Sunday, Parshas Shemos — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Rebbe davened Shacharis in the Heichal HaMesivta, Kedushas Yoel branch. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim.
- The bochur Levi Yitzchak Klein.
- The bochur Yirmiyahu Meir Goldberger.

After davening, the Rebbe recited the daily Tehillim shiur, on chapter 24, verse 1. Afterwards, a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochurim in the Rebbe's private room.

In the morning hours, the Rebbe went on his weekly visit to the mehadrin slaughterhouse.

In the afternoon, the Rebbe went up to the Heichal HaYeshiva, Kedushas Yoel branch, where the Rebbe learned with a chavrusa from among the talmidim of the yeshiva in his private room. At around 5:30 the Rebbe davened Mincha in the yeshiva.

In the evening, the Rebbe officiated at kiddushin at the chuppah of the mechutanim.

Reception hours with the Rebbe shlit"a were from 7:40 until 12:45 at night, in his holy residence on Uhel Court.

During reception hours, HaGaon HaTzaddik Rabbi Moshe Kramer shlit"a, president of the Breslov institutions in Eretz Yisroel, came for a visit with the Rebbe shlit"a. A pleasant conversation took place about his holy institutions in Eretz Yisroel, and the Rebbe bestowed upon him from his holy blessing.

The Rebbe davened Maariv at around 11:50 and then continued receiving the public.

Shabbos Kodesh, Parshas Vayechi — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

On Erev Shabbos, the Fast of Asara B'Teves, before candle-lighting time, the Rebbe put the shtreimlach on the chassanim.
- The chassan Yoel, son of HaGaon R' Zalman Leib Friedman shlit"a.
- The chassan Shalom, son of the bochur Yechezkel Frenkel.
- The chassan Shimon, son of the bochur Berish Feldman.

On Friday night at around 4:55, the Rebbe entered the beis medrash wrapped in his tallis. HaRav HaTzaddik R' Berel Glantz shlit"a of Bardiov went to the amud.

Kabbalas Shabbos: R' Yoel Berish Fish. They finished at around 6:20. After davening, the Rebbe went up to the Aron Kodesh and wished the entire congregation a good Shabbos, and then went into his private room.

At around 6:40, the Rebbe entered the holy table in the Heichal HaShulchanos together with the talmidim of the mesivta, and began, as is his custom, with Shalom Aleichem with emotion and sweetness.
Eishes Chayil: the Rebbe's grandson, the bochur Yissachar Ber Teitelbaum, son of HaGaon HaRav Tzaddik, Rav of the Beis Medrash Barach Moshe shlit"a. Lifting of the cup: Rabbi Chaim Binyomin Kahana shlit"a.

The Rebbe shlit"a honored people with the zemiros. Kol Mekadesh: the bochur Moshe, son of HaGaon R' Shimon Zev Meizlish shlit"a, grandson of the HaGaon HaKadosh, Av Beis Din of Montreal shlit"a. Menucha v'Simcha: Rabbi Moshe Yehuda Eckstein shlit"a.

The Rebbe shlit"a said Torah on the verse "And now your two sons who were born to you in the land of Egypt," and explained in the manner of a derush, in the sugya, whether teshuva helps for the three severe aveiros.

On Shabbos morning, the Rebbe entered the beis medrash at around 9:25. Brachos and Pesukei D'Zimra: R' Berel Acker. The Rebbe went to the amud for Shacharis.

The Rebbe shlit"a said Torah on the verse "And Yaakov called to his sons and said, 'Gather together,'" and explained that in our times every smallest act of service of a Jew is precious to Hashem, and is counted in Heaven even if at another time it would not have been counted, especially in the days of Shovavim, which are an auspicious time for teshuva and for rectifying one's deeds, when the gates of Heaven are open to receive those who return.

Yedid Nefesh: R' Dovid Shmuel Goldberger. Kel Mistateir: R' Yehoshua Klagsbrun. The Rebbe made a blessing over the cup and recited Sheva Brachos.

Maariv Motzei Shabbos: R' Shaul Fish. After Havdalah, the congregation went over to wish a good week. They finished at around 7:45, and the Rebbe shlit"a was escorted out with song and music, with "Ki Malachav," on the occasion of his departure for Palm Springs, California.

At around 9:15, the Rebbe traveled to the new magnificent location of the 'Kiryas Joel Meat Market' on Route 208 in the Zera Kodesh neighborhood. The Rebbe went around the entire store, the kitchen and all the rooms, and heard a report from R' Meir Hirsch. Afterwards a lechayim gathering took place, a nice conversation developed, and R' Meir Hirsch spoke.
The Rebbe drank lechayim and warmly blessed all the participants with his holy brachos, and especially the main supporter of the project, the Rabbinic philanthropist R' Chaim Hersh Oberlander. Then the Rebbe affixed a mezuzah on the main entrance. They finished at around 9:40.

From there the Rebbe went to the Beis Rochel auditorium, where a siyum on Shisha Sidrei Mishnah was taking place through 'Masmidim Ratz L'Mishnah.' Upon arrival, the Rebbe danced in place for a few minutes. The chairman, Rabbi Chaim Hersh Lebovitch shlit"a, spoke, and the children sang verses in honor of the occasion. Then the Rebbe's grandson, the bochur, son of HaGaon HaRav Tzaddik, Rav of the Beis Medrash Barach Moshe shlit"a, made the siyum on Shisha Sidrei Mishnah, and all the children said the Hadran together and Kaddish was recited. Afterwards the Rebbe stood up and danced for a longer time.
The Rebbe drank lechayim and blessed the entire gathering, and especially the principal, Rabbi Elimelech Schwartz shlit"a, and all the melamdim. He then distributed writings to the grandchildren, and delivered a dvar Torah: when making a siyum, one says "Chazak, chazak, v'nischazek," and he encouraged all the children to learn one seder after another until they complete all of Shisha Sidrei Mishnah. He concluded with his holy blessing for the children, their parents, and the leadership of the Masmidim. They finished at around 10:30.

Afterwards the Rebbe went to the Beis Medrash Imrei Noam in the Divrei Yoel neighborhood, where a pouring of the foundation pits for the mikvah being built in the beis medrash took place, together with a sheva brachos simcha arranged by the mispallelim of the beis medrash in honor of the dayan of the beis medrash, HaGaon R' Yisroel Ber Stein shlit"a.
The Rebbe first went down to the lowest level and looked around the entire space, and HaGaon R' Yisroel Ber shlit"a pointed out the area where the Heichal HaTorah will be built. Then the Rebbe poured into the pits and honored the rabbonim shlit"a who were present to pour.
Afterwards the Rebbe went up to the hall of the beis medrash for the sheva brachos simcha. The Rebbe drank lechayim and blessed the chassan, the mechutanim, the grandfathers, and the entire gathering. He delivered a dvar Torah, repeating from the holy Imrei Noam zy"a, after whom the beis medrash is named, that "HaAsfu" (gather) has the gematria of "mikvah," and he derived the teaching "One should marry a wife and afterwards learn Torah in purity." Therefore there is great joy that we are at a sheva brachos while building a mikvah, which increases purity. He concluded with many blessings, spoke in praise of the beis medrash, which is a beautiful corner of Kiryas Joel, and wished that it be "Imrei Noam" (pleasant words) for the entire community. Afterwards the Rebbe stood up and danced together with everyone, with the leaders at the head. They finished at around 11:00.

From there the Rebbe shlit"a went to the new home of his grandson Rabbi Moshe Meizlish shlit"a. The Rebbe affixed a mezuzah, drank lechayim, and shared of his holy blessing.
