Friday, Erev Shabbos, Parshas Vayeira — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

In the morning, before Shacharis, a bris took place for the newborn son of R' Yosha Shaer, where the Rebbe served as sandek.

The Rebbe davened Shacharis in Heichal HaMesivta, Divrei Yoel branch.
Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on his great-grandson, the bar mitzvah boy Meir, son of R' Chaim Hersh Teitelbaum shlit"a, son-in-law of the Rav of the Beirach Moshe beis medrash shlit"a. The Rebbe put on the tefillin and then wound the straps around the fingers.

After davening, a lechayim gathering was held in the beis medrash hall on the occasion of the first putting on of tefillin. Several niggunim were sung. The Rebbe drank a lechayim, wished the bar mitzvah bochur and the entire gathering well, and delivered words of Torah on the verse "And it shall be for you as a sign upon your hand." He explained that the mitzvah of tefillin awakens the name Shad-dai, which enables one to say "Dai" (enough) to worldly desires, and then "so that the Torah of Hashem will be in your mouth." He expressed praise and thanks to Hashem that great-grandchildren are already becoming bar mitzvah. He continued with words of praise to Hashem for the great miracles that occurred this week with a great-grandchild who was injured in an accident and, b'chasdei Hashem, came away with minor wounds. He concluded with abundant blessings.
Afterward, they continued with songs of thanksgiving.

After Shacharis, the Rebbe comforted the mourner R' Menachem Yuda Ungar, who is sitting shiva for his mother a"h.

Thursday, Parshas Vayeira — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Rebbe davened Shacharis in Heichal HaMesivta, Beirach Moshe branch. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim:
- The bochur Avrohom Yosha Heshel HaKohen Glanz.
- The bochur Yosef Chaviv Masri.
- The bochur Yoel, son of Yosef Binyamin Eliezer Stern.

During the Torah reading, the Rebbe went up for Hagbah. After davening, the Rebbe learned the daily Tehillim shiur on chapter 24, verse 1. Afterward, a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochurim in the Rebbe's private room.

At around 4:45, the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy home.

In the evening, the Rebbe traveled to Boro Park for the bar mitzvah celebration of a great-grandson, the bar mitzvah boy Meir, son of R' Chaim Hersh Teitelbaum shlit"a, son-in-law of the Rav of the Beirach Moshe beis medrash shlit"a, and son-in-law of the Av Beis Din of Uhel shlit"a.

Upon arriving in Boro Park, the Rebbe first went up to a lechayim gathering in the home of R' Aharon Hersh Mittelman, chairman of Keren Melamdim, on the occasion of the wedding of his daughter, mazel tov. A pleasant conversation took place about the yahrzeit of the holy Maggid of Mezritch zy"a. The Rebbe drank a lechayim and wished the chosson, the mechutanim, the grandfathers, and the entire family well.

Afterward, the Rebbe went over to the guest residence in the home of R' Moshe Kahana, where the Rebbe davened Maariv.

After Maariv, at around 9:45, the Rebbe went over to the Skver hall for the bar mitzvah celebration. The Rebbe washed for the seudah. During the seudah, the Rebbe's grandson R' Chaim Hersh shlit"a, son-in-law of the Rav of the Beirach Moshe beis medrash shlit"a, spoke, as did the elder grandfather, the Av Beis Din of Volove shlit"a. After the soup, the bar mitzvah bochur recited the pshetl.
The Rebbe delivered words of Torah on the topic of tefillin and concluded with abundant blessings for the bar mitzvah bochur, for the entire family, and for the entire gathering.
At Birkas Hamazon, the Rebbe honored the bar mitzvah bochur. After bentching, the entire gathering came to wish the Rebbe shlit"a mazel tov. It ended at around 11:00, and the Rebbe traveled home to his holy residence in Kiryas Joel.

Wednesday, Parshas Vayeishev, "B'tzeil HaKodesh" with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in the Heichal HaMesivta, Vayoel Moshe branch. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochur, the bochur Chaim Avish Lax.

After davening, the Rebbe led the daily Tehillim shiur on chapter 24, verse 1. Afterward, a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochur in the Rebbe's private room. The gabbaim of the "Mekudashei Tira'u" campaign, in which many yeshiva students have taken it upon themselves not to speak during davening, also entered the Rebbe's room; a kvitel with the bochurim's names was handed over, and the Rebbe bestowed his holy blessing.

Around 5:15 the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy home.

In the evening the Rebbe officiated at the kiddushin at the chuppahs of the following mechutanim.
- R' Baruch Eckstein - R' Yoel Gross, in the halls of Kinor David.
- R' Shlomo Leib Ellenbogen - R' Yoel Greenhut, in the halls of Beis Rachel Paradise.
- R' Yitzchak Eizik Kraus - R' Yisroel Landau, in the halls of Ginas Klein.

The times for entering to the Rebbe were from 8:15 until 10:30 at night, in his holy home on Ohel Court.

During the time for entering, HaGaon R' Shimon Shmuel Halberstam shlit"a, Av Beis Din of Divrei Moshe in Yerushalayim, the holy city, came for a visit. A pleasant conversation took place and the Rebbe bestowed his holy blessing upon him.

The Rebbe shlit"a read the tenaim of the mechutanim R' Aharon Schwartz - R' Yoel Kaufman.

The Rebbe davened Maariv around 10:30.

After Maariv, around 11:00, the Rebbe went over to the Yismach Moshe beis medrash for the central sheva brachos arranged by the mispallelim of the beis medrash in honor of the Rebbe shlit"a and the HaGaon Rav of the beis medrash shlit"a. It was enhanced by the chazzanus selections of R' Moshe Levi Braun. The Rebbe drank a lechayim and warmly wished the chassan, the mechutanim, and the entire gathering well, after which the young man R' Avrohom Mertz performed with badchanus and rhymes in honor of the simcha.
At the bentching, the Rebbe honored the HaGaon Rav of the beis medrash shlit"a, and then the Rebbe recited the sheva brachos. Afterward, the Rebbe stood up and danced together with the chassan and all those seated at the head. It concluded around 12:10, and the Rebbe went home to his holy residence.
