Monday, Parshas Ki Sisa — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Rebbe davened Shacharis in the Heichal HaMesivta, Divrei Yoel branch. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim:
- the son of Rabbi Yoel Stern shlit"a.
- the bochur Akiva Weiss.

During the Torah reading, the Rebbe went up for hagbah. After davening, he recited the daily Tehillim shiur, on chapter 24, verse 7. Afterwards, a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochurim in the Rebbe's private room.

After Shacharis, the Rebbe went over to the Beis Medrash HaGadol, where a bris took place for the newborn son of R' Elimelech Weiss, where the Rebbe served as sandek and mohel. After the bris, a lechayim was held in the Heichal of the beis medrash.

In the afternoon, at around 6:00, the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy home.

In the evening, the Rebbe officiated at the kiddushin at the chuppah of the mechutanim Rabbi Yaakov Feldman shlit"a - Rabbi Yechiel Yitzchak Spitzer shlit"a, in the Kinor David halls.

The times for entry to the Rebbe shlit"a were from 7:45 until 11:45 at night, in his holy home on Ohel Court.

During the entry times, HaGaon Rabbi Mordechai Dov Warfman shlit"a, Rav of Beis Medrash Zichron Yechezkel and a dayan in Manchester, came for a visit to the Rebbe shlit"a. A pleasant conversation ensued, and the Rebbe bestowed upon him his holy blessing.

The Rebbe shlit"a read the tenaim for the mechutanim Rabbi Berish Rosenberg shlit"a - R' Yitzchak Yonah Zebel.

The Rebbe davened Maariv at around 11:45.

Sunday, Parshas Ki Sisa — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

This morning, before Shacharis, a bris took place for the newborn son of R' Binyamin Levy, where the Rebbe served as sandek and mohel.

The Rebbe davened Shacharis in the Beis Medrash HaGadol. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochur, the bochur Yissachar Berish Fried.
After davening, a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochur in the Rebbe's private room.

At around 6:15, the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy home.

In the evening, the Rebbe officiated at the kiddushin at the chuppahs of the mechutanim:
- R' Yoel Moskowitz - R' Shmuel Zanvil Leitner, in the Kinor David halls.
- R' Meir Baruch Kahn - R' Elimelech Yosef Palatchek, in the Beis Rachel Paradise halls.
After the chuppahs, the Rebbe paid a shiva condolence call at the home of R' Eliezer Weiss and his brothers, may they live, on the passing of their sister a"h.

The times for entry to the Rebbe shlit"a were from 8:00 until 11:30 at night, in his holy home on Ohel Court.

The Rebbe shlit"a read the tenaim for the mechutanim R' Avrohom Leib Klein - R' Yoel Berel Zaldan.

Shabbos Kodesh, Parshas Tetzaveh, Shabbos Zachor — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

Before candle lighting, the Rebbe put the shtreimel on the chassanim.
- The chassan Moshe Shmuel, son of Avrohom Yoshe Gefen.
- The chassan Yisroel Isser, son of Yoel Yaakov Fish, who is the future mechutan of R' Yosef Aharon HaKohen Rubin.

On Friday night at around 6:25, the Rebbe entered the beis medrash wrapped in his tallis and approached the amud for Mincha. Kabbalas Shabbos: Rabbi Yaakov Feldman shlit"a. They finished at around 7:55. The congregation went over to wish a gut Shabbos, and the Rebbe went into his private room.

At around 8:40, the Rebbe entered the holy tish in the Heichal HaShulchanos together with the talmidim of the Mesivta, and began, as is his holy custom, Shalom Aleichem with emotion and sweetness.
Eishes Chayil: the Rebbe's grandson, the bochur Yissachar Ber Tov, may he live, son of the mechutan HaGaon HaTzaddik, Rav of the beis medrash Birkas Moshe shlit"a. Raising of the cup: R' Avrohom Klein (Yerushalayim).

The Rebbe shlit"a honored people with the zemiros. Kol Mekadesh: Rabbi Avrohom Wolf Friedman shlit"a. Menucha V'Simcha: R' Avrohom Klein.

The Rebbe shlit"a said Torah on the verse "V'nishma kolo b'vo'o el hakodesh," and explained, in the manner of a derush, the sugya of "shnayim she'asuhu."

Kah Echsof: the Rebbe's grandson Rabbi Baruch Rokeach shlit"a, son-in-law of the mechutan HaGaon HaTzaddik, Rav of the beis medrash Ohel Feiga shlit"a.
Before bentching, the Rebbe added another line of thought on the Torah, in the manner of a derush, on the sugya of "melacha she'einah tzerichah l'gufah."

Stories and accounts: This week the Rebbe shlit"a told over about the holy Rabbi Eizik'l of Kalov zy"a, whose yahrzeit was on Friday, 7 Adar.
Kah Ribon Olam: the Rebbe's grandson Rabbi Menachem Shlomo Ashkenazi shlit"a, son of the mechutan HaGaon HaTzaddik, Rav of the beis medrash Avnei Tzedek shlit"a. The new chassanim went over to take fruit. Az Bayom HaShevii: the Rebbe's grandson Rabbi Asher Anshel Ashkenazi shlit"a (Manchester). They finished at around 11:30.

On Shabbos morning, the Rebbe entered the beis medrash at around 9:25. Birchos HaShachar and Pesukei D'Zimra: R' Yechiel Michel Kornbluh. The Rebbe approached the amud for Shacharis and Yotzer; they sang at Mechalkel Chaim and Mimkomcha as is the custom.

After davening, the Kiddush Rabbah simcha took place in the Heichal of the Beis Medrash HaGadol, north side. The Rebbe made Kiddush and tasted mezonos and fish. The baal simcha, Rabbi Moshe Meisels shlit"a, spoke.
The Rebbe drank a lechayim and blessed the baal simcha, Rabbi Moshe shlit"a, the mechutan HaGaon HaTzaddik, Rav of the beis medrash Avnei Tzedek shlit"a, and the entire congregation, and delivered words of Torah on the statement of Chazal, "Women are obligated in the reading of the Megillah, for they too were part of that miracle." He explained that in order for the prayers of the Jewish people to be accepted, one must reach the tears of righteous women, and in their merit will come the complete redemption. He concluded with abundant blessings. They finished at around 1:00.

The Rebbe entered the beis medrash for Mincha and Shalosh Seudos at around 6:25.

The Rebbe shlit"a said Torah on the verse in the reading of Parshas Zachor, "Remember what Amalek did to you," and explained that there is the mitzvah of remembering what Amalek did and the mitzvah of actually wiping out Amalek. Indeed, the actual wiping out cannot be fulfilled today, but the remembrance, uprooting the impurity of Amalek from the earth, will also apply when the Beis HaMikdash stands, and this applies today as well. "And these days are remembered and observed": now, in the days of Purim, all good influences are awakened for the Jewish children, for each one, "that which he lacks."

Friday, Erev Shabbos Kodesh, Parshas Tetzaveh — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Rebbe davened Shacharis in the Heichal HaMesivta, Divrei Yoel branch. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochur Moshe Brach.

After davening, the Rebbe delivered words of guidance in his holy voice in preparation for the exalted Yom Tov of Purim, which is coming upon us for good. The Rebbe stressed that we must remember "Remember what Amalek did to you," "who happened upon you," at all times, and that although Purim is indeed a time when we dress up in the spirit of Purim, we must make sure not to dress in a gentile manner, and not to sing or dance to gentile and wild music, but rather to conduct ourselves as befits exalted chassidic bochurim, and thereby fulfill the erasing of Amalek. May it be Hashem's will that the Name of Heaven be sanctified through us.

Afterwards, a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochur in the Rebbe's private room.

Thursday, Parshas Tetzaveh — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Rebbe davened Shacharis in the Heichal HaMesivta, Beirach Moshe branch. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim.
- The bochur Chaim Avrohom Weiss.
- The bochur Yoel, son of R' Avrohom Hertz Herskowitz.
- The bochur Yoel Moshe Weiss.

During the Torah reading, the Rebbe went up for Hagbah, and after davening he recited the daily Tehillim shiur, on chapter 24, verse 5. Afterwards, a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochurim in the Rebbe's private room.
Afterwards, a meeting took place in the Rebbe's holy chamber with the menahlim of the yeshivos of all the branches of the Mesivta, in which various new regulations regarding Yom Tov of Purim, which is coming upon us for good, were reviewed.

At around 6:15 the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy home.

In the evening, the Rebbe officiated at kiddushin at the chuppah of the mechutanim.

During the reception hours, the administration of the 'Chaim Yaakov' beis medrash of our holy kehilla in the expanded Beirach Moshe neighborhood, headed by the rav of the beis medrash, HaGaon Rabbi Yosef Rokeach shlit"a, entered the Rebbe's holy chamber to receive a blessing on the occasion of the opening of the temporary beis medrash, which will open this Shabbos Kodesh in the 'Icon' Business Center. The Rebbe inquired about all the details, and R' Dovid Eckstein of Eretz Yisroel discussed the plans for the new, splendid beis medrash, which is being built with great beauty and glory with all the necessary facilities, and which is expected, IY"H, to be completed in about a year. The Rebbe warmly bestowed his holy blessing upon the rav of the beis medrash shlit"a and upon the administration and askanim of the beis medrash.

The Rebbe davened Maariv at around 9:30 and afterwards continued to receive the public.

Wednesday, Parshas Tetzaveh, 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Rebbe davened Shacharis in Heichal HaMesivta, Yoel Moshe branch. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim.
- The son of HaGaon Rabbi Shlomo Hersh Eckstein shlit"a - moreh tzedek.
- The bochur Moshe Elimelech Tzvi Weider.
- The bochur Binyomin Schwartz.

After davening, the Rebbe delivered the daily Tehillim shiur on chapter 24, verse 7, and spoke words of hashkafa regarding the impurity of Zionism, discussing the history of the Zionist Organization - the worldwide Zionist congress - and the battle that all the rabbonim of all strata and circles waged against it, and the universal simple understanding of every person until recent years not to join it. He expressed his pain that today the Agudas Yisroel circles already have members in the congress, which means that everyone who registers for it must sign that he will take part in the plague of Zionism with body and money, Rachmana litzlan. He concluded with a plea to all of Klal Yisroel that everyone who has within him a spark of fear of Heaven should not, Chas v'shalom, join the association with wicked people of the worst kind, "Tamei, tamei yikra," and may it be His will that the erring ones learn understanding.

Afterward, a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochurim in the Rebbe's private room. The Rebbe also distributed coins to the bochurim who distinguished themselves with extended hours of learning during the Yemei HaShovavim, may they return in good health.

After Shacharis, at around 12:30, the Rebbe went to visit the gravesites of the Rebbes zy"a today after Shacharis, for the refuah of his brother-in-law the Vizhnitz Rebbe, Rabbi Yisroel ben Leah Esther shlit"a, for a speedy recovery.
Upon arriving at the cemetery, the Rebbe recited the blessing, lit 5 candles at the grave of our holy Rebbes, the Divrei Yoel and the Beirach Moshe zy"a, recited the fourth book of Tehillim and said Kaddish. Then the Rebbe read a kvitel with the name and davened a silent prayer for a short while. They finished at around 12:55.

In the afternoon, the Rebbe went up to Heichal HaYeshiva, Beirach Moshe branch, where the Rebbe learned with a chavrusa from among the yeshiva's talmidim in his private room. At around 6:00 the Rebbe davened Mincha in the yeshiva.

In the evening, the Rebbe officiated at kiddushin at the chuppahs of the mechutanim:
- R' Moshe Brach - HaGaon Rabbi Yitzchok Eizik Glick shlit"a - moreh tzedek, in the halls of Kinor Dovid.
- R' Asher Zelig Yonason Bleich - R' Shimon Schwartz, in the halls of Beis Rochel Paradise.

After the chuppahs, at around 8:10, the Rebbe went over to the shopping center halls for the Sheva Brachos celebration arranged by HaGaon HaGadol, the Av Beis Din shlit"a, on the occasion of the marriage of his grandson, mazel tov, the chosson, the son of his son Rabbi Shlomo shlit"a, to the kallah, daughter of HaGaon Rabbi Yaakov Weiss shlit"a, one of the rabbonim of our holy kehilla in Monsey. A fine conversation ensued regarding matters of marriage and various customs concerning Shabbos Zachor. The Rebbe drank lechayim and offered good wishes to the chosson, the mechutanim, and the grandfathers, and especially to HaGaon HaGadol, the Av Beis Din shlit"a. The Rebbe left the hall at around 8:35.

Reception hours at the Rebbe's residence were from 8:40 until 12:00 at night, in his holy home on Ohel Court.

During the reception hours, a meeting was held at the Rebbe's residence with the members of the Kiryas Joel kashrus committee, headed by HaGaon Rabbi Hersh Leib Bernstein shlit"a, chairman, where they discussed the latest questions and various questions regarding the upcoming Pesach season. The Rebbe listened to all the details and wished that no stumbling block should come from under their hands.

The Rebbe davened Maariv at around 12:00.

Tuesday, Parshas Tetzaveh — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

This morning, before Shacharis, a bris took place for the newborn son of R' Mendel Spielman, at which the Rebbe served as sandek and mohel.

The Rebbe davened Shacharis in Heichal HaMesivta, Snif Eitz Chaim - Shiur Gimmel. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochur, the bochur Michel Feldman.

After davening, the Rebbe recited the daily Tehillim shiur, on chapter 24, verse 7. Afterwards, a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochur in the Heichal of the beis medrash.

In the afternoon, at around 5:45, the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy home.

After Mincha, the Rebbe traveled to Shikun Skvira for the chuppah of a great-grandchild of his brother-in-law, the Skverer Rebbe shlit"a. The chassan is the son of HaGaon R' Itamar Katz shlit"a, and the son-in-law of the Rav R' Yitzchak Tversky shlit"a. After the chuppah, the Rebbe warmly wished mazel tov to the chassan, the mechutanim, the grandfathers, and especially to his brother-in-law the Skverer Rebbe shlit"a.

Afterwards, the Rebbe drove in to Williamsburg for the weekly reception hours.
The reception hours in the holy chamber ran from 8:15 until 12:15 at night, in his holy home on Hewes St.

The Rebbe davened Maariv at around 10:30 and then continued receiving the public, when in the meantime HaGaon Rabbi, Av Beis Din of Sighet shlit"a entered the holy chamber and greeted the Rebbe upon returning from his trip to visit our holy kehilla's Heichalos in Eretz Yisroel, to attend the annual dinner for the holy mosdos, and to spend an uplifting Shabbos Shekalim in Bnei Brak.

The Rebbe shlit"a listened with great satisfaction to a lengthy, warm greeting from the Sighet Rav shlit"a, regarding his visits in all three kehillos in Eretz Yisroel, first in Bnei Brak, and also in Yerushalayim and Beis Shemesh.

Monday, Parshas Tetzaveh — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Rebbe davened Shacharis in the Heichal HaMesivta, Divrei Yoel branch.
During the Torah reading, the Rebbe was called up for Shlishi. After davening, he recited the daily Tehillim shiur, on chapter 24, verse 7.

In the afternoon, the Rebbe went up to the Heichal HaYeshiva, Divrei Yoel branch, where he learned with a chavrusa from the talmidim of the yeshiva in his private room. At around 6:00, the Rebbe davened Mincha in the yeshiva.

In the evening, the Rebbe officiated at the kiddushin at the chuppah of the mechutanim:
- R' Shalom Eliezer Lichtenstein - R' Shalom Yoshe Yaroslowitz, in the halls of Kinor Dovid.
- R' Avrohom Meir Schwartz - R' Binyamin Zev Schwartz, in the halls of Ginas Klein.

The hours for receiving the public in the Rebbe's holy home on Uhel Court were from 8:10 until 10:40 at night.

The Rebbe davened Maariv at around 9:45, and after Maariv the tenaim of the mechutanim HaRav Aharon Yaakov Kahana shlit"a - HaRav Avrohom Shimon Horowitz shlit"a were read, and then he continued receiving the public.

After the hours of receiving the public, the Rebbe traveled to Williamsburg to the wedding simcha of the grandson of his brother, HaGaon HaTzaddik, the Rav of our kehilla in Boro Park, shlit"a. The chassan is the son of the son-in-law, HaRav Rabbi Lipa Teitelbaum shlit"a, son of the Sasov Rebbe shlit"a; the kallah is the daughter of HaRav R' Hershel Ashkenazi shlit"a, director of the Yeshiva Ketana, Be'er HaTorah branch.
At around 11:40 the Rebbe arrived at the Imperial halls for the wedding simcha. The Rebbe greeted the rabbonim at the head table, and a pleasant conversation followed.
The Rebbe drank a lechayim and wished mazel tov to the chassan, the mechutanim, his brother HaGaon HaTzaddik shlit"a, the grandfather, the Sasov Rebbe shlit"a, and the entire assembly. Bentching was honored to an uncle on the kallah's side, HaRav R' Yoshe Reiss shlit"a, son-in-law of the HaGaon HaTzaddik, the Av Beis Din of Waitzen zt"l, and the Rebbe recited the Sheva Brachos.
Afterward, the badchan, R' Yoshe Boruch Gross, called the Rebbe to the mitzvah dances. The Rebbe drank a lechayim and danced the holy dances before the kallah for a longer time, and then danced with the chassan and the mechutan, and broke out into a festive dance with his brother HaGaon HaTzaddik shlit"a and his whole family, and with the grandfather, the Sasov Rebbe shlit"a.
Then the Rebbe sat back down, and the HaGaon HaTzaddik, the Rav of our kehilla in Boro Park, shlit"a, was called up to the mitzvah tantz, and the Rebbe went in to dance in the circle with the members of his family, and afterward separately with his brother HaGaon HaTzaddik shlit"a.
The Rebbe left the hall at around 12:40, and on the way out he wished mazel tov to the kallah.

After the wedding, the Rebbe shlit"a arrived in Boro Park at the home of the distinguished young man, the philanthropist R' Avrohom Chaim Klein, where the Rebbe affixed a mezuzah, followed by a lechayim gathering.
Present was HaRav R' Zusha Oesch shlit"a, dayan and moreh tzedek of Volcan. A pleasant conversation ensued about the housing situation in all the Jewish neighborhoods and apartment prices in the city and in Kiryas Joel.
A signing of documents took place, in which R' Avrohom Chaim purchased a distinguished share in the new Beis Rachel building of our holy mosdos in Boro Park, and in the Beis Chinuch LeBanos Beis Faiga building of our holy mosdos in Bnei Brak, which is now just at the completion of construction. Then the Rebbe wrote the first two letters in the Sefer Torah that R' Avrohom Chaim is beginning to have written, and the Rebbe bestowed his holy blessing upon the donor, his father-in-law, R' Moshe Kahana, the Rebbe shlit"a's host in Boro Park, and all those present.
Afterward the Rebbe held a private, longer halachic conversation with the Dayan of Volcan shlit"a.
At around 2:00 the Rebbe returned to his holy residence in Kiryas Joel.
