Wednesday, Parshas Chayei Sarah, 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

In the morning, before Shacharis, a bris took place for a newborn son of R' Chaim Yuda Friedman, where the Rebbe served as sandek.

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in Heichal HaMesivta, Sneif Vayoel Moshe. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim:
the bochur Yoel Hershkowitz.
the bochur Yekusiel Yissachar Dov Markowitz.
the bochur Pinchas Yoel Freund.

After davening, the Rebbe recited the daily Tehillim shiur, on chapter 24, verse 5. Afterward, a lechayim took place with the bar mitzvah bochurim in his private room.

In the afternoon, the Rebbe went up to Heichal HaYeshiva, Sneif Birech Moshe, where the Rebbe learned with a chavrusa from among the yeshiva's talmidim in his private room. At around 5:00 the Rebbe davened Mincha in the yeshiva.

In the evening, the Rebbe officiated at the kiddushin at the chuppahs of the following mechutanim:
HaRav R' Fishel Kaufman shlit"a - R' Moshe Nosson Nochum Rosenberg, in the halls of Kinor Dovid.
R' Chaim Hersh Kohn - R' Yisroel Englander, in the halls of Ginas Klein.

After the chuppahs, at around 8:00, the Rebbe went over to the home of his son HaGaon Rabbi, Av Beis Din of Sighet shlit"a, in the Vayoel Moshe neighborhood, where a ceremony of writing the letters took place for the Sefer Torah being written by his father-in-law HaGaon Rabbi, Av Beis Din of Beis Aharon shlit"a, which will be brought in next week to his beis medrash, 'Beis Medrash Beis Aharon' in Williamsburg. The Rebbe wrote in the letters, and a pleasant conversation ensued about the writing of a Sefer Torah and about marriage. The Rebbe drank a lechayim and warmly blessed HaGaon Rabbi, Av Beis Din of Beis Aharon shlit"a, his son HaGaon Rabbi Hersh Elimelech Teitelbaum shlit"a, Rav of beis medrash Tefilla L'Moshe in Boro Park, HaGaon Rabbi, Av Beis Din of Sighet shlit"a, and the entire family. They concluded at around 8:30.
On the way out, the Rebbe walked down and looked over the construction work at 'Beis Medrash Yisroel Shalom' of our holy kehilla, and a pleasant conversation took place about the expansion of the boundaries of kedusha in the Vayoel Moshe neighborhood.

The reception hours in Kiryas Joel lasted from 8:35 until 11:30 after midnight, in his holy home on Ohel Court.

The Rebbe shlit"a read the tenaim of the mechutanim R' Yoel Greenfeld - R' Lipa Sandel.

The Rebbe davened Maariv at around 11:30.

Tuesday, Parshas Chayei Sarah, 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

In the morning, before Shacharis, a bris took place for a newborn son of R' Yaakov son of R' Yuda Friedman, where the Rebbe served as sandek and mohel.

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in Heichal HaMesivta, Sneif Eitz Chaim - Shiur 3. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochur Yisroel Moshe Berkowitz.

After davening, the Rebbe recited the daily Tehillim shiur, on chapter 24, verse 1. Afterward, a lechayim took place with the bar mitzvah bochurim in the Heichal of the beis medrash.

During the morning hours, the Rebbe paid a visit to the matzah bakery of our holy kehilla.

In the afternoon, at around 4:10, the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy home.

In the evening, the Rebbe shlit"a traveled to Williamsburg for the weekly reception hours.

On the way, the Rebbe shlit"a traveled to Boro Park for the wedding simcha of a grandchild of his mechutan HaGaon Rabbi, Av Beis Din of Beis Aharon shlit"a. The chassan is a grandson of HaGaon Rabbi Hersh Elimelech Teitelbaum shlit"a, Rav of our beis medrash Tefilla L'Moshe in Boro Park, and the chassan of the Rachmistrivka Rebbe shlit"a.

Upon arriving in Boro Park at around 7:00, the Rebbe first paid a shiva call to the family of R' Avrohom Moshe Lowy a"h. Afterward, the Rebbe crossed over to the Rachmistrivka great beis medrash for the wedding. The Rebbe greeted the Rabbonim, the mechutanim shlit"a, and a pleasant conversation took place. The Rebbe drank a lechayim and offered blessings to the chassan, the mechutanim, and the grandfathers, and afterward the Rebbe joined in a mitzvah dance.

At around 7:45 the Rebbe traveled to Williamsburg for the weekly reception hours.

The reception hours in Williamsburg lasted from 8:20 until 12:30 after midnight, in his holy home on Hewes St.

During the reception hours, HaGaon Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Unsdorfer shlit"a, the Zlatzitz Rebbe of Eretz Yisroel, paid a visit to the Rebbe in Williamsburg. A pleasant conversation took place, and the Rebbe shared from his holy blessings with him.

The Rebbe davened Maariv at around 11:30 and then continued receiving the public.

Monday, Parshas Chayei Sarah — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in the Heichal HaMesivta, Divrei Yoel branch. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim.
The son of HaGaon R' Yitzchak Shalom Friedman shlit"a - a moreh tzedek.
The son of R' Yosef Hersh Bennet shlit"a.
The bochur Shlomo Landau.

During the Torah reading, the Rebbe went to perform hagbah. After davening, he recited the daily Tehillim shiur, on chapter 24, verse 1. Afterward, a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochurim in the Rebbe's private room.

At around 1:15, the Rebbe arrived at the talmud torah building, the "Binyan Vider Palatchek," where the ceremony "Beginning of Gemara Study" took place for the nearly five hundred fourth-grade talmidim from the four branches of the Kiryas Yoel mosdos. The children sang several songs and rhymes in honor of the occasion. The Rebbe drank a lechayim and wished the administrators, rebbeim, and all the children well, and distributed shirayim to the grandchildren. He also delivered a few brief words of blessing to the children, expressing the joy of the children that they are now beginning to learn Gemara, and concluded with abundant blessings.
The Rebbe then distributed shirayim to the rebbeim to give out to the children. The event ended at around 1:40.

In the afternoon, the Rebbe went up to the Heichal HaYeshiva, Kedushas Yoel branch, where the Rebbe learned with a chavrusa from among the yeshiva's talmidim in his private room. At around 5:10, the Rebbe davened Mincha in the yeshiva.

In the evening, the Rebbe officiated at kiddushin at the chuppah of the following mechutanim.

R' Berel Gold - R' Yuda Weiss, in the Ginas Klein halls.

Reception hours in the Rebbe's holy home, on Uhel Court, were from 8:00 until 12:00 at night.

During reception hours, the Toldos Aharon Rebbe shlit"a, who is staying in Kiryas Joel these days for the wedding celebration of his grandson, the chosson, which takes place today, Tuesday, in the Beis Rachel Paradise halls, with the kallah being the granddaughter of the HaGaon HaGadol, the Av Beis Din shlit"a, paid a visit to the Rebbe. A fine conversation ensued about Yiddishkeit in Eretz Yisroel and about the looming draft decree in Eretz Yisroel. The Rebbe honored him with a lechayim, bestowed his holy blessing upon him, and escorted him out to the street.

The Rebbe shlit"a read the tenaim of the mechutanim R' Michel Friedman - R' Elazar Rubinfeld shlit"a.

Also held was a siyum of the writing of the letters for a Sefer Torah being written by R' Yaakov Epstein, which will be brought into the beis medrash Noam Elimelech on Lizhensk on Motzei Shabbos. The Rebbe wrote in letters, drank a lechayim, and bestowed his holy blessing.

The Rebbe davened Maariv at around 11:30 and then continued to receive the public.

Sunday, Parshas Chayei Sarah — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Satmar Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in the Heichal HaMesivta, Kedushas Yoel branch. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim.
The son of R' Yoel Zilber shlit"a of Fryman.
The bochur Yaakov Zusha Gutman.
The son of the askan R' Meshulam Tzvi Bentzion Zilberstein.
The bochur Mordechai Efraim Fishel Soffer.
The bochur Yonason Binyamin Dov Weingarten.

After davening, the Rebbe studied the daily Tehillim shiur, chapter 24, verse 1. Afterward, a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochurim in the Rebbe's private room.

After Shacharis, the Rebbe went over to the home of his grandson, Rabbi Yoshe Mordechai Elazar Lavin shlit"a, son-in-law of the Rav of the beis medrash, HaGaon Rabbi Beirach Moshe shlit"a, and grandson of the Zidichov Chareidim Rebbe shlit"a, for the upsherin of his son, the child Chananya Yom Tov Lipa, may he live. The Rebbe cut off a few hairs in the place of the tefillin, as is customary, and put on the yarmulke and tzitzis.
Afterward, the Rebbe washed for the morning meal. A lovely conversation ensued with the grandfather, the Zidichov Chareidim Rebbe shlit"a, with stories of tzaddikim of the House of Zidichov. At the bentching, the Rebbe honored the Zidichov Chareidim Rebbe shlit"a. It ended at around 1:00.

In the afternoon, the Rebbe went up to the Heichal HaYeshiva, Divrei Yoel branch, where the Rebbe learned with a chavrusa from among the yeshiva's students in his private room. At around 5:10, the Rebbe davened Mincha in the yeshiva.

In the evening, the Rebbe officiated at the kiddushin at the chuppahs of the following mechutanim.
R' Yaakov Kapel Lichtenstein (of Williamsburg) - R' Yoel Weiss, at the Kinor Dovid hall.
R' Yirmiyahu Fogel (Monsey) - R' Yisroel Isser Markowitz, at the Beis Rachel Paradise hall.
R' Reuven Rotter - R' Yoel Gross, at the Ginas Klein hall.

Reception hours in the Rebbe's room were from 8:10 until 12:15 at night, in his holy home on Ohel Court.

During the reception hours, a celebration took place marking the completion of writing the letters of the Sefer Torah that is being written by Rabbi Meir Yosef Teitelbaum shlit"a and will be brought in on Monday, Parshas Toldos, to the Beis Mordechai beis medrash. The Rebbe wrote in letters, drank a lechayim, and bestowed of his holy blessing.

Also entering the Rebbe's room was Rabbi Yosef Dovid Tirnauer shlit"a, son of the Chust Rebbe shlit"a and son-in-law of the Toldos Tzvi of Spinka Rebbe shlit"a, together with his son the chassan, may he live, to receive the Rebbe's holy blessing in honor of the wedding taking place this Wednesday in Kiryas Joel, and the Rebbe bestowed of his holy blessing.

The Rebbe davened Maariv at around 11:30 and afterward continued receiving the public.

After Maariv, a lechayim celebration was held in the Rebbe's room in honor of the engagement of the mechutanim R' Kuposiel Yisroel Fried - R' Yechiel Alter Taub. The Rebbe drank a lechayim and bestowed of his holy blessing.

Also appearing for an examination by the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a on Shulchan Aruch Yoreh Deah, part 1, were the outstanding bochurim: Yoshe, son of the philanthropist R' Wolf Perl; Shimon, son of Chaim Efraim Weiss; and Shimon Yisroel, son of Moshe Menachem Palachek — among the outstanding students of the Mesivta, V'Yoel Moshe branch.
