with the kalla tichye, daughter of HaGaon HaTzaddik R' Shalom Halberstam shlit"a (Boro Park), son of HaGaon HaTzaddik R' Berel Halberstam zt"l of Bardiov-Dambrov, and grandson-in-law of the Nassoid Rebbe shlit"a.

At 4:45 in the afternoon, the Rebbe shlit"a will enter for Mincha in the Beis Medrash HaGadol in Williamsburg, and afterward the public will pass by in a line to offer blessings on the day of the chuppah. Immediately afterward, the Rebbe shlit"a will appear at the reception in the Beis Medrash HaGadol. The chuppah will take place in front of the Beis Medrash HaGadol, and the Rebbe will appear immediately after the chuppah. Birkas Hamazon will be at 11:00, and afterward the Rebbe shlit"a will dance the exalted mitzvah dance.

Sunday, Parshas Ki Sisa — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in the Beis Medrash HaGadol. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim.

After davening, a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochurim in the Rebbe's private room.

After Shacharis, at around 12:00, the Rebbe arrived at the kever of our holy Rebbes zy"a on the occasion of the wedding simcha in our holy courts, taking place today, Monday, in the Beis Medrash HaGadol in Williamsburg. Upon arriving at the cemetery, the Rebbe recited the brocha. The Rebbe lit 5 candles at the kevarim of the Divrei Yoel and the Beirach Moshe zy"a, and at the kever of his mother, the Rebbetzin a"h. The Rebbe recited the tefilla of the Yismach Moshe zy"a and, as is customary, recited the chapters of the fourth book of Tehillim aloud. Afterward, the Rebbe said Kaddish and read kvitelach for an extended time while inspiring melodies were sung. Then the Rebbe prostrated himself on the kevarim of our holy Rebbes and of his mother, the Rebbetzin a"h. They concluded at around 1:00.

In the afternoon, the Rebbe shlit"a went up to the Heichal HaYeshiva, Divrei Yoel branch, where the Rebbe learned with a chavrusa from among the yeshiva's talmidim in his private room. At around 6:00, the Rebbe davened Mincha in the yeshiva.

In the evening, the Rebbe shlit"a officiated at the kiddushin at the chuppah of the mechutanim R' Moshe Shlomo Kalish (Monsey) and R' Baruch Yehuda Dresdner, at the Beis Rochel Paradise hall.

Entry times to the Rebbe's home were from around 7:50 until 12:15 at night, at his holy residence on Ohel Court.

The Rebbe shlit"a read the tenaim at the tenaim held at his holy residence, of the mechutanim R' Avrohom Shmuel Eliezer Gandel and R' Elchanan Shlomo Zalman Schwartz.

The Rebbe davened Maariv at around 11:40 and then continued receiving the public.

Shabbos Kodesh, Parshas Tetzaveh — A Shabbos of Joy, the Shabbos Aliyah L'Torah of the Chosson, Grandson of the Rebbe, HaRav Yoel Teitelbaum shlit"a, Son of HaGaon Rabbi, Av Beis Din of Sighet shlit"a — in Our Holy Kehilla in Williamsburg

On Erev Shabbos, after candle-lighting time, the Rebbe put the shtreimel on his grandson, the chosson HaRav Yoel Teitelbaum shlit"a, and the Rebbe went to the beis medrash with the chosson and the mechutanim, accompanied with song and music.

At about 6:05 the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a entered the beis medrash wrapped in his tallis and approached the amud for Mincha. Kabbalas Shabbos: HaGaon Rabbi, Rav of the Beis Medrash Beis Baruch shlit"a.
Davening ended at about 7:40, the congregation went over to wish a gut Shabbos, and the Rebbe entered his private room.

At about 10:15 the Rebbe shlit"a entered the seudah in the hall of the beis medrash and began, as is his custom, with Shalom Aleichem, with feeling and sweetness.

The Rebbe shlit"a said Torah on the verse "V'nishma kolo b'voo el hakodesh" and expounded in the manner of a derush on the sugya of the claim of "moda'a."

A few minutes after davening the Rebbe shlit"a entered Heichal Meir Zelig for the Kiddusha Rabbah celebration in honor of the aliyah l'Torah simcha. The Rebbe made Kiddush, joyous melodies were sung, and HaGaon Rabbi, Av Beis Din of Sighet shlit"a spoke.
The Rebbe drank lechayim and warmly wished the chosson, the mechutanim, and the entire gathering well, and delivered divrei Torah on the verse "V'yikchu eilecha shemen zayis zach," explaining that in order for the Avos to come down from the upper world to simchas, one must conduct oneself as is fitting, that it be "pure olive oil" without dregs, so that the grandfathers not be pained, and he concluded with his holy blessing. It ended at about 12:45.

Shalosh Seudos

For Mincha and Shalosh Seudos the Rebbe entered the beis medrash at about 6:15. Mincha: HaRav HaChashuv R' Eliyahu Moshe Roth. Baal Koreh: HaRav HaChashuv R' Chaim Heller. Kohen: HaRav Yeshayahu Yitzchak Rubin shlit"a. Levi: HaRav HaChashuv R' Mendel Klagsbrun. Shlishi: HaRav HaChashuv R' Mechel Freund. Hagbah: the Rebbe shlit"a. Gelilah: HaRav HaChashuv R' Lipa Friedman.

During Shalosh Seudos the Rebbe honored zemiros. Odeh: HaRav HaChashuv R' Meir Hirsch (Kiryas Joel). Shir HaMaalos: HaRav HaChashuv R' Eliezer Low.
The Rebbe shlit"a said Torah on the verse "V'atah tetzaveh es Bnei Yisroel" and explained that in order for teshuva to be accepted, it must go together with Torah and tefillah, properly and fittingly, before the Master of all.

Yedid Nefesh: HaRav HaChashuv R' Eizik Hersh Berkowitz. Kel Mistater: HaRav HaChashuv R' Yechiel Michel Friedman. Shoshanas Yaakov: HaRav HaChashuv R' Avrohom Shmuel Pfeiffer. They continued with melodies in honor of the simcha. The Rebbe blessed over the cup and recited Sheva Brachos.

Maariv Motzei Shabbos: HaRav HaChashuv R' Dovid Shimon Pramowitz. After Havdalah the congregation went over to wish a gutte voch. It ended at about 8:40.

At the Rebbe's holy home there was a visit from the Rachmistrivka Rebbe of Williamsburg shlit"a, with his family. A pleasant conversation took place about stories and accounts of the tzaddikim of the Chernobyl dynasty and the persecutions the government inflicted on the tzaddikim. The Rebbe honored him with lechayim and bestowed his holy blessing in honor of the Rachmistrivka Rebbe's acceptance as Rebbe in Williamsburg.

At about 10:40 the Rebbe shlit"a arrived in Boro Park at our beis medrash Kedushas Yom Tov for the Sheva Brachos simcha arranged by the mispallelim of the beis medrash in his honor, by the Rav of the beis medrash, HaGaon R' Alter Eliezer Horowitz shlit"a. HaRav HaChashuv R' Nachman Levy spoke with words of badchanus.
The Rebbe drank lechayim and warmly wished the chosson, the mechutanim, and the entire gathering well, and then began dancing with the chosson and mechutanim. On his way out the Rebbe greeted his grandfather, the Kiviashd Rebbe shlit"a, who had just arrived at that time.

From there the Rebbe shlit"a set out for Shikun Skvira to comfort mourners at his brother-in-law, the Skverer Rebbe shlit"a. The Rebbe arrived at about 12:20 at the Beis Medrash HaGadol in Shikun Skvira, a conversation took place with stories of tzaddikim, and at about 12:45 the Rebbe traveled home to his holy residence in Kiryas Joel.

Thursday, Parshas Tetzaveh — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

This morning, before Shacharis, the brissim took place.
For the newborn son of HaGaon Rabbi R' Efraim Fishel Berkowitz shlit"a, a member of the Beis Din, where the Rebbe was the sandek.
For the newborn son of R' Shmuel Meir Deutsch, where the Rebbe was the sandek and the mohel.

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in the Heichal of the Mesivta, Beirach Moshe branch. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim.
The bochur Chananya Yom Tov Lipa Gross.
The bochur Yoel Rubin.
During the Torah reading, the Rebbe went up for hagbah, and after davening he learned the daily Tehillim shiur, on chapter 19, verse 10. Afterwards a lechayim took place with the bar mitzvah bochurim in his private room.

In the afternoon hours, the president of Mount Sinai Hospital, David Reich, came to the Rebbe's holy home. He came to be menachem avel the Rebbetzin tichye, who maintains a close relationship with the president in helping the Jewish sick. He came together with the heads of Hatzolah of Kiryas Joel and Williamsburg and several other askanim involved in medical matters. Various matters for the benefit of the Jewish sick were discussed, and the Rebbe thanked the president for his great assistance on behalf of the Jewish sick.

In the afternoon, around 6:15, the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy home.

In the evening, the Rebbe shlit"a officiated at the kiddushin at the chuppah of the following mechutanim.

The Rebbe davened Maariv around 8:45 in his holy home.

Around 9:10 the Rebbe shlit"a entered the main beis medrash for the tish in honor of Purim Katan, with drums and dancing, in the presence of thousands of anash. The Rebbe danced in the middle of the floor for several minutes, and afterwards washed for the seudah in honor of the day.
During the seudah, there was an extended period of songs and praises, joyfully and gladly, with stirring melodies and melodies of joy and dancing. After the fish, the Rebbe wished a lechayim to the entire gathering, and made a siyum on Maseches Chullin, which had been learned as part of the "Toraschah Sha'ashuai" chavrusa, and then said Kaddish, and they continued with Simchas Torah melodies.

During the tish, the Rebbe delivered divrei Torah three times.
The first dvar Torah was on the verse "And when she came before the king, he said with the book," and he explained that in the merit of Avrohom Avinu not asking any questions at the Akeidah, Hashem likewise does not ask any questions about Klal Yisroel, and in that merit the miracle of Purim took place. He brought out that "there is no difference between the first Adar and the second Adar except for the reading of the Megillah alone," and therefore all the influences of Purim Katan descend just as they do in the second Adar. He concluded with many blessings.

The second dvar Torah was on the verse "And Vashti, according to the law, was in distress," and he explained it homiletically in honor of the day, and brought out that Hashem is obligated to provide all the obligations of a husband to a wife, to heal her and redeem her, and so on. Then he spoke about the simcha of the members of the "Toraschah Sha'ashuai" chavrusa who completed Maseches Chullin, and who are preparing to complete all of Shas soon. He brought out the great preparation one must make for a Yom Tov, and encouraged learning the holy sefer Kedushas Levi on Purim, just as it was learned before Chanukah.
At that point the Rebbe honored the singers to sing the melody "Ani Chomah" of the holy Kedushas Levi zy"a.
After the singing, the Rebbe continued about the avodah that tzaddikim had with the power of song, as was seen with the Yetev Lev zy"a, who took the holy melody of the Kedushas Levi zy"a and set it to the words "and so he would count the day" in the Yom Kippur avodah. The same was seen with the holy Divrei Yoel zy"a, who would hum holy tunes at various times. The Rebbe expressed his pain that today holy melodies are taken and coarsened, and sung wildly and in a gentile fashion. He asked R' Amram Acker, head of the singers, to explain to the gathering the difference between singing a melody in a proper way and in a gentile way, and several melodies were played, sung both ways.
The Rebbe concluded saying, "If there is no knowledge, how can there be havdalah?" But when one does know, one must be careful to maintain the distinction in every way, both in dress and in music, and he concluded with a holy blessing.
For the third dvar Torah, the Rebbe told a story that the holy Chozeh of Lublin zy"a once wanted to say Torah on Friday night and Shabbos morning, but said that he was not being allowed to say it, and at Shalosh Seudos he did say it. He explained the verse "And you shall make settings of gold," that one should make little boxes of gold for Jewish children, and he wished abundant blessing upon the gathering. The Rebbe explained that the third seudah corresponds to Yaakov Avinu, who received the blessing to provide sustenance, and therefore the Rebbe of Lublin was able to provide sustenance at Shalosh Seudos. The Arizal says that Mordechai HaTzaddik was a reincarnation of Yaakov Avinu, so on Purim Mordechai HaTzaddik surely provides great abundance to each and every person. The Rebbe honored all those named Yaakov to come up to the tish and collect money for an important hachnasas kallah cause, and then concluded with abundant blessings to the entire gathering.

Afterwards, a Purim shpiel with humor took place, presented by R' Yaakov Hersh Zinn and R' Yosef Meir Saal.
For Birkas Hamazon, the Rebbe honored HaGaon Rabbi R' Yaakov Weiss shlit"a, one of the rabbonim of our kehilla in Monsey. It ended around 12:00, and the Rebbe shlit"a was escorted out with song and music.
