Tonight the great wedding celebration takes place in our holy courts: the chosen bochur, HaRav Meir Eliezer shlit"a, son of the Rebbe's son-in-law, HaGaon Rabbi Rav Dbeis Medrash Berach Moshe shlit"a, son of the Gaon, Av Beis Din of Volove shlit"a.
With the kallah, daughter of R' Yechiel Shraga Greenfeld shlit"a, Rosh Av Beis Din of Semihai shlit"a, and granddaughter of R' Moshe shlit"a, Av Beis Din of Semihai, and the chasan of HaGaon R' Zusha Beer shlit"a, the Rebbe of Ratzfert.

At 4:45 in the afternoon the Rebbe shlit"a will enter for Mincha davening in the Beis Medrash HaGadol of Kiryas Joel, and afterwards the public will pass by in a line to receive a bracha on the day of the chuppah. Immediately afterwards the Rebbe shlit"a will appear for the kabbalas panim ceremony in the Beis Medrash HaGadol. The chuppah will take place in front of the Beis Medrash HaGadol, with the Rebbe's appearance immediately after the chuppah. Birkas Hamazon will be at 11:00, and afterwards the Rebbe shlit"a will dance the mitzvah tantz.

Thursday, Parshas Vayakhel, "B'tzeil HaKodesh" with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in Heichal HaMesivta, the Beirach Moshe branch. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim:
The bochur Kalman Eliezer Eckstein.
The bochur Yoel Frankel.
The bochur Meir Falkowitz.
During the Torah reading the Rebbe went to hagbah, and after davening he recited the daily Tehillim shiur on chapter 19, verse 12. Afterwards a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochurim in his private room.

After Shacharis, at around 12:25, the Rebbe arrived at the kevarim of our holy Rebbes zy"a on the occasion of the wedding simcha in our holy courts this coming Sunday, Parshas Pekudei, in the Beis Medrash HaGadol in Kiryas Joel. The Rebbe lit 5 candles at the kevarim of the Rebbe, the Divrei Yoel, and the Beirach Moshe zy"a, and at the kever of his mother the Rebbetzin a"h. The Rebbe recited the prayer of the Yismach Moshe zy"a and recited the chapters of the fourth book of Tehillim as is customary. Then the Rebbe said Kaddish and read kvitelach for an extended time while inspiring melodies were sung. Afterwards the Rebbe prostrated himself at the kevarim of our holy Rebbes and of his mother the Rebbetzin a"h. It concluded at around 1:10.

At midday, around 1:35, a gathering took place in Kiryas Joel in his holy home with the rabbonim of the OU, among them Rabbi Menachem Genack shlit"a and Rabbi Moshe Elefant shlit"a, and the chairman of the OU organization, Rabbi Neuberger of Baltimore, and Rabbi Binyomin Aryeh Glick, one of the active members of the OU's Vaad HaKashrus, together with the administration and the rabbonim of the "Agudas HaSofrim" in Kiryas Joel, to work out with the Rebbe shlit"a a course of action regarding the problems of forgeries and invalid items in all matters of sTa"m, and especially mezuzos, and regarding the new methods of computer checking, the awareness efforts that must be undertaken so that everyone buys directly from the sofer and not through dealers, and regarding the possibility of providing excellent supervision over female scribes. They discussed all the details for an extended time. The rabbonim presented the Rebbe with their sefarim, and the Rebbe gave the rabbonim his sefer Lev Aharon on Vayikra, Aggadah and Drushim, and bestowed his holy blessings.

After the gathering, at about 2:45, the Rebbe shlit"a invited the rabbonim to join him on a visit to the new mikvah building of Kiryas Joel, where the Rebbe pointed out for an extended time the many hiddurim and chumros with which the mikvah was built.

In the afternoon, around 6:30, the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy home.

Entry times in Kiryas Joel were from around 8:45 until 11:50 at night, in his holy home on Uhel Court.

Wednesday, Parshas Vayakhel — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Satmar Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in the Heichal HaMesivta, V'Yoel Moshe branch. After davening, the Rebbe recited the daily Tehillim shiur, on chapter 19, verse 12.
In his private room, the Rebbe distributed coins to the bochurim who learned for extended unbroken hours during the days of Shovavim, may they be renewed for good.

In the afternoon the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a went up to the Heichal HaYeshiva, Divrei Yoel branch, where the Rebbe learned with a chavrusa from among the talmidim of the yeshiva in his private room. At around 5:45 the Rebbe davened Mincha in the yeshiva.

In the evening, at around 7:50, the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a went over to the home of HaGaon HaGadol the Dayan shlit"a for a bikur cholim visit after his return home from the hospital. A lengthy conversation took place in divrei Torah, and they discussed various questions that had recently arisen according to halacha. The Dayan shlit"a honored the Rebbe with a lechayim, and the Rebbe warmly blessed him with his holy bracha.

The reception hours in Kiryas Joel took place from around 8:15 until 1:10 at night, in his holy home on Ohel Ct.

Tuesday, Parshas Vayakhel — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Satmar Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in the Heichal HaMesivta, Eitz Chaim branch, Shiur Gimmel. Before davening, the Rebbe put on tefillin for the bar mitzvah bochur the bochur Yisroel Shlomo Wertzberger.
After davening, the Rebbe recited the daily Tehillim shiur, on chapter 19, verse 10. Afterwards a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochur in the Heichal of the beis medrash, at which the bochur Avrohom Yitzchak son of R' Yuda Traitel Frankel, one of the talmidim of the yeshiva, made a siyum on a masechta and completed Seder Moed, and the Rebbe blessed him with his holy bracha.

In the afternoon the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a went up to the Heichal HaYeshiva, Beirach Moshe branch, where the Rebbe learned with a chavrusa from among the talmidim of the yeshiva in his private room. At around 5:45 the Rebbe davened Mincha in the yeshiva.

In the evening the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a traveled into Williamsburg for the weekly reception hours.
The reception hours in Kiryas Joel took place from around 8:15 until 11:40 at night, in his holy home on Hughes St.

During the reception hours, visiting in Kiryas Joel were HaGaon HaTzaddik, the Av Beis Din of London shlit"a, and HaGaon Rabbi Avrohom Tzvi Friedman shlit"a, Dayan and Moreh Tzedek of Galanta and author of Otzar Halachos. A fine conversation developed about the history of yeshivos in earlier times and today, and about the new yeshiva gedola of our kehilla in London, which will IY"H be opened this coming summer. Afterwards the Rabbi of London raised several halachic questions, on which the Rebbe deliberated and ruled. The Rebbe blessed them with his holy brachos, and HaGaon the Dayan of Galanta shlit"a presented the Rebbe with the new volumes of his sefer Otzar Halachos.

The Rebbe davened Maariv at around 9:40 and afterwards continued receiving the public.

After the reception hours, the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a traveled to Sighet to be menachem avel the family of his mechutan, the Rebbe HaGaon HaTzaddik, the Av Beis Din of Sighet zt"l. The Rebbe arrived at the beis medrash Kehal Yereim Sighet at around 12:15. A lengthy conversation took place about stories of tzaddikim of the House of Sighet and about various customs of aveilus. The Rebbe comforted the son-in-law of the deceased, HaGaon the Rav of the Beis Medrash Yismach Moshe shlit"a, and the entire family.
At around 1:00 the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a returned to his holy home in Kiryas Joel.

Monday, Parshas Vayakhel — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

In the morning, before Shacharis, a bris was held for the newborn son of R' Avrohom Yaakov Moskowitz, at which the Rebbe served as sandek and mohel.

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in the Heichal HaMesivta, Divrei Yoel branch. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim.
The bochur Yoel Berger, son of R' Dovid Shlomo.
The bochur Nachum Schwartz.
During the Torah reading the Rebbe went to hagbah, and after davening he studied the daily Tehillim shiur, on chapter 19, verse 12. Afterwards a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochurim in his private room.

Immediately after Shacharis at the yeshiva, at around 12:30, the Rebbe shlit"a set out on the way to the levaya of his mechutan, the Rebbe HaGaon HaKadosh, Av Beis Din of Sighet zt"l, which took place in his beis medrash, Kahal Yereim, in Sighet.
The Rebbe arrived at around 1:50 and delivered warm words of eulogy, speaking in praise of the distinguished niftar, a branch of the tree of the forefathers of the Rebbe's grandfather, the holy Yitav Lev zy"a. After the Rebbe's hesped, the niftar's son, HaGaon Rabbi, the Rav of the beis medrash Yismach Moshe shlit"a, also eulogized, and at the end he thanked the Rebbe shlit"a for instructing the chevra kadisha to provide the very best possible, in accordance with the wishes of his father, the niftar zt"l.

After the eulogies the Rebbe accompanied the bier, and afterwards the Rebbe went to comfort the mourner, his brother-in-law, HaGaon Av Beis Din of Montreal shlit"a, at the guest house, and then set out on the way home to Kiryas Joel.

Upon arriving in Kiryas Joel at around 5:20, the Rebbe went into the halls of Beis Rochel Paradise, where the high school students of our holy institutions in Williamsburg had gathered. The Rebbe first reviewed the students' good commitments regarding tznius and technology, and then delivered words of rebuke and guidance regarding the responsibility that rests upon them, as they are, b'ezras Hashem, the mothers of the coming generations. He praised the students who took upon themselves good commitments, and concluded with his holy blessing.

In the afternoon at around 6:15 the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy home.

The Rebbe shlit"a read the tenaim in the tenaim hall in his holy home for the mechutanim, R' Baruch Eckstein and R' Yoel Gross, son of R' Moshe.

During the entry times, HaGaon Rabbi Yoshe Leifer shlit"a, Av Beis Din of Be'er Moshe Monsey and president of Machon Oz VeHadar, visited the Rebbe. A pleasant conversation took place, and the Rebbe sent him off with his holy blessing.

The Rebbe davened Maariv at around 12:00.

Sunday, Parshas Vayakhel, 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

In the morning, before Shacharis, a bris took place for the newborn son of R' Yoel, son of R' Meir Perl, where the Rebbe served as sandek.

After davening, the Rebbe taught the daily Tehillim shiur, on chapter 19, verse 10. Afterwards, a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochurim in his private room.

During the morning hours, the Rebbe was on his weekly visit to the distinguished slaughterhouse.

In the afternoon, the Rebbe shlit"a went up to the Heichal HaYeshiva, Kedushas Yoel branch, where the Rebbe learned with a chavrusa from among the yeshiva students in his private room, and at around 5:45 the Rebbe davened Mincha in the yeshiva.

After Mincha, the Rebbe shlit"a went to the beis hachaim for the unveiling of the matzeivah of his childhood friend, l'bchal"ch HaRav HaGaon R' Leibush Weinfeld z"l. The Rebbe delivered warm words of eulogy, emphasizing that although he lived from the work of his hands, he nevertheless toiled in Torah and inspired the community with his warm voice in prayer.

In the evening, the Rebbe shlit"a went on a bikur cholim visit to the Shabbos Kodesh Mishabbes, HaRav HaChassid R' Yoshe Mendlowitz, after he underwent an operation. A conversation ensued, and the Rebbe bestowed upon him his holy blessing for a complete recovery.

Entry hours to the Rebbe's room were from around 8:20 until 11:45 at night, in his holy home on Uhel Court.

During the entry hours, the Zhanz-Gribov Rebbe shlit"a of Boro Park visited the Rebbe on the occasion of the wedding of his son, mazel tov. A pleasant conversation took place and the Rebbe bestowed his holy blessings upon him.
