Monday, Parshas Shemini

The Satmar Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in the Heichal HaMesivta, Divrei Yoel branch. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim.

During the Torah reading the Rebbe went up for Hagbah, and after davening he taught a Tehillim shiur on chapter 19, verse 14. Afterwards a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochurim in his private room.

At around 1:40 in the afternoon the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a went over to the Heichal HaMesivta, Kedushas Yoel branch, where the Rebbe taught the second sugya shiur as preparation for the Shabbos HaGadol derasha. It concluded at around 2:30.

At around 6:30 in the afternoon the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy home.

In the evening the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a officiated at the kiddushin under the chuppah for the following mechutanim:

R' Chaim Mordechai Buchinger - R' Moshe Mordechai Greenfeld, at Beis Rachel Paradise hall.

Entry times to the Rebbe's room (kabbalas kahal) were from around 8:15 until 12:00 at night, in his holy home on Uhel Court.

The Satmar Rebbe shlit"a read the tena'im in the tena'im hall in his holy home for the following mechutanim: R' Berish Feldman - R' Tuvia Brach.

During the entry times, HaGaon Rabbi Ephraim Goldberg shlit"a, rabbi of the Chareidi community in Boca Raton, Florida, together with the distinguished philanthropists R' Avrohom Yekusiel Yermiash and R' Yechezkel Dovid Berkowitz, came in to the Rebbe together with a group from the local community to receive divrei chizuk and bracha. The Rebbe delivered words of chizuk, inquired about the local community, its institutions and the Torah shiurim in the community, and bestowed his holy blessings upon the rabbi, giving him his sefer Haggadah shel Pesach Lev Aharon. The members of the community then went over to receive the holy blessing.

Likewise, the chosson Ephraim, son of Avrohom Brach, and the bochur Yosef Menachem, son of Yoel Katz, were examined by the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a on the entire Shulchan Aruch, Hilchos Shabbos.

The Rebbe davened Maariv at around 12:00.

After Maariv the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a went over to the new magnificent shtreimel store of Kroiz Shtreimlach in Kiryas Joel. The Rebbe affixed a mezuzah at the entrance and then looked around the entire store. Afterwards a lechayim gathering was held, where the Rebbe spoke about stories and customs regarding the garb of the shtreimel, and bestowed his holy blessings upon the owners.

Sunday, Parshas Shemini — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Satmar Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in the Heichal HaMesivta, Kedushas Yoel branch. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim.

The Rebbe shlit"a lit 5 candles in honor of the yahrzeit of the holy Rebbe R' Elimelech of Lizhensk zy"a, and before Hodu the Rebbe recited the Tefilla Kodem HaTefilla of the holy Rebbe R' Elimelech zy"a with great weeping, for nearly half an hour.

After davening, the Rebbe delivered the daily Tehillim shiur on chapter 19, verse 15, and spoke about the holiness of the Baal HaHilula zy"a. Afterwards a lechayim in honor of the hilula took place together with the bar mitzvah bochurim, with a large crowd in the heichal of the beis medrash.

At around 1:45 in the afternoon the Rebbe shlit"a arrived at the Heichal HaMesivta, Kedushas Yoel branch, where the Rebbe delivered the first shiur on the sugya of 'Davar Sheyesh Lo Matirin,' as preparation for the Shabbos HaGadol derasha. It concluded at around 2:25.

In the afternoon at around 6:30 the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy home.

In the evening the Rebbe shlit"a officiated at kiddushin at the chuppahs of the following mechutanim:
R' Chaim Leib Markowitz - R' Yisroel Mordechai Wanhatzker, at Kinor Dovid hall.
R' Eliezer Gelb - R' Yoel Eigner, son of R' Yehuda, at Beis Rachel Paradise hall.
R' Yoel Wallner, son of R' Leibish (of the Williamsburg Beis Din) - R' Mordechai Winkler, at Ginas Klein hall.

Between the chuppahs the Rebbe shlit"a entered the Beis Rachel building, the Hirsch G.B. Landau building, where the learning of the "Ratz LaMishna" masmidim program takes place. The Rebbe walked around and looked over the learning with great nachas, and bestowed his holy blessing upon the administration of the masmidim.

After the chuppahs at around 8:00, the Rebbe shlit"a went over to the halls in his holy home for a lechayim gathering in honor of the holy hilula of the holy Rebbe R' Elimelech zy"a together with the talmidim of the Yeshiva Ketana, Kinyan Torah branch in Monsey. Several inspiring songs were sung, the Rebbe drank lechayim and wished the rebbeim and talmidim well, delivered words of Torah about the greatness of the Baal HaHilula zy"a, and concluded with his holy blessing. Afterwards the Rebbe distributed written commendations to the outstanding students of the yeshiva.

Yechidus hours were held from around 8:30 until 12:30 at night, in the Rebbe's holy home on Ohel Court.

During yechidus hours, HaGaon HaTzaddik R' Tzvi Hirsch Fish shlit"a, the Zidichov-Premishlan Rebbe, paid a visit. A pleasant conversation about the holy Rebbe R' Elimelech zy"a ensued, and among other things the Rebbe shlit"a conveyed greetings from the Yeshiva Gedola, shiur Daled, where the Rebbe had participated in the hilula seudah. The Rebbe honored him with a lechayim and bestowed upon him his holy blessing.

The Rebbe davened Maariv at around 12:30.

Shabbos Kodesh, Parshas Tzav, Shabbos Parah — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

On Erev Shabbos afternoon, the Rebbe put on the shtreimel for the chasanim:
The chasan Yeshaya, the bochur, son of Dovid Wertheimer.
The chasan Avrohom, the bochur, son of Eliezer Gelb.

On Friday night at around 7:50, the Rebbe shlit"a entered the beis medrash wrapped in his tallis and approached the amud for Mincha. Kabbalas Shabbos: R' Avrohom Shimon Katina (Antwerp).
Davening concluded at around 9:25. The congregation went over to wish a gut Shabbos, and the Rebbe went into his private room.

At around 10:00, the Rebbe shlit"a came in to the Shabbos meal in the Heichal HaShulchanos together with the talmidei hayeshiva, and began, as is his custom, with Shalom Aleichem with feeling and sweetness.
Eshes Chayil: the Rebbe's grandson, the chasan Yisroel Dushinsky, son of the Rebbe's relative, HaGaon HaTzaddik, rav of Beis Medrash Ohel Feiga shlit"a. Hagbahas HaKos: the Rebbe's grandson, Rabbi Meir Yehuda Ashkenazi shlit"a, son-in-law of the Rebbe's relative, HaGaon HaTzaddik, rav of Beis Medrash Avnei Tzedek shlit"a.

The Rebbe shlit"a said Torah on the verse "Zos toras ha'olah," and explained in the manner of a derush the sugya of whether a shliach can accept kiddushin.

The Rebbe honored people with the zemiros at Shalosh Seudos. Odeh: R' Noach Gafen. Shir HaMaalos: R' Moshe Goldstein.

The Rebbe shlit"a said Torah on the Krias HaTorah of Parah, "Zos chukas haTorah," and explained that one must conduct oneself with holiness and integrity in speech, in deed and even in thought. The Parah Adumah is proof that people were punished for the sin of the Golden Calf, even those who sinned only in thought, and when this is rectified, one can engage in Torah properly. He spoke at length that tonight, Motzei Shabbos, is the yahrzeit of the holy Rebbe R' Elimelech of Lizhensk zy"a, who writes in Hanhagas Adam, "He should guard himself from sins, from evil thoughts, in every manner."

Thursday, Parshas Tzav — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

This morning, before Shacharis, a bris for a newborn son took place for R' Shlomo Berish Herskowitz, at which the Rebbe served as sandek and mohel.

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in Heichal HaMesivta, Snif Eitz Chaim, Shiur Gimmel. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochur, the bochur Yechiel Tzvi Apfel.
During the Torah reading, the Rebbe went to hagbah, and after davening he recited the daily Tehillim shiur, on chapter 19, verse 12. Afterwards, a lechayim took place with the bar mitzvah bochur in the heichal of the beis medrash. On this occasion, the talmidim of the yeshiva went over to receive a blessing ahead of their trip to the holy places in Europe. The Rebbe inquired about the details of the trip and distributed shlichus mitzvah money to the bochurim.

During the morning hours, the Rebbe was on his weekly visit to the choice bakery of our holy kehilla.

In the afternoon at around 6:30, the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy home.

In the evening, the Rebbe shlit"a officiated at kiddushin at the chuppah of the following mechutanim.

The time for receiving the public at the Rebbe's holy home on Uhel Court was from around 8:15 until 12:30 after midnight.

During the reception, at around 9:50, the Rebbe shlit"a went over to the home of HaRav HaChassid R' Meir Hirsch, where the first of a series of gatherings with philanthropists took place toward the completion of the building of the girls' school Bnos Eretz Yisroel Beis Pesha in Bnei Brak, may it be established.
HaRav HaChassid R' Meir spoke about the expansion of the boundaries of holiness of Mosdos Yitav Lev in Eretz Yisroel, and especially in Bnei Brak. Afterwards, HaRav HaChassid R' Avrohom Yoshe Glanz, a member of the building fund committee, spoke and presented a detailed report on the progress of the construction work on the building, enumerating the funds that have already been raised and the funds that still need to be raised.
The Rebbe drank a lechayim and delivered words of Torah about the tremendous privilege of being able to give money to Mosdos Yitav Lev, and about the history of this holy institution, which the Rebbe z"l founded on Erev Yom Kippur. He spoke in praise of the esteemed philanthropists and concluded with abundant blessings for the entire assembly. Afterwards, the philanthropists went over to hand the larger donations to the Rebbe shlit"a, and the Rebbe personally wished each one abundant blessings.
At around 10:30, the Rebbe left the gathering and returned to his holy home to continue receiving the public.

During the reception, the bochur Mordechai Efraim Fishel, son of R' Yisroel Simcha Landau, presented himself for an examination before the Rebbe shlit"a on five hundred pages of Gemara.

The Rebbe davened Maariv at around 12:30.

In the morning, before Shacharis, a bris took place for the newborn son of R' Mordechai Dov Gruber (Boro Park), where the Rebbe was sandek.

In the afternoon, the Rebbe shlit"a went up to the Heichal HaYeshiva, Kedushas Yoel branch, where the Rebbe learned with a chavrusa from among the talmidim of the yeshiva in his private room, and at around 6:15 the Rebbe davened Mincha in the yeshiva.

Tuesday, Parshas Tzav — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in the large beis medrash.

Before Shacharis, the following brisos took place:
For the newborn son of R' Yoel Bar Shatz Scheer, where the Rebbe was sandek and mohel.
For the newborn son of R' Yisroel Steinberg, where the Rebbe was sandek.
For the newborn son of R' Meir Shaul Hecht, where the Rebbe was sandek.

In the afternoon, at around 5:15, the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy home.

In the evening, the Rebbe shlit"a traveled into Williamsburg for the weekly reception hours.
The Rebbe first traveled to Boro Park, where the Rebbe paid a shiva call to the distinguished, generous brothers R' Yitzchak Zev and R' Yisroel Weinstock shlit"a (owners of Mayal Mart) on the passing of their mother a"h.

At around 8:00 the Rebbe shlit"a arrived at the La Chateau hall in Williamsburg, where an assembly of chizuk took place for the Kollel Boker Kochvei Or of our Beis Medrash Berach Moshe. HaGaon Rabbi Naftali Hirtzka Zwiebel shlit"a, the rosh kollel and rav of the beis medrash, spoke, and HaGaon Rabbi Dovid Shlomo Laub shlit"a called up the patron of the kollel, the distinguished philanthropist R' Yosef Mordechai Kohn, to receive a gift from the Rebbe shlit"a.
The Rebbe drank lechayim and blessed the patron of the kollel, the askan R' Simcha Bunim Kahan, director of the kollel, and the entire assembly, and delivered brief words of Torah and a blessing. It concluded at around 8:20.

The reception hours in Kiryas Joel were from around 8:25 until 11:45 at night, in his holy home on Hugh St.

The Rebbe davened Maariv at around 10:40 and afterwards continued receiving the public.
