Thursday, Parshas Ki Seitzei 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Rebbe davened Shacharis in Heichal HaMesivta, Branch Beirach Moshe. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochur, the bochur Yaakov Meir Weiss.
During the Torah reading the Rebbe went up for Hagbah, and after davening the shofar was blown and the Rebbe recited the daily Tehillim shiur, on chapter 23, verse 1. Afterwards a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochur in the Rebbe's private room.

At about 1:35 the Rebbe arrived at the Yeshiva Gedolah, Branch Beirach Moshe, where the Rebbe delivered the first shiur on the sugya of 'mitzvos lav lehenos nitnu' as preparation for the Shabbos Shuvah derasha. It ended at about 2:10.

At about 6:30 a group of talmidim of Yeshiva Gedolah Imrei Chaim Vizhnitz Monsey entered the Rebbe's room, led by the Vizhnitz Monsey Rebbe shlit"a together with his grandson, the mashgiach, HaGaon Rabbi Menachem Meir Hager shlit"a. The Rebbe examined the bochurim for a considerable time on their studies in Shulchan Aruch, the halachos of basar v'chalav, and the bochurim then received the Rebbe's blessing.

Reception hours in the Rebbe's room were from 7:00 until 12:45 at night, at his holy residence on Uhel Court.

In the evening at about 7:30 the Rebbe officiated at the kiddushin at the chuppah of the following mechutanim:
R' Efraim Teitelbaum - R' Yaakov Chaim Pollack, at Ulam Beis Rochel Paradise.
R' Chaim Yosha Aryeh Goldberger - R' Hershel Stern, at Ulam Ginat Klein.

After the chuppos, at about 8:00, the Rebbe davened Mincha at his holy residence, and after Mincha continued to receive the public.

During the reception hours, HaGaon Rabbi Asher Margaliot shlit"a, Rav of Kehillas Ohel Moshe Vienna, Austria, entered the Rebbe's room. A pleasant conversation took place, and the Rebbe entrusted him with his holy blessing and additionally wished him a special mazel tov on the occasion of the wedding of his grandson, which took place this week.

The Rebbe shlit"a read the tenaim of the following mechutanim:
R' Yoel Brach - R' Yitzchak Buxbaum.
R' Zalman Leib Zofnik - R' Chaim Mordechai Schnitzer.

The Rebbe davened Maariv at about 11:20, and afterwards continued to receive the public.

Wednesday, Parshas Ki Seitzei — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Rebbe davened Shacharis in Heichal HaMesivta, the Veyoel Moshe branch. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochur Hillel Herskowitz.
After davening, the Rebbe blew the shofar and led the daily Tehillim shiur, on chapter 23, verse 3. Afterward, a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochur in the Rebbe's private room.

At around 6:40 the Rebbe arrived at the newly completed location of the Gemach Shaarei Tovah - Chesed Menachem Zev, adjacent to the Beis Medrash HaGadol, which was built next to the Beis Medrash HaGadol for the benefit of thousands of families. The Rebbe affixed a mezuzah at the entrance, toured the premises, and heard a report from R' Avrohom Yoshe Glantz, one of the heads of the gemach. Afterward a lechayim gathering was held, during which a pleasant conversation developed about the many improvements made at the new location, and it was noted that during the past twenty years since the gemach opened, the enormous sum of over one hundred and forty million dollars has been lent out!
The Rebbe drank a lechayim and warmly wished well to the benefactor of the gemach, the esteemed philanthropist R' Akiva Tzvi Klein, and to the heads of the kehilla and the gemach askanim.

Afterward, the Rebbe crossed over to the adjacent shtiebel, which was built for the bedek habayis needs of the many smaller building projects of the Beis Medrash HaGadol. The Rebbe toured the premises and heard a report from R' Dovid Eckstein, from the Rebbe's gabbaim, about the many preparations in the Beis Medrash HaGadol for the month of Tishrei, may it come upon us for good. He then affixed a mezuzah at the entrance and bestowed his holy blessing.

Entry hours were from 7:00 until 11:40 at night, at the Rebbe's holy residence on Ohel Court.

In the evening at around 7:20, the Rebbe officiated at the kiddushin at the chuppah of the following mechutanim:
HaRav Nosson Dov, son of R' Shraga Zalman Schwartz shlit"a - R' Chaim Hersh Roth, at Kinor David hall.
R' Yoel, son of R' Moshe Zev Friedrich - R' Avrohom Palacsek, at Beis Rachel Paradise hall.

After the chuppahs, at around 7:45, the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy residence.

The Rebbe shlit"a read the tenaim for the mechutanim R' Yosef Leib Sander (and his family) - R' Shmuel Binyomin Falkowitz.

After the tenaim, the Rebbe davened Maariv, and then continued receiving the public.

Tuesday, Parshas Ki Seitzei — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Rebbe davened Shacharis in the Heichal HaMesivta, Etz Chaim branch – Shiur Gimmel. Before davening, the Rebbe put on tefillin with the bar mitzvah bochurim.
The bochur Yisroel Neiman.
The bochur Yoel Gelbstein.
The bochur Mendel Oppenheim.

After davening, the Rebbe blew the shofar and recited the daily Tehillim shiur, on chapter 23, verse 1.

After davening, a bris took place in the Heichal HaYeshiva for the newborn son of R' Yaakov Friedman, where the Rebbe served as sandek and mohel. Afterwards, a lechayim gathering was held with the bar mitzvah bochurim and the family of the baal bris in the Heichal HaBeis Medrash.

In the afternoon hours, the Rebbe traveled to Williamsburg for the weekly reception hours.
The reception hours in Kiryas Joel were from 5:30 until 11:15 at night, in his holy home on Hewes St.

At around 7:20, the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy home.

During the reception hours, the mechutanim HaRav HaGaon R' Hershel Meisels shlit"a, Rav of our beis medrash Beis Nachum Dov in Williamsburg, son of the Gaon Av Beis Din of Montreal shlit"a, and HaGaon R' Avrohom Meir Halberstam shlit"a, dayan of our beis medrash at 18 in Boro Park, son-in-law of the Gaon, Rav of our kehilla in Boro Park at 15 shlit"a, entered the Rebbe's room to receive his holy blessings and to invite the Rebbe shlit"a to the wedding simcha of his son/daughter, which will take place next Wednesday, Parshas Ki Savo, in Boro Park, and the Rebbe bestowed his holy blessings.

The Rebbe davened Maariv at 10:45 and then continued receiving people.

After the reception hours, the Rebbe traveled to Boro Park to comfort the mourners, the Skulen Rebbes shlit"a, who are sitting shiva for their brother/father, the Skulen Rebbe zt"l. The Rebbe arrived at the Skulen beis medrash at around 11:50. A warm conversation ensued about the connection of the Skulen tzaddikim zy"a with our holy Rebbes zy"a, and about the beautiful Shabbosos that the niftar, the Rebbe zt"l, spent in Kiryas Joel during the summer weeks of the past three years. The Rebbe spoke of the great loss with his passing, and offered the blessing of consolation. Afterwards, the Rebbe returned to his holy home in Kiryas Joel.

Monday, Parshas Ki Seitzei — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

This morning, before Shacharis, a bris took place for the newborn son of R' Yosef Katz, at which the Rebbe was the sandek.

The Rebbe davened Shacharis in the hall of the Yeshiva Ketana branch Yaitav Panim, under the direction of HaGaon Rabbi Chaim Leib Zilberstein shlit"a.
The Rebbe lit 5 candles and led the davening as chazan on the occasion of the yahrzeit of his grandfather, the holy Heitav Lev zy"a.
During the Torah reading, the Rebbe was called up for the third aliyah, and after davening the shofar was blown.

After Shacharis, a lechayim gathering took place in the beis medrash hall on the occasion of the hilula. Songs of inspiration were sung, and the Rebbe drank lechayim and wished the rebbeim and talmidim of the yeshiva well. He related holy stories about the greatness and perfection of the baal hilula zy"a, and concluded with his holy blessing.

During the morning hours, R' Yoel Shlomo Zaldan, manager of the Kiryas Joel bakery, and R' Baruch Yehuda Spitzer, manager of the bakery of our kehilla in Williamsburg, entered for a private audience together with HaGaon Rabbi Yoel Yitzchak Stern shlit"a, dayan of the Dinov beis medrash in Kiryas Joel and one of the rabbis who supervise the wheat harvests, to receive the Rebbe's blessing as preparations are being made in these days to sign the contract for the mehudar wheat fields in Arizona for Pesach 5786. The Rebbe asked about the details, gave various instructions, and bestowed his holy blessing.

Around 5:00 the Rebbe went to the cemetery for the levaya of Rebbetzin Adler a"h, wife of HaGaon Rabbi Asher Adler shlit"a, av beis din of Sereda Monsey, a longtime principal at Beis Rachel of our holy institutions in Monsey. The Rebbe delivered words of eulogy in praise of the deceased, who educated hundreds of students, and expressed the great sorrow of the family and of the students of Beis Rachel.

Private audience hours were from 6:45 in the evening until 12:00 at night, at his holy home on Ohel Court.

In the evening around 7:15 the Rebbe officiated at the kiddushin at the chuppah of the following mechutanim:

After the chuppos, around 7:40, the Rebbe davened Mincha at his holy home. The Rebbe lit 5 candles and approached the amud.

Sunday, Parshas Ki Seitzei, 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

In the morning, before Shacharis, the following brissen took place:
The son born to R' Elikim Yuda Greenwald, where the Rebbe was the sandek.
The son born to R' Yaakov Kornbluh, where the Rebbe was the sandek.

The Rebbe davened Shacharis in the Heichal HaMesivta, Divrei Yoel branch. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim:
The bochur Asher Zebel.
The bochur Avrohom Yitzchak Meir Wertzberger.

After davening, the Rebbe blew the shofar and recited the daily Tehillim shiur, on chapter 23, verse 3. Afterwards a lechayim took place with the bar mitzvah bochurim in the Rebbe's private room.

At around 2:30, the Rebbe set out on the way to Monsey for the annual reception of the community, to bless and be blessed in anticipation of the Days of Mercy and Favor, IY"H.

Upon arriving in Monsey at around 3:00, the Rebbe first came to the building of Beis Rachel HaChadash, "Binyan Eliyahu Neustadt," which had been newly renovated for the new school year. The Rebbe greeted the distinguished benefactor, R' Eli Neustadt, and the administration of the mosdos, affixed a mezuzah on the main entrance, and honored the HaGaon, Av Beis Din of Monsey shlit"a, and the distinguished benefactor with affixing a mezuzah.
Afterwards the Rebbe went inside and toured the entire building, and heard a report from the director of the mosdos, R' Shmuel Zanvil Wertheimer.
Then a lechayim gathering took place. R' Isamar Tuvia Schwartz shlit"a performed, several niggunim were sung, and the Rebbe drank lechayim and blessed the distinguished benefactor and the entire community. He shared words of Torah about the joy of the moment, and concluded with abundant blessings for the benefactor and the entire community. It ended at around 3:30.

Afterwards the Rebbe traveled to the Skulen beis medrash in Monsey, where the Rebbe waited for the bier of the Skulen Rebbe zt"l to arrive, and then accompanied the funeral procession, escorting the bier for a few minutes.

At around 4:30 the Rebbe arrived at the main beis medrash for the reception in anticipation of the Days of Mercy and Favor, for the hundreds of community members of Monsey who entered the holy chamber to present their requests for salvation and mercy.
First the students of the mosdos entered and brought in larger sums, and the Rebbe distributed a gift of a Zemiros book to all the bochurim and bestowed his holy blessing.

At around 8:00 the Rebbe davened Mincha in the Polish heichal, with R' Aharon Hersh Weber as the baal tefillah. After Mincha the reception continued.

At around 9:30 the Rebbe came in for Maariv, where the Rebbe greeted his brother, HaGaon, Rav of our kehilla in Boro Park, 15 shlit"a. The Rebbe lit 5 candles and went up to the amud on the occasion of the holy hilula of his grandfather, our master and teacher, the holy Gaon, the Yetev Lev zy"a.

After a short time, at around 10:00, the Rebbe came into the beis medrash hall for the tish in honor of the holy hilula. At the lechayim after the fish, the Rebbe said: "May his merit protect us and all Israel."

During the seudah, niggunim of inspiration were sung, and with Michtam L'Dovid the Rebbe honored the Tzaddik Rabbi Aharon Teitelbaum shlit"a, Rav of Beis Medrash Eitz Chaim Sigut Monsey.

The Rebbe shlit"a shared words of Torah from the teachings of the one whose hilula it is, along with words of preparation for the Yamim Noraim. He spoke about the greatness of the Yetev Lev zy"a, and said that the Yetev Lev commanded his children to bestow all good by reciting the verse "So shall you bless the children of Israel; say to them," and thus the power of the One who sends is present and brings down all blessings. He spoke in praise of our holy kehilla in Monsey with all its divisions, urged davening in our batei medrash throughout the city, and mentioned that today a new building for Beis Rachel was renovated. He also praised both branches of the yeshivos ketanos in Monsey, "Yeshiva Kinyan Torah" and "Yeshiva Darkei HaTorah." He concluded with abundant blessings for the entire community.

For Birkas Hamazon the Rebbe honored the HaGaon, Av Beis Din of Monsey shlit"a. After bentching the Rebbe recited Sheva Brachos for a chasan of the Monsey community. It ended at around 11:10.

After the tish the Rebbe continued receiving the community until around 12:00 past midnight.
Afterwards the Rebbe went over to the home of the prominent young man R' Hershel Wertheimer, where a cornerstone-laying ceremony took place for the new beis medrash in the West Maple neighborhood, "Beis Medrash Lev Aharon," which is being built by R' Hershel.
First, the start of writing a Sefer Torah took place, which is being written by R' Hershel. The Rebbe wrote in the letters, several niggunim were sung, and the Rebbe drank lechayim and shared from his holy blessings. A pleasant conversation took place about the expansion of the borders of holiness in Monsey. Afterwards the Rebbe poured the cornerstone for the beis medrash into a special glass, and honored the HaGaon, Av Beis Din of Monsey shlit"a, the distinguished benefactor and his family, and the leaders of our holy kehilla with pouring. Once more he warmly blessed R' Hershel and his whole family with abundant blessings.

At around 12:45 the Rebbe set out for home to Kiryas Joel.
