Tuesday, Parshas Vayikra — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in the Heichal HaMesivta, Etz Chaim branch – Shiur Gimmel. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochur, the bochur Yechezkel Wertzberger.

After davening, the Rebbe recited the daily Tehillim portion, up to chapter 19, verse 12, after which a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochur in the Heichal of the beis medrash.

In the afternoon, at around 6:15, the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy home on Keap St.

In the evening, the Rebbe shlit"a traveled to Williamsburg for the weekly reception hours.
The reception hours with the Rebbe, in his holy home on Hewes St., lasted from about 8:30 until 12:20 at night.

During the reception hours, HaRav HaGaon R' Simcha Aharon Strahli shlit"a, rav of the kehilla Shaarei Ish in the Royal Grove neighborhood of Jackson, New Jersey, entered to receive the Rebbe's blessing on the occasion of the wedding of his daughter, the kallah, and the Rebbe blessed him from his holy blessings.

Also entering was HaRav HaGaon R' Avrohom Wolf Schnebalg shlit"a, a moreh tzedek in our holy kehilla, who presented the Rebbe with his new sefer, 'Shu"t Pischei Binah', covering all four sections of the Shulchan Aruch. A fine discussion ensued about various questions in light of today's technological inventions, and the Rebbe blessed him from his holy blessings.

The Rebbe also blessed coins that will be distributed to the students of our holy mosdos in Williamsburg, who brought in larger sums for the benefit of our holy mosdos.

The Rebbe davened Maariv at around 10:00, and afterward continued receiving the public.

Monday, Parshas Vayikra — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis at Heichal HaMesivta, the Divrei Yoel branch. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochur, the bochur Mordechai Berger.
During the Torah reading, the Rebbe went up for hagbah. After davening, he recited the daily Tehillim shiur on chapter 19, verse 12, during which the Rebbe spoke words of guidance for the coming Yom Tov of Purim. Afterwards, a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochur in the Rebbe's private room.

During the morning hours, the Rebbe made his weekly visit to the mehudar slaughterhouse.

In the afternoon, the Rebbe shlit"a went up to Heichal HaYeshiva, the Divrei Yoel branch, where he learned with a chavrusa from among the yeshiva's talmidim in his private room. At around 6:15, the Rebbe davened Mincha in the yeshiva.

In the evening, the Rebbe shlit"a officiated at the kiddushin at the chuppah of the following mechutanim:

Sunday, Parshas Vayikra — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

This morning, before Shacharis, a bris of a newborn son took place at the home of R' Avrohom Meir Weinberger, where the Rebbe served as sandek.

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis at Heichal HaMesivta, the Kedushas Yoel branch. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim.
The bochur Toibe Lipa Gross.
The bochur Shalom Goldman.

After davening, the Rebbe recited the daily Tehillim shiur, on chapter 19, verse 12. Afterwards, a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochurim in the Rebbe's private room.

In the afternoon, at around 6:15, the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy home.

At around 7:00, the Rebbe shlit"a arrived at the Divrei Yoel beis medrash for the hachnasas sefer Torah donated by HaRav R' Yaakov Pinchas Friedman. The Rebbe took the Sefer Torah from the donor and danced holy dances. He then recited "Ledavid Mizmor" as is customary and bestowed his holy blessings upon the donor.

In the evening, the Rebbe shlit"a officiated at the kiddushin at the chuppah of the following mechutanim:

After the yechidus hours at his holy home on Zanz Court, HaGaon Rabbi Shmuel Binyamin Kraus shlit"a, Rosh Yeshivas Toras Chesed London, entered for yechidus (may he have a speedy recovery). The Rebbe inquired about his well-being and warmly bestowed his holy blessing.

Shabbos Kodesh, Parshas Pekudei, 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

On Erev Shabbos afternoon, the Rebbe shlit"a placed the shtreimel on the chasanim:
The chasan Yechiel Shlomo, son of Avrohom Yoshe Glantz.
The chasan Yuda Leib, son of R' Yaakov Shalom Weiss shlit"a.

On Friday night at around 7:35 the Rebbe shlit"a entered the beis medrash wrapped in his tallis and approached the amud for Mincha and Kabbalas Shabbos: R' Yechezkel Yoel Samet (Williamsburg). The davening ended at around 9:05.
After davening an appeal took place for the yeshiva ketana of our holy mosdos in Antwerp. The congregation went over to wish a good Shabbos, and the Rebbe went into his private room.

At around 9:35 the Rebbe shlit"a entered the Shulchan Aruch hall together with the talmidim of the mesivta, and began, as is his custom, with Shalom Aleichem with feeling and sweetness.

The Rebbe shlit"a honored people with the zemiros. Kol Mekadesh: R' Aharon Eisen (Yerushalayim). Menucha V'Simcha: R' Yisroel Jacob (Yerushalayim).

The Rebbe shlit"a said Torah on the verse "Eileh pekudei haMishkan" and explained, in the manner of a derush, the sugya of "yesh em lamikra o lamesores."

Kah Echsof: the grandson of the Rebbe, HaRav R' Zalman Leib Teitelbaum shlit"a, son of the Rebbe of Williamsburg shlit"a. Birkas Hamazon: HaGaon Rabbi Lipa Teitelbaum shlit"a.

Stories and accounts: this week the Rebbe shlit"a told stories about the holy R' Eizikel of Kalov zy"a, whose yahrzeit was on Sunday, 7 Adar.

Kah Ribon Olam: R' Yoel Vogel (Antwerp). The new chasanim went over to take fruit. Bayom Hashvi'i: HaGaon Rabbi Shimon Yoel Brach shlit"a, moreh tzedek for sofrus matters in Boro Park. The tish ended at around 12:15.

On the Holy Shabbos Day

On Shabbos morning the Rebbe shlit"a entered the beis medrash at around 9:35. Pesukei D'Zimra: R' Moshe Goldberger. The Rebbe approached the amud for Shacharis, and sent the Rebbe of Williamsburg shlit"a, the Av Beis Din, to lead the chazaras hashatz.

Before the Torah reading, the Av Beis Din of Williamsburg shlit"a delivered a warm address of chizuk and awakening, in the presence of the Rebbe shlit"a, about strengthening oneself in matters of technology.
By directive of the Rebbe shlit"a, drashos were also delivered this Shabbos, "Shabbos Chizuk," in all the batei medrash in Kiryas Joel by the rabbonim and dayanim, to strengthen the community in this matter.

The Rebbe entered the beis medrash for Mincha and Shalosh Seudos at around 7:35. Mincha: R' Yissachar Betzalel Jacob, director of our holy mosdos in Yerushalayim. Hotzaah and Hachnasah: R' Yisroel Nachman Shimenowitz. Kohen: R' Shlomo Barzel Glick. Levi: R' Avrohom Yitzchak Landau. Shlishi: HaGaon HaGadol Rabbi Shimon Yitzchak Schlesinger shlit"a, member of the Badatz of the Eidah HaChareidis in the holy city of Yerushalayim. Hagbah: the Rebbe shlit"a. Gelilah: R' Chaim Hersh Gandel (Williamsburg).

At Shalosh Seudos the Rebbe honored people with the zemiros. Odeh: R' Noach Gafen. Shir HaMaalos: R' Moshe Schwartz (Williamsburg).

The Rebbe shlit"a said Torah on the verse "Eileh pekudei haMishkan" and explained that when a person has the desire to do teshuvah but cannot find the "opening like the eye of a needle," the advice for this is tefillah, which helps so that one can at least begin to do teshuvah.

The Rebbe shlit"a recited the blessing over the cup and said Sheva Brachos.
Maariv on Motzei Shabbos: HaGaon HaGadol Rabbi Shimon Yitzchak Schlesinger shlit"a. After Havdalah the congregation went over to wish a gutte voch. The davening ended at around 10:00.

On Motzei Shabbos, a Day of Joy

At around 12:00 the Rebbe shlit"a arrived in Boro Park at the home of HaRav Chaim Meir Hager shlit"a, son of the Vizhnitz Yerushalayim Rebbe shlit"a, for the Sheva Brachos celebration of his daughter the kallah, with the chasan, the grandson of his brother-in-law, HaGaon Rabbi Menachem Ernster shlit"a, Rosh Yeshiva of Vizhnitz. A pleasant conversation took place with the distinguished grandfathers, the Rebbes shlit"a. The Rebbe drank lechayim and offered blessings to the chasan, the mechutanim, the Vizhnitz Yerushalayim Rebbe shlit"a, his brother-in-law the Rosh Yeshiva of Vizhnitz shlit"a, and the entire assembly. Afterward, they went out in dancing in honor of the simcha.

From there the Rebbe shlit"a went to be menachem avel at the home of R' Yoel Singer and his family, on the passing of his wife a"h, where the Rebbe comforted the family and the orphans for an extended time.

Afterward, at around 1:00, the Rebbe shlit"a went to the building of our beis medrash on 18th Ave., where a Sheva Brachos had been arranged by the beis medrash in honor of the wedding simcha at the home of the supporters and donors of the new beis medrash building.
HaGaon Rabbi Avrohom Meir Halberstam shlit"a, dayan of the beis medrash, continued with his address. The Rebbe drank lechayim and offered blessings to the chasanim, the mechutanim, and the entire assembly, and shared brief words of Torah and a blessing.
At around 1:20 the Rebbe set out on the way home to his holy residence in Kiryas Joel.

Thursday, Parshas Pekudei — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

In the morning, before Shacharis, the following brissim took place:
The son born to R' Yechezkel Shraga Wertzberger, where the Rebbe served as sandek and mohel.
The son born to R' Shlomo Heimlich, where the Rebbe served as sandek and mohel.

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in the Heichal HaMesivta, Beirach Moshe branch. Before davening, the Rebbe put on tefillin for the bar mitzvah bochur, the bochur Dovid Moshe Shamuel.
During the Torah reading, the Rebbe went up for hagbah, and after davening he recited the daily Tehillim shiur, on chapter 19, verse 12. Afterwards, a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochur in his private room.

During the morning hours, the Rebbe shlit"a went on a visit to the mehudar slaughterhouse together with HaGaon HaGadol Rabbi Shimon Yitzchak Schlesinger shlit"a, member of the Beis Din Tzedek of the Eida HaChareidis. The Rebbe walked around and was shown the many hiddurim and chumros that have been instituted in the mehudar slaughterhouse.

In the afternoon at around 6:30, the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy home.

In the evening, the Rebbe shlit"a officiated at kiddushin at the chuppah of the following mechutanim:
R' Gavriel Shmuel Weiss - R' Chaim Eli Felberbaum, at Kinor Dovid hall.
R' Yoel Rubin - R' Avrohom Dovid Lax, at Beis Rochel Paradise hall.

Yechidus hours at the Kodesh were from around 8:00 until 10:15 at night, in his holy home on Uhel Court.

During the yechidus hours, a writing of the letters took place for the Sefer Torah being written by R' Shaul Roth. The Rebbe wrote in the letters, drank a lechayim, and bestowed his holy blessing.

The Rebbe shlit"a read the tenaim in the tenaim hall in his holy home for the mechutanim R' Avrohom Shmuel Schwartz - R' Yoel Yitzchak Roth.

At around 10:30, the Rebbe arrived at the Beirach Moshe beis medrash for the Sheva Berachos simcha in our holy courts, arranged by the mispallelim of the beis medrash in honor of the Rebbe shlit"a and the Rav of the beis medrash, HaGaon HaTzaddik shlit"a. The Rebbe danced in the center for several minutes, drank a lechayim, and wished the chosson, the mechutanim, and the entire congregation well. He delivered words of Torah on the topic of the simcha of chosson and kallah, and then spoke for an extended time about pressing matters, regarding various issues that concern a sofer when he writes Sifrei Torah and the responsibility that rests on the sofer. He continued on the recent scandal regarding the problems with the well-known Tikkun Soferim, the Tikkun Horowitz, which a large percentage of soferim use. Because many errors were found in it, every Sefer Torah that was copied from the Tikkun Horowitz must be re-examined. He thereby urged all the gabbaim of our batei medrash everywhere to be careful and to make sure to follow up and ask the owners of Sifrei Torah which Tikkun Soferim was used in writing, and to make sure to use only kosher Sifrei Torah until the pesulim are corrected. He concluded with his holy blessing to the Rav of the beis medrash, HaGaon HaTzaddik shlit"a, and to the entire congregation.

A Purim shpiel was presented by the children of the beis medrash, and R' Yisroel Aharon Kletzkin performed with words of badchanus. For Birkas Hamazon, the Rebbe honored the Rav of the beis medrash, HaGaon HaTzaddik shlit"a, and the Rebbe recited the Sheva Berachos. The event concluded at around 12:00.

Afterwards, the Rebbe went over to the new added wing of the beis medrash, where he looked over the new tefillah rooms that are being completed in these days, accompanied by R' Gedalia Segedin, member of the beis medrash's administration, and then the Rebbe davened Maariv there in the new extension.

From there, at around 12:30, the Rebbe shlit"a went on a return visit to HaGaon HaGadol Rabbi Shimon Yitzchak Schlesinger shlit"a, member of the Beis Din Tzedek of the Eida HaChareidis, at the home of R' Mordechai Shabsi Wertzberger in the Chasam Sofer neighborhood. A pleasant conversation in Torah ensued about various rulings of the Chasam Sofer zy"a, of whom the Rav shlit"a is a descendant. The Rav shlit"a honored the Rebbe shlit"a with a lechayim, and the Rebbe warmly bestowed his holy blessing upon him, and upon HaGaon Rabbi Shlomo Yosef Yazepovitch shlit"a, Rav of the Ohr Moshe beis medrash in the neighborhood.
