Thursday, Parshas Vayeitzei — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

In the morning, before Shacharis, a bris took place for the newborn son of R' Yoel Halpert, where the Rebbe served as sandek.

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in Heichal HaMesivta, Beirach Moshe branch. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochur Yoel Goldberger.
During the Torah reading, the Rebbe went up for hagbah, and after davening he delivered a shiur on a sugya in the yeshiva's shiurim. Afterward, a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochur in his private room.

In the afternoon at around 5:00, the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy home.

In the evening, the Rebbe shlit"a officiated at the kiddushin at the chuppahs of the following mechutanim:

For the newborn son of R' Yisroel Dovid Segedin, where the Rebbe served as sandek.

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in Heichal HaMesivta, Yoel Moshe branch. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim:
The bochur Yoel Shimon HaKohen Rubin.
The bochur Yoel Weiss.

After davening, the Rebbe delivered the daily Tehillim shiur on chapter 19, verse 2. Afterward, a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochurim in his private room.

In the afternoon, the Rebbe shlit"a went up to Heichal HaYeshiva, Yoel Moshe branch, where the Rebbe learned with a chavrusa from among the yeshiva students in his private room, and at 5:00 the Rebbe davened Mincha in the yeshiva.

Tuesday, Parshas Vayeitzei — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

Before Shacharis, the Rebbe shlit"a telephoned to visit the ill HaGaon HaGadol, zkan rashei hayeshivos, Rabbi Elyakim Schlesinger shlit"a, l'refuah shleimah, Rosh Yeshiva of Yeshivas HaRama in London. The Rebbe inquired about his welfare, asked after the state of his health, and warmly bestowed his holy blessings.

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in the Beis Medrash of the Maharsha in Kiryas Joel together with the talmidim of Yeshiva Gedolah Esek HaTorah of Monsey.
Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochur, the bochur Shlomo Yoel Kornbluh.

After davening, the Rebbe recited the daily Tehillim shiur, on chapter 18, verse 40, after which a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochur in the hall of the beis medrash.

In the morning hours, the Rebbe shlit"a visited the matzah bakery of Kiryas Joel, followed by the weekly visit to the mehudar slaughterhouse.

In the afternoon, the Rebbe shlit"a went up to the Yeshiva hall of the Kedushas Yoel branch, where the Rebbe learned with a chavrusa from among the talmidim of the yeshiva in his private room, and at around 5:00 the Rebbe davened Mincha in the yeshiva.

In the evening, the Rebbe shlit"a traveled to Williamsburg for the weekly yechidus hours.
The yechidus hours there ran from about 9:00 until 12:30 at night, at his holy residence on Hooper Street.

The Rebbe davened Maariv at around 11:30, and then continued receiving the public.

After the yechidus hours, the Rebbe shlit"a went over to the sheva brachos celebration for his grandson, the prominent askan R' Chaim Levi of Vienna, which took place at the home of the chasan's father-in-law, the mechutan HaRav HaChosid R' Yoel Frankel. A warm conversation developed about the uplifting Shabbos Shekalim last year, 'Shabbos Yeshiva Shel Maalah,' with the talmidim of the yeshivos in Europe and Eretz Yisroel in the city of Sighet, about which the Rebbe expressed, 'That was a Shabbos to remember!' The Rebbe drank a lechayim and bestowed his holy blessings upon the chasan and the mechutanim, and especially upon the two grandfathers, HaRav R' Chaim and HaRav R' Meir Stern, and then went out to dance with the chasan and the mechutanim.
At around 1:00 the Rebbe set out on the way home to his holy residence in Kiryas Joel.

The bochur Yechiel Alter Taub.
The bochur Eliezer Zusia Rosenberg (for the first time).

After davening, the Rebbe recited the daily Tehillim shiur, on chapter 18, verse 39. Afterwards, a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochurim in the Rebbe's private room.

In the afternoon, the Rebbe shlit"a went up to the Heichal HaYeshiva, Divrei Yoel branch, where the Rebbe learned in his private room, and at around 5:10 the Rebbe davened Mincha in the yeshiva.

During the yechidus hours, HaGaon HaTzaddik Rabbi Moshe Teitelbaum shlit"a, Rav of the Sasov Beis Shemesh kehilla and son of the Sasov Rebbe shlit"a, entered the Rebbe's room to receive a blessing in honor of the wedding of his son, the chassan, mazel tov. A pleasant conversation ensued, and the Rebbe bestowed his holy blessings upon him and upon his son, the chassan.

The Rebbe davened Maariv at around 11:30.
