Friday, Parshas Ki Savo — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Satmar Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in the Heichal HaMesivta, Kedushas Yoel branch. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim.
The son of HaGaon Rabbi Kalman Halberstam shlit"a, Av Beis Din of Sanz, Kiryas Joel, and director of the yeshiva.

The Rebbe lit 5 candles in honor of the yahrzeit of his grandfather, HaGaon Rabbi Yisroel Yaakov Yukel of Valova zy"a, and after davening the shofar was blown.

After davening, a lechayim gathering took place in the Heichal of the beis medrash. Several niggunim were sung, and the Rebbe drank lechayim and wished the director shlit"a, the bar mitzvah bochurim and the talmidim of the yeshiva well. He also delivered words of Torah, bringing out that one must learn Torah with joy, and he urged them to make use of the remaining days of the month of Elul. He concluded with abundant blessings.

Thursday, Parshas Ki Savo — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Satmar Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in Heichal HaMesivta, the Beirach Moshe branch. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim.

During the Torah reading, the Rebbe went up for hagbah, and after davening he blew the shofar.

After Shacharis, the Rebbe went to the cemetery, where he participated in and delivered a eulogy at the levaya of R' Yosef Yakobs a"h. From there, the Rebbe went to console the mourner, R' Avrohom Mordechai Weber and family, on the passing of his son a"h.

Afterward, a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochurim in his holy home.

At 1:45 in the afternoon, the Rebbe shlit"a entered Heichal HaMesivta, the Veyoel Moshe branch, where the Rebbe delivered the fourth sugya shiur on the sugya of "matana al menas lehachzir," in preparation for the Shabbos Shuva derasha. It concluded at around 2:35.

The yechidus hours in the inner sanctum were from 6:20 in the evening until 12:30 at night, in his holy home on Ohel Court.

In the evening, the Rebbe shlit"a officiated at the kiddushin at the chuppah of the mechutanim R' Yosef Chaviv Bassul and R' Rachamim Avrohom Dana, at Beis Rachel Paradise hall.

The Rebbe shlit"a read the tenaim in the tenaim room in his holy home for the following mechutanim:

During the yechidus hours, the Nadvorna Beitar Rebbe shlit"a visited. A pleasant conversation took place; the Rebbe honored him with a lechayim and bestowed his holy blessings upon him.

The Zlatchov Netanya Rebbe shlit"a also visited. A pleasant conversation ensued, and the Rebbe bestowed his holy blessings upon him.

The Rebbe davened Mincha at around 8:15, and Maariv at around 12:30. Before Maariv, the Rebbe lit 5 candles and went to the amud and recited Kaddish on the occasion of the yahrzeit of his ancestor, the holy Rabbi Yisroel Yaakov Yokel of Volove zy"a.

Wednesday, Parshas Ki Savo — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

In the morning, before Shacharis, a bris took place for the newborn son of R' Moshe Shmuel Stein, where the Rebbe served as sandek.

The Satmar Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in Heichal HaMesivta, the Veyoel Moshe branch. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim.
The twins, sons of R' Avrohom Berger.

After davening, the Rebbe blew the shofar and recited the daily Tehillim shiur, on chapter 18, verse 22. Afterward, a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochurim in his private room.

At 1:50 in the afternoon, the Rebbe shlit"a entered Heichal HaMesivta, the Veyoel Moshe branch, where the Rebbe delivered the third sugya shiur on the sugya of "matana al menas lehachzir," in preparation for the Shabbos Shuva derasha. It concluded at around 2:40.

During the yechidus hours, the Kretchnif Yerushalayim Rebbe shlit"a came for a short visit. A pleasant conversation ensued, and the Rebbe bestowed his holy blessings upon him.

The Rebbe davened Mincha at around 8:10, and Maariv at around 12:15.

After Maariv, the Rebbe shlit"a went to the new location of Shlomi's Grocery in the Boruch Taam neighborhood in Kiryas Joel, under the ownership of R' Shlomo Neustadt, a member of the board of Mivtzar HaKollelim. The Rebbe looked around the store and then affixed a mezuzah on the main entrance. A lechayim gathering followed, with a pleasant conversation; the Rebbe drank lechayim and bestowed his holy blessings.

Tuesday, Parshas Ki Savo — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

Early in the morning, before Shacharis, the brisos took place.
For the newborn son of R' Hillel Fogel, where the Rebbe was sandek and mohel.
For the newborn son of R' Yehuda Berish Brach, where the Rebbe was sandek and mohel.
For the newborn son of R' Yoel Kaufman, where the Rebbe was sandek.

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in the Heichal HaMesivta, Sniff Etz Chaim, Shiur Gimmel.
After davening, the Rebbe blew the shofar and recited the daily Tehillim, the portion for chapter 18, verse 18.

After davening, the bochurim entered the Rebbe's private room in preparation for their trip to the holy places in Europe. The Rebbe distributed shlichus mitzvah money and bestowed his holy blessings.

At 1:45 in the afternoon, the Rebbe shlit"a entered the Heichal HaMesivta, Sniff Vayoel Moshe, where he delivered the second shiur on the sugya of 'Matana Al Menas L'hachzir' in preparation for the Shabbos Shuvah derasha. After the shiur, the Rebbe, as is his way, engaged in the fiery give-and-take of Torah with his devoted talmidim in the depth of the sugya for an extended time. It concluded at around 2:45.

In the afternoon, the Rebbe shlit"a traveled to Williamsburg for the weekly reception hours.
The reception hours in the Rebbe's private room were from around 4:30 in the afternoon until 11:15 at night, in his holy residence on Hooper St.

The Rebbe davened Mincha at around 8:15 and Maariv at around 10:30, and then continued receiving the public.

After the reception hours, at around 11:20, the Rebbe shlit"a went over to the new magnificent butcher shop of our holy kehilla and its mosdos on Myrtle Avenue in Williamsburg. Upon arrival, the Rebbe greeted the heads of the kehilla and mosdos and heard a report on the plans going forward. The Rebbe looked around at all the departments for an extended time and then affixed a mezuzah. He thanked and warmly blessed the askanim and the administration of the kehilla and mosdos: HaRav R' Avrohom Brach, rosh of the holy community and the mainstay of the businesses; HaRav R' Yechezkel Dovid Berkowitz, director of the mosdos; and he praised the noticeable, difficult toil of the askan HaRav R' Yoel Landau.

At around 11:50, the Rebbe traveled home to his holy residence in Kiryas Joel.

Monday, Parshas Ki Savo — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

In the morning, before Shacharis, the brissim took place.
For the newborn son of R' Shimon Spitzer, where the Rebbe served as sandek and mohel.
For the newborn son of R' Chaim Yisroel Levy, where the Rebbe served as sandek.

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in Heichal HaMesivta, Divrei Yoel branch. During the Torah reading the Rebbe was called up for shlishi, and after davening the shofar was blown, and the Rebbe delivered the daily Tehillim shiur on chapter 18, verse 24.

During the morning hours the Rebbe shlit"a went over to the building of the new mikvah tahara in Kiryas Joel, where a ceremony of pouring the foundations for several new pits took place. The Rebbe poured the pits and honored the donors of the pits, HaRav HaChasid R' Avrohom Yekusiel Yermiash and HaRav HaChasid R' Yechezkel Brach, to pour their pits. Afterwards a lechayim gathering took place, and a pleasant conversation developed with the rabbonim of the Vaad for Mikvah Affairs. The Rebbe drank a lechayim and warmly wished the donors well.

At 1:45 in the afternoon the Rebbe shlit"a entered Heichal HaMesivta, Vayoel Moshe branch, where the Rebbe delivered the first sugya shiur on the topic of "matanah al menas lehachazir," in preparation for the Shabbos Shuvah derasha. It ended at around 2:35.

During the yechidus hours, HaRav R' Yaakov Yosef, son of HaRav HaTzaddik R' Yitzchak Twersky shlit"a, grandson of the Skver Rebbe shlit"a, entered together with his son, the bar mitzvah bochur, to receive the Rebbe's blessing.

At around 10:45, HaRav HaChasid R' Dovid Eckstein of Eretz Yisroel entered together with HaRav HaGaon R' Yisroel Ber Stein shlit"a, a moreh tzedek of our kehilla in Williamsburg. The Rebbe shlit"a appointed him as av beis din of the new beis medrash being built by the leadership of our holy kehilla on Jewkow Street in the 'Divrei Yoel' neighborhood in Kiryas Joel, and bestowed upon him from his holy blessing to teach the word of Hashem and to increase and glorify Torah.

The Rebbe davened Mincha at around 8:20, and Maariv at around 12:15.

Sunday, Parshas Ki Savo — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

In the morning, before Shacharis, a bris took place for a newborn son of R' Yirmiyahu Mittelman, where the Rebbe served as sandek and mohel.

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in the Heichal HaMesivta, Sniff Vayoel Moshe. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochur, the bochur Avrohom Yoel Rubin.

After davening, the Rebbe blew shofar, and afterwards a lechayim took place with the bar mitzvah bochur in the Rebbe's private room.

At around 1:00, the Rebbe shlit"a traveled to Lindenwold, New Jersey, to the Chumash seudah with the first-grade talmidim of our holy mosdos, which took place in the hall of the magnificent building of the esteemed philanthropist R' Avrohom Brach, of Eretz Yisroel, who lives in Williamsburg, where the parents and grandfathers of the children were also present.
The children sang several nigunim and rhymes in honor of the occasion. HaGaon Rabbi Eliezer Mordechai Efraim Sofer shlit"a, rav of our holy kehilla, spoke, and the children recited the verses of Chumash Vayikra as is customary.
The Rebbe drank a lechayim, delivered words of Torah in honor of the occasion, and concluded with abundant brachos. Afterwards the Rebbe distributed a siddur to every child, and also distributed coins to the children of the older grades in our holy mosdos. It concluded at around 3:00.

After the Chumash seudah, the Rebbe shlit"a went to visit the new home of HaGaon, the rav of our kehilla shlit"a, and to affix a mezuzah. The Rebbe affixed the mezuzah, and afterwards a lechayim gathering took place. A pleasant conversation ensued, and the Rebbe warmly bestowed his holy brachos.

From there the Rebbe shlit"a went to the guest residence at the home of R' Yisroel Hartman. The Rebbe first drank a lechayim and bestowed his holy brachos upon the brothers, the distinguished R' Yisroel and R' Shmuel Hartman, among the leading supporters of our kehilla and mosdos in Lindenwold.

Afterwards, yechidus times were held at the guest residence in advance of the Days of Mercy and Favor, for the members of the Lindenwold community, who entered the Rebbe's room one by one to be remembered for salvation and mercy.

During the yechidus times, the Rebbes who came to visit the Rebbe were the Kalamayer Rebbe shlit"a, the Rachmistrivka-Lindenwold Rebbe shlit"a, and the Kosson Rebbe shlit"a. A pleasant conversation took place with each of the Rebbes shlit"a, and the Rebbe honored the Rebbes with a lechayim and bestowed his holy brachos.

After the yechidus times, at around 5:30, the Rebbe set out on the way home to his holy residence in Kiryas Joel.
