it brings to a person, a spiritual light of holiness shines in from Heaven, which adds pure fear of Hashem and daas, and sweetens harsh judgments into mercy.

Maariv of Motzei Shabbos: HaGaon HaGadol, the Dayan and Moreh Tzedek shlit"a. After Havdalah, people went over to wish a gutte voch. It ended at 8:55.

On Motzei Shabbos there were entrance times; among others, a group of alumni of our holy yeshiva, Heichal HaTorah in Williamsburg, entered for a private audience to be tested on various subjects learned in past years. After the testing, the Rebbe bestowed upon them his holy blessings for success in the new zman.

The Dees Rebbe of Kiryas Joel shlit"a also entered for a private audience ahead of the wedding of his grandson, which will take place IY"H this week, and the Rebbe shlit"a bestowed his holy blessings.
