Monday, Parshas Vayikra — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Rebbe davened Shacharis in the Yeshiva Gedolah, Divrei Yoel branch. During the Torah reading, the Rebbe received the third aliyah. After davening, the Rebbe delivered the daily Tehillim shiur on chapter 29, verse 3.

After Shacharis the Rebbe went over to the beis medrash in the Ariel building, Amsterdam, where a bris was held for a newborn son of R' Benzion Levy, and the Rebbe served as sandek. After the bris, the Rebbe drank a lechayim and offered blessings to the father and his family.

At around 1:45 the Rebbe arrived at Heichal HaMesivta, Kedushas Yoel branch, where the Rebbe delivered the sixth shiur in the series on the sugya of mitzvos aseh shehazman gerama, as a preparation for the Shabbos HaGadol derashah. It concluded at around 2:45.

At around 7:00 the Rebbe davened Mincha in the Rebbe's holy home on Zanz St., Kiryas Joel.

At around 8:30 the Rebbe went over to the halls of Keren V'Yoel Moshe, where the annual assembly of the Chevra Kadisha of our holy kehilla was held. A fine conversation took place with HaGaon HaGadol, the Av Beis Din shlit"a, and the rabbonim shlit"a in attendance. In addition, the dayan shlit"a, who had just returned from Antwerp, conveyed to the Rebbe warm greetings from the Przeworsk Rebbe shlit"a and from our holy kehilla in Antwerp, where the dayan shlit"a had been for Shabbos Parshas HaChodesh.
The Rebbe drank a lechayim and offered blessings to the entire gathering, and spoke words of Torah about the importance of the work of the Chevra Kadisha, and urged everyone to ask and to conduct themselves in all details in accordance with the directives of the esteemed rabbonim of the Chevra Kadisha, headed by HaGaon HaGadol, the Av Beis Din shlit"a, and concluded with the Rebbe's holy blessing.

Reception hours in Kiryas Joel were from 8:45 until 12:15 at night in the Rebbe's holy home on Uhel St., Kiryas Joel.

At around 10:15 the Rebbe went down to the halls in the Rebbe's holy home, where the Rebbe read the tenaim of the mechutanim.

Sunday, Parshas Vayikra — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Rebbe davened Shacharis in the Beis Medrash HaGadol. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim.
- The son of HaRav R' Meir Yaakov Moskowitz z"l.
- The bochur Zev Friedman.
- The bochur Yissachar Dov Bickel.
After davening, a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochurim in the Rebbe's private room.

At around 1:40 the Rebbe arrived at Heichal HaMesivta, Kedushas Yoel branch, where the Rebbe delivered the fifth shiur in the series on the sugya of mitzvos aseh shehazman gerama, as a preparation for the Shabbos HaGadol derashah. It concluded at around 2:45.

At around 6:45 the Rebbe davened Mincha in the Rebbe's holy home on Zanz St., Kiryas Joel.

Shabbos Kodesh, Parshas Vayakhel-Pekudei, Shabbos HaChodesh, Mevarchim Chodesh Nissan — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

Before candle-lighting time, the Rebbe put the shtreimel on the chassanim:
- The chassan Yechiel Shlomo, son of R' Moshe Chaim Friedman.
- The chassan Mordechai, son of R' Yechezkel Shraga Glantz.

Friday night at around 7:35 the Rebbe entered the beis medrash wrapped in his tallis and approached the amud for Mincha. Kabbalas Shabbos: Rabbi Meir Moshe Moskowitz shlit"a. They finished at around 9:15. The congregation went over to wish a good Shabbos, and the Rebbe went home to his holy residence.

At around 10:05 the Rebbe entered the tish in the Heichal HaMesivta together with the talmidei hayeshiva, and began, as is his holy custom, with Shalom Aleichem with emotion and sweetness.

The Rebbe said Torah on the reading of Parshas HaChodesh, "Rishon hu lachem l'chodshei hashana," and explained the importance and power of a Jew's speech, and how careful one must be to use it only for good things and not, chas v'shalom, to speak falsehood and the like. This is a preparation for Yom Tov Pesach, when we prepare to fulfill the mitzvah of telling the story of the Exodus with the mouth, and likewise the mitzvah of eating matzah; therefore one must be very careful to keep the mouth clean.

After Havdalah the congregation went over to wish a good week.
They finished at around 9:55.

At around 11:45 the Rebbe went to affix a mezuzah at the new offices of the RCCS organization in the Business Center. The Rebbe affixed a mezuzah on the main entrance, then went inside to look around the offices and heard a report from the management.
A lechayim gathering followed, at which R' Hershel Kohn, founder and director of the organization, spoke.
The Rebbe then delivered divrei kodesh with strong words of chizuk to the askanim who devote themselves to the many ill Jews in all the offices around the world, emphasizing that our work is to do as much as we can, and Hakadosh Baruch Hu will help that we succeed in healing the ill, and concluded with abundant blessings for the founder, R' Hershel, and all those engaged in the holy work.
The Rebbe then drank lechayim and bestowed of his holy blessing.

Afterwards, at around 12:15, the Rebbe arrived at the home of Mrs. Rispler, widow of R' Meir Zelig a"h, for a lechayim gathering on the occasion of the wedding of her granddaughter to the chassan, son of her son, the distinguished philanthropist R' Yerucham Fishel Chaim. A pleasant conversation ensued about the old-time custom of eating days with balabatim in the old country, as well as about the new takanos so that the wedding should be at Gan Esther, which the distinguished family built for its name and glory, and from strength to strength, the new simcha should be for smaller simchas in the building of Beis Rachel, the new Rispler building that is being built, the third Rispler building within the fortress of Beis Rachel in Williamsburg, and about the difficult problem of housing everywhere and especially in Williamsburg.
The Rebbe drank lechayim and warmly wished the chassan, mechutanim, grandfathers, and the whole family well; on the way out the Rebbe wished extra blessings to the kallah and to Mrs. Rispler.

From there, at around 12:45, the Rebbe went to affix a mezuzah at the newly renovated 'Drive Goods' store in Kiryas Joel. The Rebbe affixed a mezuzah on the main entrance, then went inside and looked around the entire store, including the 'Levushei Kavod' department, and heard a report from the owner, R' Yoel Eliyahu Schwartz, and from R' Shlomo Zalman Weiss, administrator of the holy mosdos, about the tremendous success of the tznius clothing among the talmidos of Beis Rachel.
A lechayim gathering followed, with a pleasant conversation. The Rebbe drank lechayim and wished the owner, R' Yoel Eliyahu, the store's employees, and the entire public well.

Thursday, Parshas Vayikra — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

This morning a bris for a newborn son took place at the home of R' Yeshaya Ber Levi, where the Rebbe served as sandek.

The Rebbe davened Shacharis in Yeshiva Gedolah, Beirach Moshe branch. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim.
- The bochur Moshe Efraim Fishel Teitelbaum.
- The bochur Levi Yitzchak Gestetner.

During the Torah reading, the Rebbe went up for Hagbah, and after davening he recited the daily Tehillim shiur, on chapter 29, verse 4. Afterwards, a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochurim in the Rebbe's private room.

At around 1:40, the Rebbe arrived at Heichal HaMesivta, Kedushas Yoel branch, where the Rebbe delivered the fourth sugya shiur, on the sugya of positive time-bound mitzvos, as preparation for the Shabbos HaGadol derasha. It concluded at around 2:30.

Afterwards, the Rebbe went over to the adjacent yeshiva building, where the bochurim were engaged in grinding wheat for Pesach, b'ezras Hashem. Songs of inspiration were sung, and then the Rebbe personally exerted himself physically in the work for an extended time and ground wheat for the mitzvah of matzah, in the presence of a large crowd. Afterwards, the singing continued with joyous songs. It concluded at around 2:50.

At around 6:15, the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy residence on Zanz Court.

The time for receiving visitors in Kiryas Joel was from 8:30 until 12:30 at night, at his holy residence on Ohel Court.

At around 10:30, the Rebbe went down to the halls of his holy residence, where the Rebbe read the tena'im of the mechutanim:
R' Yaakov Yosef Hoffman and R' Chaim Eliyahu Felberbaum.
R' Yoel Sofer and R' Yoel Eckstein.

During the visitors' hours in Kiryas Joel, a lechayim celebration took place on the occasion of the start of the writing of a Sefer Torah, which is being written by R' Avrohom Leib Felberbaum and his family. The Rebbe drank lechayim, bestowed his holy blessing, and spoke about the importance of the mitzvah of writing a Sefer Torah.

The Rebbe davened Maariv at around 12:30.

Wednesday, Parshas Vayikra 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Rebbe davened Shacharis in Yeshiva Gedolah, the Yoel Moshe branch. After davening, the Rebbe studied the daily Tehillim shiur, on chapter 29, verse 4.

At around 1:40 the Rebbe arrived at the Heichal HaMesivta, Kedushas Yoel branch, where the Rebbe delivered the third sugya shiur on the topic of time-bound positive commandments, as preparation for the Shabbos HaGadol derasha. It concluded at around 2:45.

At around 6:15 the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy residence on Zanz Street, Kiryas Joel.

In the evening the Rebbe officiated at kiddushin at the chuppah of the mechutanim:
- HaRav Rabbi Meir Moshe Moskowitz shlit"a and R' Yisroel Brosh Schwartz, in the halls of Kinor David.
- R' Yehuda Treitel Frankel and R' Yerucham Sperber, in the halls of Beis Rochel Paradise.
- R' Fishel Rispler and R' Binyamin Ari Leibush Hirsch, in the halls of Ginas Klein.

Yechidus hours were from 8:20 until 12:30 at night in the Rebbe's holy residence on Uhel Street, Kiryas Joel.

During the yechidus hours, board members of the RCCS organization entered to receive the Rebbe's blessing on the occasion of the opening of a new office in Kiryas Joel. A pleasant conversation took place about the organization's many activities on behalf of the many ill among Klal Yisroel, rachmana litzlan, and the Rebbe warmly wished success to R' Hershel Kohn, founder and director of the institution, and to all the board members.

At around 10:20 the Rebbe went down to the halls in his holy residence, where the Rebbe read the tenaim of the mechutanim:
- HaRav Rabbi Mendel Weiss shlit"a and R' Shlomo Yaakov Neustadt.
- R' Chaim Berish Spielman and R' Moshe Yaakov Wertzberger.

The Rebbe davened Maariv at around 11:15 and afterwards continued receiving the public.

Tuesday, Parshas Vayeira, 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Rebbe davened Shacharis in Yeshiva Gedolah, Branch Eitz Chaim, Shiur Gimmel. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim:
- the son of Rabbi Yitzchak Eizik Kahana
- the bochur Moshe Seruga
- the bochur Yoel Klein
Afterwards, the Rebbe lit candles in honor of the holy hilula of the holy Rebbe R' Elimelech of Lizhensk zy"a.

Before Kaddish, the Rebbe recited the Tefilla Kodem HaTefilla of the holy Rebbe R' Elimelech zy"a, weeping profusely for an extended time.

After davening, the Rebbe led the daily Tehillim shiur, on chapter 29, verse 4. Afterwards, a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochurim in the hall of the beis medrash.

At around 1:45, the Rebbe arrived at the hall of the Mesivta, Branch Kedushas Yoel, where the Rebbe delivered the second shiur on the topic of mitzvos asei shehazman grama, as a preparation for the Shabbos HaGadol derasha. It concluded at around 2:40.

Afterwards, the Rebbe went on his weekly visit to the glatt kosher slaughterhouse.

At around 6:10, the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy home. Before Mincha, the Rebbe lit candles in honor of the holy hilula of the holy Rebbe R' Elimelech zy"a.

In the evening, the Rebbe traveled to Williamsburg for the weekly reception hours.
Upon arriving in Williamsburg at around 8:00, the Rebbe went to a mezuzah affixing at the new location of 'Heritage Silver' in the W Mall, owned by R' Avrohom Yoshe Glantz and R' Wolf Mendlowitz. The Rebbe affixed a mezuzah on the main entrance, then went inside and looked around the entire store.
The Rebbe drank a lechayim and offered blessings to the owners of the business, to the distinguished philanthropist R' Avrohom Yuda Mandel, owner of the mall, and to all those present.

The reception hours in Williamsburg took place from 8:30 until 12:30 at night in the Rebbe's holy home on Hewes St.

During the reception hours, a lechayim celebration took place in honor of the wedding of the chosson, the son of HaGaon Rabbi Naftali Hirtzka Zwibel shlit"a, Rosh HaKahal, to the kallah, the daughter of Rabbi Shmuel Dovid Horowitz shlit"a. A pleasant conversation ensued, and the Rebbe wished the chosson and the mechutanim well.

The Rebbe davened Maariv at around 11:00, and then continued receiving the public.

After the reception hours, at around 12:40, the Rebbe went to the home of HaGaon Rabbi Meir Halberstam shlit"a, Rav of the Kossov beis medrash and a moreh tzedek in our holy Williamsburg kehilla, for a lechayim celebration in honor of the wedding of his daughter, mazel tov. The chosson is the son of HaGaon Rabbi Aharon Yekusiel Friedman shlit"a, member of the Beis Din of Kiryas Joel.
A pleasant conversation took place about stories of tzaddikim of the house of Sanz. The Rebbe drank a lechayim and shared from his holy blessing. Afterwards, at around 1:10, the Rebbe traveled home to Kiryas Joel.
