Sunday, Parshas Chukas, 2 Rosh Chodesh Tammuz — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

In the morning, before Shacharis, the following brisim took place:
The son born to R' Shlomo Menashe Falkowitz, where the Rebbe served as sandek and mohel.
The son born to R' Chaim Friedman, where the Rebbe served as sandek.

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in the Heichal HaMesivta, Kedushas Yoel branch. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim:
The bochur Moshe Yechiel Yuda Mendlowitz.
The bochur Yitzchak Moshe Weiss.
The bochur Yoel Shalomon.
The Rebbe approached the Hallel and was called up as the fourth aliyah during the Torah reading.
After davening, a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochurim in his private room.

In the afternoon the Rebbe went up to the Heichal HaYeshiva, Vayoel Moshe branch, where the Rebbe learned with a chavrusa in his private room. At around 5:40 the Rebbe davened Mincha in the yeshiva.

At around 6:15 the Rebbe went over to the levaya of HaGaon HaTzaddik, rosh yeshiva R' Shimon Grunbaum zt"l, author of the sefarim Siyata D'Shmaya, which took place in front of the Beis Medrash HaGadol in the presence of thousands of chassidim. By directive of the Rebbe shlit"a, the yeshiva students also took part in the levaya.
Eulogies were delivered, via a hookup, by HaGaon HaAdir Rabbi Elkum Schlesinger shlit"a, rosh yeshiva of Yeshivas HaRama in London, and by the HaGaon HaGadol, the av beis din of Kiryas Joel shlit"a, as well as by his student R' Yitzchak Eliezer Waldman shlit"a and his son-in-law HaRav R' Aharon Yosef Rosenbaum shlit"a.
Afterwards the Rebbe delivered words of eulogy in a voice of weeping and mourned the irreplaceable loss. He expressed his attachment to our holy Rebbes, the Divrei Yoel and the Beirach Moshe zy"a, as the faithful emissary to convey the pure teachings of the Rebbe zy"a regarding the gravity of the impure elections for the Jews in Eretz Yisroel, and about his tremendous commentary on the Mishnayos, which brought the Mishnayos to understanding for every Jew. The Rebbe said that Rabbeinu HaKadosh, the compiler of the Mishnayos, surely is grateful to him, and he asked the esteemed deceased to be a good advocate for his entire family and for all of Klal Yisroel.
Afterwards, via a hookup from Eretz Yisroel, the posek hador and moreh d'asra of the holy land shlit"a delivered a eulogy, and then the Rebbe accompanied the bier together with the entire congregation for a while and afterwards went home to his holy residence.

In the evening the Rebbe officiated at the kiddushin at the chuppah of the following mechutanim:
HaRav R' Yitzchak Shalom Friedman shlit"a, a moreh tzedek - R' Shlomo Zalman Weiss, at Kinor David hall.
R' Shmuel Leib Fried - Rabbi Dovid Lichtenstein shlit"a, at Beis Rachel Paradise hall.

After the chuppos the Rebbe comforted the mourner R' Yoel Weiss, on the loss of his son a"h.

Entry times to the Rebbe were from 8:15 until 11:45 at night, at his holy residence on Ohel Court.

The Rebbe shlit"a read the tenaim at the tenaim hall in his holy residence for the mechutanim Rabbi Zalman Leib Philipp shlit"a - R' Wolf Lichtenstein.

After the tenaim the Rebbe davened Maariv and then continued receiving the public.

Shabbos Kodesh, Parshas Korach, Rosh Chodesh Tammuz — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

Before candle lighting, the Rebbe put on the shtreimel for the chasanim.
The chasan Chaim Shlomo the bochur, son of Shmuel Aharon Singer.
The chasan Mordechai Ephraim Fishel the bochur, son of Yisroel Simcha Landau.
The chasan Yoshe, son of HaRav R' Yitzchak Shalom Friedman shlit"a.

Friday night at around 9:05 the Rebbe entered the beis medrash wrapped in his tallis and went up to daven Mincha and Kabbalas Shabbos; the chazan was R' Yochanan Mann.
The davening ended at around 10:40. The congregation went over to wish a good Shabbos, and the Rebbe went into his private room.

At around 11:10 the Rebbe entered the tish in the Heichal HaShulchanos together with the talmidim of the mesivta, and began, as is his holy way, with Shalom Aleichem with feeling and sweetness.
Eshes Chayil: the grandson of the Rebbe, the bochur Yissachar Ber Tov, son of the Rav of Beis Medrash Beirach Moshe, HaGaon HaRav Rabbi shlit"a; Hagbahas HaKos (raising of the cup): the grandson of the Rebbe, HaRav Meir Yehuda Ashkenazi shlit"a, son-in-law of the Rav of Beis Medrash Avnei Tzedek shlit"a.

The Rebbe shlit"a honored people with the zemiros. Kol Mekadesh: R' Yoshe Eisen (Williamsburg); Menucha V'Simcha: HaRav R' Chaim Yaakov Safrin shlit"a, Rav of the Komarna beis medrash in Yerushalayim.

The Rebbe shlit"a said Torah on the verse "Vayikach Korach" and explained, in the manner of derush, the sugya of "ein aseh docheh lo sa'aseh in the Mikdash," and in another manner, in the way of aggadah, that the dispute between Korach and Moshe Rabbeinu was whether teshuva helps for the sin of the Golden Calf.

Stories and accounts: this week the Rebbe shlit"a told about the holy Rabbi Yoshe Heshel of Komarna zt"l, son of the holy Baruch Taam zy"a, whose yahrzeit falls on Wednesday, 4 Tammuz.

Uvayom HaShabbos Kodesh

On Shabbos morning the Rebbe entered the beis medrash at around 9:40. Berachos and Pesukei D'Zimra: R' Yisroel Simcha Landau; the Rebbe went up for Shacharis and Hallel.

Hotzaah and Hachnasah (taking out and returning the Torah): R' Chaim Eliyahu Teitelbaum and R' Yitzchak Singer (Williamsburg); Pesukei Shema Yisroel: HaGaon HaRav R' Meir Zwibel shlit"a, one of the rabbonim of our holy kehilla in Williamsburg.

The Rebbe went up for Mussaf in honor of Shabbos Rosh Chodesh; the opening of Anim Zemiros: R' Yosef Yehuda Jacobowitz (Williamsburg).

After davening a bris took place for the newborn son of R' Avrohom son of R' Shmuel Jacobowitz, at which the Rebbe was sandek. The tish ended at around 1:15.

In the afternoon at around 7:45 the Rebbe entered the beis medrash for Pirkei Avos. The Rebbe began with Perek 4, Mishnah 11: "Rabbi Eliezer ben Yaakov says: One who performs one mitzvah acquires for himself one advocate." "One mitzvah" refers to peru urevu, emunah, Kriyas Shema, and bris milah, and he explained it in 16 ways in the manner of derush and aggadah. He gave mussar in preparation for the summer days, may they come in peace, and urged being careful with shemiras einayim and shemiras habris, and thereby acquiring an advocate for the Day of Judgment, and concluded with his holy blessing. It ended at around 8:45, and the Rebbe went into his private room.
Ra'avah D'Ra'avin

The Rebbe entered the beis medrash for Mincha and Shalosh Seudos at around 9:00. Mincha: R' Avrohom Moshe Taub. Hotzaah and Hachnasah: R' Avrohom Moshe Heiman (London). Kohen: R' Yitzchak Elyakim Schwartz. Levi: R' Yoshe Eisen. Shlishi: R' Chaim Ber Adler. Hagbah: the Rebbe shlit"a. Gelilah: R' Mendel Frankel.

At Shalosh Seudos the Rebbe honored people with the zemiros. Odeh: R' Noach Gefen; Shir HaMaalos: R' Moshe Goldstein.

The Rebbe shlit"a spoke on the verse "Vayikach Korach" and explained that by not indulging in the pleasures of this world, one can draw kedusha-vitality from Yaakov Avinu and never be pushed away from kedusha. Now, in the summer days, one must see not to slacken from anything from the whole year, and prepare for the holy days.

Maariv for Motzei Shabbos: R' Shaul Leib Zaldan. After Havdalah the congregation went over to wish a gutte voch. It ended at around 11:15.
