Wednesday, Parshas Chukas, "B'tzeil HaKodesh" with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

Before davening, a bris took place for the newborn son of R' Shlomo Menashe Lebovitch, at which the Rebbe served as sandek.

The Rebbe davened Shacharis in Yeshiva Gedolah, the Veyoel Moshe branch.
Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochur, the bochur Chizkiya Faivel Shehr.

After davening, the Rebbe recited the daily Tehillim shiur, on chapter 26, verse 12.
Afterwards, a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochur in the Rebbe's private room.

In the afternoon, the Rebbe went up to the yeshiva, the Kedushas Yoel branch, where the Rebbe learned with a chavrusa in his private room.

During the afternoon hours, the Rebbe made a short visit to the new building of the mikvah tahara, which was renovated in recent weeks, together with the distinguished philanthropist R' Yoel Landau, one of the leading donors of the mikvah.
The Rebbe looked around for an extended time at all the floors and sections of the building and showed R' Yoel the many chumros and hiddurim, and the sophisticated system by which it is operated.
The Rebbe bestowed a blessing of kedusha upon R' Yoel and upon the mikvah's administration.

In the evening, the Rebbe officiated at kiddushin at the chuppah of the mechutanim HaGaon R' Yaakov Elazar Mendlowitz z"l, Rav of Beis Medrash Halacha Berurah, and R' Yoel Fish, in the halls of Kinor Dovid.
And at the chuppah of the mechutanim R' Bentzion Blum and R' Moshe Kraus, in the halls of Beis Rochel Paradise.
And at the chuppah of the mechutanim R' Moshe Michel Schlesinger and R' Yoel Spitzer, in the halls of Ginas Klein.

Between the chuppos, the Rebbe participated in the siyum HaShas celebration hosted by Rabbi Yoel Weinberger shlit"a, director of Kevias Itim LaTorah in Kiryas Joel.
A lovely conversation developed; the Rebbe drank a lechayim and warmly blessed Rabbi Yoel shlit"a and his family.

Entry hours were from 8:20 until 12:45 at night at the Rebbe's holy home on Uhel Court.

Around 9:15, the Rebbe davened Mincha at his holy home.

Around 10:40, the Rebbe read the tenaim of the mechutanim R' Moshe Bassoul and R' Avrohom Gabra in the tenaim hall at his holy home.

The Rebbe davened Maariv around 12:45.

After Maariv, the Rebbe went over to the home of his grandson HaGaon R' Chaim Hersh Ashkenazi shlit"a, Rav of Beis Medrash Rav Tuv, to the Vach Nacht celebration in honor of the birth of his son, mazel tov. A lovely conversation ensued about the Holy Rebbe, the Baruch Taam zy"a, whose yahrzeit is today, 7 Tammuz. The Rebbe tasted mezonos and fish, drank a lechayim, and blessed the baal simcha HaGaon R' Chaim Hersh shlit"a, the grandfathers, his brother-in-law the HaGaon HaTzaddik, Av Beis Din of Boro Park shlit"a, and the Chadvan HaGaon HaTzaddik, Rav of Beis Medrash Avnei Tzedek shlit"a, and the entire congregation. Afterwards the Rebbe recited Krias Shema and blessed the mothers who had given birth, as is customary. It concluded around 1:40.

Tuesday, Parshas Chukas — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Rebbe davened Shacharis in Yeshiva Gedolah, the Eitz Chaim branch – Shiur Gimmel. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochur, the bochur Yoel Heller, son of R' Chaim Heller.

After davening, the Rebbe said over the daily Tehillim shiur on chapter 26, verse 1. Afterwards, a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochur in the heichal of the beis medrash.

In the afternoon at around 5:00, the Rebbe arrived in Linden, where the ceremony of pouring the foundations for the mikvah in our new beis medrash and for the community's tahara mikvah took place.
The Rebbe greeted the Rav of our Linden kehilla shlit"a and his father-in-law, HaGaon HaTzaddik Rabbi Anshel Shoer shlit"a, Av Beis Din of Klausen, and entered the heichal of the beis medrash and looked over the construction work. There he heard a report from R' Yaakov Yoel Weiss, one of the gabbaim of the beis medrash, about the plans to complete the beis medrash by this coming winter, b'ezras Hashem. Then he went down to the lower floor and looked over the heichal haTorah that is being built.
The Rebbe then poured the foundations and honored the Rabbonim HaGeonim shlit"a and members of our holy kehilla to pour the foundations. Afterwards the Rebbe went upstairs to a lechayim gathering in the heichal of the beis medrash. Present at the lechayim were the rabbonim of the city, the Kosson Rebbe shlit"a and the Rachmistrivka-Linden Rebbe shlit"a, and a pleasant conversation ensued. Several niggunim were sung, and the Rav of our kehilla shlit"a spoke.
The Rebbe drank lechayim and warmly wished the Rabbonim shlit"a and the entire assembly well, and delivered words of Torah on the verse "Zos chukas haTorah," bringing out that the talmidim of the Baal Shem Tov instituted that one should learn and daven in a state of purity and go to the mikvah every day. Therefore, it is a great simcha that we have come today to pour a mikvah in a beis medrash where people learn and daven. He concluded with abundant blessings for the entire assembly and wished that the beis medrash and the mikvah be renewed soon and speedily. The gathering ended at around 5:40.

Afterwards the Rebbe went over to the new, huge building that was purchased for our mosdos in Linden, and walked through the building to look around. He heard a report about the building's plans from the dedicated askanim of the mosdos, and also from the distinguished philanthropist R' Avrohom Brach, one of the great benefactors of our holy mosdos in Linden, and gave his holy blessing to the mosdos' administration.

Afterwards the Rebbe went over to the adjacent office building owned by the distinguished philanthropist R' Avrohom Brach to a lechayim gathering on the occasion of the signing of the contract for the mosdos building. A pleasant conversation developed about the expansion of the boundaries of holiness in Linden. The Rebbe drank lechayim and wished abundant blessings to R' Avrohom and to the entire assembly.

Afterwards the Rebbe went over to the pouring of the foundations at the tahara mikvah of our holy kehilla. The Rebbe poured the foundations and honored the Rabbonim shlit"a and the donors of the mikvah to pour the foundations. Afterwards a lechayim gathering was held, and a pleasant conversation ensued. The Rebbe drank a lechayim, and all the donors of the mikvah went over to receive the holy blessing. In particular, the Rebbe extended his holy blessing to the distinguished benefactor R' Yitzchak Zev Lefkowitz. The Rebbe also wished well to R' Yaakov Menachem Stief shlit"a, chairman of the city's tahara mikvah.
Then the Rebbe imparted a holy blessing and wished that the merit of increasing purity among Klal Yisroel should bring all good to the donors of the mikvah.

At around 6:30 the Rebbe left Linden and traveled to Williamsburg for the weekly zmanei kenisa (receiving hours).

The zmanei kenisa in the Rebbe's holy home on Hooper St. took place from 8:00 until 11:30 at night.

The Rebbe davened Mincha at around 9:00 and Maariv at around 10:00.

Monday, Parshas Chukas — "B'tzeil HaKodesh" with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

In the morning, before Shacharis, a bris took place for the newborn son of R' Binyamin Eidelish, at which the Rebbe served as sandek.

The Rebbe davened Shacharis in the yeshiva gedolah, Divrei Yoel branch. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the twin bar mitzvah bochurim, sons of R' Moshe Zev Friedman.

During the Torah reading, the Rebbe went up for hagbah. After davening, he recited the daily Tehillim shiur, on chapter 26, verse 1. Afterwards, a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochurim in his private room.

In the afternoon, the Rebbe went up to the yeshiva, Divrei Yoel branch, where he learned with a chavrusa from among the yeshiva's students in his private room.

In the evening, the Rebbe officiated at kiddushin at the chuppah of the following mechutanim:
- HaRav Yosef Dovid Levy shlit"a and R' Yoel son of R' Moshe Falkowitz in the halls of Kinor Dovid.
- R' Mordechai Yaakov Klein and R' Yoel son of R' Yisroel Schnitzer in the halls of Beis Rochel Paradise.
- R' Berel Greenhut and R' Meir Yoshe Berkowitz in the halls of Ginas Klein.

At around 8:40, the Rebbe davened Mincha in his home, in the Ohel Kt. Afterwards, there were entry times in Kiryas Joel until 12:45 at night.

The Rebbe shlit"a read the tenaim of the mechutanim:
- R' Yechiel Palatchek and R' Hillel Neiman.
- R' Chaim Ber Mendlowitz and R' Pinchas Yechezkel Breuer.

During the entry times, the Skulen Rebbe shlit"a visited in Kiryas Joel. A pleasant conversation ensued about his grandfather, the holy Rabbi Meir Greenwald zt"l, Av Beis Din of Tetch, and about the years when the Baal Kedushas Yom Tov zy"a served as rav in the city of Tetch. The Rebbe honored him with a lechayim, bestowed his holy blessing upon him, and accompanied him out to the door.

The Rebbe davened Maariv at around 12:45.

Sunday, Parshas Chukas, 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

In the morning, before Shacharis, the following brissen took place:
- The son born to R' Yaakov Friedman, at which the Rebbe served as sandek and mohel.
- The son born to R' Avieizer Mordechai Schwartz, at which the Rebbe served as sandek and mohel.

The Rebbe davened Shacharis in Yeshiva Gedolah, the Kedushas Yoel branch. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim:
- The bochur Chananya Yom Tov Lipa Sofer.
- The bochur Yitzchak Moshe Gross.
- The bochur Yaakov Yoel Sapdi.
- The bochur Avrohom Weinstein.

After davening, the Rebbe recited the daily Tehillim shiur, on chapter 26, verse 1. Afterward a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochurim in his private room.

At around 2:00 the Rebbe arrived at the Ateres Charna Hall in Monsey for the annual Chumash seudah of the students of our holy mosdos. The Rebbe greeted the rabbis at the head table, and the children sang several songs and rhymes in honor of the occasion. Afterward all the children came over and the Rebbe gave each one a Tehillim.
The Rebbe drank lechayim and bestowed blessings upon all the children and their parents, and spoke words of blessing to the children, emphasizing the importance of learning Torah with peyos, and bestowed abundant blessings.

Afterward the Rebbe entered a side room where the twelfth-grade students of Bais Rochel of our holy mosdos had gathered. The Rebbe spoke words of guidance to the students, stressing that now, as they leave Bais Rochel after so many years, they must keep in mind what is expected of a Bais Rochel graduate, especially as this is the first year of the graduating class in our holy mosdos in Monsey, and when the fruits of Bais Rochel are examined, they are examined closely. This demands of each one a tremendous responsibility to create a Kiddush Hashem. The Rebbe continued with words of guidance on how a Jewish home should be run, and concluded with his holy blessing.

At 3:00 the Rebbe arrived at the Talmud Torah building, the 'Goldstein Building,' on Monsey Blvd. The Rebbe entered the beis medrash where the students of the mosdos were learning Torah, and went among the children and bochurim and engaged in the learning with great satisfaction.

Afterward the Rebbe entered a side classroom where the students of the mosdos who had brought in larger sums for the benefit of our holy mosdos came over, and the Rebbe distributed coins and siddurim.

From there the Rebbe went to the building of Yeshiva Ketana, the Kinyan Torah branch, under the direction of HaRav Asher Anshil Griesgott shlit"a. Upon arrival the Rebbe looked over the construction work on the new yeshiva building being built alongside it, and heard a report from R' Hershel Wertheimer - a member of the yeshiva's board.
The Rebbe entered the yeshiva's hall, looked over the learning, and walked among the tables with great pleasure, and bestowed blessings upon the yeshiva's administration.

From there the Rebbe went to Yeshiva Ketana, the Darchei Torah branch, under the direction of HaRav Shaul Yechezkel Perlstein shlit"a. The Rebbe entered the yeshiva's hall, went among the tables and looked over the learning with great satisfaction, and bestowed blessings upon the yeshiva's administration.

Afterward, at around 4:00, the Rebbe went to our new beis medrash, Beirach Moshe, in the Spring Valley area, which opened in recent months. The Rebbe toured the entire beis medrash building and looked into the davening rooms, the mikvah, and the ezras nashim. Then a lechayim gathering was held in the beis medrash's main hall. Several songs were sung, and R' Yoel Shmuel Gottlieb, one of the gabbaim of the beis medrash, spoke.

The Rebbe drank lechayim and extended blessings to the Av Beis Din of Monsey shlit"a, to HaRav Aharon Isriel shlit"a, a moreh tzedek, and to the entire congregation, especially to the benefactor and patron of the beis medrash, R' Moshe Yitzchak Landau.
Then the Rebbe spoke words of Torah and expressed his great satisfaction with the expansion of the borders of holiness of our kehilla and our holy mosdos in Monsey, both in quantity and in quality, and concluded with his holy blessing for the entire congregation, particularly for R' Moshe Yitzchak, who donated and established such a beautiful beis medrash, and said that the main beauty of a beis medrash is when it is full of those who learn Torah, and bestowed abundant blessings.

From there the Rebbe traveled to the new beis medrash building 'Lev Aharon' in the West Maple neighborhood, which is in the deep stages of construction. The Rebbe entered and looked over the construction work on all floors, accompanied by R' Hershel Wertheimer - benefactor and patron of the beis medrash, and bestowed abundant blessings. At around 4:40 the Rebbe set out on the way home to his residence in Kiryas Joel.

In the evening the Rebbe officiated at kiddushin at the chuppah of the mechutanim:
- R' Yehuda Yosef Weinstock and R' Shraga Chaim Feder, in the Kinor Dovid halls.
- R' Yoel Dana and R' Chaim Mordechai Shema, in the Bais Rochel Paradise halls.
- R' Lipa Neustadt and R' Yitzchak Moskowitz, in the Ginas Klein halls.

At around 8:10 the Rebbe davened Mincha in his residence on Ohel Court.

After Mincha the Rebbe went to the front of the Yeshiva Ketana building, the Yismach Moshe branch, for the levaya of HaRav Yisroel Chaim Gutman a"h, a rebbi in the yeshiva.

Yechidus hours were from 9:00 until 12:45 at night in his residence on Ohel Court.

The Rebbe shlit"a read the tenaim of the mechutanim:
- R' Ari Hershkowitz and R' Chaim Shlomo Wertheimer.
- R' Menachem Shmuel Frankel and R' Avrohom Yitzchak Meir Wertzberger (of Williamsburg).

After the tenaim, the Rebbe went to be menachem avel at the family of R' Yisroel Chaim Gutman a"h, and after the nichum aveilim returned to his residence on Ohel Court to continue the yechidus hours.

During the yechidus hours, the Rav of our kehilla in Lindenwood, HaRav shlit"a, entered together with prominent members of the community to invite the Rebbe to the ceremony of pouring the foundations for the mikvah at our beis medrash in Lindenwood, which will take place this Tuesday, and the Rebbe conferred of his holy blessing.

The Rebbe davened Maariv at around 12:45.

Shabbos Kodesh, Parshas Korach — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

Before candle-lighting time, the Rebbe put on the shtreimel for the chasanim.
- The chasan Shmuel Moshe, son of HaGaon R' Yaakov Elazar Mendlowitz z"l.
- The chasan Moshe, son of the bochur Yoel Mermelstein.

On Friday night at around 9:05, the Rebbe entered the beis medrash wrapped in his tallis and approached the amud for Mincha. Kabbalas Shabbos: HaRav Hershel Cohen shlit"a. They finished at around 10:35. The congregation went over to wish a "gut Shabbos," and the Rebbe went into his private room.

At around 11:05, the Rebbe came to the holy table in the Heichal HaShulchanos together with the talmidei hamesivta and, as is his custom, began Shalom Aleichem with feeling and sweetness.
Eishes Chayil: the Rebbe's grandson, the bochur Yissachar Ber Tov, son of the Rav of the beis medrash, HaGaon Rabbi Baruch Moshe shlit"a. Lifting of the cup: R' Yaakov Eliezer Wertzberger.

The Rebbe shlit"a honored people with the zemiros. Kol Mekadesh: R' Avrohom Simcha Friedman. Menucha V'Simcha: R' Pinchas Katz (of Boro Park).

The Rebbe shlit"a said Torah on the verse "And the earth opened its mouth," and explained it in the manner of a drasha on the sugya of one who sanctifies (a woman) with a loan.

Kah Echsof: HaRav Chaim Meisels shlit"a, son of the Av Beis Din of Montreal shlit"a. Birkas Hamazon: the Rebbe's grandson HaRav Avrohom Yehoshua Heschel Rokeach shlit"a, son-in-law of the Av Beis Din of Sighet shlit"a.

Stories and anecdotes: This week the Rebbe shlit"a related stories about the Baruch Taam zy"a, whose yahrzeit falls on Thursday, 7 Tammuz.

Kah Ribon Olam: R' Yoel Chaira (Argentina). The new chasanim went over to take fruit. Az Beyom HaShevi'i: the Rebbe's grandson HaRav Yisroel Dushinsky shlit"a (of Boro Park).
They finished at around 1:50.

On Shabbos Day

On Shabbos morning, the Rebbe entered the beis medrash at around 9:40. Birchos Hashachar: R' Akiva Weinstock. Pesukei D'Zimra: R' Yoel, son of R' Meir, Falkowitz. The Rebbe approached the amud for Shacharis.

- Hotzaah and Hachnasah (taking out and returning the Torah): R' Moshe Yaakov Aharon Lowy.
- Pesukei Shema Yisroel: HaGaon R' Yosef Hersh Sofer shlit"a, moreh tzedek.

Aliyos:
- Kohen: Rabbi Levi Yitzchak Barzewsky shlit"a.
- Levi: the chasan Yissachar Ber, son of Rabbi Yosef Dovid Lowy shlit"a — he was showered with candy.

For Mincha and Seudah Shlishis, the Rebbe entered the beis medrash at around 9:05.
- Mincha: R' Meir Naftali Pearl (of Williamsburg).
- Hotzaah and Hachnasah: R' Pinchas Shlomo Perlmutter (of Williamsburg).
- Kohen: Rabbi Shmuel Moshe Friedman shlit"a.
- Levi: Rabbi Yosef Dovid Lowy shlit"a.
- Shlishi: HaRav Chaim Meisels shlit"a.

At Seudah Shlishis, the Rebbe honored people with the zemiros. Odeh: R' Noach Gefen. Shir HaMaalos: R' Moshe Falkowitz.

The Rebbe shlit"a said Torah on the verse "Do not turn to their offering," and explained that in order to do teshuva properly, one must cling to Yaakov Avinu in order to repair what one has damaged in the upper worlds. Now, in the summer weeks, one must keep in mind that the days of teshuva, Elul and Tishrei, are coming, and "the wise man has his eyes in his head" — not to cause any damage in the upper worlds.

Yedid Nefesh: R' Chaim Friedman (of Williamsburg). Kel Mistatter: R' Yosef Klein (of Williamsburg). The Rebbe recited the blessing over the cup.

Maariv for Motzei Shabbos: R' Shaul Leib Zaldan. After Havdalah, the congregation went over to wish a gutte voch. They finished at around 11:20.

Friday, Parshas Korach, Rosh Chodesh Tammuz — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Rebbe davened Shacharis at the Yeshiva Ketana Divrei Chaim branch, under the leadership of R' Shlomo Elimelech Stein shlit"a. Before davening, the Rebbe put on tefillin for the bar mitzvah bochurim.
- The bochur Aharon Hakohen Glanzer.
- R' Moshe Yitzchak Bernstein shlit"a.
- The bochur Shabsai Karpen.

The Rebbe approached for Hallel, and during the Torah reading was called up as the fourth aliyah.
After davening, a lechayim gathering took place in the beis medrash hall. Several nigunim were sung, and the Rebbe drank lechayim and wished the bar mitzvah bochurim, the rebbeim and the yeshiva's students well. The Rebbe also delivered a few words of Torah, saying that we are already standing in the month of Tammuz and must already prepare for the Yamim Noraim, which are coming upon us for good, and connected this with the yeshiva's learning, concluding with his holy blessing.
