Sunday, Parshas Bamidbar — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

This morning before Shacharis, a bris took place for the newborn son of R' Avrohom Mordechai Weber, at which the Rebbe served as sandek and mohel.

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in the Heichal HaMesivta, Kedushas Yoel branch. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim.
The bochur Yoel Yaakov Fish.
The bochur Hersh Pinchas Moskowitz.
After davening, the Rebbe shlit"a delivered the daily Tehillim shiur on chapter 15, verse 3. Afterwards, a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochurim in his private room.

In the morning, the Rebbe shlit"a went on his weekly visit to the hechsher-grade slaughterhouse (Beis HaShechita HaMehuderes).

In the afternoon, the Rebbe shlit"a went up to the Heichal HaYeshiva, Vayoel Moshe branch, where the Rebbe learned with a chavrusa from among the yeshiva's students in his private room, and at 6:10 the Rebbe davened Mincha in the yeshiva.

Yechidus hours were from about 8:00 until 12:40 at night, in his holy home on Ohel Court.

The Rebbe shlit"a read the tena'im in the tena'im hall of his holy home for the following mechutanim.

During yechidus hours, R' Shmuel Shlomo Teller, director of Beis Rochel in Kiryas Joel, entered and presented to the Rebbe the certificates of commendation from the students of our holy institutions in England on the subject of technology.

The Rebbe davened Maariv at about 10:45, and then continued receiving the public.

Shabbos Kodesh, Parshas Behar-Bechukosai — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

On Friday night at around 8:35 the Rebbe shlit"a entered the beis medrash wrapped in his tallis and approached the amud for Mincha and Kabbalas Shabbos: HaGaon Rabbi Yoel Stein shlit"a. They finished at around 10:10, the congregation went over to wish a gut Shabbos, and the Rebbe went into his private room.

A short time after davening, the Rebbe shlit"a entered the holy tish in the Heichal HaShulchanos together with the talmidim of the Mesivta, and began, as is his custom, with Shalom Aleichem, with feeling and sweetness.
Eishes Chayil: the Rebbe's grandson the bochur Meir Eliezer ti"b, son of HaGaon HaTzaddik, the Rav of the beis medrash, Berach Moshe shlit"a.

The Rebbe shlit"a honored the following with the zemiros: Kol Mekadesh: R' Moshe Rosenai (Beit Shemesh). Menucha V'Simcha: Rabbi Yoel Yosef Teitelbaum shlit"a.

The Rebbe shlit"a delivered a Torah thought on the verse "And Hashem spoke to Moshe on Har Sinai, saying," and explained, in the manner of a drasha, the topic of the reward for a mitzvah in this world.

Stories and Accounts: This week the Rebbe shlit"a related about the holy Toras Chaim of Kasov zt"l, whose yahrzeit falls on Tuesday, 25 Iyar.

Kah Ribon Olam: HaGaon Rabbi Avrohom Wolf Friedman shlit"a. The new chasanim went over to take fruit. At "Ba'yom HaShevi'i": R' Meir Siman. They finished at around 1:15.

On Shabbos morning the Rebbe shlit"a entered the beis medrash at around 9:30. Pesukei D'Zimra: Rabbi Kalman Gefen shlit"a. The Rebbe shlit"a approached the amud for Shacharis, and for Chazaras HaShatz he sent HaGaon Rabbi Yosef Shmuel Berkowitz shlit"a, moreh tzedek.

Hotza'ah V'Hachnasah: R' Moshe Baruch Stern. The pesukim of Shema Yisroel: HaGaon Rabbi Hershel Friedman shlit"a, dayan of the Satmar kehilla in Williamsburg.

At the afternoon tish in his holy home, the talmidim of the Mesivta, Sniff Eitz Chaim, third-year class, and the talmidim of the Yeshiva Gedolah Esek HaTorah of Monsey had the privilege of dining with the Rebbe. During the seudah the bochurim asked questions on hashkafa, on the customs of our Rebbes, and on history, to which the Rebbe responded and explained at length with good reasoning and insight.
The Rebbe shlit"a honored the singers to sing the zemiros. With the Shir HaYichud from Pesach until Shavuos he honored the bochur Noach HaKohen Landau, and with Birkas Hamazon the bochur Shmuel Tzvi, son of HaGaon Rabbi Elazar Ungar shlit"a. They finished at around 2:40.

The Rebbe entered for Mincha and Shalosh Seudos at around 8:30. Mincha: R' Gershon Mendel Feldman. Hotza'ah V'Hachnasah: R' Bentzion Klein. Kohen: Rabbi Yaakov Glick (Williamsburg). Levi: HaGaon Rabbi Avrohom Yehoshua Wertzberger shlit"a. Shlishi: R' Avrohom Yehoshua Neiman (Williamsburg). Hagbah: the Rebbe shlit"a. Gelilah: R' Chaim Elya Lichtman (Williamsburg).

The Rebbe honored the zemiros at Shalosh Seudos. Odeh: R' Noach Gefen. Shir HaMaalos: HaGaon Rabbi Hershel Friedman shlit"a.

The Rebbe shlit"a delivered a Torah thought on the verse "If you walk in My statutes," and explained that the general rule is that there is no reward for a mitzvah in this world; however, when one learns and engages in Torah in a certain area, which is considered as if one had fulfilled it, for such a fulfillment of mitzvos one does receive reward in this world.

Maariv Motzei Shabbos: Rabbi Hershel Kohn shlit"a. After Havdalah, they went over to wish a gutte voch. They finished at around 10:55.

At around 11:50, HaGaon HaTzaddik Rabbi Moshe Rosner shlit"a, Av Beis Din of Tarcal, visited the Rebbe in his holy home. A pleasant conversation in Torah and Chassidus ensued; the Rebbe honored him with a lechayim and bestowed upon him his holy blessings.

Thursday, Parshas Behar-Bechukosai, 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in the Heichal HaMesivta, Beirach Moshe branch. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim.
The bochur Yoel Berzel HaKohen Glick.
The twin sons of R' Amram Acker.
During the Torah reading the Rebbe went up for Hagbaha, and after davening a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochurim in his private room.

The time for entering the Rebbe's room was from around 8:30 until 11:40 at night, at his holy residence on Uhel Court.

Wednesday, Parshas Behar-Bechukosai, 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in the great beis medrash. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim.
The bochur Avrohom Yoel Moshe Yakobovitz.
The bochur Aryeh Berish Hershkovitz.
The Rebbe shlit"a lit 5 candles in honor of the yahrzeit of the holy Rabbi Menachem Mendel of Rimanov zy"a, and after davening a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochurim in his private room.

At around 1:30 in the afternoon, the Rebbe shlit"a left his holy residence for Stewart Airport, from where the Rebbe shlit"a flew on a private plane to Rhode Island, a half-hour flight, to visit the Rebbetzin tlita, who is staying there for a short time for medical treatment. At around 5:25 the private plane landed back at Stewart Airport, where the Rebbe shlit"a returned to his holy residence.

The time for entering the Rebbe's room was from around 8:25 until 12:20 at night, at his holy residence on Uhel Court.
The Rebbe davened Mincha at 8:25 and lit 5 candles before davening.

The Rebbe shlit"a read the tenaim at the tenaim hall at his holy residence for the mechutanim R' Yeshaya Sachs (Williamsburg) and R' Yaakov Shlomo Rubinfeld.

During the time of entry, HaGaon Rabbi Yechezkel Schwartz shlit"a, dayan at the Badatz Shaarei Horaah in Bnei Brak, came for a visit together with HaGaon Rabbi Yosef Hersh Sofer shlit"a, moreh tzedek of Kiryas Joel. A lengthy conversation took place on halachic matters in various areas of Shulchan Aruch, and the Rebbe sent him off with his holy blessings.

The Rebbe davened Maariv at around 12:20 at his holy residence.
