Yesterday, Sunday afternoon, a special meeting took place in the holy home of the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a, with high-ranking political officials: the local Congressman Pat Ryan, and his superior Hakeem Jeffries, the Democratic minority leader, together with the askan R' Simcha Eichenstein, New York Assemblyman, and with the leaders and askanim of Kiryas Joel, may it be established.
The Rebbe made clear that the first and most important matter to address is the decree against chinuch that hangs over our brethren, Bnei Yisroel, in the greater New York area, and that all the other benefits we need are worth nothing if the decree against chinuch remains in force, Rachmana litzlan. Several ways were raised in which the federal government can be helpful, and they promised to do everything in their ability in this area.

Afterwards, many other matters of concern to our brethren, Bnei Yisroel, and especially to the residents of Kiryas Joel, were discussed: the continued expansion of the borders, affordable housing, and government assistance in paying the high costs of rent, which can be helpful to many of our brethren, and various other matters.
Afterwards, the Rebbe bestowed from his holy blessing upon the politicians in honor of the upcoming elections in America, and he especially extended good wishes to R' Simcha Eichenstein for his constant readiness in the world of askanus in every single detail.

Shabbos Kodesh, Parshas Ki Savo — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

Before candle-lighting time, the Rebbe put on the shtreimel for the chasanim:
The chasan Yitzchak Tuvia, the bochur, son of Yoel Wolf Schwartz.
The chasan Avrohom Yosef, the bochur, son of Meir Berger.

On Friday night at around 7:25, the Rebbe entered the beis medrash wrapped in his tallis and approached the amud for Mincha. Kabbalas Shabbos: R' Moshe Siman. The davening concluded at around 9:00; the congregation went over to wish a gut Shabbos, and the Rebbe went into his private room.

At around 9:30, the Rebbe entered the holy tish in the Heichal HaShulchanos together with the talmidim of the mesivta, and began, in his usual way, Shalom Aleichem with feeling and sweetness.
Eishes Chayil: the Rebbe's grandson, the bochur Yissachar Ber Tov, son of the Rebbe's son-in-law HaGaon HaTzaddik, the Rav of the beis medrash Berach Moshe shlit"a. Raising of the cup: R' Yitzchak HaKohen Friedman.

The Rebbe shlit"a said Torah on the verse "And now behold, I have brought the first of the fruit of the ground," and explained, in the manner of a derush, the sugya of the mitzvos not being given for personal benefit.

On Shabbos morning the Rebbe entered the beis medrash at around 9:40. Birchos and Pesukei D'Zimra: HaGaon R' Chaim Leib Silberstein shlit"a; the Rebbe approached the amud for Shacharis.

Hotzaah and Hachnasah: R' Ezra Bennett (Boro Park). The verses of Shema Yisroel: the bochur, R' Yehoshua Mendlowitz.

Due to the many simchas, may they increase, and because of Parshas HaTochacha, when it is difficult to add additional aliyos, the Rebbe did not receive an aliyah at Shacharis and instructed that his aliyah be given away; only the chasanim were called up. The Rebbe received an aliyah at Mincha.

Gelilah: R' Ozer Friedman (Antwerp).

At Shalosh Seudos, the Rebbe honored people with the zemiros. Odeh: R' Noach Gefen. Shir HaMaalos: R' Moshe Goldstein.

The Rebbe shlit"a said Torah on the verse "And now behold, I have brought the first of the fruit of the ground," and explained that Hashem forgives and pardons through teshuva and good deeds, by overlooking [sins] one by one and nullifying the few aveiros within the abundance of mitzvos. But if, chas v'shalom, there are no mitzvos, because the external forces have taken them away, the counsel is through accepting the yoke of Heaven, by reciting Krias Shema morning and evening properly, which brings back all the mitzvos and good deeds, and thus teshuva works.
Yedid Nefesh: R' Efraim Stern. Kel Mistater: R' Sundel Drommer. The Rebbe made the blessing over the cup and recited Sheva Brachos.

Maariv of Motzei Shabbos: R' Naftali Hirtzka Kohn. After Havdalah, the congregation went over to wish a gutte voch. The davening concluded at around 9:50.

At around 12:15, HaGaon Rabbi Moshe Trachtman shlit"a, chairman of Maaseh Choshev of Eretz Yisroel, came to visit the Rebbe in his home. A learned conversation ensued on various sugyos of the Shas, and the Rebbe bestowed his holy blessing upon him and invited him to come and take part in the siyum on Maseches Kiddushin by the ninth-grade "Machina L'Yeshiva" class.

After the visit, the Rebbe went over to the halls of Beis Rochel Paradise for the siyum on Maseches Kiddushin by over 450 talmidim of the ninth-grade "Machina L'Yeshiva" class, may they increase, from both branches of the mosdos of Kiryas Joel, with the participation of the parents and grandfathers of the bochurim.
HaGaon R' Wolf Aharon Teller shlit"a continued with his address, and rhymes were sung. The Rebbe drank a lechayim and wished the entire gathering well, and delivered words of holy inspiration, emotionally emphasizing the greatness of so many hundreds of bochurim completing Maseches Kiddushin, which is a great source of nachas for the holy Rebbe zy"a, founder of the city, in the World Above. He concluded with many blessings to the parents, grandfathers and all the bochurim.
Afterwards the Rebbe distributed a Zemiros Berach Moshe to all the bochurim. The event concluded at around 1:10.

Afterwards the Rebbe went over to the Dinov beis medrash in Kiryas Joel for the Sheva Brachos simcha arranged by the beis medrash in his honor, by the dayan of the beis medrash, HaGaon R' Yoel Yitzchak Stern shlit"a. The Dinov Rebbe shlit"a also participated. A pleasant conversation ensued, and the Rebbe related holy stories about the connection between the holy Kedushas Yom Tov zy"a and the holy Darchei Teshuva of Munkatch zy"a. The Rebbe drank a lechayim and wished the Dinov Rebbe shlit"a an extra mazel tov on the simcha of the marriage of his granddaughter, and then wished the chasan, the mechutanim and the entire gathering well.

Friday, Erev Shabbos, Parshas Ki Savo — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Rebbe davened Shacharis in the hall of the Yeshiva Ketana, Hashiv Moshe branch, under the direction of HaGaon Rabbi Shimon Avrohom Roth shlit"a, in the Talmud Torah building 'Binyan Hirsch G"B Landau'. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochur, the bochur Chaim Binyamin Kohn.
After davening, the Rebbe blew the shofar and recited ten chapters of Tehillim, as is customary during the month of Elul.

After Shacharis, a lechayim gathering took place in the hall of the beis medrash. Several nigunim were sung, and Yosef son of R' Yoel Rosenberg and Yisroel son of R' Eizik Hersh Berkowitz made a siyum on Maseches Gittin and Maseches Makkos, which had been studied as part of the yeshiva's program. The Rebbe drank lechayim and extended good wishes to the bar mitzvah bochur, the rebbeim of the yeshiva and the talmidim of the yeshiva, and delivered words of his holy Torah and preparation toward the Days of Mercy and Favor, IY"H, and concluded with his holy blessing.
Afterward, the Rebbe distributed his sefer Lev Aharon - Devarim to all the talmidim of the yeshiva who had completed the masechtos.

Thursday, Parshas Ki Savo — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

In the morning, before Shacharis, a bris took place here for the newborn son of R' Yaakov Lazar, at which the Rebbe served as sandek.

The Rebbe davened Shacharis in the beis medrash of the Mesivta, Beirach Moshe branch. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim.

During the Torah reading the Rebbe went to hagbah, and after davening the shofar was blown and the Rebbe said the daily Tehillim shiur, on chapter 23, verse 1. Afterwards a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochurim in the Rebbe's private room.

After Shacharis the Rebbe went to the new home of the son-in-law of the Rebbe's family, the HaGaon HaTzaddik, rav of beis medrash Kol Eliyahu shlit"a, in the expanded Beirach Moshe neighborhood (primarily Enclave). The Rebbe looked around the apartment, affixed a mezuzah, drank lechayim, and bestowed from his holy blessings.

At about 1:45 the Rebbe arrived at Yeshiva Gedolah, Beirach Moshe branch, where the Rebbe delivered the fourth sugya shiur, on the sugya of "Mitzvos lav lehenos nitnu," as preparation for the Shabbos Shuva derashah. It concluded at about 2:20.

Reception hours in the Rebbe's residence were from 6:00 until 12:20 at night, in his holy home on Ohel Court.

During reception hours, the Rebbe was visited in his residence by the Shevet HaLevi Rebbe shlit"a of Eretz Yisroel, who came to give and receive blessings for the new year. A pleasant conversation took place and the Rebbe bestowed from his holy blessings upon him.

At about 6:40 the Rebbe arrived at the cemetery in Kiryas Joel for the levaya of R' Shalom Yosef Gottlieb a"h.

Afterwards the Rebbe went to the home of R' Nate Hauser, where the completion of the letters of the Sefer Torah was held, which was written by the talmidim of Yeshiva Gedolah, Shiur Daled, l'iluy nishmas the bochur Shlomo Zalman a"h, son of R' Avrohom Mordechai Weber, one of the outstanding talmidim of the yeshiva, and which was brought in at night to the yeshiva's beis medrash. The Rebbe wrote in the final letters, drank lechayim, and bestowed from his holy blessings. Songs of inspiration were sung, after which the Rebbe went to hagbah and danced with the open Sefer Torah. R' Avrohom Mordechai Weber was honored with gelilah, and the Rebbe continued the holy dancing with fiery fervor. It concluded at about 7:15.

At about 7:20 the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy home.

At about 7:45 the Rebbe officiated at the kiddushin under the chuppah of the following mechutanim.
R' Simcha Halpert - R' Naftali Hirtzka Brach, at Ginas Klein hall, and then returned to his holy home and continued the reception hours.

Wednesday, Parshas Ki Savo — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Rebbe davened Shacharis at around 7:30 in the morning in the Chadar Zichron Zev of our great beis medrash in Williamsburg. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim.

The Rebbe lit 5 candles and said Kaddish on the occasion of the yahrzeit of his grandfather, the holy Gaon of Valova zy"a, and after davening the shofar was blown.

After Shacharis, a bris of a newborn son took place by R' Avrohom Yitzchak Mertz, where the Rebbe served as sandek and mohel.

After Shacharis the Rebbe shlit"a traveled, as already widely reported, to Trump Tower in Manhattan for an advocacy meeting with the son and senior campaign staff of the former president and current presidential candidate Trump.

Afterwards the Rebbe returned to Williamsburg, where the Rebbe paid a shiva call to the family of R' Shlomo Heiman a"h.
Afterwards the Rebbe went home to his residence on Hewes St.

At around 2:45 the Rebbe traveled to Boro Park.
Upon arrival at around 3:15, the Rebbe went up to the home of his grandson Rabbi Yoel Teitelbaum shlit"a, son of the Av Beis Din of Sighet shlit"a. The Rebbe affixed a mezuzah, then drank a lechayim and bestowed his holy blessings.

Afterwards the Rebbe went to the Grand Terrace hall for the Sheva Brachos celebration of the chassan, son of the philanthropist R' Yehuda Dovid Rubinstein, one of the great supporters of our holy institutions in the US and in Eretz Yisroel. A pleasant conversation took place with HaGaon Rabbi Zusha Hoisch shlit"a, Av Beis Din of Volkan, and with other rabbis shlit"a who were present. The Rebbe drank a lechayim and wished the chassan, the mechutanim and the entire assembly well, and afterwards went out in a dance with the chassan and mechutanim.
From there the Rebbe went to the home of R' Moshe Eliyahu Weinstock, where a lechayim gathering took place on the occasion of the completion of the purchase of our new beis medrash on 58th St., where he purchased the merit of the building's name, 'Beis Medrash Lev Aharon'. A pleasant conversation took place about the expansion of the holy borders of our kehilla and our holy institutions in Boro Park and in Kiryas Joel. The Rebbe looked over the plans of the beis medrash and gave a gift to his son-in-law R' Yeshaya Rottek, one of the leading askanim for the beis medrash. The Rebbe drank a lechayim and warmly blessed R' Moshe Eliyahu and his family.

Entry times for private audiences were from 5:00 in the afternoon until 12:30 at night in the private room in the great beis medrash, where hundreds of men, women and children, residents of Boro Park, entered, among them the rabbanim and dayanim of our kehilla, city rabbanim, roshei yeshiva and prominent members of the community, ahead of the days of mercy and favor, and to be remembered for salvation and mercy.

At around 7:15 the Rebbe davened Mincha in the sanctuary of the beis medrash, with the baal tefilla R' Moshe Kahana. After Mincha the Rebbe said Kaddish on the occasion of the yahrzeit of his grandfather, the holy Gaon of Valova zy"a.

Afterwards the Rebbe went to the Bobov hall, 'Ulam Heitner', where the Rebbe officiated at the kiddushin at the chuppah of the kallah, daughter of the philanthropist R' Yosef Eliezer Itzkowitz. After the chuppah he warmly wished R' Yosef Eliezer, the mechutanim and the grandfathers well.

Afterwards the Rebbe went to the Atereth Chaya halls for the chuppah of a chassan and kallah who are grandchildren of the holy Beirach Moshe zy"a. The chassan is the son of Rabbi Hershel Meisels shlit"a, rav of our beis medrash Beis Nachum Dov in Williamsburg, and of the Gaon, Av Beis Din of Montreal shlit"a. The kallah is the daughter of HaGaon Rabbi Avrohom Meir Halberstam shlit"a, dayan of our beis medrash at 18 Boro Park, and son-in-law of the Gaon, rav of our kehilla in Boro Park at 15 shlit"a.
The Rebbe was honored with reciting the kiddushin, and after the chuppah the Rebbe wished the chassan, the mechutanim, the esteemed grandfathers and the entire family well.

After a short while the Rebbe returned to the beis medrash and continued receiving the public.

During the entry times, the Sereidahel Rebbe shlit"a came for a visit. A pleasant conversation took place about the greatness of spreading Torah, through which Hashem's promise is fulfilled that "it shall not be forgotten from the mouth of his offspring," and the Rebbe bestowed his holy blessings upon him.

The Rebbe davened Maariv at around 12:40 in the sanctuary of the beis medrash, with the baal tefilla R' Moshe Kahana.

After Maariv the Rebbe walked over to the Atereth Chaya halls to the wedding celebration in our holy courts. The Rebbe greeted the rabbanim at the head table, and the badchan R' Yoshe Bruch Gross called the Rebbe shlit"a to the mitzvah tantz. The Rebbe drank a lechayim and wished the chassan, mechutanim and grandfathers well, and performed the holy dancing and danced the mitzvah tantz before the kallah for a lengthy time, and afterwards danced with the chassan and mechutanim and with all the grandchildren of the holy Beirach Moshe zy"a, and especially with his brother, the Gaon, rav of our kehilla in Boro Park at 15 shlit"a, and his brother-in-law, the Gaon, Av Beis Din of Montreal shlit"a.
On the way out, the Rebbe shlit"a wished the kallah well, as well as his sister, the Rebbetzin of Montreal shlit"a.

The Rebbe especially wished well Rabbi Aharon Teitelbaum shlit"a, rav of the Etz Chaim Sighet kehilla in Monsey, on the occasion of the engagement of his daughter, l'mazel tov.

At around 1:30 the Rebbe set out for home to his residence in Kiryas Joel.

Tuesday, Parshas Ki Savo — "B'tzeil HaKodesh" with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Rebbe davened Shacharis in the Heichal HaMesivta, Sniff Eitz Chaim - Shiur Gimmel. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim.

After davening, the Rebbe blew shofar and recited the daily Tehillim shiur, on chapter 23, verse 1. Afterwards a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochurim in the Heichal of the beis medrash, and the yeshiva students entered the Kodesh Pnimah ahead of their trip to the holy places in Europe; the Rebbe wished them well and distributed shlichus mitzvah money.

At around 1:45 the Rebbe arrived at the Yeshiva Gedolah, Sniff Bereich Moshe, where the Rebbe delivered the third sugya shiur on the sugya of "Mitzvos lav lehanos nitnu," as preparation for the Shabbos Shuvah derasha. It concluded at around 2:30.

In the afternoon hours the Rebbe traveled to Williamsburg for the weekly reception hours.

At 4:20 the Rebbe arrived at the Sheva Brachos celebration of the chasan, son of the esteemed and distinguished R' Avrohom Brach, held in his room of the library of sefarim and manuscripts, set up for the avreichim of the kollel of our beis medrash, Binyan Brach. A lengthy, pleasant conversation ensued about various nuschaos on the holy days and old customs of earlier times. The Rebbe looked through manuscripts and old sefarim from the treasuries of earlier tzaddikim and noted various interesting items from the sefarim.
The Rebbe drank lechayim and wished mazel tov to the chasan, the mechutanim, the grandfathers, and the avreichim of the kollel, and after bentching recited the Sheva Brachos, and then began dancing with the chasan and mechutanim. It concluded at around 5:20.

Reception hours in the Kodesh Pnimah ran from around 5:30 until 12:00 at night, in his holy home on Hewes St.

At around 7:20 the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy home.

During the reception hours, the Melitz Rebbe shlit"a visited the Kodesh Pnimah to give and receive blessings for the Days of Mercy and Favor. A pleasant conversation ensued, and among other things he conveyed greetings from Kiryas Yoel Moshe in Monticello, following his stay there during the past summer months. The Rebbe honored him with a lechayim and bestowed his holy blessings upon him.

Also entering the Kodesh Pnimah to give and receive blessings for the Days of Mercy and Favor were HaGaon HaTzaddik, the Av Beis Din of Beis Aharon shlit"a, and HaGaon R' Shmuel Dovid Sachs shlit"a, dayan of Beis Medrash Binyan Gelbstein.

The Rebbe davened Maariv at around 10:40. After Maariv the Rebbe recited Kaddish on the occasion of the yahrzeit of his ancestor, the holy Rabbi Yisroel Yaakov Yukel of Valova zy"a, and then continued receiving the public.
