Thursday, Parshas Toldos — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Rebbe davened Shacharis in the Beis Medrash HaGadol, and during the Torah reading was called up for Shlishi.

After davening, the following brisos took place:
- For the newborn son of R' Asher Aryeh Weider, at which the Rebbe served as sandek and mohel.
- For the newborn son of R' Azriel Elimelech Landau, at which the Rebbe served as sandek and mohel.

At around 8:10 the Rebbe went over to the Mishkenos HaRoim beis medrash and observed the learning of the participants in the 'Hasmadas HaTorah' program, and bestowed his holy blessing upon the rebbeim and especially upon the director, HaRav R' Eliezer Herskowitz shlit"a.

At around 8:30 the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy home on Ohel Court.
Afterwards, there were entrance times (yechidus) in the Kiryas Joel Beis Medrash until around 12:15 at night.

The Rebbe shlit"a read the tenaim of the mechutanim HaRav HaChassid R' Isaac Hersh Berkowitz - HaRav HaChassid R' Yitzchak Eisik HaLevi Schwartz.

In the morning, before Shacharis, a bris took place for the newborn son of R' Yaakov Hersh Friedman, at which the Rebbe served as sandek.

The Rebbe davened Shacharis in the Beis Medrash HaGadol. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim:
- The bochur Eliezer Zusya Stern.
- The bochur Mordechai Leib Gottesman.
- The bochur Yeshua Hersh Goldberger.
- The bochur Moshe Weiss.
- The bochur Avrohom Klein.
After davening, a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochurim in the Rebbe's private room.

At around 8:30 the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy home on Ohel Court.
Afterwards, there were entrance times (yechidus) in the Kiryas Joel Beis Medrash until around 12:15 at night.

Tuesday, Parshas Tazria-Metzora, 2 Rosh Chodesh Iyar — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Rebbe davened Shacharis in the Heichal HaMesivta, Eitz Chaim branch - Shiur 3. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim.
- The bochur Ben Zion Bash.
- The bochur Lipa Rosenfeld.
- The bochur Aharon Shmuel Schreiber.

The Rebbe approached for Hallel, and during the Torah reading performed hagbah. After davening, a lechayim took place with the bar mitzvah bochurim in the Heichal of the beis medrash.

In the afternoon at around 7:15, the Rebbe traveled to Williamsburg for the weekly yechidus hours.

Upon arriving in Williamsburg at around 8:30, the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy home on Hooper St.
Afterwards, there were yechidus hours in Kiryas Joel until around 12:15 at night.

The Rebbe davened Maariv at around 10:00, and then continued receiving the public.

Monday, Parshas Tazria-Metzora, 1 Rosh Chodesh Iyar — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

In the morning, before Shacharis, a bris of a newborn son took place for R' Yosef Zundel Weinberger, where the Rebbe served as sandek and mohel.

The Rebbe davened Shacharis in the Heichal HaMesivta, Divrei Yoel branch. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochur, the bochur Zalman Leib Fish.

The Rebbe approached for Hallel, and during the Torah reading was called up for the fourth aliyah. After davening, a lechayim took place with the bar mitzvah bochur in the Rebbe's private room.

At around 8:30 the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy home on Ohel Street.
Afterwards, there were yechidus hours in Kiryas Joel until 12:30 at night.

During the yechidus hours, a lechayim celebration and signing of documents took place, at which R' Yehuda Zev Klein purchased the honor of naming the building of Beis Medrash Beis Chaim Dovid in the Pri Megadim neighborhood in the expanded Kiryas Joel. Present were the Gaon HaGadol, the Av Beis Din shlit"a, his son HaGaon Rabbi Yosef Shmuel Berkowitz shlit"a, dayan of the beis medrash, R' Dovid Eckstein of the Kehilla's leadership, and members of the committee for expanding the city's borders and residents of the neighborhood. A fine conversation about the neighborhood ensued, and HaGaon Rabbi Berl Margulies shlit"a, chairman of the committee for expanding the city's borders, spoke and presented the plans for the beis medrash, which will be greatly expanded with all its needs in great splendor. He said that everything is thanks to the philanthropist R' Yehuda Zev, who had previously purchased the honor of naming the beis medrash and has now added a tremendous sum for the honor of naming the building. The Rebbe signed the document together with the donor, drank a lechayim, and shared from his holy blessing.
At the conclusion, the Gaon HaGadol, the Av Beis Din shlit"a, received a blessing from the Rebbe shlit"a on the occasion of his departure for a rest, and the Rebbe escorted the dayan shlit"a to the door.

The Rebbe davened Maariv at around 12:30.

Sunday, Parshas Tazria-Metzora — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

In the morning, before Shacharis, a bris of a newborn son took place for R' Moshe Aryeh Cohen, where the Rebbe served as sandek.

The Rebbe davened Shacharis in the Beis Medrash HaGadol. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim.
- The bochur Yechezkel Shraga Friedman.
- The bochur Yaakov Kapel Glantz.
After davening, a lechayim took place with the bar mitzvah bochurim in the Rebbe's private room.

After Shacharis, the Rebbe went over to the courtyard of HaRav HaChasid R' Avrohom Leib Brach, for a speedy recovery, for the blessing on the blossoming trees. The Rebbe looked at the leaves and recited the blessing, and then went into the house, where the Rebbe drank a lechayim and shared from his holy blessing.

During the morning hours, the Rebbe went on the weekly visit to the mehudar slaughterhouse.

At around 8:20 the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy home on Ohel Street.
Afterwards, there were yechidus hours in the Kiryas Joel until 12:15 at night.

Motzei Shabbos 'B'tzeil HaKodesh'

After Havdalah, the Rebbe crossed over to the Heichal of our new beis medrash on 10th Avenue, the construction of which was just completed after the entire beis medrash was rebuilt in great splendor. The Rebbe affixed a mezuzah and looked around, and while there heard a report from R' Yisroel Ari Fischer. Afterwards the Rebbe entered the new Heichal HaTorah, where the Rebbe expressed his great pleasure. This was followed by a lechayim gathering, at which HaGaon Rabbi, the Av Beis Din of our kehilla in Boro Park shlit"a, spoke. The Rebbe drank a lechayim, bestowed from his holy blessing, said a few brief words of blessing, and extended good wishes to the askanim of the beis medrash. In particular, the Rebbe extended good wishes to the sons of R' Dovid Rosenberg a"h, one of the leading benefactors of the beis medrash. The gathering ended at around 11:15, and the Rebbe returned to his lodgings.

At around 12:00 the Rebbe went to the home of the distinguished philanthropist R' Chaim Yuda Lefkowitz, who purchased the merit of the mikvah in our new beis medrash on 18th Avenue for the enormous sum of 1.5 million dollars. A pleasant conversation ensued. The Rebbe signed the documents together with the benefactor, drank a lechayim, and bestowed from his holy blessing upon the benefactor and his family, upon Rabbi Avrohom Meir Halberstam shlit"a, Dayan of the beis medrash, and upon the members of the administration.

From there the Rebbe went to the home of the distinguished philanthropist R' Avrohom Shimon Kaufman, who purchased the merit of the aron kodesh in our new beis medrash on 18th Avenue for the enormous sum of one million dollars. A pleasant conversation ensued. The Rebbe signed the documents together with the benefactor, drank a lechayim, and bestowed from his holy blessing upon the benefactor and his family, and upon the Dayan and administration of the beis medrash.
The Rebbe also extended his holy blessing to the talmidim of the yeshiva ketana, Maayan HaTorah branch, who this week were tested on dozens of pages of Gemara as part of the "V'Talmido B'Yado" program.

From there the Rebbe went to the home of the distinguished philanthropist R' Dovid Yosha Hirsch, in the presence of the esteemed philanthropists R' Shalom Kraus and R' Moshe Eli Weinstock, each of the three of whom pledged one million dollars, and the distinguished philanthropist R' Aharon Tzvi Mittelman, who pledged a considerable sum, for our new beis medrash Lev Aharon. A pleasant conversation took place about the expansion of the borders of kedushah in our holy kehilla in Boro Park. The Rebbe signed the documents together with the esteemed benefactors, nigunim were sung in honor of the occasion, and the Rebbe drank a lechayim and bestowed from his holy blessing upon the benefactors and their families and upon the administration of the building fund committee, and wished that the construction should proceed quickly and easily.

Afterwards the Rebbe went on a bikur cholim visit to R' Shlomo Tzadok Hoffman, for a refuah sheleimah. A pleasant conversation took place, during which R' Shlomo Tzadok pledged a considerable sum for the benefit of our beis medrash on 10th Avenue, and the Rebbe bestowed from his holy blessing upon him.

At around 1:45 the Rebbe traveled home to his holy residence in Kiryas Joel.

Shabbos Kodesh, Parshas Shemini, Mevarchim Chodesh Iyar — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a in our holy kehilla in Boro Park, yichyeh

On Erev Shabbos at around 4:15 in the afternoon, the Rebbe arrived in Boro Park at the host residence of R' Moshe Kohn. Entering the residence for a visit were the mechutanim HaGaon Rabbi Avrohom Eliyahu Eliezer Halberstam shlit"a and HaGaon Rabbi Menachem Naftali Teitelbaum shlit"a, Av Beis Din of Czhenskowitz, on the occasion of the engagement of their children, mazel tov. A pleasant conversation took place, and the Rebbe bestowed his holy blessing upon them.

The Rebbe went to the private mikvah of the philanthropist R' Wolf Nussenzweig.

On Friday night at around 8:10, the Rebbe entered the beis medrash wrapped in his tallis and approached the amud for Mincha. Kabbalas Shabbos: HaGaon HaTzaddik R' Moshe Friedman shlit"a, dayan and moreh tzedek of our kehilla. Davening concluded at around 9:40, and the huge crowd of chassidim then went over to wish a good Shabbos for an extended time. Afterwards the Rebbe went over to the home of R' Yitzchak Zev Weinstock, where he stayed until the preparation of the Shabbos table.

At around 12:00 the Rebbe entered the holy table in the hall of the great beis medrash and began, as is his custom, with Shalom Aleichem with emotion and sweetness.
Eishes Chayil: the grandson of the Rebbe, the bochur Meir (may he be well), son of Rabbi Chaim Hersh shlit"a, son-in-law of HaGaon HaTzaddik Rav of Beis Medrash Beirach Moshe shlit"a. Lifting the cup: HaGaon HaTzaddik Av Beis Din of Ciechanów shlit"a, rosh yeshiva of our yeshiva in Boro Park.

The challos had a dish, as is the custom on the Shabbos after Pesach, and matzah was brought in at the soup, as is the custom between Pesach and Shavuos.

The Rebbe shlit"a honored people with the zemiros. Kol Mekadesh: HaGaon HaTzaddik Av Beis Din of Volove shlit"a. Menucha V'Simcha: HaGaon HaTzaddik Av Beis Din of Minchas Chinuch shlit"a.

The Rebbe shlit"a said Torah on the verse 'Vayidom Aharon' and explained, in the manner of a derush, in the sugya of chatzi shiur, and expounded the reason of the verse.

At around 7:00 in the morning, the Rebbe went to the private mikvah of the Sanz-Klausenburg Rebbe shlit"a.

The Rebbe entered the beis medrash at around 9:50. Brachos and Pesukei D'Zimra: HaGaon Rabbi Moshe Dovid Horowitz shlit"a, rav of our Beis Medrash Beirach Moshe. The Rebbe approached the amud for Shacharis.

At Kiddush at the host residence, the Blazov-Rybatitch Rebbe shlit"a participated. A pleasant conversation took place with stories of the house of Dinov-Blazov, and the Rebbe bestowed his holy blessing upon him.

The Rebbe honored people with the zemiros at the afternoon seudah. Baruch Hashem Yom Yom: HaGaon Rabbi Menashe Horowitz shlit"a, Av Beis Din of Rigelitz. In the afternoon at around 6:45, the Rebbe entered the great beis medrash for Pirkei Avos. The Rebbe began with Perek 1, Mishnah 1, 'Moshe received the Torah from Sinai,' and explained on many levels in the manner of derush, aggadah and mussar, regarding the learning of Torah, which leaves a holy impression on a person, and he praised the chaburah of Toras'cha Sha'ashuai, which is about to complete Shas, urging everyone to see to join the new cycle. He spoke words of mussar on matters of tznius and technology, to stay separate from the street of the non-Jews, to be careful to buy meat specifically in the butcher shops, that one should be master over his money and not have the money be master over him, and he concluded with abundant blessings. It concluded at around 7:45.

The Rebbe entered the beis medrash for Mincha and Shalosh Seudos at around 8:15.

The Rebbe shlit"a said Torah on the verse 'Zeh HaDavar Asher Tzivah Hashem Taasu' and explained that through being engaged in Torah, tefillos are accepted and parnassah is bestowed, and he urged old and young alike, now in the new period after Pesach, when matzah imparts Torah, to strengthen themselves in Torah learning.

Yedid Nefesh: HaGaon Rabbi Aharon Meisels shlit"a, son of HaGaon HaTzaddik Av Beis Din of Montreal shlit"a. Kel Mistater: HaGaon Rabbi Asher Chaim Weiser shlit"a, moreh tzedek. The Rebbe recited the blessing over the cup.

Maariv of Motzei Shabbos: R' Aharon Hersh Mittelman. After Havdalah, the crowd went over to wish a good week for an extended time. It concluded at around 10:45, and the Rebbe shlit"a was escorted out with song and zemiros.
