Wednesday, Parshas Tetzaveh — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

In the morning, before Shacharis, a bris of a newborn son took place for R' Yoel Efraim Fishel Fried, at which the Rebbe served as sandek and mohel.

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in the heichal of the Mesivta, Vyoel Moshe branch. After davening, the Rebbe learned the daily Tehillim shiur, on chapter 19, verse 10.

In the afternoon hours, the Rebbe shlit"a received a visit in Williamsburg from his brother-in-law, HaGaon Rabbi Menachem Ernster shlit"a, rosh yeshiva of Yeshivas Vizhnitz in Boro Park, who came to comfort him on the passing of his Rebbetzin, the righteous woman, may she live. A pleasant conversation took place; the Rebbe honored him with a lechayim and bestowed his holy blessing.

The Rebbe of Shevet HaLevi shlit"a of Eretz Yisroel also visited. A pleasant conversation ensued, and the Rebbe bestowed his holy blessing upon him.

In the afternoon, at around 6:00, the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy home.

In the evening, the Rebbe shlit"a officiated at the kiddushin at the chuppah of the following mechutanim.
R' Meir Moshe Spitzer - R' Yosef Kadish Filipp, at Kinor Dovid hall.
R' Yosef Eliyahu Lebowitz (of Boro Park) - R' Wolf Mendlowitz, at Beis Rachel Paradise hall.

The reception hours in Williamsburg took place from around 8:00 until 1:30 at night, in the Rebbe's holy home on Ohel Ct.

During the reception hours, a signing of pledges took place, at which R' Moshe Goldstein added a huge sum and purchased the merit of naming the newly built wing of our beis medrash, "Beis Medrash Beis Shmuel" in the Divrei Chaim neighborhood. HaGaon Rabbi Yoel Halberstam shlit"a, rav of the beis medrash, was present. The Rebbe signed the pledges together with the donor, drank a lechayim and bestowed his holy blessings.

HaGaon Rabbi Shlomo Rubin shlit"a, Av Beis Din of Ciechanow in Kiryas Joel, also entered together with his son, the chosson, to receive the Rebbe's holy blessing and to invite him to the wedding. The Rebbe shlit"a will participate in the simcha of the wedding of the chosson, his son, which will take place this coming Tuesday, Parshas Ki Sisa, in Boro Park.

The Rebbe shlit"a read the tenaim in his holy home for the mechutanim R' Nissim Saal - R' Raphael Dovid Jabra.

The Rebbe davened Maariv at around 12:00, and then continued receiving the public.

Tuesday, Parshas Tetzaveh — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Satmar Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in the Noam Elimelech Lizhensk beis medrash together with the talmidim of the Yeshiva Gedolah, Esek HaTorah branch in Monsey. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochur, the bochur Meir Dovid Mordechai Glantz.

After davening, the Rebbe learned the daily Tehillim shiur, on chapter 19, verse 9. Afterwards, a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochur in the heichal of the beis medrash.

During the morning hours, the Rebbe went on his weekly visit to the kehilla's mehudar bakery.
The Rebbe shlit"a also phoned to comfort his brother-in-law, the Vizhnitz Rebbe of Eretz Yisroel shlit"a, who is sitting shiva for the passing of the Rebbetzin of Skver a"h.

In the afternoon, at around 6:00, the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy home.

In the evening, the Rebbe shlit"a traveled to Williamsburg for the weekly reception hours.
On the way, the Rebbe shlit"a stopped in Manhattan at Mount Sinai Hospital, where the Rebbe went up for a bikur cholim visit to his friend, the great HaGaon, the Av Beis Din of Kiryas Joel shlit"a, who, Baruch Hashem, was released from the hospital yesterday, Wednesday. A pleasant conversation ensued, and the Rebbe warmly bestowed his holy blessings for a complete recovery and that he be renewed like the eagle in his youth.

The reception hours in Williamsburg took place from around 8:45 until 12:00 at night, in the Rebbe's holy home on Hewes St.

During the reception hours, the beginning of the writing of a Sefer Torah took place, written by the sofer, R' Aharon Hersh Mittelman, chairman of Keren Melamdim. The Rebbe examined the beautiful script of the sofer, wrote in the letters, drank a lechayim and bestowed his holy blessings upon R' Aharon Tzvi and his whole family shlit"a.

The Rebbe davened Maariv at around 11:15, and then continued receiving the public.

Monday, Parshas Tetzaveh — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

In the morning, before Shacharis, a bris took place for a newborn son of R' Avrohom Hersh Gelbstein, at which the Rebbe served as sandek.

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in the Heichal HaMesivta, Divrei Yoel branch. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim:
The son of HaGaon R' Yitzchak Eizik Fuchs shlit"a - Moreh Tzedek.
The bochur Avrohom Hecht.
The bochur Yechezkel Berger.
The bochur Moshe Sorkis.
During the Torah reading, the Rebbe went up for Hagbah, and after davening he recited the daily Tehillim shiur, on chapter 19, verse 8. Afterward, a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochurim in the Rebbe's private room.

In the afternoon, at about 3:50, the Rebbe shlit"a went to the halls of Ginas Klein for the annual "Yom HaIchud" of the nearly one thousand talmidim of the ninth-grade Mechina L'Yeshiva of our holy mosdos from across Greater New York. Several nigunim were sung, and one of the bochurim sang rhymed verses. Afterward, the menahalim presented the Rebbe shlit"a with a minchas bikkurim, a comprehensive kvitel with the names of all the bochurim, together with the thousands of consecutive hours that were learned during the Yemei HaShovavim.
The Rebbe shlit"a delivered holy words of guidance and chizuk for learning Torah, and how a Chassidic bochur should conduct himself, and concluded with his holy blessing.

Afterward, the Rebbe davened Mincha together with the bochurim. After Mincha, the Rebbe went into a side room where he distributed holy coins to the bochurim who had learned the consecutive hours. It concluded at about 5:15.

In the evening, the Rebbe shlit"a officiated at the kiddushin at the chuppah of the following mechutanim:
R' Yoshe Yuda Friedman (of Williamsburg) - R' Moshe Yitzchak Silberstein, at Kinor David hall.
HaRav R' Yisroel Yuda Wertzberger shlit"a - R' Yoshe Wolf Mittelman, at Beis Rachel Paradise hall.

The Rebbe davened Maariv at about 8:50 in his holy home.

At about 9:10, the Rebbe shlit"a went to the halls of Keren V'Yoel Moshe for the Sheva Brachos celebration in our holy courts, arranged by the Rebbe shlit"a, to which the diligent Torah scholars, the learners of our kollelim from across Greater New York who have been in the tent of Torah for over eighteen years, were specially invited.
The Rebbe washed for the seudah. During the Sheva Brachos, several Torah scholars from the kollelim asked the Rebbe shlit"a various questions of guidance and matters pertaining to Torah learners, past and present, to which the Rebbe replied and spoke at length with good reason and insight. Afterward, the Rebbe delivered holy words in a drasha on the topics of the joy of chassan and kallah, highlighting the importance of Torah learners and their households, and bestowed abundant blessings upon the entire assembly.
Afterward, the Rebbe stood up and danced for an extended time. For Birkas Hamazon, the Rebbe honored the Av Beis Din, HaGaon HaTzaddik, Rav of the Beis HaMedrash Avnei Tzedek shlit"a. The first blessings were recited by HaGaon R' Avrohom Shalom Friedman shlit"a, one of the heads of Mivtzar HaKollelim in Kiryas Joel, and the final blessing by HaGaon HaTzaddik R' Naftali Hirtzka Zwibel shlit"a, Rosh Av Beis Din of Williamsburg. It concluded at about 11:30.

Afterward, in his holy home, a meeting took place with the leadership of Agudas HaSofrim regarding the recent problems with computerized checking of Torah scrolls, and the plans and services that Agudas HaSofrim will provide to the public in this area. The Rebbe went over all the details with them for an extended time and bestowed his holy blessing that no stumbling block should come out from under their hands.
