- the bochur Avrohom Chaim Heiman.
- the bochur Aryeh Spitzer.

After davening, the Rebbe learned the daily Tehillim shiur, on chapter 28, verse 9.
A few minutes later, the Rebbe returned to the beis medrash for a large lechayim gathering in honor of the kishur hachisuun (engagement) of the Rebbe's grandson, the chosson HaRav Chaim Hersh Rokeach shlit"a, one of the outstanding talmidim of the yeshiva, son of the chosson's father-in-law-to-be, the Gaon, rav of the Beis Chaim Yaakov beis medrash shlit"a. Joyous songs were sung, and the Rebbe drank lechayim and gave blessings to the chosson, the mechutanim, the bar mitzvah bochurim, and the rebbeim and talmidim of the yeshiva.
The mechutanim spoke: the Gaon, rav of the Beis Chaim Yaakov beis medrash shlit"a, and HaRav R' Shraga Feivel Singer shlit"a, rav of the Tiferes Shmuel Alexander beis medrash in Williamsburg.
The Rebbe delivered words of Torah and noted that at a shidduch one says "mazel tov," and "tov" (טוב) has the gematria of 17, the same as the name Ahavah (אהו"ה), which comes from the verse "Va'avo hayom el ha'ayin," and is the name associated with kefitzas haderech (the miraculous shortening of the way). At a shidduch one needs kefitzas haderech. He blessed all the bochurim that they should quickly become chassanim, and concluded with abundant blessings.
Afterwards the chosson recited the pshetl and it was sung in as is customary, and the Rebbe stood up and danced for an extended time. It ended at around 1:00.

Around 2:00, the Rebbe arrived at the Talmud Torah building, "Binyan Klein," where the "Start of Learning Mishnayos" event took place with over 500 third-grade talmidim from all four branches of Mosdos Kiryas Yoel.
The children sang several songs and rhymes in honor of the occasion, led by the principals Rabbi Yechiel Yitzchok Spitzer shlit"a, Rabbi Yoshe Zalman Wertzberger shlit"a, Rabbi Fishel Kaufman shlit"a, and Rabbi Yoel Halpert shlit"a.

A pleasant conversation in Torah took place with the Gaon HaGadol, the dayan shlit"a. The Rebbe drank lechayim and gave blessings to the dayan shlit"a, to his son HaRav, the dayan of the beis medrash shlit"a, to the chosson and the mechutanim, and to all the members of the beis medrash. He then delivered words of Torah praising the residents of the neighborhood and the members of the beis medrash and urged each individual to take responsibility to ensure that the beis medrash remains an honest chassidish beis medrash, on Shabbos and during the week, as befits a Satmar beis medrash, and concluded with his holy blessing.
Then the Rebbe stood up and danced together with the entire assembly at the head, and then separately with the chosson, and then in a longer, friendly dance with the Gaon HaGadol, the dayan shlit"a. The Rebbe left the beis medrash around 7:10.

- R' Chaim Yaakov Glauber and R' Eliyahu Meir Traeger, in the Ginas Klein halls.
