An inspiring 'Shalom HaIr Seminar' took place this Sunday, Parshas Naso, for avreichim of our holy kehilla in London, who wish to move to Canvey Island because of the severe housing crisis in London. It was arranged by the 'Housing Committee' of the Avreichim Union of our holy kehilla in Canvey Island.

Among others, those who spoke were the HaGaon Rabbi, Av Beis Din of London shlit"a, and R' Yosha Leib Levy, one of the founders of our kehilla and mosdos in the new, flourishing city of Linden, New Jersey, on the topic: The secret of success in the new community of Linden.

In a surprising move, the prominent R' Eliezer Lev announced that he is donating the new beis medrash building of our holy kehilla, which will soon be built in Canvey Island.

Monday, Parshas Naso — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

This morning, before Shacharis, a bris was held for the newborn son of R' Moshe Falkowitz, where the Rebbe served as sandek and mohel.

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in the Heichal HaMesivta, Divrei Yoel branch. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochur, the bochur Avrohom Yitzchak Tabak.
During the Torah reading, the Rebbe went up for Hagbah, and after davening he taught the daily Tehillim shiur on chapter 15, verse 2. Afterwards, a lechayim was held with a bar mitzvah bochur in the Rebbe's private room.

The gabbaim of the Kupas Chasanim also came in to receive the Rebbe's holy blessing ahead of the upcoming "Mitzvah Tantz" raffle campaign for the benefit of the fund, after Yom Tov Shavuos, may it come to us for good, and the Rebbe warmly bestowed his holy blessings upon the gabbaim.

In the afternoon, the Rebbe shlit"a went up to the Heichal HaYeshiva, Divrei Yoel branch, where the Rebbe learned with a chavrusa from among the talmidim of the yeshiva in his private room.

Late in the afternoon, a meeting was held in the Rebbe's holy home with the Rebbe shlit"a and HaGaon HaGadol, the Av Beis Din of Kiryas Joel, together with the members of the Eruv Committee under the auspices of the Beis Horaah in Kiryas Joel, regarding the completed eruv and the boundaries of the great city of Kiryas Joel, may it be established, in all its corners.
The Rebbe reviewed the newly completed eruv map, and they discussed the many details involved in the eruvei techumin and eruvei chatzeiros, as well as various questions that arise from time to time. The Rebbe warmly bestowed his holy blessings that no stumbling block should come from under our hands. They also discussed various questions regarding the laws of meat and milk, and regarding baking crackers, which were recently brought before the Beis Horaah, and the Rebbe together with the Av Beis Din shlit"a worked out together the approaches in both directions.
After the meeting, at 8:20, the Rebbe shlit"a davened Mincha in his holy home, and the Rebbe then set out for Monsey to grace the annual dinner "Eli Asor" and the celebration of the tenth anniversary of the founding of our holy institutions in Monsey, which today stand with over 2,000 children, without an evil eye, for glory and splendor. The dinner took place in a lavish setting in the halls of Valley Terrace.
Upon arrival, the Rebbe shlit"a davened Maariv in a side room. The Rebbe lit 5 candles and led the davening at the amud in honor of the hilula of his ancestor, the holy Rebbe of Volove zt"l.

At around 9:45, the Rebbe shlit"a entered the hall and greeted the rabbonim of our holy kehilla. The chairman, R' Nachman Levy, continued with his address and called out the generous people who participated with larger sums for the dinner. Afterwards, R' Yaakov Yitzchak Oberlander spoke and presented the financial state of our holy institutions, and highlighted the expansion of the borders of holiness, as they had just renovated the magnificent Beis Rochel building, "the Neustadt Building," and they hope to soon complete the gigantic Talmud Torah building, "the Goldstein Building," and at the same time they are already preparing to build two more grand buildings for Beis Rochel.
Afterwards, verses in honor of the occasion were sung by the children of our holy institutions, a stroll through the ten years of the institutions' existence, after which HaGaon HaTzaddik, the Av Beis Din of Monsey shlit"a, spoke with the address of the evening.

The Rebbe shlit"a delivered a holy address about the importance of those who support Torah, and spoke in praise of our holy kehilla and institutions in Monsey, saying that each time one comes to Monsey, one does not recognize the place, as it grows better and greater in quantity and quality. He then spoke about the learning seder of two hours before davening on the second day of Shavuos last year in our batei medrash around the world, and that it should be continued with even greater strength and vigor. The Rebbe praised the members of the community who follow the takanos that were instituted regarding unkosher devices, and spoke words of encouragement regarding the children's clothing, and concluded with abundant blessings. The event ended at around 11:00.

After the dinner, the Rebbe shlit"a went over for a return visit to his mechutan, HaGaon HaTzaddik Rabbi Moshe Rosner shlit"a, Av Beis Din of Tarczal, on the occasion of the simcha of the hachnasas sefer Torah that he brought into his beis medrash yesterday. A lengthy conversation took place about the customs of hachnasas sefer Torah and about the holy Keren L'Dovid zt"l, whose yahrzeit was yesterday. The Tarczal Rav shlit"a honored the Rebbe with a lechayim, and the Rebbe bestowed his blessing upon him.

At around 11:45, the Rebbe shlit"a left his home and set out for his holy home in Kiryas Joel.

Sunday, Parshas Naso, 1 Sivan — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in Heichal HaMesivta, Kedushas Yoel branch. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim.

The Rebbe shlit"a went up to the recital of Hallel, and during the Torah reading was called up as the fourth aliyah. After davening, a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochurim in his private room.

In the morning, the rich and grandiose gathering, "Pas Shacharis and Seudas Rosh Chodesh," took place for the 1,500 supporters who merited to join with a sum of $1,800 in the establishment of the mighty new Talmud Torah fortress, "Binyan Klein," of the Kiryas Yoel mosdos.
At 10:00 in the morning the doors of the magnificent building opened, where the Rosh Chodesh seudah took place in a rich setting in the splendid "Ginas Klein" hall. There was also an opportunity for all the donors who built the building to walk around and tour the entire mighty building.

At around 1:30 the Rebbe shlit"a arrived at the mighty fortress for the "Mezuzah Affixing Ceremony and Lechayim Celebration." Upon arrival, the Rebbe affixed a mezuzah on the main entrance, and then entered the splendid simcha hall "Gnei Klein" on the first floor, where the lechayim celebration took place. Also present at the gathering were the ninth-grade students of the branch of HaRav Rabbi Binyamin Ber Berkowitz shlit"a, who are housed in the building.
Several niggunim were sung, and R' Shimon Moshe Kepetch, a member of the mosdos' board, spoke with fitting words. The menahel, Rabbi Binyamin Ber shlit"a, presented the Rebbe with a gift of over 2,500 consecutive hours, which the bochurim prepared over the past week for the chanukas habayis.
The Rebbe shlit"a drank lechayim and warmly wished the builder and founder of the building, the Rabbinic philanthropist Rabbi Akiva Hersh Klein, and the entire public, and delivered divrei Torah, bringing out the importance of those who support Torah, especially the baalei batim and avreichim who exerted themselves by giving the sum of $1,800, and with this they reached enormous sums. The Rebbe concluded with abundant blessings for all the donors, young and old.

After the lechayim celebration, the Rebbe went down to the lower floor to the magnificent wedding hall "Ginas Klein." The Rebbe looked around the entire hall accompanied by the esteemed philanthropist, the Rabbinic R' Akiva Hersh, and R' Shlomo Zalman Weiss, administrator of the mosdos, and they walked around the large kitchen and all the rooms. It concluded at around 2:15.

In the afternoon hours, the heads and board of the kehilla in Kiryas Yoel entered the Rebbe's holy home together with the master architect R' Aharon Oestreicher of the holy city of Yerushalayim. They brought the plans that were just approved for massively expanding and doubling the Beis Medrash HaGadol in Kiryas Yoel, which has outgrown its space and can no longer accommodate the enormous public of thousands who come to be in the shadow of holiness. The Rebbe reviewed the plans for an extended time and went through the many details the plans include, and then bestowed his holy blessings that "the will of Hashem in your hands shall succeed."

In the evening at around 8:00 the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy home.

The Rebbe shlit"a read the tenaim at the tenaim hall in his holy home between the mechutanim, HaRav Rabbi Yosef Moshe Glantz shlit"a and R' Elazar Mermelstein.

During the entry times, the completion of writing the letters took place for the Sefer Torah being written by R' Fishel Farkash, which will be brought into the Beis Medrash HaGadol in Kiryas Yoel this coming Isru Chag Shavuos. The Rebbe wrote in the letters, drank lechayim and bestowed his holy blessings.

The Rebbe davened Maariv at around 12:10 in his holy home.

Shabbos Parshas Bamidbar, Mevarchim Chodesh Sivan — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a, in our holy kehilla in Williamsburg

On Friday night at around 8:40 the Rebbe shlit"a entered the beis medrash wrapped in his tallis and approached the amud for Mincha and Kabbalas Shabbos. HaGaon Rabbi Meir Halberstam shlit"a, dayan of our beis medrash in the Brach building, davened. They finished at around . The congregation went over for a longer time to wish a gut Shabbos, and the Rebbe went into his private room.

At around 10:50 the Rebbe shlit"a entered the pure tish in Heichal Tehillos Yehosef together with close to 200 talmidim of Shiur Gimmel from all the branches of the yeshivos ketanos, and began, in his holy way, Shalom Aleichem with emotion and sweetness.
Eishes Chayil: the Rebbe's grandson, the young Yechezkel (may he be well), son of the HaGaon HaTzaddik, Av Beis Din of Sighet shlit"a. Hagbahas HaKos: HaGaon Rabbi Pinchas Schlesinger shlit"a, menahel of our holy yeshiva in London.

Before the fish, the Rebbe shlit"a said Torah to the bochurim on the Midrash "When Hashem gave the Torah to Israel, the nations of the world were jealous of them," as an encouragement to learn Torah with diligence. When one learns Torah, one derives tremendous pleasure, and therefore there are no complaints or protests. He mentioned the learning schedule of Shavuos in the morning, two hours before davening, and he invited the bochurim: "V'sa'adu libchem — come and fortify your hearts" through learning Torah.

The Rebbe shlit"a said Torah on the connection between the end of Sefer Vayikra and the beginning of Sefer Bamidbar, and explained it with a longer derush, layer upon layer. From time to time he reminded the bochurim to put their minds to it so as to be able to follow.

For Mussaf the Rebbe shlit"a approached the amud in honor of the yahrzeit of his ancestor, the holy Rebbe of Volove zt"l, which falls this week on Tuesday, 3 Sivan. Pesicha for Ane'im Zemiros: R' Shmuel Rotter (the holy city of Yerushalayim). They finished at around 12:40.

In the afternoon at around 7:10 the Rebbe shlit"a entered to learn Pirkei Avos in the great beis medrash, which was packed with an enormous crowd of thousands of men.
The Rebbe shlit"a spoke on Perek 6, Mishnah 3, "One who learns from his fellow even a single letter," and explained it with words of derush and aggadah. He began with an explanation that Jewish children merit that their Torah is fruitful and multiplies: a single letter can be expounded in many ways when the letter is in holiness and purity. He also explained the mishnah, in the order of Alef-Beis from Alef to Yud, with 16 approaches, which refer to various matters in preparation for receiving the Torah. He continued with words of mussar on "sanctify yourself in what is permitted to you," on spending Yom Tov of Shavuos in a chassidic manner, and on guarding the eyes during the summer days. He also mentioned the learning schedule of last year for the second day of Shavuos before davening, that it should continue this year as well. They finished at around 8:15.

The Rebbe shlit"a said Torah on the Midrash "When Hashem gave the Torah to Israel, the nations of the world were jealous of them; they said, 'What did they see, what did they see to draw closer than all others?'" He explained that Jews merit Hashem's love, and even when one does teshuva out of fear with his whole heart, Hashem bestows love upon him as a gift, since they are engaged in tzedakah and chesed. He continued with words of preparation for Yom Tov of Shavuos.

For Maariv on Motzei Shabbos the Rebbe davened at the amud in anticipation of the hilula this week of his ancestor, the holy Rebbe of Volove zt"l. After Havdalah the people went over to wish a gut voch. They finished at around 11:05.

On Motzei Shabbos, in his holy home, there entered with the Rebbe's permission the noted philanthropist R' Wolf Nussenzweig, publisher of the Chasam Sofer sefarim in the Wolf Nussenzweig beautified edition. He brought the Rebbe a new manuscript of the Torah teachings of the holy Chasam Sofer, and also brought the Rebbe the new set of the Chasam Sofer Likutim on the Moadim. The Rebbe bestowed upon him his holy blessings.

At around 12:15 the Rebbe shlit"a went to visit the home of the esteemed philanthropist R' Yoel Landau in honor of the engagement of his daughter, mazel tov. There the Rebbe also donated a respectable sum toward the new building "Hachnasas Orchim" in the shul courtyard, in the ancestral city of Sighet, may it be rebuilt. A longer conversation ensued about our holy Rebbes, the Etzei HaTemarim zy"a, and about the tzaddikim and kedoshim from whom the chasan draws his fine lineage, along with various recollections from the days of the holy Rebbe zy"a. The Rebbe drank a lechayim and warmly bestowed his holy blessings upon R' Yoel, the chasan, and the mechutanim.

From there at around 1:15 the Rebbe shlit"a went to comfort mourners at the home of the Deesh Rebbe shlit"a and his brothers, on the passing of their mother, a"h. At around 1:35 the Rebbe shlit"a left the house on his way home to his holy residence in Kiryas Joel.

Thursday, Parshas Bamidbar 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

During the Torah reading, the Rebbe was called up as shlishi, and after davening he learned the daily Tehillim shiur, on chapter 15, verse 4. Afterward, a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochur in the Rebbe's private room.

In the evening, the Rebbe shlit"a went to the home of R' Avrohom Meir Itzkovitch, where the siyum of writing the letters took place for the Sefer Torah being written by R' Avrohom Meir, which will be donated to the great beis medrash in Kiryas Joel. The Rebbe wrote in the letters, drank a lechayim and bestowed from his holy blessing.
