Monday, Parshas Vayikra — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

This morning, before Shacharis, a bris took place for a newborn son of R' Hershel Hollander, where the Rebbe served as sandek and mohel.

The Rebbe davened Shacharis in the Beis Medrash HaGadol. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochur, the bochur Yekusiel Levi Mertz.

During the Torah reading, the Rebbe went up for Hagbah. After davening, a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochur in the Rebbe's private room.

At around 6:20 the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy home.

In the evening, the Rebbe officiated at the kiddushin at the chuppah of the mechutanim:
- HaRav R' Dovid Kaufman - HaRav R' Yoel Weiss, in the halls of Kinor Dovid.
- HaRav R' Yoel Wertzberger - HaRav R' Dovid Ungar, in the halls of Beis Rachel Paradise.
- HaRav R' Shlomo Yosef Schwartz - HaRav R' Yoel Friedrich, in the halls of Ginas Klein.

Reception hours with the Rebbe were from 8:20 until 12:45 at night, in his holy home on Ohel Court.

The Rebbe shlit"a read the tenaim of the mechutanim HaRav R' Yoshe Chaim Schwartz - HaRav R' Asher Shalom Beck.

During the reception hours, HaGaon HaTzaddik Rabbi Binyamin Landau shlit"a, Dayan and Moreh Tzedek of Tosh in Boro Park, paid a visit to the Rebbe. A lengthy halachic conversation of over an hour took place regarding current pressing questions, and the Rebbe bestowed his holy blessing and accompanied him out to the street.

The Rebbe davened Maariv at around 9:00 and then continued to receive the public.

Sunday, Parshas Vayikra, Rosh Chodesh Nissan — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Rebbe davened Shacharis in the heichal of the Yeshiva Ketana, Yishmach Moshe branch, under the direction of HaGaon Rabbi Avrohom Hersh Zaldan shlit"a, in the Talmud Torah building, 'Markowitz Building.' Before davening, the Rebbe put on tefillin for the bar mitzvah bochurim.
- The bochur Yoel Bri"ch Greenwald.
- The bochur Aharon Starik.
The Rebbe proceeded to Hallel, and during the Torah reading was called up as the fourth aliyah.

After davening, a lechayim gathering took place in the heichal of the beis medrash. Several niggunim were sung, the Rebbe drank lechayim and wished the bar mitzvah bochurim, the rebbeim and the talmidim of the yeshiva well, and conveyed words of Torah and blessing, saying that Avrohom Avinu brought a power of mesirus nefesh into all of Klal Yisroel, and he spoke in praise of the bochurim who are still sitting in yeshiva during the month of Nissan, which is also a form of mesirus nefesh, and concluded with abundant blessings for the talmidim of the yeshiva.

Afterward the Rebbe went down to the special program of the Mosdos Kiryas Yoel, and entered all the classes and looked over the learning for an extended time.
On the way out, the talmidim of the first and second grades of the branch of R' Dovid Chanani Weiss shlit"a were waiting and sang a niggun, and the Rebbe looked on with nachas.

From there the Rebbe went over to the new home of R' Zalman Leib Kapel, where the Rebbe first affixed a mezuzah, and afterward a lechayim gathering took place. A pleasant conversation ensued, and the Rebbe bestowed his holy blessing upon him.

In the afternoon hours the Rebbe visited our kehilla's matzah bakery, where the Rebbe looked over for an extended time the matzos that were baked for the members of the family.

Around 6:30 the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy home.

In the evening the Rebbe officiated at the kiddushin at the chuppah of the mechutanim:
- R' Aharon Perel - R' Dovid Yoel Cohen, in the halls of Kinor Dovid.
- R' Shimon Zev Klein - R' Yeshaya Binyamin Spielman, in the halls of Beis Rachel Paradise.
- R' Avrohom Moshe Weiss - R' Reuven Michoel Kavodi, in the halls of Ginas Klein.

Around 8:15 the Rebbe went over to the Mesivta building, Kedushas Yoel branch, where the 'Ma'amad Kevod HaTorah and Chalukas HaManos' took place, at which a huge sum of over a million dollars was distributed to many rabbanim and learners of our kehilla's kollelim from around the world, who had presented themselves for examination before HaGaon HaGadol Av Beis Din shlit"a on many areas of Torah, donated by R' Moshe Yaakov Yosef Brach.
Upon arrival, the Rebbe greeted the distinguished rabbanim, dayanim and roshei hakollelim, and danced on the spot for a few minutes, and niggunim of hisorerus were sung.
The Rebbe drank lechayim and wished the entire gathering well, and especially the esteemed donor, and conveyed words of Torah and blessing and spoke at length in praise of the donor, who spares no expense on such large sums for those who learn Torah, and wished him abundant blessings in all matters, and concluded with his holy blessing for the entire gathering.

Afterward the entire gathering went over, where the Rebbe distributed the sum of six thousand dollars to each of the kollel learners. The gathering continued with joyous niggunim and concluded around 9:00.

Yechidus hours at the Rebbe's holy home on Ohel Court were from 9:10 until 12:00 at night.

During yechidus, HaGaon Rabbi Mordechai Wieder shlit"a, chairman of the worldwide 'Mashkineinu' organization, entered the Rebbe's room together with the heads of the 'Lehaalos' organization of our holy kehilla. Many details of the organization and its plans during the current bein hazmanim for the beloved bochurim of our holy kehilla were discussed, and the Rebbe bestowed his holy blessing upon him.

Also entering were the leaders and askanim of our holy kehilla in Monsey to receive the Rebbe's blessing on the occasion of the opening of the new matzah bakery, which, b'ezras Hashem, will be used on Erev Pesach, which is coming upon us, in the building of the great beis medrash in Monsey. The Rebbe inquired about the details and bestowed his holy blessing.

Shabbos Kodesh, Parshas Pekudei, Shabbos HaChodesh, Mevarchim Chodesh Nissan — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

Before candle lighting, the Rebbe put on the shtreimel for the chasanim.
- The chosson Aharon, son of Chaim Yosef Rosenfeld.
- The chosson Yitzchak Yechiel, son of Shmuel Stern.

Friday night at around 7:55, the Rebbe entered the beis medrash wrapped in his tallis and approached the amud for Mincha.
After Mincha, R' Eliyahu Shlomo Kahn shlit"a, director of Beis Rachel, spoke on behalf of the mosdos administration regarding the 'Beyomo Titen Secharo' campaign of our mosdos in Kiryas Joel.
Kabbalas Shabbos: HaGaon Rabbi Yehoshua Tzvi Yozshef shlit"a, moreh tzedek in our holy kehilla in Bnei Brak. Davening ended at around 9:30. The congregation then wished each other a gut Shabbos, and the Rebbe went into his private room.

At around 10:00, the Rebbe entered the holy tish in the Heichal HaShulchanos together with the talmidim of the Yeshiva Ketana branch Vayoel Moshe of Boro Park, under the leadership of HaGaon Rabbi Yitzchak Aharon Green shlit"a, and with the guests, the rabbanim and learners of our kollelim in Eretz Yisroel, Kollel Vayoel Moshe in Yerushalayim and Kollel Eitz Chaim in Bnei Brak, headed by the roshei hakollelim and rabbanim of our holy kehilla.

The Rebbe began Shalom Aleichem with emotion and sweetness, as is his holy custom.
Eishes Chayil: the Rebbe's grandson, the bochur Yoel Dushinsky, son of the son-in-law of the Rebbe, the HaGaon HaTzaddik, Rav of Beis Medrash Ohel Piga shlit"a. Hagbahas HaKos: HaGaon Rabbi Chaim Mordechai Teitelbaum shlit"a, son of the Sasov Rebbe shlit"a.

Before the fish, the Rebbe delivered divrei Torah on the verse 'Eileh pekudei haMishkan,' explaining that in order to approach Torah and tefillah properly, one must be careful to immerse in the mikvah every day.

Kah Ribon Olam: HaGaon HaTzaddik R' Avrohom Shlomo Katz shlit"a, Av Beis Din of Riskeva and one of the rabbanim of our kehilla in Bnei Brak. The new chasanim came over to take fruit. Ma'aseh Shabbos "Ki bayom hashvi'i": HaGaon Rabbi Shmuel Eckstein shlit"a, moreh tzedek in the Edah HaChareidis and in our holy kehilla in Yerushalayim. The tish ended at around 12:40.

The Rebbe shlit"a said a Torah thought on the verse 'HaChodesh hazeh lachem rosh chodashim,' explaining that by conducting oneself with truth, the trait of Yaakov, a vitality of kedusha enters a person, enabling him to draw close to Hashem even if he was previously distant. This is the mitzvah of bedikas chametz, which hints at falsehood - to distance oneself entirely from falsehood - and eating matzah, which hints at truth.

For Maariv on Motzei Shabbos, the Rebbe approached the amud in honor of the yahrzeit of the Rebbetzin Bracha Sima a"h, wife of the Chaver HaHaGaon HaKadosh, author of Eitz Chaim zy"a, whose yahrzeit falls on Thursday, 5 Nissan. After Havdalah the congregation came over to wish a gutte voch. Davening ended at around 10:10.

At around 11:30, the talmidim of the Yeshiva Ketana branch Vayoel Moshe of Boro Park, who had spent Shabbos b'tzeil hakodesh, entered the Rebbe's holy home. The Rebbe delivered brief divrei Torah and guidance, and the bochurim then came over to receive the Rebbe's holy blessing.
At around 12:10, the Rebbe went to the Melaveh Malka arranged in honor of the rabbanim of our kollel in Bnei Brak by R' Zalman Leib Sofer, member of the administration of Kollel Eitz Chaim. A lovely halachic conversation developed about the topics of Chodesh Nissan and the upcoming Yom Tov of Pesach, IY"H. The Rebbe drank a lechayim and shared from his holy blessing. It ended at around 1 o'clock, and the Rebbe returned to his holy home.

Thursday, Parshas Pekudei — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

This morning before Shacharis, the following brissim took place:
- The son born to R' Avrohom Yehoshua Heshel Friedman, where the Rebbe served as sandek and mohel.
- The son born to HaRav R' Yechezkel Shraga Bri"a Stein shlit"a, where the Rebbe served as sandek.
- The son born to R' Aharon Mann, where the Rebbe served as sandek.

The Rebbe davened Shacharis in the Heichal HaMesivta, Branch Beirach Moshe. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim:
- The bochur Boruch Simon.
- The bochur Daniel Masri.
During the Torah reading, the Rebbe went up for Hagbah.

After davening, the Rebbe delivered the eighth sugya shiur in the sugya of "Mitoch," along with preparation for the Shabbos HaGadol drasha. At the end, the Rebbe continued with words of preparation for Yom Tov Pesach, IY"H, and encouraged all the bochurim to prepare for Yom Tov Pesach by learning chassidic sefarim. He told all the yeshiva students that a seder has been set up to learn the holy sefer Derech Pikudecha by the Bnei Yissaschar zy"a, which lays out the mitzvos of the Yom Tov very beautifully, and that it is worthwhile to learn it through. He concluded with his holy blessing.

Afterward, a lechayim gathering took place in honor of the end of the zman. Several songs were sung, and the Rebbe drank lechayim and wished all the yeshiva students well.

At about 6:30, the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy home.

The Rebbe shlit"a read the tenaim of the mechutanim, HaRav R' Yitzchak Elyakim Schwartz and HaRav R' Eliezer Dovid Glick.

At about 11:00, a select group of rabbanim and lomdim of our kollelim in Eretz Yisroel, Kollel Eitz Chaim in Bnei Brak and Kollel Vayoel Moshe in the holy city of Yerushalayim, headed by the roshei hakollelim, entered for a private audience. Among them were HaGaon Rabbi, the Av Beis Din of Rizhin, and HaGaon Rabbi, a dayan and rosh av beis din of our holy kehilla in Bnei Brak, along with other distinguished rabbonim of our holy kehilla in Bnei Brak and Yerushalayim. They traveled to spend Shabbos Kodesh "Shabbos HaChodesh" in the shadow of the Rebbe shlit"a, in anticipation of the Kavod HaTorah event and distribution of portions this Sunday, Parshas Vayikra, under the leadership of the Rebbe shlit"a, sponsored by the distinguished philanthropist R' Yosef Brach.
The distinguished guests came over to greet the Rebbe, and the Rebbe honored the roshei hakollelim shlit"a to be seated. A longer conversation in halacha developed on various areas of Torah learned in the kollelim, especially regarding various questions that arise on Yom Tov Pesach, particularly this year, when Shabbos falls on Erev Pesach. The Rebbe gave his holy blessing, and it concluded at about 11:30.

Also entering for a private audience was HaRav R' Boruch Pinchas Schick shlit"a, son of the Ostrov Rebbe shlit"a of Monsey. A pleasant conversation ensued, and he presented the Rebbe shlit"a with the new Blazov Haggadah that he recently published with the Torah teachings of his ancestors, the Rebbes of Blazov zt"l. The Rebbe looked through it, spoke about the holy Baal Tzvi LaTzaddik of Blazov zt"l, and bestowed his holy blessing.

The Rebbe davened Maariv at about 12:30.

In the late night hours in his holy home on Zanz Court, the Rebbe arranged the first part of the lists for the Chalukas Kemach D'Pischa, which is sent to the poor of Eretz Yisroel, members of our holy kehillos throughout Eretz Yisroel, in anticipation of Yom Tov Pesach, IY"H.

Wednesday, Parshas Pekudei — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

Early in the morning, before Shacharis, a bris was held for a newborn son of R' Avrohom Shmuel Fish, where the Rebbe served as sandek.

The Rebbe davened Shacharis in Heichal HaMesivta, Yoel Moshe branch. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim.
- The bochur Yisroel Horowitz.
- The bochur Chaim Friedlander.
- The bochur Yaakov Yochanan Fleischmann.

After davening, the Rebbe recited the daily Tehillim shiur, on chapter 25, verse 11. Afterwards, a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochurim in his private room.

At around 1:50, the Rebbe went up to Heichal HaMesivta, Divrei Yoel branch, where the Rebbe delivered the seventh shiur in the sugya, in the sugya of "mitoch" (the preparation for the Shabbos HaGadol derasha). The Rebbe finished at around 2:30.

In the afternoon hours, HaGaon Rabbi Yehoshua Katz shlit"a, Av Beis Din of Magrov, paid a visit to the Rebbe's holy home. A pleasant conversation took place regarding kashrus, during which he expressed his admiration for the many chumros and hiddurim in the matzah bakery of our holy kehilla, after baking matzos there today, and the Rebbe bid him farewell with his holy blessing.

At around 6:20, the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy home.

Entry times at the Rebbe's holy home on Uhel Court were from 8:40 until 12:40 at night.

At around 9:30, an appointment ceremony was held at the Rebbe's holy home, where the Rebbe appointed his grandson, HaGaon R' Chaim Yaakov Rokeach shlit"a, son-in-law of HaGaon Rabbi, the Rav of Beis Medrash Yismach Moshe shlit"a, as Rav of Beis Medrash Kol Eliyahu on Carlstadt Road in Kiryas Joel. A pleasant conversation took place with the distinguished grandfathers, HaGaon Av Beis Din of Tarcal shlit"a and HaGaon Av Beis Din of Kozlov-Monsey shlit"a, discussing the power of the rabbinate before the Second World War, particularly in the city of Satmar and in Papa. Joyous songs were sung, and R' Dovid Eckstein of Eretz Yisroel performed.
The Rebbe drank a lechayim and blessed the new Rav of the beis medrash, the rabbanim shlit"a, and the administration and askanim of the beis medrash. It ended at around 10:10.

Tuesday, Parshas Pekudei — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

This morning, before Shacharis, the following brisos took place:
- For the newborn son of R' Avrohom Yitzchak Lichtenstein, at which the Rebbe served as sandek and mohel.
- For the newborn son of R' Mendel son of R' Yosef Friedman, at which the Rebbe served as sandek and mohel.

The Rebbe davened Shacharis in the Heichal HaMesivta, Etz Chaim branch – third shiur. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochur, the bochur Zalman Leib Stein.

After davening, the Rebbe delivered the daily Tehillim shiur on chapter 25, verse 1. Afterwards, a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochur in the Heichal HaBeis Medrash.

At around 1:45, the Rebbe went up to the Heichal HaMesivta, Divrei Yoel branch, where the Rebbe delivered the sixth shiur in the sugya series on the topic of "mitoch" (since one is permitted...) and the preparation for the Shabbos HaGadol derasha. The Rebbe concluded at around 2:25.

At around 6:20, the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy home.

In the evening, the Rebbe traveled to Williamsburg for the weekly reception hours.
The Rebbe's reception hours were from 8:15 until 1:00 at night, in his holy home on Hughes Street.

During the reception hours, the Rebbe was visited by HaGaon HaGadol, the Av Beis Din of Freiman shlit"a, and Rosh Av Beis Din of the Association of Rabbis. A lengthy conversation ensued in halacha and in the give-and-take of Torah study, and the Rebbe bestowed his holy blessing upon him.

Also held was the upsherin of the grandson of the Rebbe, the child son of HaRav R' Yekusiel Yehuda Teitelbaum shlit"a, son of the Av Beis Din of Williamsburg shlit"a. The Rebbe cut several hairs and put the kippah and tzitzis on him, drank a lechayim, and bestowed his holy blessing.

The Rebbe davened Maariv at around 10:30 and then continued receiving the public.

The Rebbe davened Shacharis in the Heichal HaMesivta, Divrei Yoel branch. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochur, the bochur Chaim Hersh Mittelman.

During the Torah reading, the Rebbe went up for Hagbah. After davening, the Rebbe delivered the daily Tehillim shiur on chapter 25, verse 8. Afterwards, a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochur in the Rebbe's private room.

At around 1:40, the Rebbe went up to the Heichal HaMesivta, Divrei Yoel branch, where the Rebbe delivered the fifth shiur in the sugya series on the topic of "mitoch" (since one is permitted...) and the preparation for the Shabbos HaGadol derasha. The Rebbe concluded at around 2:15.

At around 6:30, the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy home.

The Rebbe's reception hours were from 8:30 until 11:45 at night, in his holy home on Ohel Court.
