Monday, Parshas Korach 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Rebbe davened Shacharis in the Heichal HaMesivta, Divrei Yoel branch. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim.

During the Torah reading the Rebbe went up for Hagbah, and after davening he recited the daily Tehillim shiur, on chapter 22, verse 1. Afterwards a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochurim in his private room.

In the afternoon the Rebbe went up to the Heichal HaYeshiva, Divrei Yoel branch, where the Rebbe learned with a chavrusa in his private room. At around 6:20 the Rebbe davened Mincha in the yeshiva.

At around 8:35 the Rebbe arrived in the Skver neighborhood for the Sheva Brachos celebration of a great-grandchild of his brother-in-law, the Skver Rebbe shlit"a, which took place in the tent next to the beis medrash. The Rebbe greeted his brother-in-law, the Skver Rebbe shlit"a, and a lovely conversation developed. The Rebbe then broke into a joyous dance with the chosson and afterwards with the Skver Rebbe shlit"a. Then the Rebbe drank a lechayim and warmly wished mazel tov to the chosson, the mechutanim, the grandfathers, and the great-grandfather, the Skver Rebbe shlit"a. The Rebbe left the Sheva Brachos at around 8:50.

Entry hours for kvitelach were from 9:30 until 12:15 at night, at his holy residence on Uhel Ct.

The Rebbe davened Maariv at around 12:15.

Sunday, Parshas Korach — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Satmar Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in the Beis Medrash HaGadol. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim.

After davening, a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochurim in the hall of the beis medrash.

At around 12:45, the Rebbe shlit"a traveled to Monsey to grace the annual Chumash Seudah of the talmidim of the mosdos, which took place in the halls of Ateres Charna in Monsey.

On the way, the Rebbe stopped at Yeshiva Or V'Daas, where the Rebbe accompanied the coffin of the Kosov Rebbe zt"l for a short while, together with his brother-in-law, the Skver Rebbe shlit"a.

The Rebbe then continued on to the Chumash Seudah. The Rebbe arrived at around 2:00 and greeted the rabbonim at the head table, as well as HaGaon, the Av Beis Din of Monsey shlit"a. The children sang rhymes in honor of the occasion, after which all the children went up and the Rebbe distributed a Tehillim.
The Rebbe drank a lechayim, blessed the children and their parents, and shared words of blessing. It concluded at around 2:30.

The Rebbe then entered a side room where the signing of the pledge documents took place for the many members of the kehilla who raised respectable sums in the 'L'haamidam' campaign and thereby purchased zechusim in our holy mosdos. HaRav HaGaon R' Dovid Shlomo Laub shlit"a, a maggid shiur in our holy kehilla, spoke. The donors then came up and signed the documents together with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a, and the Rebbe blessed each one individually with abundant brachos. Several nigunim were sung, and the Rebbe warmly blessed the director of the mosdos, R' Shmuel Zanvil Wertheimer.

From there the Rebbe went to the home of HaRav HaGaon R' Yuda Leib Neiman shlit"a, where a signing of pledge documents took place at which his esteemed brothers-in-law, the sons of R' Pinchas Nachman Glauber a"h, together with their mother tichye, purchased a distinguished zechus in our holy mosdos in Monsey. First, the older talmidim of our holy mosdos came over, and the Rebbe distributed coins and siddurim to those who had brought in larger sums for the mosdos this past Purim. Then HaRav HaGaon R' Dovid Shlomo Laub shlit"a spoke.
The Rebbe signed the documents, drank a lechayim, and bestowed his holy brachos. A pleasant conversation ensued, and the Rebbe bestowed blessings upon the entire family.

From there the Rebbe went to the home of R' Yisroel Yaakov Kasirer for a nichum aveilim visit following the passing of his wife a"h. The Rebbe spoke words of chizuk to the family and the orphans for an extended time and bestowed his holy blessing.

At around 4:15, the Rebbe arrived at the home of R' Yisroel Weisenfeld, where his son R' Chaim pledged a large sum and purchased a 'zechus kumah' in the construction of the new Beis Rachel building in Monsey. Present was HaRav HaTzaddik Rabbi Aharon Teitelbaum shlit"a, Rav of Kehal Eitz Chaim Sigut Monsey. A lengthy conversation took place about the expansion of the borders of kedusha in Monsey and various memories. HaRav HaGaon R' Dovid Shlomo Laub shlit"a spoke and several nigunim were sung.
The Rebbe signed the documents, drank a lechayim, and bestowed his holy brachos.
The Rebbe then went to view the mikvah that R' Yisroel built for the neighborhood, and the Rebbe bestowed his holy blessing.

From there the Rebbe traveled to the new factory of the 'Golden Taste' company, owned by R' Refoel Perlmutter of Eretz Yisroel in Monsey. The Rebbe laid the foundations and warmly bestowed his holy brachos upon R' Refoel.
Then, at around 5:15, the Rebbe visited the Heichal Yeshiva Gedolah Esek HaTorah, under the direction of HaRav HaGaon R' Yisroel Mordechai Seidenfeld shlit"a. The Rebbe first entered the beis medrash and viewed the learning with great pleasure, and then davened Mincha together with the talmidim of the yeshiva.
After Mincha a lechayim gathering took place in the hall of the beis medrash. Several nigunim were sung, the Rebbe drank a lechayim and blessed the talmidim and the rebbeim of the yeshiva, shared words of Torah and blessing with the bochurim, and wished them good shidduchim soon.
On the way out, the Rebbe greeted HaGaon R' Meshulam Nosson Spiegel shlit"a, Rav of the Beis Medrash Tefillah L'Moshe in Kalashin, where the yeshiva is located, and his father-in-law, the esteemed R' Moshe Gross shlit"a of Karestir. At around 5:50 the Rebbe set out for home to his holy residence in Kiryas Joel.

Entry hours to the Rebbe were from 8:45 until 12:30 at night, at his holy residence on Uhel Court.

During the entry hours, the rabbonim of the Vaad Mishmeres Chomosayich Yerushalayim, together with the askanim and directors of Merkaz Ezra V'Yeutz of the Edah HaChareidis, entered to receive the Rebbe's holy blessing on the occasion of the opening of the new 'seventh' office of the Merkaz in the city of Ashdod. The Rebbe inquired about the Merkaz's many activities, and in particular the askanim gave a report on the upcoming 'Podeh' campaign to include members of the kehilla as partners in the holy work of the Merkaz. The Rebbe asked the rabbonim of the Vaad Mishmeres Chomosayich Yerushalayim about the many efforts against the bitter draft decrees in Eretz Yisroel, and the rabbonim gave a detailed report on the historic protest rally convened by the Edah HaChareidis at the call of the Posek HaDor U'Mara D'Asra Kadisha shlit"a at Kikar Tzupnik, where tens of thousands of members of the Edah gathered to cry out the holy plea against the bitter draft decree, as well as on the many plans for the future for the success of the struggle. The Rebbe bestowed his holy blessing upon the askanim and rabbonim of the Merkaz, and in particular warmly blessed the avreich R' Hershel Friedman, head of the askanim in the United States, and the esteemed R' Yitzchak Shif, chairman of the American board.

The Satmar Rebbe shlit"a read the tenaim in the tenaim hall at his holy residence for the mechutanim R' Shalom Moshe Menachem Eckstein and R' Yoel Berach Pilef.

The Rebbe davened Maariv at around 12:30.

Shabbos Kodesh, Parshas Shelach, Mevarchim Chodesh Tammuz — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

On Friday night at around 9:10 the Rebbe entered the beis medrash wrapped in his tallis and approached the amud for Mincha, Kabbalas Shabbos: R' Asher Zelig Bleich.
The davening concluded at around 10:35. The tzibbur went over to wish a gut Shabbos, and the Rebbe went into his private room.

At around 11:00 the Rebbe entered the holy table in the Heichal HaShulchanos together with the talmidei hamesivta, and began, as is his custom, with Shalom Aleichem, with feeling and with a sweet melody.
Eshes Chayil: the grandson of the Rebbe, the bochur Yissachar Ber Teitelbaum, son of the Rebbe's son, HaGaon Rabbi Av Beis Din of Beis Medrash Beirach Moshe shlit"a. Lifting the cup: R' Yosef Leib Yakobovits (Yerushalayim).

The Rebbe shlit"a said Torah on the verse "Send for yourself men," and explained in the manner of derush the sugya of "a positive commandment overrides a negative commandment" (aseh docheh lo saaseh).

On Shabbos Kodesh morning the Rebbe entered the beis medrash at around 9:40. Berachos and Pesukei D'Zimra: R' Yoel Meir Friedman. The Rebbe recited Vechoros verse by verse and then approached the amud for Shacharis.

For Mincha and Shalosh Seudos the Rebbe entered the beis medrash at around 9:00. Mincha: R' Yosef Moshe Glantz. Hotzaah and Hachnasah: R' Betzalel Moshe Goldberger. Kohen: R' Yosef Leib Sander (Williamsburg). Levi: R' Yisroel Simcha Landau. Shlishi: R' Moshe Dovid Gutman (Williamsburg). Hagbah: the Rebbe shlit"a. Gelilah: R' Avrohom Shmuel Weinberger.

The Rebbe honored people with the zemiros at Shalosh Seudos. Odeh: R' Shlomo Zvi Eckstein; Shir HaMaalos: R' Moshe Goldstein.

The Rebbe shlit"a said Torah on the verse "And you shall strengthen yourselves and take of the fruit of the land," and explained that one must take to heart that the days of teshuva are already approaching, and that teshuva draws its power from the complete faith in the coming of Moshiach year after year. One must strengthen oneself not to fall asleep, and whoever is sleeping should have a friend wake him; a Day of Judgment is coming, when every deed and thought is judged, and especially now in the summer days, that we should not be drawn after the vanities of this world.

Maariv of Motzei Shabbos: HaGaon Rabbi Yitzchak Shalom Friedman shlit"a, moreh tzedek. After Havdalah the tzibbur went over to wish a gutte voch. The davening concluded at around 11:20.

At around 12:30 a siyum on the writing of the letters took place at the Rebbe's holy home, for the Sefer Torah being written by R' Chaim Avrohom Weiss, which will be brought into Beis Medrash Beis Baruch on Thursday. The Rebbe wrote in several letters, drank lechayim, and bestowed of his holy blessings.

Thursday, Parshas Shlach — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in the Heichal HaMesivta, Beirach Moshe branch. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochur, the bochur Avrohom Brach.
During the Torah reading, the Rebbe went up for hagbah, and after davening he taught the daily Tehillim shiur, on chapter 22, verse 1.

A few minutes later the Rebbe entered the lechayim gathering in the Heichal of the beis medrash on the occasion of the engagement of his grandson, the chosson HaRav Dovid Dov Meisels shlit"a, one of the outstanding students of the yeshiva, son of his son-in-law HaGaon Rabbi shlit"a, Rav of the Yismach Moshe beis medrash. Joyous melodies were sung, and the Rebbe drank lechayim and wished mazel tov to the chosson, to the bar mitzvah bochur, and to all the students of the yeshiva. The menahel, HaGaon R' Hillel Rabinovitch shlit"a, spoke.
The Rebbe delivered words of Torah in aggadic themes regarding marriage and concluded with abundant blessings.
Afterward the chosson said the pshetl and it was sung in as customary, and the Rebbe stood up and danced together with the chosson. It ended at about 12:15.

In the afternoon a bris took place in the Beis Medrash HaGadol for the newborn son of R' Chaim Hersh, son of HaGaon R' Yaakov Weiss shlit"a, where the Rebbe served as sandek and mohel. Afterward a lechayim gathering took place in the Heichal of the beis medrash together with the baal bris.

In the evening the Rebbe officiated at kiddushin at the chuppah of the following mechutanim:
HaRav R' Yoel Meir Friedman - HaRav R' Eliyahu Mordechai Brach, at Kinor David hall.
HaRav R' Yoel Freund - HaRav R' Yisroel Avrohom Feder, at Beis Rachel Paradise hall.

At about 8:20 the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy home at Ohel Street.
Afterward there were reception hours in Kiryas Joel until 10:30 at night.

The Rebbe davened Maariv at about 9:50 and then continued receiving the public.

The Rebbe shlit"a read the tenaim in the tenaim hall of his holy home for the mechutanim HaRav R' Yoel Bar Moshe Eidelis - HaRav R' Zev Scherzer.

After the reception hours the Rebbe arrived at our beis medrash Beis Shmuel in the Divrei Chaim neighborhood for the tenaim celebration of his grandson, the chosson HaRav Dovid Dov Meisels shlit"a, son of his son-in-law HaGaon Rabbi shlit"a, Rav of the Yismach Moshe beis medrash, to the kallah, daughter of HaGaon R' Yoel Halberstam shlit"a, Rav of our beis medrash Beis Shmuel.
The Rebbe arrived at about 10:55 and greeted the grandfathers and rabbonim at the head table. The mechutanim shlit"a spoke, the Rebbe arranged the tenaim, and honored the grandfather, HaGaon Av Beis Din shlit"a, with reading the tenaim. The witnesses were HaRav R' Hershel Levy and HaRav R' Yitzchak Eckstein; the guarantors were HaRav R' Yoel Epstein and HaRav R' Meir HaKohen Gross.
The Rebbe drank lechayim and wished mazel tov to the chosson, the mechutanim, and the entire gathering, and delivered words of Torah regarding marriage, expressing the joy that a shidduch was made with a grandchild of his father, the holy Rebbe, the Beirach Moshe zy"a, and concluded with abundant blessings.
Afterward the chosson said the pshetl and it was sung in as customary, joyous melodies were sung, and the entire gathering came over to wish the Rebbe shlit"a mazel tov. It ended at about 12:00, and on the way out the Rebbe wished the kallah mazel tov as customary.
