Friday, Erev Shabbos Parshas Korach, "B'tzeil HaKodesh" with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

In the morning, before Shacharis, brissin took place:
For the son born to R' Yechiel Alter Taub, where the Rebbe served as sandek and mohel.
For the son born to R' Yekusiel Yuda Stein, where the Rebbe served as sandek and mohel.
For the son born to R' Moshe Heimlich, where the Rebbe served as sandek.
For the son born to R' Aharon Silberstein, where the Rebbe served as sandek.

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in the Talmud Torah Binyan Hirsch, Brooklyn, together with the students of grades 6, 7 and 8 of the branch of Rabbi Naftali Hirtzka Friedman shlit"a.
Upon arriving, the Rebbe first entered one of the classrooms, looked over the learning and heard the children.

Before davening the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim.
The bochur Yoel Naftali Landau.
The bochur Zalman Leib Fish.

After davening a lechayim gathering was held in the heichal of the beis medrash. The children sang several niggunim and rhymes, and the principal shlit"a presented the Rebbe with a list of the hours of Torah learning with which the children had prepared for the Rebbe's visit. The Rebbe drank a lechayim and blessed all the melamdim and children and the bar mitzvah bochurim. He addressed them with words of Torah and brought out that one must learn from the parsha of the week how severe the sin of machlokes is, and concluded with his holy blessing.

Thursday, Parshas Korach, "B'tzeil HaKodesh" with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Rebbe davened Shacharis in the Heichal of the Mesivta, Beirach Moshe branch. During the Torah reading the Rebbe received the third aliyah, and after davening he learned a shiur in the sugya of the yeshiva's shiurim.
After davening, the Rebbe telephoned to console R' Yechezkel Rotter, one of the heads of our holy institutions in Bnei Brak, and his brothers, on the passing of their father, Rabbi HaChasid HaMerumam z"l.

In the afternoon at around 7:30 the Rebbe arrived at Beis Medrash Beis Boruch for the celebration of a hachnasas sefer Torah, donated by R' Chaim Avrohom Weiss. The Rebbe took the Sefer Torah and danced the holy dances, honored his son, HaGaon Rabbi of the beis medrash shlit"a, and the baal simcha to dance with the Sefer Torah, then recited "L'Dovid Mizmor" as is customary, and bestowed his holy blessings upon the baal simcha, R' Chaim Avrohom, and his family.

Reception hours (zmanei kenisa) in the Rebbe's holy home on Ohel Court were from 8:00 until 11:30 at night.

At around 9:15 the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy home.

During the reception hours the Rebbe telephoned R' Eliyahu Shlomo Kahn shlit"a, director of Beis Rochel in Kiryas Joel, and R' Meir Yosef Gross shlit"a, director of Camp Beis Rochel, where the Rebbe asked how the first week in camp had gone, discussed various matters, and bestowed his holy blessing.

The Rebbe shlit"a read the tenaim at the tenaim held in his holy home between the mechutanim R' Yoel Moshe Reiss and R' Yeshaya Silberstein (of Williamsburg).

After the tenaim the Rebbe davened Maariv, and then continued receiving the public.

Wednesday, Parshas Korach — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Rebbe davened Shacharis in the Heichal of the Mesivta, Vyoel Moshe branch. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochur Yitzchak Chaim Shalilov.

After davening, the Rebbe recited the daily Tehillim shiur, on chapter 22, verse 1. Afterwards, a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochur in his private room.

During the morning hours, the Rebbe went on his weekly visit to the mehudar slaughterhouse.

At around 8:15 the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy home on Ihel Ct.
Afterwards there were reception hours in the Rebbe's room until 12:50 at night.

The Rebbe shlit"a read the tenaim in the tenaim hall in his holy home for the following mechutanim:
HaRav R' Avrohom Yosha Gefen - HaRav R' Shmuel Shimon Berkowitz.
HaRav R' Yechezkel Frankel - HaRav R' Shlomo Moshe Weinberger.

The askanim of the 'Anash Election Committee' entered the Rebbe's room and delivered a report on the recent primary elections and the final results, in which the Anash-endorsed candidate won the special Conservative primary with only 37 votes, with Hashem's help. The Rebbe gave direction and spoke at length about very important matters for the benefit of the klal, which, b'ezras Hashem, it is hoped can all be accomplished thanks to the loyalty of the several hundred residents of Kiryas Joel who made an effort to come out and vote, and bestowed from his holy blessing.

The Rebbe davened Maariv at around 12:50.

Tuesday, Parshas Korach — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

In the morning, before Shacharis, the following brissim took place:
The son born to R' Naftali Kohn, where the Rebbe served as sandek and mohel.
The son born to R' Shimon Naftali Rubinfeld, where the Rebbe served as sandek and mohel.
The son born to R' Efraim Friedrich, where the Rebbe served as sandek.

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in the Heichal of the Mesivta, Etz Chaim branch, Shiur Gimmel. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim:
The bochur Avrohom Yosha Gefen.
The bochur Naftali Zev Katz.
The bochur Dovid Weiss.
The bochur Yitzchak Yoel Goldberger.

After davening, the Rebbe recited the daily Tehillim shiur, on chapter 22, verse 1, and spoke with a heavy heart about the bitter decree of drafting yeshiva students in Eretz Yisroel. In this connection, the Rebbe announced an upcoming worldwide day of prayer, on Erev Rosh Chodesh Elul, IY"H, for all of the chareidi community, men, women and children, from all countries, on one day and at one time.

Afterwards, a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochurim in the Heichal of the beis medrash.

After Shacharis, the Rebbe paid a shiva call to R' Chaim Efraim, son of HaGaon R' Meir Zwiebel shlit"a, on the loss of his daughter a"h.

In the afternoon, the Rebbe went up to the Heichal of the Yeshiva, Kedushas Yoel branch, where the Rebbe learned with a chavrusa in his private room. At around 6:00 the Rebbe davened Mincha in the yeshiva.

In the evening, the Rebbe traveled to Williamsburg for the weekly reception hours.
The reception hours in the Rebbe's room took place from around 8:50 until 11:45 at night, in his holy home on Hewes St.

During the reception hours, HaGaon Rabbi Avrohom Yehoshua Heshel shlit"a of Kapitshnitz of Boro Park entered the Rebbe's room to receive his holy blessing on the occasion of his son's wedding, mazel tov, and the Rebbe bestowed from his holy blessing.

The Rebbe davened Maariv at around 10:15 and then continued receiving the public.

After the reception hours, the Rebbe traveled to Boro Park to the Kosov beis medrash, where the Rebbe paid a shiva call to the Kosov-Zalitchik Rebbe shlit"a and the entire Kosov family, who were sitting shiva for their brother/father, the Kosov Rebbe zt"l. A beautiful conversation developed, with memories of the holy Divrei Yoel zy"a and stories of the holy Etz Chaim zy"a, and the Rebbe wished words of consolation.

From there the Rebbe went to the home of his grandson, Rabbi Yisroel Dushinsky shlit"a, son-in-law of HaGaon Rabbi Av Beis Din of the Ohel Piga beis medrash shlit"a. The Rebbe affixed a mezuzah and drank a lechayim; a beautiful conversation developed and the Rebbe bestowed many blessings. At around 12:45 the Rebbe set out on the way home to his holy residence in Kiryas Joel.
