Monday, Parshas Yisro, 15 Shevat

In the morning, before Shacharis, the brissim took place.
For the son born to HaRav HaChassid R' Binyon Yitzchok Goldman, where the Rebbe was sandek.
And for the son born to R' Yitzchok Eizik Lipa Wertzberger, where the Rebbe was sandek.

The Satmar Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in the Heichal HaMesivta, Divrei Yoel branch. Before davening, the Rebbe put on tefillin for the bar mitzvah bochur, the bochur Yaakov Yechezkel Taub (Monsey).
During the Torah reading, the Rebbe went up for hagbah, and after davening he recited the daily Tehillim shiur, on chapter 15, verse 2. Afterwards, a lechayim took place with the bar mitzvah bochur in the Rebbe's private room.

During the morning hours, the Rebbe shlit"a was on his weekly visit to the matzah bakery of our holy kehilla.

In the afternoon at around 4:50, the Rebbe shlit"a davened Mincha in his holy home.
After Mincha, at around 5:15, the Rebbe arrived at the Yeshiva Gedolah, Shiur Daled, where the Rebbe conducted his pure table in honor of Tu BiShevat. The Rebbe washed for the seudah, and during the seudah the Tu BiShevat niggunim were sung. Before the compote, the Rebbe made the Borei Pri HaEtz blessing and tasted from the dates.

The Rebbe shlit"a delivered a Torah discourse in honor of the day, interwoven with words of chizuk for the bochurim, and concluded with abundant blessings for the bochurim.

Afterwards, niggunim of hischazkus continued while the Rebbe shlit"a read, for an extended time, a kvitel of the entire yeshiva as a whole.
Afterwards, the Rebbe tasted from the esrog and distributed shirayim of the esrog to all the bochurim.
Birkas Hamazon: HaGaon R' Yitzchok Yaakov Rosenfeld shlit"a, one of the roshei yeshiva. It ended at around 7:00.

In the evening, the Rebbe shlit"a officiated at the kiddushin at the chuppah of the following mechutanim.

Entry times to the Rebbe's room were from around 8:15 until 12:45 at night, in his holy home on Ohel Court.

The Rebbe shlit"a read the tenaim at the tenaim ceremony in his holy home, of the mechutanim HaRav R' Chaim Hersh Kohn shlit"a - R' Binyon Eliyahu Zaldan.

The Rebbe davened Maariv at around 12:00 in his holy home.

Sunday, Parshas Yisro — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

In the morning, before Shacharis, a bris took place for the newborn son of R' Dovid Leibush Yakobovitch, at which the Rebbe served as sandek.

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in the Heichal HaMesivta, Kedushas Yoel branch. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the following bar mitzvah bochurim:
The son of HaRav R' Binyamin Zev Fuchs shlit"a.
The bochur Shlomo Zalman Moskovitch.
The bochur Meir Yehuda Aryeh Singer (of Boro Park).

After davening, the Rebbe delivered the daily Tehillim shiur on chapter 15, verse 2. Afterwards, a lechayim took place with the bar mitzvah bochurim in his private room, and several bochurim went in to Kodesh Kodashim to give answers to the question that the Rebbe had left over in the yeshiva before leaving, for the elevation of the soul. Afterwards, the Rebbe shlit"a telephoned to comfort the mourner, HaGaon HaGadol Rabbi Shmuel Brandsdorfer shlit"a, one of the rabbonim of Toldos Aharon in Beit Shemesh and a member of the Badatz Eida HaChareidis in the holy city of Yerushalayim, on the passing of his wife, the Rebbetzin a"h.

During the morning hours, the Rebbe shlit"a was on his weekly visit to the mehudar slaughterhouse.

In the afternoon at around 5:50, the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy home.

In the evening, the Rebbe shlit"a officiated at kiddushin at the chuppah of the following mechutanim:

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Maariv at around 8:20 in his holy home at the Ohel Court, after which there was time for entry to Kodesh Kodashim until around 9:15.
Afterwards, the Rebbe shlit"a read the tenaim in the tenaim hall in his holy home for the following mechutanim:

At around 9:30, the Rebbe shlit"a entered the main beis medrash for the pure tish and lechayim gathering in honor of Tu B'Shevat, which was held in a most elevated manner in the presence of thousands of anash. The main beis medrash was filled from end to end, and the central table was beautifully laid out with fruit trees in honor of Tu B'Shevat.

During the tish, many stirring and joyous melodies were sung.
The Rebbe shlit"a drank lechayim and wished the public lechayim, to thousands, and then delivered the first words of Torah with powerful words of chizuk: one must learn from a tree. In the middle of winter, one sees nothing from the outside, yet Tu B'Shevat is the Rosh Hashana for trees because from within it has received sap. The same is true of a person: even from the outside he looks like an ordinary person, yet it is said that on the inside he has changed and become better.

The stirring melodies continued, and fruit was brought up. The Rebbe made the blessing on the fruit of a tree on a date and tasted from the esrog. Afterwards, "Ilan" was sung, composed by HaRav R' Yehoshua Mandelovitch, of Boro Park, and the boy Lipa Friedman sang the verses for "Ilan".
Afterwards, the Rebbe shlit"a delivered Torah a second time with longer words of aggadah in honor of the day, and brought out that Tu B'Shevat is an auspicious time for Torah and for praying for upright children, and concluded with abundant blessings.

Afterwards, fruits of all the Seven Species were brought up, and the Rebbe tasted from the pomegranates, and fruit was distributed to the entire public. It concluded at around 11:15.

Motzei Shabbos 'B'tzeil HaKodesh'

At around 9:45, the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a went to pay a bikur cholim visit at the home of HaGaon HaGadol, the Dayan and Av Beis Din shlit"a, following a minor operation. A warm, friendly conversation developed, and the Rebbe inquired after his well-being. The Dayan shlit"a honored the Rebbe with a lechayim, and the Rebbe warmly bestowed upon him his holy blessings.

At around 10:10, the Rebbe shlit"a set out on the way to the first dinner of our holy mosdos in Linden, New Jersey. At around 11:10 the Rebbe arrived at the dinner, which took place in "Ulam Brach." Upon arrival, the Rebbe greeted the rabbonim of the city shlit"a, Zemiros for Melaveh Malkah were sung, and HaGaon Rabbi Eliezer Mordechai Soffer shlit"a, Rav of our holy kehilla in Linden, spoke. Afterwards, the chairman, Rabbi Yitzchak Meir Wagschal shlit"a, introduced the honorees who built the mosdos, and the Rebbe presented the awards and warmly blessed each one individually.
The Kasho Rebbe shlit"a also participated, and a pleasant conversation developed.

The Rebbe drank a lechayim and blessed the entire assembly, and delivered words of Torah and guidance. After the divrei Torah, the Rebbe spoke in praise of the residents of Linden, and in particular of HaGaon, the Rav of our kehilla in Linden shlit"a, who leads the kehilla as is fitting for a Satmar kehilla, following the path of our holy Rabbeim. He also spoke about the expansion of the boundaries of holiness of our kehilla and holy mosdos, and spoke in praise of the distinguished donors. The Rebbe likewise spoke in praise of the Kasho Rebbe shlit"a, who was among the pioneers of the city and stands at the head of all the spiritual endeavors in the city. The Rebbe concluded with a blessing of abundance for the donors, askanim, and the entire assembly. The dinner ended at around 12:45.

After the dinner, the Rebbe shlit"a went to our kehilla's beis medrash in the city and looked around for an extended time, in the beis medrash and in the mikvah, and heard a detailed report from the gabbaim about the crowding and pressure caused by the heavy overflow of mispallelim, may they live.
From there the Rebbe shlit"a traveled on and stopped at the new site where, IY"H, the new magnificent beis medrash of our holy kehilla will be built.

Then at around 1:00 the Rebbe arrived for a visit with the Kasho Rebbe shlit"a. A pleasant conversation ensued in divrei Torah and drush, and about the holy Atzeres Tzvi of Zidichov zy"a and the holy Kedushas Yom Tov zy"a. The Kasho Rebbe shlit"a honored the Rebbe with a lechayim, and the Rebbe bestowed upon him his holy blessings.
At around 1:45 the Rebbe set out on the way home to his holy residence in Kiryas Joel.

Shabbos Kodesh, Parshas Beshalach, Shabbos Shirah — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

Friday night at 5:55 the Rebbe shlit"a entered the beis medrash wrapped in his tallis and approached the amud for Mincha and Kabbalas Shabbos: HaRav R' Meir Shlomo Philipp.

After davening, the appeal for the Mosad Bnos Yerushalayim of the holy city took place. It concluded at 7:30, the crowd went over to wish a "Gut Shabbos," and the Rebbe shlit"a went into his private room.

At 8:30 the Rebbe shlit"a entered the Hechal HaShulchanos for the tish together with the talmidei hamesivta, and began, as is his custom, with "Shalom Aleichem," with emotion and sweetness.

Eishes Chayil: the Rebbe's grandson, the bochur Meir Eliezer, son of HaGaon HaTzaddik Rabbi Berach Moshe shlit"a, rav of the beis medrash. Lifting of the cup: R' Yisroel Mordechai Felberbaum, member of the leadership of our holy kehilla in Yerushalayim, the holy city.

The Rebbe shlit"a honored people with the zemiros. Kol Mekadesh: HaRav R' Mechel Neiman shlit"a (Williamsburg); Menucha V'Simcha: HaRav R' Yoel Schwartz shlit"a, dayan and moreh tzedek of our beis medrash in the Gelbstein building, Williamsburg.

The Rebbe shlit"a delivered a Torah thought on the verse "And G-d did not lead them by the way of the land of the Philistines," and explained, in the manner of derush, the topic of "the Torah speaks in the language of people."

Stories and accounts: This week the Rebbe shlit"a related an account about the holy Divrei Chaim zy"a, about a journey to the holy Chozeh of Lublin zy"a for Shabbos Shirah.

Kah Ribon Olam: HaRav R' Shmuel Eliezer Teitelbaum shlit"a (Boro Park). The newly married chasanim went around taking fruit. Then, "Bayom Hashvi'i": the Rebbe's grandson HaRav Chaim Hersh Teitelbaum shlit"a of Ratzfert. They continued with "Bivki'acha Yam Suf" in honor of Shabbos Shirah. It concluded at 11:45.

On Shabbos Kodesh

On Shabbos morning the Rebbe shlit"a entered the beis medrash at 9:30. The Rebbe approached the amud for Pesukei D'Zimra in honor of Shabbos Shirah and recited Hallel HaGadol and the Shirah verse by verse with great fervor. For Chazaras HaShatz the Rebbe sent his grandson HaRav Chaim Hersh Teitelbaum shlit"a.

The Rebbe shlit"a delivered a Torah thought on the verse "And Israel saw the great hand," and explained that with each plague the Egyptians openly suffered, they received five plagues in secret. The main plague corresponded to how they caused the Jews to stumble through evil deeds, and the rest corresponded to how they caused them to stumble in thought. From this we must take a lesson about the severity of evil thoughts, which delay the redemption, and do a complete teshuvah in speech, deed and thought.
