Friday, Parshas Re'eh — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in the Talmud Torah building, Binyan Klein, together with the students of grades 6, 7 and 8 of the branch of HaRav Shlomo Noach Heilbrun shlit"a. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim.

After davening a lechayim celebration took place in the hall of the beis medrash; the children sang several niggunim, and the Rebbe drank a lechayim and wished the bar mitzvah bochurim, the rebbeim and the children well.

During the morning hours, the students of the Yeshiva Ketana, Ahavas HaTorah branch, Williamsburg, under the direction of HaRav R' Moshe Shmuel Rotenberg shlit"a, came for a private visit to his holy home, where the Rebbe tested the bochurim for an extended time on Shulchan Aruch, the halachos of Birchas HaPeiros. Afterward the bochurim asked the Rebbe shlit"a questions on various matters that come up regularly, and the Rebbe answered each one appropriately. The Rebbe drank a lechayim, wished the bochurim well, and distributed to all the bochurim his sefer Lev Aharon on Devarim.

Thursday, Parshas Re'eh — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in the Heichal HaMesivta, Beirach Moshe branch. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim.

During the Torah reading the Rebbe went up for hagbah, and after davening he learned the daily Tehillim shiur, on chapter 18, verse 1. Afterward a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochurim in his private room.

After davening the Rebbe went over to Beis Medrash Avnei Tzedek, where a bris of a newborn son was taking place for R' Meir Eli Goldberger (Boro Park), at which the Rebbe served as sandek and mohel.

During the morning hours, HaGaon Rabbi Azriel Meir Kahn shlit"a, Av Beis Din of St. George, came for a private visit together with several rabbanim and dayanim of our holy kehilla.
A pleasant conversation took place regarding the beneficial activities for the kehilla 'Or Chadash D'Rabbeinu Yoel' in Guatemala, where the esteemed rabbanim shlit"a stand at the head of the kehilla. The Rebbe honored them with a lechayim and bestowed his holy blessings upon the esteemed rabbanim shlit"a and the askanim present.

In the afternoon at around 7:30 the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy home.

At around 8:20 the Rebbe shlit"a arrived at his holy home at the Ohel Court, where an appreciation celebration took place in the hall for a distinguished group of supporters of our holy institutions in Bnei Brak, together with the start of the writing of a Sefer Torah being written by members of our holy kehilla in Bnei Brak.
Several niggunim were sung, the Rebbe drank a lechayim and wished the entire gathering well, delivered words of holy inspiration and chizuk in honor of the occasion, and concluded with abundant blessings for the entire public.

Afterward the start of the writing of the Sefer Torah took place; niggunim of inspiration were sung, the Rebbe wrote in several letters, and then the Rebbe distributed his sefer of Torah novellae, Maharat Tov, to all the donors. It ended at around 8:50.

Afterward there were entry times to the Rebbe's inner chamber until 12:50 at night.

Wednesday, Parshas Re'eh — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

In the morning, before Shacharis, the brissim took place.
For the newborn son of R' Yaakov Yosha Schonbrun, where the Rebbe served as sandek and mohel.
For the newborn son of R' Yoel Shlomo Jacob, where the Rebbe served as sandek and mohel.

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in the Yeshiva Ketana "Sniff Hashiv Moshe," under the direction of HaRav R' Shimon Avrohom Rottah shlit"a.
Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochur, the bochur Nissim Saal.

After davening, a lechayim gathering took place in the heichal of the beis medrash. Several nigunim were sung, the Rebbe drank lechayim and extended his good wishes to all the bochurim, and the Rebbe said words of Torah and concluded with a blessing.

Afterwards the Rebbe went down to the students of the third, fourth and fifth grades, where the Rebbe entered several classrooms and looked over the learning.

From there the Rebbe went over to the home of HaRav R' Bentzion Klein, where a bris took place.
For the newborn son of R' Kalman Eliezer Klein, where the Rebbe served as sandek.
And for the newborn son of R' Dov Ber Polatschek (may he merit a long life), where the Rebbe served as sandek.

In the afternoon, at about 6:20, the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy home.

In the evening, the Rebbe shlit"a officiated at kiddushin at the chuppah of the following mechutanim.

Afterwards the Rebbe went to the home of HaRav R' Yechezkel Dovid Berkowitz in Kiryas Joel for the shidduch finalization of his daughter, the kallah tichyeh, to the chosson Azriel, son of R' Moshe Lipa Gutman. A pleasant conversation developed, the shidduch was concluded, and the Rebbe drank lechayim and wished the chosson and kallah and the distinguished mechutanim well.

Yechidus hours were from about 8:30 until 12:40 after midnight, in his holy home on Ohel Court.

During the yechidus hours, the completion of the writing of the letters of a Sefer Torah took place. It is being written by HaRav R' Shlomo Schonbrun and will be brought into the Divrei Chaim beis medrash this Shabbos. The Rebbe wrote in several letters, drank lechayim, and bestowed his holy blessings.

Also entering were the askanim and heads of "Keren Avrohom Yosef," under the auspices of Mivtzar HaKollelim, from which enormous sums are distributed annually to the mosdos of the holy Eida HaChareidis in Eretz Yisroel. A conversation developed about the many activities of the fund, where it was brought out that together with the other funds operating in several batei medrash throughout Kiryas Joel, close to a million dollars is distributed to the holy institutions. The Rebbe strongly encouraged the askanim and warmly extended his holy blessings.

The Rebbe davened Maariv at about 12:10. After Maariv, HaGaon HaTzaddik Rabbi Shmuel Binyamin Krausz shlit"a, president of Yeshivas Toras Chaim London, and may he have a refuah shleimah, entered the Rebbe's room. The Rebbe inquired about his well-being and warmly extended his holy blessings.

Tuesday, Parshas Re'eh — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

This morning, before Shacharis, a bris took place for the newborn son of R' Moshe Yehuda Eckstein, where the Rebbe served as sandek and mohel.

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in the Heichal HaMesivta, Etz Chaim branch, Shiur Gimmel. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochur, the bochur Yechezkel Shraga Honig.
After davening, the Rebbe recited the daily Tehillim portion, up to chapter 18, verse 1. Afterward, a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochur in the Rebbe's private room.

In the afternoon at around 6:20, the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy home.
After Mincha, the Rebbe went over to his holy home on Ohel Court, together with the Gaon HaAdir, the Av Beis Din shlit"a, where a lengthy meeting took place with the sellers and owners of the head-covering stores in the city. They discussed the matters on the agenda, and the Rebbe delivered words of holy guidance and direction at length. He established regulations, safeguards, and fences among the stores, and strongly urged them to adhere to the ways of tznius and not to sell in a way that would cause the righteous women to stumble in matters of tznius in such a holy city.

In the evening, the Rebbe shlit"a officiated at the kiddushin at the chuppah of the mechutanim R' Shmuel Mordechai Stein and R' Eli Spitzer, at Beis Rochel Paradise hall.

At around 8:30, the Rebbe shlit"a set out for Boro Park for the vort of his grandson, the chosson HaRav Yoel Teitelbaum shlit"a, son of the Gaon Tzaddik, Av Beis Din of Sighet shlit"a, which took place in the Skver hall in Boro Park.
The Rebbe arrived at around 10:15 and greeted the distinguished grandfathers and rabbanim shlit"a. The mechutanim, the Gaon Tzaddik, Av Beis Din of Sighet shlit"a, and HaGaon R' Shalom Halberstam shlit"a, took part in the proceedings. The Rebbe officiated at the tenaim. R' Moshe Glantzer and R' Chaim Yoshe Gelbstein, leaders of the Etz Chaim Sighet kehilla, served as witnesses on behalf of the chosson.

The Rebbe shlit"a delivered words of holy Torah about the simcha of a chosson and kallah, and concluded with abundant blessings for the chosson, the mechutanim, the grandfathers, and the entire assembly.
For the reading of the tenaim, the Rebbe honored the grandfather, the Nassoid Rebbe shlit"a. The Rebbe drank a lechayim and blessed the entire assembly. Joyous songs were sung, and the entire assembly came over to wish the Rebbe shlit"a mazel tov. The event ended at around 11:00, and on the way out the Rebbe went to wish the kallah mazel tov, as is customary.

From there, the Rebbe shlit"a went to our great beis medrash, where the Rebbe davened Maariv. Before Maariv, the Rebbe greeted the mashpia HaGaon R' Shimon Spitzer shlit"a of Eretz Yisroel, who had just finished his derasha in our great beis medrash, as is customary all summer, as part of the Torah shiurim of the summer days organized by the Agudas Avreichim of our holy kehilla.

After Maariv, the Rebbe went to console the mourners of the family of the Rebbetzin Margulies a"h, granddaughter of the Beis Etz Chaim zy"a, among them her brother, the Tzaddik R' Avrohom Chaim Halberstam shlit"a, Av Beis Din of Rudnik. A lengthy conversation took place about stories of her holy forebears of the house of Sighet, and the Rebbe offered the blessing of consolation. Afterward, the Rebbe traveled home to Kiryas Joel, to his holy home.
