Thursday, Parshas Shemos — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

At around 8:15 the Rebbe entered for Shacharis davening.
- Opening: HaGaon HaTzaddik, Av Beis Din of Reishis Chochmah shlit"a.
- First aliya: R' Pinchas Sholom Rottenberg shlit"a, son of the Kassan Rebbe shlit"a of Boro Park.
- Second aliya: HaGaon HaTzaddik, Av Beis Din of Hivnov shlit"a.
- Third aliya: the Rebbe shlit"a.
- Hagbah: the Rebbe's grandson, HaGaon R' Chaim Hersh Ashkenazi shlit"a, Rav of Beis Medrash Rav Tuv, Kiryas Joel.
- Gelilah: R' Yehoshua Heshil Wagschal.

After Shacharis the Rebbe walked home to his holy residence, and a pleasant conversation took place about the mitzvah of writing a Sefer Torah.

In the late afternoon, at around 5:35, the Rebbe shlit"a entered for Mincha davening. Between Mincha and Maariv the Rebbe was engaged in his learning, and at the time of Rabbeinu Tam, around 6:15, Maariv was davened.

Wednesday, Parshas Shemos — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

At around 8:15 the Rebbe entered the beis medrash for Shacharis.
After Shacharis the Rebbe walked back to his holy residence. A pleasant conversation was held about names in a kesubah and about mikvaos in Europe before the war.

In the afternoon at around 5:35 the Rebbe shlit"a entered for Mincha. Between Mincha and Maariv the Rebbe was engaged in his learning, and at the time of Rabbeinu Tam, around 6:15, Maariv was davened.

Tuesday, Parshas Shemos — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

At around 8:15 the Rebbe shlit"a entered the beis medrash for Shacharis. The baal tefilla was HaRav R' Moshe Yosef Friedlander (of Kiryas Joel).

After Shacharis the Rebbe walked back to his holy residence. A pleasant conversation was held about the Baal HaTanya zy"a and various Chabad customs.

In the afternoon at around 5:35 the Rebbe shlit"a entered for Mincha. Upon arrival, the HaGaon Av Beis Din of Hibnov shlit"a, who had come for rest, greeted him. Between Mincha and Maariv the Rebbe was engaged in his learning, and at the time of Rabbeinu Tam, around 6:15, Maariv was davened.

Monday, Parshas Shemos — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

In the morning, before Shacharis, the following brisos took place:
- The newborn son of R' Yaakov HaKohen Friedman, where the Rebbe served as sandek and mohel.
- The newborn son of R' Amram Yoel Shalamon (of Boro Park), where the Rebbe served as sandek and mohel.


The Rebbe davened Shacharis in the Heichal HaMesivta, Divrei Yoel branch. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim:
- The bochur Yoel Kahn.
- The bochur Yosef Mordechai Filaf.
- The bochur Yoel Schoenfeld.
- The bochur Yoel Friedman.

During the Torah reading, the Rebbe went up for Hagbah, and after davening he learned a sugya as a shiur in the yeshiva's shiurim, Maseches Shabbos, daf 4, on the topic of "Do we tell a person: Sin so that your fellow may merit?", and he left the bochurim with a question to consider before departing for rest in Palm Springs, California. Afterward a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochurim in the Rebbe's private room. The Rebbe shlit"a was then escorted out with the words "Ki malachav."

In his holy home there was a visit from the Rebbe, HaGaon Rabbi Rafael Abuchatzeira shlit"a, president of the Meir and Yisroel institutions in Eretz Yisroel. Also present was the HaGaon, Av Beis Din of Rosh Chochma of Montreal shlit"a. A lengthy conversation took place on Torah and Chassidus and on the situation in Eretz Yisroel, as well as memories of the Rebbe shlit"a's visits to the holy resting place in Meron, where the Rabbi lives; he invited the Rebbe shlit"a to come to Meron. The Rebbe honored him with a lechayim and gave him a gift of the sefer Lev Aharon, and bestowed upon him his holy blessing.

At around 1:15 the Rebbe left his holy home together with his longtime chavrusa, HaGaon Av Beis Din of Rosh Chochma shlit"a, on the way to Stewart Airport. At around 2:30 the private plane took off for Palm Springs, California, where the Rebbe will stay for rest until next Monday, Parshas Yisro, IY"H.

The plane landed at Palm Springs International Airport at around 4:45 local time (7:45 New York time).
The Rebbe was met by members of the community who are vacationing there, and the Rebbe traveled to his holy residence.

At around 5:30 the Rebbe entered the beis medrash for Mincha. Upon arrival, the HaGaon Av Beis Din of Vomasbag shlit"a, who has been vacationing there in recent weeks, greeted him. Between Mincha and Maariv the Rebbe was engaged in his learning, and at the time of Rabbeinu Tam, around 6:10, Maariv was davened. The baal tefilla was HaRav Chaim Yaakov Herskowitz shlit"a.
After Maariv, the assembled public went over to greet the Rebbe shlit"a.
