Thursday, Parshas Shlach — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Rebbe davened Shacharis in Heichal HaMesivta, Barach Moshe branch. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim:
- The bochur Moshe Shmuel Kepetch.
- The bochur Tzvi Elimelech Weinstock.

During the Torah reading, the Rebbe went up for hagbah, and after davening the Rebbe recited the daily Tehillim shiur, on chapter 25, verse 11. Afterwards, a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochurim in his private room.

In the morning hours, the Rebbe went on his weekly visit to the mehudar slaughterhouse.

Around 8:20 the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy home on Ohel Court. Afterwards there were yechidus hours until 12:30 at night.

The Rebbe shlit"a read the tenaim of the mechutanim R' Yoel Stern and R' Moshe Yitzchak Reisman in the tenaim halls in his holy home.

The Rebbe davened Maariv around 12:30.

Wednesday, Parshas Shlach — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Rebbe davened Shacharis in Heichal HaMesivta, Yoel Moshe branch. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim, the bochur Yaakov, son of R' Moshe Wolf Friedman.

After davening, the Rebbe recited the daily Tehillim shiur, on chapter 25, verse 11. Afterwards, a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochurim in his private room.

In the evening, the Rebbe served as mesader kiddushin at the chuppah of the mechutanim:
- R' Avrohom Jabbra and R' Nissim Sahl in the Kinor David halls.
- R' Yoel Weiss Schwartz and R' Shalom Yonason Klein in the Beis Rachel Paradise halls.
- R' Yoel Eckstein and R' Meir Moshe Spitzer in the Ginas Klein halls.

The yechidus hours at the Rebbe's holy home on Ohel Court were from 8:00 until 12:45 at night.

The Rebbe davened Mincha around 9:15 and then continued receiving the public.

During the yechidus hours, HaGaon Rabbi Yitzchak Strauss shlit"a, rav of Kehillas Toras Chaim in Gateshead, came in. A pleasant conversation ensued about Yiddishkeit in Gateshead and about the local shechita. He also presented the newly reprinted Siddur Chasam Sofer, which his father had reprinted, and the Rebbe gave him a blessing from his holy lips.

The Rebbe shlit"a read the tenaim of the mechutanim R' Yoel Neumann and R' Zalman Leib Falkowitz in the tenaim halls in his holy home.

The Rebbe davened Maariv around 12:45.

Tuesday, Parshas Shlach, 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Rebbe davened Shacharis in Heichal HaMesivta, Sniff Eitz Chaim - Shiur Gimmel. Before davening, the Rebbe put on tefillin with the bar mitzvah bochur, the bochur Moshe Levi Braun.

After davening, the Rebbe recited the daily Tehillim shiur, on chapter 25, verse 18. Afterwards, a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochurim in the Heichal HaBeis Medrash.

During the morning hours, the students of ninth grade of Mosdos Ohr Moshe in Boro Park came in, led by HaGaon Rabbi Bentzion Strasser shlit"a, Av Beis Din of Nitra, Boro Park. The Rebbe tested the bochurim on their studies in Maseches Kiddushin, and they went over to receive a blessing.

In the afternoon at around 4:00, the Rebbe came to the Sheva Brachos celebration in the hall in his holy home, arranged by the Rebbe shlit"a for the family members and the rabbanim and askanim of the Vaad HaMikvaos of Kiryas Joel.
The Rebbe washed for the seudah. During the seudah, several members of the Vaad posed various questions about mikvaos in halacha, practice, and history, and the Rebbe answered with good reasoning and insight, and spoke at length about many customs regarding mikvaos among the holy Rebbes zy"a of the house of Sighet, and told stories about the importance of a mikvah among earlier tzaddikim.
During the seudah, R' Yisroel Adler and R' Yoel Klein from Eretz Yisroel entertained with music and words of humor in honor of the simcha.

At around 6:00, the Gerrer Rebbe shlit"a arrived at the Sheva Brachos. A pleasant conversation ensued, and the Rebbe honored him with a lechayim and bestowed his holy blessing. Several niggunim were sung, and the Rebbe broke into a dance of tzaddikim together with the guest of honor. Afterwards, the Rebbe escorted him out to the car, bid him a warm farewell, and wished him a safe and easy trip home to Eretz Yisroel.

They continued with niggunim of thanksgiving, and the Rebbe got up to dance for an extended time around the hall, and afterwards delivered words of Torah on the topic of marriage and concluded with abundant blessings.
For Birkas HaMazon, the Rebbe honored his brother's father-in-law, HaGaon, Rav of the beis medrash Ohel Feiga shlit"a; the first brachos: HaGaon, Rav of the beis medrash Beis Baruch shlit"a; the final bracha: his brother's father-in-law, HaGaon, Rav of the beis medrash Beis Chaim Yaakov shlit"a. It ended at around 7:00.

After bentching, a bris for a newborn son of R' Yechezkel Shraga Glantz took place in his holy home, at which the Rebbe served as sandek.

Afterwards, the Rebbe traveled into Williamsburg for the weekly reception hours. At around 8:40 the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy home on Hewes St. Afterwards, there were reception hours in his holy home until 12:00 at night.

During the reception hours, the Mashpia HaGaon R' Yehuda Deutsch shlit"a from the holy city of Yerushalayim, may it be rebuilt, came for a visit. A pleasant conversation ensued, the Rebbe gave him his sefer Lev Aharon - Sugyos, and bestowed his holy blessing.

Also coming in was HaGaon R' Shlomo Yaakov Zida Eichenstein shlit"a, Av Beis Din of Galanta, son of the Galanta Rebbe shlit"a, together with his son the chosson, to receive a blessing in honor of his son's upcoming marriage, mazel tov. A pleasant conversation ensued and the Rebbe bestowed his holy blessing upon him.

In addition, the Rebbe shlit"a had the distinguished chassid R' Yitzchak Schwartz, patron of "Toras'cha Sha'ashuai," called over, and the Rebbe thanked him for the magnificent, warm siyum he hosted this past Sunday in the presence of thousands upon thousands of Jews. The Rebbe expressed the feelings of his pure heart over the uplifting event, and gave him encouragement to continue with even greater strength and vigor.

The Rebbe davened Maariv at around 10:30 and then continued receiving the public.

After the reception hours, the Rebbe traveled to Monsey for the wedding celebration of the granddaughter of his brother, HaGaon, Rav of our kehilla in Boro Park 15 shlit"a. The kallah is the daughter of his son, R' Aharon Teitelbaum shlit"a, Rav of the beis medrash Eitz Chaim Sighet Monsey. The chosson is Avrohom Shlomo, son of R' Yehoshua Heshel Silber shlit"a, son of HaGaon R' Menachem Zachary Silber shlit"a, Av Beis Din of Bnei Moshe Freiman shlit"a, and a son-in-law of HaGaon Rabbi Menashe Katz shlit"a, Av Beis Din of Kol Yehuda Freiman.
The Rebbe arrived at around 12:50 at the halls of Ateres Charna for the wedding celebration and greeted the rabbanim at the head table. A pleasant conversation ensued, and the Rebbe drank a lechayim and warmly wished the chosson, the mechutanim, his brother shlit"a, and the entire assembly mazel tov.
Honored with Birkas HaMazon was HaGaon Rabbi Avrohom Meir Halberstam shlit"a, dayan of our beis medrash on 18th Ave. in Boro Park, and with the Sheva Brachos, the family members, and the Rebbe recited the final bracha.

The badchan of the king, R' Mordechai Dovid Oesterreicher, called the Rebbe shlit"a to the dancing with warm rhymes. The Rebbe drank a lechayim and watched the holy dancing for an extended time, and afterwards danced with the chosson and the mechutan, and then with the family of his brother shlit"a, and broke out in a festive dance with his brother shlit"a.
The Rebbe left the hall at around 1:30 and, on his way out, wished the kallah mazel tov as is customary, and traveled home to his holy home in Kiryas Joel.

Monday, Parshas Shlach — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

This morning, before Shacharis, a bris took place for a newborn son of R' Aryeh Perl, where the Rebbe served as sandek and mohel.

The Rebbe davened Shacharis in Heichal HaMesivta, the Divrei Yoel branch. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim:
- the bochur Eliezer Weiss.
- the bochur Yoel Bra"sh Schwartz.

During the Torah reading, the Rebbe went up for hagbah, and after davening he learned the daily Tehillim shiur, on chapter 25, verse 11. Afterward, a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochurim in his private room.

In the afternoon hours, the local Congressman, "Pat Ryan," together with the Kiryas Joel administration, came to the Rebbe's holy home to receive a blessing for his hard work on behalf of the new education law in New York. They discussed various approaches for what to do going forward if the Education Department continues to try to exploit the loopholes in the law, and he promised to continue standing by to help with whatever will be needed. Other matters concerning assistance for Kiryas Joel were also discussed, and the Rebbe thanked him very warmly for his help and wished him blessings.

At about 6:50, the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy home, at Zanz Street.

Yechidus was held from 7:15 until 10:45 at night, in the Rebbe's holy home on Ohel Street.

During yechidus, HaGaon Rabbi Asher Anshel Jungreis shlit"a, Av Beis Din of Chengers London, entered, and a pleasant conversation ensued. The Rebbe blessed him.

After sunset, at about 8:30, the Rebbe officiated at kiddushin at the chuppah of the mechutanim:
- R' Yaakov Bra"a Schwartz and R' Shmuel Shlomo Teller shlit"a, in the Kinor David halls.
- R' Shimshon Eliezer Marmorstein and HaGaon Rabbi Dovid Greenfeld shlit"a, moreh tzedek, in the Ginas Klein halls.
- HaGaon Rabbi Dovid Hirsch shlit"a, moreh tzedek in our holy kehilla of Williamsburg, and R' Yitzchak Menachem Berger, in the Beis Rachel Paradise halls.

After the chuppahs, at about 9:10, the Rebbe went to the shopping center halls for the Sheva Brachos celebration hosted by HaGaon HaGadol, the Av Beis Din shlit"a, in honor of the wedding of his granddaughter, mazel tov to the kallah, the daughter of his son-in-law, the tzaddik R' Yosef Mordechai Wagschal shlit"a. A pleasant conversation in halachic matters took place. The Rebbe drank a lechayim, tasted some of the mezonos and fish, and blessed the chosson and the mechutanim, and especially his friend HaGaon HaGadol, the Av Beis Din shlit"a.
After bentching, the Rebbe recited the Sheva Brachos, and stood up to dance together with the entire head table, and afterward separately with the chosson and with HaGaon HaGadol, the Av Beis Din shlit"a.

The Rebbe left the hall at about 9:40 and returned to his holy home on Ohel Street, to continue yechidus.

During yechidus, the askan R' Chanoch Zeibert, Deputy Mayor of Bnei Brak, entered. The Rebbe inquired about the details of the war situation in Eretz Yisroel and the aftermath in the city of Bnei Brak, and the Rebbe blessed him.

Also entering was a delegation of Belz rabbonim, sent by the Belzer Rebbe shlit"a, to receive his blessing in honor of the wedding of his granddaughter, which takes place this Wednesday of Shlach in Eretz Yisroel, and the Rebbe blessed them.

The Rebbe shlit"a read the tenaim of the mechutanim:
- R' Yaakov Shalom Weiss shlit"a and R' Yosef Moshe Forgacs shlit"a.
- R' Yaakov Yosef Melamed and R' Pesach Chaim Kramer.

At about 11:10, the Rebbe went to Beis Medrash Avnei Tzedek for the central Sheva Brachos in our holy courts, hosted by the mispallelim of the beis medrash in honor of the Rebbe shlit"a and his friend, HaGaon HaTzaddik, rav of the beis medrash shlit"a. Upon arrival, the Rebbe danced in place for a few minutes, drank a lechayim, wished the chosson, the mechutanim and the entire assembly well, delivered a few words on the topic of marriage, and concluded with abundant blessings.
Afterward, the Rebbe stood up to dance. During bentching, the Rebbe honored his friend HaGaon HaTzaddik, rav of the beis medrash shlit"a, with the first blessings; HaGaon HaTzaddik, Av Beis Din of Williamsburg shlit"a, with the first of the blessings; and the final blessing was given to HaGaon Rabbi Simcha Shalom Steinberger shlit"a, rav of Beis Medrash Divrei Chaim.

The Rebbe then davened Maariv in the heichal of the beis medrash. It concluded at about 12:00.

Sunday, Parshas Shelach — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

In the morning, before Shacharis, the following brissim took place:
- The son born to R' Elimelech Landau, where the Rebbe served as sandek.
- The son born to R' Kalman Wolf Herskowitz, where the Rebbe served as sandek.
- The son born to R' Yuda Yoel Levinger (of the Williamsburg Beis Din), where the Rebbe served as sandek.

The Rebbe davened Shacharis in the Beis Medrash HaGadol. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim:
- The bochur Efraim Teitelbaum.
- The bochur Shlomo Aharon Sofer.
- The bochur Yonah Yechezkel Lebowitz.
- The bochur Chaim Yeshaya Asher Mendlowitz.
After davening, a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochurim in the Rebbe's private room.


At around 1:20 the Rebbe set out on the way to Monsey, to the gigantic RCC complex in Monsey, for the historic "Simchas Siyum V'Hatchalas HaShas."

On the way, the Rebbe connected by phone with the directors of our holy mosdos in Eretz Yisroel, in light of the grave situation, may Hashem protect them, to hear how the days are passing among the mosdos, and he wished that everyone be saved from all evil, that nothing should, chas v'shalom, harm anyone.
The Rebbe arrived at around 2:00 and went immediately into the "Maamad Limud Kol HaShas," where the entire crowd together completed the learning of the whole Shas. The Rebbe walked among the tables with great nachas, and afterward sat down at a specially designated platform at the head, where the Rebbe engaged in Torah study with deep iyun together with his longtime chavrusa, HaGaon Rabbi, Av Beis Din of Reishis Chochmah shlit"a, until about 4:00.

After several minutes the Rebbe entered for Mincha with a large crowd. Before Mincha, by order of the Rebbe, everyone recited chapters of Tehillim together in light of the situation in Eretz Yisroel, with HaGaon Rabbi, Av Beis Din of the Williamsburg Beis Din shlit"a, reciting Chapter 20 and Chapter 130 verse by verse. Then Mincha was davened, with the baal tefillah HaGaon Rabbi Avrohom Chaim Motzen shlit"a. After Mincha the Rebbe went into his private room in the hall.

At around 7:00 the Rebbe entered for the grand seudah in honor of the Torah, in honor of the Siyum HaShas, and greeted the rabbonim at the head, among them HaGaon Rabbi Yosef Binyamin Wosner shlit"a, the Shevet HaLevi Rebbe, HaGaon Rabbi Avrohom Chaim Halberstam shlit"a of Rudnik, and many other rabbonim and dayanim of our holy kehilla.
The Rebbe washed for the seudah, and the distinguished patron of the chabura, R' Yitzchak Schwartz, continued with his address. Afterward the chairman, HaGaon Rabbi Shlomo Shabsai Kestenbaum shlit"a, one of the rabbonim of the chabura, spoke.
Melodies of inspiration and attachment to Torah study were sung, and the baal menagen, R' Yisroel Adler of Eretz Yisroel, sang special rhymed verses of inspiration in honor of the occasion.

Afterward the Rebbe delivered holy words of Torah, weaving in the end of Shas. He said that there is even greater honor of Heaven when, after an entire day of being burdened with livelihood and sustenance, one then recites Krias Shema, accepts the yoke of the kingdom of Heaven, and sets times for Torah, and then he is assured that he is a ben Olam Haba. A siyum HaShas by Torah scholars whose Torah is their occupation is very important, but when those completing are baalei batim who are engaged in livelihood and sustenance, it is much more, and it has tremendous significance. He expressed the great joy and feelings that the distinguished finishers have, and spoke at length in praise of the righteous and modest women who have an equal share in the simcha and in the blessings that descend. He urged everyone to strengthen themselves and set fixed times for Torah study with complete consistency now as the new cycle begins. After completing Shas one must have a holy pride; the whole daily schedule must be on a higher level: "I am a Shas Yid." He especially praised the distinguished finishers who merited to complete together with their children and grandchildren, and urged the distinguished beginners to start together with children and grandchildren, which is a physical and spiritual pleasure. The Rebbe stressed that one must draw close to Hashem through chassidic seforim, especially the introduction of the holy sefer Derech Pikudecha by the holy Bnei Yissaschar.
During the siyum one must daven to merit the study and sweetness of Torah. He mentioned davening for our brethren in Eretz Yisroel, that they be saved from all trouble and from the decrees of the draft, for our brethren in England, from the decree on chinuch, that we in New York also need Heavenly mercy to be saved from this, and for our brethren in Antwerp, that they be saved from the decrees against the holy mitzvah of bris milah.
The Rebbe concluded with praise of the askanim of the chabura, headed by the patron of the chabura, the distinguished R' Yitzchak Schwartz, who invested 12 years of effort in both money and labor, and wished them that they be able to continue with even greater strength and vigor, and concluded with a holy blessing.

The singing of melodies of Torah study continued for an extended time with great inspiration.

The distinguished R' Yitzchak Schwartz was honored to conclude the first cycle of learning Shas by finishing Maseches Niddah, and HaGaon R' Yosef Chaim Greenwald shlit"a spoke a few words and began the new cycle of learning Shas with Maseches Berachos. Then the entire assembly of finishers together recited the Hadran, and the orphans recited Kaddish, and everyone broke out into festive, uplifting dancing for an extended time in the joy of the Torah.

The seudah continued, and they merited to hear by telephone the word of Hashem from Yerushalayim from the Posek HaDor and Mara D'Asra of the holy city shlit"a, who expressed the tremendous joy of the evening and said that he truly wanted to participate personally in the simcha, but his strength does not permit it. He wished all the finishers and beginners that they continue to learn and toil in Torah, and concluded with a blessing of Torah for his friend and colleague, the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a.
Likewise, during the seudah, words of blessing were heard by telephone from HaGaon Rabbi Yaakov Meir Schechter shlit"a of Eretz Yisroel.
Also, a letter sent by the Toldos Aharon Rebbe shlit"a in honor of the event was read aloud.

The mashbak, R' Chaim Shlomo Fischer, called up, on behalf of the Rebbe, with eloquent words, the patron of the chabura, R' Yitzchak Schwartz, to receive a special gift and blessing from the Rebbe shlit"a. The Rebbe presented R' Yitzchak with a silver menorah as a token of appreciation for his many efforts on behalf of the chabura, and warmly wished him many blessings.

Afterward the chairman, HaGaon Rabbi Shlomo Shabsai shlit"a, called up the distinguished R' Yaakov Zusman Sofer, patron of the chabura in Kiryas Joel, the distinguished R' Shalom Yitzchak Yakobowitz, patron of the chabura from Bnei Brak and Beis Shemesh, and R' Yehoshua Hersh Glick of Boro Park, the lifeblood of the chabura, to receive a gift from the Rebbe shlit"a.

At the lechayim after the meat course, the Rebbe wished a holy blessing to the entire assembly and related a story about the holy Belzer Rebbe zy"a, who said that it is chutzpah and brazenness to learn Gemara and Tosafos without a beard and peyos. The Rebbe praised that we stand here at a siyum HaShas where many hundreds of Jews, chassidim and men of deeds, G-d-fearing and wholesome, with beards and peyos, completed all of Shas, meaning, learned with derech eretz! He wished abundant blessings to the entire assembly.

Afterward the distinguished HaGaon Rabbi Efraim Waxman shlit"a, rosh yeshiva of Maor HaTorah, spoke in praise of those who learn Torah.

The Rebbe honored R' Yitzchak Schwartz with leading the bentching, and the Rebbe recited the Sheva Brachos for close to a minyan of chassanim from our community, children of mechutanim who completed Shas. The event ended at around 10:30 and the Rebbe davened Maariv in a side room.

At around 11:00 the Rebbe set out for home to Kiryas Joel.

Upon arriving in Kiryas Joel, the Rebbe traveled to the tenaim at his holy residence on Ohel Street for the tenaim celebration of the mechutanim R' Dovid Stuhl and R' Moshe Yeshaya Wertzberger of Montreal, Eretz Yisroel, and the Rebbe wished a holy blessing to the chassan, the mechutanim, and the entire family. Afterward the Rebbe went home to his holy residence on Zanz Street.

Shabbos Kodesh, Parshas Beha'aloscha — Shabbos of Simcha — Sheva Brachos Shabbos for the granddaughter of the Rebbe, the kallah, daughter of the Rebbe's brother-in-law HaGaon Rabbi, Rav of Beis Medrash Avnei Tzedek shlit"a — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

Before candle lighting, the Rebbe placed the shtreimel on the chassanim.
- The chassan Moshe Yehuda, the bochur son of Meir Yitzchak Weiss.
- The chassan Moshe, son of R' Baruch Shlomo Weinberger shlit"a.

Friday night at around 9:05, the Rebbe entered the beis medrash wrapped in his tallis, accompanied by the chassan and the shushbinim with song and zemer, and the Rebbe went to the amud for Mincha. Kabbolas Shabbos: the Malesk Rebbe shlit"a. They finished at around 10:40. An appeal was made for the Markaz Ezrah V'Eitzah L'Hatzalas Bachurei Yisroel from the Decree of the Draft in Eretz Yisroel. The congregation then came to wish a good Shabbos, and the Rebbe went home to his holy residence.

At around 12:50, the Rebbe entered the holy table in the main beis medrash and began, as is his custom, with Sholom Aleichem with emotion and sweetness.
Eishes Chayil: the Rebbe's grandson Yoel, may he be well, son of the Rebbe's brother-in-law HaGaon Rabbi, Rav of Beis Medrash Beirach Moshe shlit"a. Lifting of the cup: the Rebbe's brother-in-law HaGaon Rabbi, Rav of Beis Medrash Avnei Tzedek shlit"a.

During the zemiros, the Rebbe honored the children of the mechutan, HaGaon Rabbi, Av Beis Din of Glogov shlit"a. Kol Mekadesh: Rabbi Meir Shmuel Moskowitz shlit"a; Menucha V'Simcha: Rabbi Yisroel Avrohom Teitelbaum shlit"a.

The Rebbe shlit"a said Torah on the verse 'There were men who were impure through contact with a dead person,' and explained in the manner of drush the sugya of "shelo k'derech achila."

Kah Echsof: Rabbi Simcha Rubin shlit"a. Rabbi Simcha Hager shlit"a, grandson of the Vizhnitz Rebbe shlit"a in Eretz Yisroel, was honored to sing Rachem.
Birkas Hamazon: the mechutan, HaGaon Rabbi, Av Beis Din of Glogov shlit"a. First brachos: the Rebbe's brother-in-law HaGaon Rabbi, Rav of Beis Medrash Avnei Tzedek shlit"a. Last bracha: HaGaon R' Hershel Ashkenazi shlit"a, menahel of the Yeshiva Ketana branch Be'er HaTorah, Williamsburg.

The new chassanim went to take fruit. A Sholom Zachor was held at R' Yechezkel Shraga Glantz.

The yungerman R' Yechezkel Shraga Philipoff called the Rebbe shlit"a to the mitzvah tanz, and the Rebbe danced the holy dances before the kallah with great enthusiasm, then danced with the chassan, and honored the mechutanim to dance the mitzvah tanz.
Az Bayom Hashvi'i: HaGaon R' Shimon Elimelech Glick shlit"a, dayan in the Belz beis medrash, 99 London. The Rebbe danced in a circle in the hall of the beis medrash together with the chassan, the mechutanim and the family members. They finished at around 3:10.

And on the holy Shabbos day

The Rebbe shlit"a said Torah on the verse 'And when the Ark traveled,' and explained that there is an aspect called the "eyes of Hashem," Divine providence over creation, and there is also an aspect of the "ears of Hashem," that Hashem is One Who hears the prayer of every mouth. One must believe that no matter what the situation, Hashem hears the prayers and sends salvation, both materially and spiritually. He also mentioned that we should daven for our brethren, the residents of Eretz Yisroel, who are in distress.

Yedid Nefesh: R' Mordechai Yehuda Stern. Kel Mistater: R' Eliyahu Shlomo Kohn shlit"a. They continued singing joyous melodies. The Rebbe made the bracha over the cup and recited the Sheva Brachos.

Maariv of Motzei Shabbos: R' Chaim Kornbluh. After Havdalah the congregation came to wish a good week. They finished at around 11:15.

After Havdalah there was a time of entry for dozens of chassidim from London who came on the occasion of the historic siyum HaShas in the framework of the Toras'cha Sha'ashuai group.

At around 1:00 after midnight (morning in Eretz Yisroel), the directors of our holy mosdos in Eretz Yisroel, in Yerushalayim, Bnei Brak and Beit Shemesh, connected with the Rebbe shlit"a to ask his holy opinion regarding keeping the mosdos open during the current days of war. The Rebbe gave his holy directive to open the talmud torah and the yeshiva ketana, and the students above second grade, saying that Torah protects and saves, and there is no need to worry.

At around 1:15 the Rebbe went to affix a mezuzah in the beis medrash in the home of Rabbi Efraim Goldman shlit"a. The Rebbe affixed a mezuzah, drank a lechayim, and imparted his holy blessing.
