Wednesday, Parshas Re'eh — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a
In the morning, before Shacharis, a bris took place for the newborn son of R' Meir Eli Wertheimer, at which the Rebbe served as sandek.
The Rebbe davened Shacharis in the Heichal HaMesivta, Yoel Moshe branch. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochur, the bochur Avrohom Yitzchak Markowitz.
After davening, the Rebbe led the daily Tehillim shiur on chapter 22, verse 25. Afterwards, a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochur in the Rebbe's private room.
After Shacharis, the Rebbe paid a condolence call to HaRav HaChassid R' Yosef Klein and family, who are sitting shiva for his son a"h.
In the evening, the Rebbe paid a condolence call to the family of HaRav HaChassid R' Chaim Shmuel Spielman a"h.
At around 7:30, the Rebbe went to the home of HaRav HaChassid R' Yehoshua Mordechai son of R' Michel Schlesinger in the Briganden area of Kiryas Joel, to the Sheva Brachos in honor of the simcha of his brother-in-law, the esteemed and distinguished R' Yitzchak Eizik Greenfeld, one of the leading benefactors of the magnificent building of the Shul-Hoif in the city of Sighet, may it be rebuilt. The Rebbe greeted his father, HaRav HaChassid R' Nosson, wishing him a speedy recovery, and a lengthy conversation ensued about the history of the trips to Sighet after the war, about the yearning of the Divrei Yoel zy"a to travel there again to prostrate himself at the graves of his holy forefathers zy"a, and about the trips of his father, the Beirach Moshe zy"a, to Sighet. The Rebbe drank a lechayim and bestowed his holy blessings upon the chassan, the mechutanim and the family members.
At around 8:10, the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy home on Ohel Court. Afterwards, there were times for entry to the Rebbe in the kodesh until 1:30 at night.
The Rebbe shlit"a read the tenaim of the following mechutanim: HaRav HaChassid R' Yaakov Chaim Landau - HaRav HaChassid R' Yoel Feuerstein. HaRav HaChassid R' Dovid Kaufman - HaRav HaChassid R' Yoel Weiss.
The Rebbe davened Maariv at around 12:45, and afterwards continued receiving the public.

ארום 7:30 איז דער רבי אריבער אין שטוב פון הרה"ח ר' יושע מרדכי ב"ר מיכל שלעזינגער הי"ו אין די בריגעדאן געגנט אין קרית יואל, צו די שבע ברכות לרגל השמחה בבית גיסו הרבני הנגיד ר' יצחק אייזיק בר"נ גרינפעלד הי"ו מגדולי הנדיבים לבנין המפואר שוהל-הויף בעיר סיגעט יע"א. דער רבי האט זיך באגריסט מיט זיין פאטער הרה"ח ר' נתן הי"ו לרפו"ש, און עס האט זיך פארצויגן א לענגערע שמועס איבער די היסטאריע פון די נסיעות קיין סיגעט נאך די קריג, און איבער די השתוקקות פון רביה"ק בעל דבר"י זיע"א צוריק צו פארן להשתטח על קברי אבותיו הק' זיע"א, און די נסיעות פון מר אביו רביה"ק הברך משה זיע"א קיין סיגעט. דער רבי האט געטרינקן לחיים און מאציל געווען מברכות קדשו פארן חתן, די מחותנים און די בני המשפחה.
