Tuesday, Parshas Shemos — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

At around 8:30 the Rebbe shlit"a entered for Shacharis in the Beis Chabad beis medrash. Baal tefillah: Rabbi Chaim Hersh Mendlowitz shlit"a. After davening, R' Shmuel Wasserman, one of the prominent Papa chassidim in Williamsburg, presented the Rebbe shlit"a with a set of the newly published "Sifrei HaHatzalah" on the rescue of the holy R' Aharon of Belz zt"l during the Second World War, and a fine conversation ensued.

In the afternoon at around 5:30 the Rebbe shlit"a entered for Mincha in the Beis Chabad beis medrash.
HaRav R' Yosef Yisroel Eisenberger shlit"a, dayan of Shikun Skvira, who is vacationing in these days, took leave of the Rebbe, and a fine conversation ensued.
Between Mincha and Maariv the Rebbe engaged in Torah study, and at the time of Rabbeinu Tam Maariv was davened.

Monday, Parshas Shemos — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

At around 8:30 the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a entered for Shacharis at the home of R' Moshe Falkowitz.
Baal tefillah: Rabbi Chaim Hersh Mendlowitz shlit"a (Kiryas Joel); Pesicha: Rabbi Moshe Baruch Zilber shlit"a (Boro Park); Rishon: the Rebbe shlit"a; Sheni: R' Yitzchak Dovid Landau (Williamsburg); Shlishi: the Rebbe's brother-in-law, HaGaon HaTzaddik Rabbi Baruch Moshe shlit"a, Rav of the beis medrash; Hagbah: R' Shlomo Moshe Klagsbrun (Kiryas Joel); Gelilah: R' Yisroel Moshe Landau (Kiryas Joel).

In the late morning, at around 11:15, the Rebbe shlit"a, as is his holy custom, went for a walk in Nos Desha, where a splendid conversation took place on Torah and Chassidus, holy customs and stories of tzaddikim.

In the afternoon at around 5:30 the Rebbe shlit"a entered for Mincha at the home of R' Moshe Falkowitz; baal tefillah: R' Avrohom Yuda Lebovits (Williamsburg).
Between Mincha and Maariv the Rebbe engaged in Torah study, and R' Moshe Falkowitz reviewed his daily shiur in Chumash with Rashi.
At the time of Rabbeinu Tam, Maariv was davened. Baal tefillah: Rabbi Chaim Hersh Mendlowitz shlit"a.
After Maariv, several guests who had come for a "menuchas hanefesh" visit took leave of the Rebbe, among them HaGaon R' Moshe Shimon HaLevi Wosner shlit"a, Av Beis Din of Shevet HaLevi in Lakewood.

Sunday, Parshas Shemos — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Satmar Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in the Heichal HaMesivta, Kedushas Yoel branch. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the following bar mitzvah bochurim:
The bochur Moshe Strulowitz.
The bochur Yoel Weiss.
The bochur Mordechai Efraim Fishel Feuerwerker.
After davening, the Rebbe delivered a shiur on a sugya in the yeshiva's shiurim, and left the bochurim with a difficult question on the sugya before departing for rest. Afterwards a l'chaim took place with the bar mitzvah bochurim in his private room, and the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a was accompanied out with the niggun "Ki Malachav."

At around 1:20, the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a left his holy home in Kiryas Joel on the way to Stewart Airport, from where the Rebbe flew on a private plane to Palm Springs, California, where the Rebbe will stay for rest until this coming Wednesday, Parshas Beshalach, IY"H.

At 2:33 the private plane took off at a good hour. On the plane, the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a engaged in Torah study for an extended time and wrote chiddushei Torah.

At around 4:55 in the afternoon, the plane landed at Palm Springs International Airport in Palm Springs, California, where the Rebbe was greeted by members of the community who vacation there.

From the airport, the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a went straight to his holy residence, the annual lodging, in the home of the distinguished philanthropist R' Hershel Spitz.

In the evening at around 5:40, the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a came to daven Mincha at the home of R' Moshe Falkowitz. Between Mincha and Maariv the Rebbe engaged in Torah study, and at the time of Rabbeinu Tam, Maariv was davened. The baal tefillah was the bochur Mendel Ber Weiser.

Motzei Shabbos, Parshas Vayechi — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

At around 10:00, the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a went to the auditorium of the Beis Rochel building for the siyum on all six orders of Mishnah, made by the hundreds of boys born in 5780 [sic: תשב"ר] from the "Misamdim Ratz LaMishnah" program, where their parents and grandfathers were also present.
R' Leibish Lish spoke, and afterwards the siyum on all six orders of Mishnah took place, with each boy learning one mishnah so as to complete all six orders of Mishnah at once. The Rebbe drank l'chaim and delivered words of Torah, bringing out the importance of the children who give of their time to learn Mishnayos, and the pride that Kiryas Joel has that so many children are completing Mishnayos. He said that he too has the merit of being a grandfather of several grandchildren who were completing, and concluded with his holy blessing.

Afterwards, at around 10:30, the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a arrived at the Beis Medrash of Ohel Piga for the vort (tenaim) in our holy courts, of the daughter of the Rav of the Beis Medrash Ohel Piga shlit"a, the HaGaon HaTzaddik, head of the beis din [sic], with the chosson, son of HaGaon Rabbi Aryeh Menachem Mendel Rubin shlit"a, son of HaGaon Rabbi Yechezkel Shraga Rubin shlit"a, Av Beis Din of Tomashov shlit"a (currently in Boro Park), and son-in-law of the Av Beis Din of Monsey shlit"a.
The Melave Malka zemiros were sung, and the grandfathers, the HaGaon HaTzaddik Av Beis Din of Monsey shlit"a and the Tomashov Rebbe shlit"a, spoke.
The Rebbe shlit"a arranged the tenaim. The witnesses were R' Dovid Eckstein and R' Moshe Goldstein; the guarantor on behalf of the chosson was Rabbi Yechiel Yekusiel Yuda Rubin shlit"a, and the guarantor on behalf of the kallah was R' Chaim Yedidya Fisher.
Afterwards the grandfather, the Dushinsky Rebbe shlit"a, spoke, and then the Rebbe honored the Dushinsky Rebbe with reading the tenaim.
The Rebbe shlit"a then delivered words of Torah on the verse "Declaring the end from the beginning…", explaining the dispute among the tzaddikim whether Hashem must first bestow spiritual abundance or first material abundance, and concluded with his holy blessing.
The Rebbe drank l'chaim and blessed the chosson, the mechutanim, the grandfathers and the entire assembly, and afterwards the assembly went over to wish mazel tov.
Birkas Hamazon: the chosson, Rabbi Yeshaya shlit"a. On his way out, the Rebbe blessed the kallah. The event ended at around 12:10.

After the tenaim, the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a went to the home of the distinguished young man, the wealthy R' Alter Baruch, son of R' Meir Levy, in the Gilulos section of Kiryas Joel. The Rebbe affixed a mezuzah at the main entrance. Afterwards a signing of shtaros took place, where the "Melave Malka Group" together purchased a classroom to become partners with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a in the new Beis Rochel building in the Kiryas Joel mosdos. The Rebbe signed the partnership documents. Afterwards a l'chaim celebration took place, where the Rebbe named the classroom for the "Cheder Shabbos Achim" and extended his holy blessings that all the partners themselves should merit to buy a classroom.
