Tuesday, Parshas Ki Seitzei — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in the Heichal HaMesivta, Eitz Chaim branch, third shiur.
After davening the Rebbe blew the shofar, followed by the daily Tehillim shiur on chapter 18, verse 18.

In the afternoon hours the Rebbe shlit"a traveled to Williamsburg for the weekly hours of entry.

Standing in the days of mercy and favor, the hours of entry to the Rebbe's room were from about 4:45 in the afternoon until 11:40 at night, at the Rebbe's holy home on Hewes Street, where hundreds of Yidden entered with kvitelach to be blessed with the Rebbe's blessing.

The Rebbe davened Mincha at about 8:30, and Maariv at about 10:15. Before Maariv the Rebbe lit 5 candles and went to the amud on the occasion of the hilula kadisha of his grandfather, the Yetev Lev zy"a.

After the hours of entry the Rebbe shlit"a traveled to Boro Park, to the Rachmistrivka beis medrash, to comfort the mourners, the Rachmistrivka Rebbes shlit"a, after the passing of their father, the Rachmistrivka Rebbe zt"l. A conversation took place and the Rebbe wished them words of consolation.
Afterwards the Rebbe traveled home to his holy home in Kiryas Joel.

Monday, Parshas Ki Seitzei — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in the Heichal HaMesivta, Divrei Yoel branch. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the following bar mitzvah bochurim:
The son of HaGaon R' Yeshaya Gedaliah Kaufman shlit"a, Dayan and Moreh Tzedek of Crawley, Williamsburg.
The bochur Asher Anshel Lichtenstein.
The bochur Yosha Ber Samet.
The bochur Chaim Nachum Fischer.
During the Torah reading the Rebbe went up for Hagbah, and after davening the shofar was blown, followed by the daily Tehillim shiur on chapter 18, verse 4. Afterwards a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochurim in the Rebbe's private room.

In the morning hours the Rebbe went on his weekly visit to the distinguished slaughterhouse.

The times of entry to the Rebbe's room (yechidus) were from about 6:00 in the evening until 12:30 at night, at the Rebbe's holy home on Ohel Street.

In the evening the Rebbe officiated at the kiddushin at the chuppah of the following mechutanim:
HaRav R' Hershel Goldberger shlit"a - HaRav R' Shmuel Moshe Friedman shlit"a, at Kinor David hall.
R' Mendel Meir Oesterreicher (of Boro Park) - R' Yoel Moshe Silberstein, at Beis Rachel Paradise hall.

The Rebbe shlit"a read the tenaim in his holy home for the mechutanim R' Azriel Meir Kohn (of Williamsburg) - R' Shalom Yosef Levinger.

During the hours of entry, the Zvehill Rebbe shlit"a came for a visit. A pleasant conversation developed about stories of tzaddikim; the Rebbe honored him with a lechayim and bestowed his holy blessings.

The Rebbe davened Mincha at about 8:30, and Maariv at about 12:30.

Motzei Shabbos, Parshas Shoftim — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

At around 12:15, a siyum on the writing of the letters for a Sefer Torah being written in memory of the bochur Mordechai Dov Panet a"h, one of the outstanding talmidim of Yeshivas Kinyan Torah of Monsey, took place in the Rebbe's holy home. The Sefer Torah was brought in to the yeshiva on Sunday. Present were the Gaon HaGadol, Av Beis Din of Kiryas Joel shlit"a, and the grandfather, HaRav HaTzaddik R' Chaim Elazar Weiss shlit"a of Chmelnik-Monsey. The Rebbe wrote in the letters, and honored the Gaon HaGadol, the Av Beis Din shlit"a, with writing a letter. A pleasant conversation developed with the rabbanim shlit"a, and the Rebbe warmly bestowed his holy blessings.

At around 1:30, the Rebbe shlit"a went over to the home of R' Yoel Brach, where a signing of documents took place for the purchase by R' Yoel of a share in the new heichal in the Mivtzar HaKollelim building in Kiryas Joel. A pleasant conversation developed about the growth of the Mivtzar HaKollelim, and about the spreading of Torah to students by the Yetev Lev zy"a. The Rebbe signed the documents together with the donor, drank a lechayim, and bestowed his holy blessings.

Sunday, Parshas Ki Seitzei

Early in the morning, before Shacharis, a bris took place for the newborn son of R' Kalman Eliezer Apfel, where the Rebbe served as sandek and mohel.

The Satmar Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis together with the talmidim of grades 6, 7 and 8 of the Rabbi Yoel Wertzberger shlit"a branch, in the Klein building.
Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim:
the bochur Chananya Hirsch.
the bochur Asher Anshel Herskowitz.

After davening, the Rebbe blew shofar, and then a lechayim gathering took place in the heichal of the beis medrash. Several niggunim and rhymes were sung. The Rebbe drank a lechayim and wished the bar mitzvah bochurim and all the children well, spoke words of inspiration about preparing for the holy days, and concluded with abundant blessings.

Times for entry to the Rebbe's chambers were from around 6:00 in the afternoon until 11:45 at night, in the Rebbe's holy home on Ohel Court.

At around 7:15, the Rebbe shlit"a went over to the Beis Medrash Ohel Feiga for the hachnasas sefer Torah donated by HaRav HaChassid R' Yaakov Yitzchak Stohl. The Rebbe took over the Sefer Torah, led the holy dancing, recited Ledovid Mizmor as is customary, and bestowed his holy blessings on the donor and family members.

The Rebbe davened Mincha at around 8:15, and after Mincha recited Kaddish on the yahrzeit of his grandmother, the Rebbetzin Hendel a"h, wife of the Gaon HaKadosh Rabbi Yisroel Yaakov Yokel of Volove zt"l, daughter of Maran the Gaon HaKadosh, the Yetev Lev zt"l.

At around 9:00, the Rebbe shlit"a went across from the Beis Medrash HaGadol, where the Rebbe participated in the levaya of the distinguished woman, the wife of HaRav HaChassid R' Avrohom Wieder, Rav and Mayor of Kiryas Joel yichyeh.

The Satmar Rebbe shlit"a read the tenaim in the tenaim hall in the Rebbe's holy home for the following mechutanim:
R' Chananya Shmuel Wertzberger - R' Yisroel Fisher.
HaRav Avrohom Yosef Friedman shlit"a (of Williamsburg) - R' Yoel Bickel.

The Rebbe davened Maariv at around 11:45.
