Wednesday, Parshas Vaera — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in Heichal HaMesivta, the Vyoel Moshe branch. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim.

After davening, the Rebbe recited the daily Tehillim shiur, on chapter 19, verse 12, after which a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochurim in his private room.
Also entering were the bochurim gabbaim of the chaburah 'Lecha Dumiyah Tehillah' with a general kvitel from a large number of bochurim who have taken upon themselves not to talk during davening. The Rebbe looked over the list and bestowed his holy blessing.

In the afternoon, the Rebbe shlit"a went up to Heichal HaYeshiva, the Vyoel Moshe branch, where the Rebbe learned with a chavrusa from among the talmidim in his private room. At around 5:20, the Rebbe davened Mincha in the yeshiva.

The reception hours lasted from around 8:30 until 12:45 at night, in his holy home on Ohel Court.

The Rebbe shlit"a read the tenaim in the tenaim hall in his holy home for the following mechutanim.

Tuesday, Parshas Vaera — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

This morning, before Shacharis, a bris was held for the newborn son of R' Meir Steinmetz, at which the Rebbe served as sandek and mohel.

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in Heichal HaMesivta, the Etz Chaim branch - Shiur Gimmel. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim.

After davening, the Rebbe recited the daily Tehillim shiur, on chapter 19, verse 12, after which a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochurim in the Heichal HaBeis Medrash.

In the morning hours, the Rebbe went on his weekly visit to the mehudar slaughterhouse.

In the afternoon, at around 5:20, the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy home.

In the evening, the Rebbe shlit"a traveled into Williamsburg for the weekly reception hours.
Upon arriving in Williamsburg at around 8:40, the Rebbe shlit"a went to the 'Chanukas HaBayis and Kevias Mezuzah' ceremony for the new premises of the Beis Din of our holy kehilla. The Rebbe looked around and then affixed the mezuzah on the main entrance.
The Rebbe honored HaGaon Rabbi, the Av Beis Din, shlit"a, to speak a few words. The Rebbe then drank a lechayim and offered blessings to the esteemed dayanim and morei hora'ah, and delivered holy words expressing the great joy at the opening of such a beautiful place for judging and rendering halachic rulings. He wished the dayanim and morei tzedek siyata d'Shmaya in all areas of Torah, that no stumbling block should come from their hands, and concluded with his holy blessing especially for the bearers of the burden and the esteemed askanim of the Beis Din.

The reception hours in Williamsburg lasted from around 9:00 until 1:15 at night, in his holy home on Hewes St.

During the reception hours, HaRav R' Chaim Aharon Ungar shlit"a, dayan of our kehilla's beis medrash in South 8th, entered together with the askanim of the new beis medrash building, to receive his holy blessing on the occasion of the start of the campaign. The Rebbe heard a report and reviewed the plans of the intensive construction work on the magnificent new beis medrash building, and bestowed his holy blessing.

Also entering was HaGaon R' Hersh Elimelech Teitelbaum shlit"a, Rav of our Beis Medrash Tefilla L'Moshe in Boro Park, together with the beis medrash administration, to receive the holy blessing on the occasion of the beis medrash fundraising campaign. The Rebbe heard a report on the further plans to expand the beis medrash, particularly the renovation of the mikvah, and bestowed his holy blessing.

Also entering were the heads of the chaburos and the board members of our kollel, 'Kollel Divrei Yoel' of Boro Park, to receive the holy blessing and to invite the Rebbe shlit"a to the grand 'Torah L'Hadrah' event for the benefit of the kollel, together with the siyumim on areas of Torah, which will take place Thursday in the Lipschitz Hall in Boro Park.

There was a brief visit from HaGaon Rabbi Nachum Aryeh Safrin shlit"a, the Komarna Rebbe of Yerushalayim and president of Machon Pesach HaHeichal. A warm conversation ensued, and the Rebbe bestowed his blessing upon him.

The Rebbe davened Maariv at around 10:30, and then continued receiving the public.
