Thursday, 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

This morning a bris took place for a newborn son of R' Moshe Neta Perl, at which the Rebbe served as sandek.

The Rebbe davened Shacharis in Beis Medrash Avnei Tzedek on the occasion of the simcha of the bris milah of his grandson, the newborn son of Rabbi Elchanan Chaim Meisels shlit"a.
Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim:
- The bochur Elazar Elimelech Forgacs.
- The bochur Dovid Bickel.
During the Torah reading, the Rebbe was called up as Shlishi.

After davening, the simcha of the bris milah took place in the hall of the beis medrash.
The Satmar Rebbe shlit"a was honored with sandek honors.
- Mohel: the grandfather, HaGaon Rabbi Hershel shlit"a.
- Sandek standing: the grandfather, the Rav of Beis Medrash Avnei Tzedek, HaGaon shlit"a.
The Rebbe shlit"a recited the brachos and the naming, "and his name shall be called in Israel": 'Ari Leibush', after the grandfather, HaGaon Rabbi Ari Leibush Teitelbaum zt"l, Rav of the beis medrash and of Kiryas Yoel Moshe.
After the bris, the entire congregation went over to wish the Rebbe shlit"a mazel tov.
Afterwards a lechayim took place with the bar mitzvah bochurim in the hall of the beis medrash.
A few minutes later the seudas bris took place in the hall of the beis medrash. At the seudah, the baal simcha shlit"a spoke, as did the grandfathers, the Rav of Beis Medrash Avnei Tzedek shlit"a, and HaGaon Rabbi Hershel shlit"a.
The Rebbe honored Rabbi Chaim Meisels shlit"a, son of the Av Beis Din of Montreal shlit"a, with the "Yom Libeshah" (Psalm 66).
The Rebbe delivered holy words on the subject of bris milah, and blessed the baal simcha shlit"a, the esteemed grandfathers, and the entire congregation.
For bentching, the Rebbe honored the grandfather, the mohel, HaGaon Rabbi Hershel shlit"a, and the family members were given the Harachaman honors. The seudah concluded at around 2:00.

In the afternoon hours, members of the committee for publishing the Rebbe's sefarim entered the Rebbe's room, bringing the new sefer Lev Aharon – Derushim for Yom Tov Pesach, which came out of print today. The Rebbe received it with great joy, held a lechayim gathering, and warmly blessed the members of the committee for publishing the Rebbe's sefarim.

At around 7:10 the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy home on Zanz Street.

Reception hours in the Rebbe's room were from 8:45 until 11:30 at night, in his holy home on Ohel Street.

The Rebbe davened Maariv at around 10:40.
After Maariv, the Rebbe entered the halls of his holy home, where the Rebbe read the tenaim of the mechutanim, R' Binyamin Zev Stein and R' Yitzchak Michael Grad.
The Rebbe then continued with the reception hours.

Wednesday, Parshas Tzav — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

In the morning, a bris for a newborn son took place by R' Eliezer Meir Samet, where the Rebbe served as sandek and mohel.

The Rebbe davened Shacharis in the Yeshiva Ketana branch of Kedushas Yom Tov, under the leadership of HaRav R' Shmuel Meir Levy shlit"a. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim:
- the bochur Michoel Eliyahu Gavriel Egami.
- the bochur Shneur Zalman Hecht.
- the bochur Moshe Malach.
The Rebbe lit candles and went to the amud in honor of the yahrzeit of the Bobbe, the Rebbetzin Chana a"h, wife of the Chaver of Maran HaGaon HaKadosh, the Baal Kedushas Yom Tov zy"a.

After davening, a lechayim gathering took place in the Heichal of the beis medrash. Several nigunim were sung, and the Rebbe drank lechayim and wished the bar mitzvah bochurim, the rebbeim and the talmidei hayeshiva well. He delivered divrei Torah and repeated in the name of the holy Yitav Lev zy"a that rising before dawn is a form of mesiras nefesh. He praised the talmidei hayeshiva, saying that sitting and learning in yeshiva until the 7th of Nisan is also mesiras nefesh. The Rebbe then continued by asking the bochurim several questions from their yeshiva studies in Maseches Bava Kama, and concluded with his holy blessing.

At around 7:15 the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy home on Zanz Street.
The Rebbe lit candles and went to the amud in honor of the yahrzeit of the Bobbe, the Rebbetzin Chana a"h.

Reception hours were from 8:30 until 11:45 at night in his holy home on Ohel Street.

At around 10:30 the Rebbe went down to the halls in his holy home, where the Rebbe read the tnaim of the mechutanim:
- HaRav HaChasid R' Shmuel Hersh Feldman and HaRav HaChasid R' Yosef Leib Braun.
- HaRav HaChasid R' Yechezkel Frenkel and HaRav HaChasid R' Meir Eli Acker.

The Rebbe davened Maariv at around 10:50 and then continued receiving the public.

After the reception hours, at around 11:50, the Rebbe went over to the Pardes Chaim hall in the Even Tzadik beis medrash for the Vachnacht celebration of his grandson, a newborn son born to HaRav Elchanan Chaim Meisels shlit"a, son of HaRav HaGaon R' Hershel shlit"a, rav of the Beis Nachum Dov beis medrash of our holy kehilla, and son-in-law of the Rebbe's son-in-law, HaGaon HaTzaddik, rav of the Even Tzadik beis medrash, shlit"a, and the grandson of the Av Beis Din of Montreal shlit"a. A pleasant conversation took place, with stories of Sighet. The Rebbe tasted refreshments, fish and kugel, drank lechayim and wished the baal simcha, the grandfathers, the family members and the entire public well.
Afterwards the Rebbe recited Krias Shema and blessed the mothers who had given birth. The Rebbe left the hall at around 12:15.

Tuesday, 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

This morning the following brissim took place:
- For the newborn son of R' Yosef Moshe Stein, where the Rebbe served as sandek and mohel.
- For the newborn son of R' Yoel Brad Rubinstein, where the Rebbe served as sandek.

The Rebbe davened Shacharis in the Beis Medrash HaGadol. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim:
- the bochur Chaim Baruch Diamond.
- the bochur Aharon Bri"a Silberstein.

After davening, a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochurim in the Rebbe's private room.
Afterwards the Rebbe went down to the Heichal HaTorah, the 'Heichal Tzvi and Yitzchak Rosenberg,' where the Rebbe walked among the tables for an extended time and looked over the many learning during bein hazmanim with great nachas.

On the way out, the Rebbe stopped at the "Anash of Kiryas Joel" table, where signatures are gathered every year for politicians and candidates so that they can run for a new term in the coming November elections. The Rebbe reviewed the list of the candidates' names, and the askanim pointed out the names of the candidates who stood out strongly last year at the request of the Rebbe shlit"a to change the Albany laws for the benefit of chinuch, to the joy of the entire chareidi community in New York. The Rebbe wished the askanim success.

Around 6:15 the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy home on Hewes St.

In the evening the Rebbe traveled into Williamsburg for the weekly zmanei kniso (receiving the public).
The Rebbe arrived in Williamsburg and first went to affix a mezuzah at the new 'Mitav' store, which sells products at wholesale prices. The Rebbe looked around the store and in the meantime heard a report from the owners about the many efforts to be able to sell the products at very low prices.

Afterwards a lechayim gathering took place in the store, and a pleasant conversation ensued. The Rebbe drank lechayim and warmly bestowed his holy blessing on the entire public, and delivered words of Torah about the great merit of the chesed done for Jewish children and the tremendous importance of a store that helps hundreds of families buy at low prices. He concluded with his holy blessing for the owners and askanim who brought the new store into being, wishing that it should have great success.
On the way out the Rebbe affixed a mezuzah at the entrance.

The zmanei kniso in the Rebbe's holy home on Hewes St. lasted from 8:50 until 1:15 after midnight.

During the zmanei kniso, members of the board of the holy institution Keren Hatzalah entered for a meeting ahead of the large Pesach distribution to support the Torah institutions of the holy Eida HaChareidis in Eretz Yisroel. A pleasant conversation took place about the work and the large distributions to hundreds of institutions, and the board members praised our holy kehilla, from which the majority of the funds come, and said it is thanks to the Rebbe shlit"a constantly encouraging Anash to support Keren Hatzalah with large sums, which has made it possible to distribute larger amounts at each distribution.
On this occasion the Rebbe gave R' Shlomo Yosef Waldman, chairman of the board, a check for the fantastic sum of one million dollars! The board members expressed their great thanks and said that this is already the second check of one million dollars this year, 5786, that the Rebbe put together from the generous members of our community, following the check of one million dollars the Rebbe gave during the holy trip to Eretz Yisroel last month of Kislev for the Chanukah distribution. The Rebbe bestowed his holy blessing on the entire board.

A group of ninth-grade students from our holy institutions also entered, who had brought in significant sums for the mosdos during the days of Purim. The Rebbe distributed blessed coins and Haggadahs to the bochurim and bestowed his holy blessing.

The Rebbe davened Maariv around 11:00. The Rebbe went to the amud in honor of the yahrzeit of the Rebbetzin Chana a"h, wife of the Chaver of the Kedushas Yom Tov zy"a, and afterwards continued receiving the public.

Monday, 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

This morning a bris took place for a newborn son of R' Dov Ber Halpert, where the Rebbe served as sandek and mohel.

The Rebbe davened Shacharis at the Yeshiva Ketana, Sniff Hashiv Moshe, under the direction of Rabbi Shimon Avrohom Roth shlit"a.
Upon arrival, the Rebbe went straight into the beis medrash and looked in on the learning.
Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim:
- The bochur Moshe Yechezkel Welz.
- The bochur Yitzchak Aharon Holender.

The Rebbe lit candles and went to the amud in honor of the yahrzeit of the Bubbe, the Rebbetzin Bracha Sima a"h, wife of the chaver of the Atzei Chaim zy"a, and during the Torah reading was called up as the third aliyah.

After davening, a group of bochurim entered the Rebbe's private room and brought in larger sums for the benefit of the Kiryas Joel fund.

Afterwards a lechayim gathering took place in the main hall of the beis medrash. Several nigunim were sung, the Rebbe drank lechayim and wished the bar mitzvah bochurim, the rebbeim and the talmidim of the yeshiva well, and shared a Torah thought from the teachings of the holy Ohev Yisroel of Apta zy"a, whose yahrzeit it was, continued with preparation for Yom Tov Pesach, and concluded with his holy blessing.

At around 6:15 the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy home on Zanz Street. The Rebbe lit candles and went to the amud in honor of the yahrzeit of the Bubbe, the Rebbetzin Bracha Sima a"h.

In the evening the Rebbe officiated at the kiddushin at the chuppah of the mechutanim R' Yitzchak Meir Brauer and R' Mattisyahu Deutsch in the Gina Klein halls.

Reception hours in Kiryas Joel were from 8:30 until 1:15 at night at his holy home on Ohel Street.

During reception hours, a delegation of rabbanim and heads of the kashrus organizations under the auspices of the Rabbinical Union entered the Rebbe's presence. A fine conversation took place about the kashrus of foods, especially for Yom Tov Pesach, and various questions that arose recently were discussed. They also presented the Rebbe with the new 'Mafteach HaKashrus' for the upcoming Yom Tov Pesach, and the Rebbe sent them off with his holy blessing.

At around 10:10 the Rebbe went down to the halls in his holy home, where the Rebbe read the tnaim for the mechutanim:
- R' Avrohom Amram Markowitz and R' Moshe Yitzchak Itzkowitz.
- R' Shlomo Neumann and R' Asher Zebel.

The Rebbe davened Maariv at around 12:00.

Sunday, 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

This morning the following brissen took place:
- The son born to R' Kalman Gefen, where the Rebbe served as sandek and mohel.
- The son born to R' Eli Fried, where the Rebbe served as sandek.
- The son born to R' Avrohom Eber Schwartz, where the Rebbe served as sandek.

After the brissen, the Rebbe met with HaGaon Rabbi Asher Eckstein shlit"a, Dayan and Rav of Belz, and a pleasant conversation ensued. During it, HaGaon Rabbi Asher shlit"a presented his new sefer to the Rebbe, and the Rebbe bestowed his holy blessing upon him.

The Rebbe davened Shacharis in the Beis Medrash HaGadol. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim:
- The son of HaRav R' Shmuel Shlomo Teller shlit"a.
- The bochur Shlomo Heimlich.
- The bochur Yeshaya Yitzchak Rubin.

After davening, a bris took place for the son born to R' Yoel Aharon Scheinberger, where the Rebbe served as sandek.
Afterwards, a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochurim in the Rebbe's private room.

After Shacharis, the Rebbe went to the home of HaRav HaChasid R' Avrohom Leib Brach, who is recovering, where a bris took place for the son born to his grandson R' Shmuel Meir Yoel Yazshef, and the Rebbe served as sandek. After the bris, a lechayim celebration was held, at which the Rebbe wished the baal habris and his family well.

During the morning hours, the Rebbe visited the matzah bakery of our holy kehilla, where the Rebbe looked over, for an extended time, the matzos that were baked for the family and for use at the Rebbe's Seder table, together with the hundreds of chasanim, may they live.

Afterwards, the Rebbe went on his weekly visit to the glatt kosher slaughterhouse.

At around 6:15, the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy home on Dikman Street.

In the evening, the Rebbe officiated at kiddushin at the chuppah of the mechutanim:

Shabbos Kodesh, Parshas Vayikra — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

For this Shabbos, the talmidim of Yeshiva Ketana, Branch Veyoel Moshe of Boro Park, under the direction of Rabbi Yitzchak Aharon Green shlit"a, were chosen for "B'tzeil HaKodesh."

On Friday night at around 7:45, the Rebbe entered the beis medrash wrapped in his tallis and approached the amud for Mincha.
After Mincha, Rabbi Eliyahu Shlomo Kahn shlit"a, director of Beis Rochel, addressed the gathering on behalf of the 'B'yomo Titen S'charo' campaign of our holy mosdos.
Kabbalas Shabbos: Rabbi Aharon Weber shlit"a, rebbi in the Yeshiva Ketana of Boro Park. The davening concluded at around 9:20. After davening, the congregation went over to wish a gut Shabbos, and the Rebbe went home to his holy residence.

At around 10:10 the Rebbe entered the tish in the Heichal HaMesivta together with the talmidim of the Yeshiva Ketana of Boro Park and the talmidim of the Mesivta from Kiryas Joel, and began, in his holy way, with Shalom Aleichem, with feeling and sweetness.
- Eishes Chayil: the grandson of the Rebbe, the bochur Yoel Dushinsky, may he live, son of the Rav of Beis Medrash Ohel Piga shlit"a.
- Hagbahas HaKos: Rabbi Yitzchak Aharon Green shlit"a, director of the yeshiva, was honored.

The Rebbe said Torah on the Midrash "When Yisroel heard the parsha of korbanos they became frightened; Moshe said to them, 'Engage in Torah,'" and explained, in the manner of a derush, the sugya of whether a rov (majority) is a certainty or a doubt.

The Rebbe said Torah on the verse "Vayikra el Moshe," and explained that from the fact that one must bring a chatas offering for an inadvertent sin, we see the gravity of a sin even when done inadvertently, and all the more so a sinful thought done intentionally. However, there is a remedy: to engage in Torah, which protects from forbidden thoughts and sinful ideas. The Rebbe continued with words of preparation toward Yom Tov Pesach, as we prepare to fulfill the mitzvah of "tashbisu se'or mi'bateichem," which alludes to the sins of the heart. Now is therefore the fitting time to increase in Torah learning as preparation for Yom Tov Pesach.

The Rebbe approached the amud for Maariv in honor of the yahrzeits.
After Havdalah, the congregation went over to wish a gutte voch. The davening concluded at around 9:55.

After Havdalah, the talmidim of Shiur Gimmel of the Yeshiva Ketana, Branch Veyoel Moshe of Boro Park, who had been chosen for Shabbos "B'tzeil HaKodesh," entered the Rebbe's holy residence. The Rebbe tested the bochurim on their yeshiva studies, and afterward the bochurim went over to receive a holy blessing.

Thursday, Rosh Chodesh Nissan — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Rebbe davened Shacharis in the Yeshiva Gedolah, Brach Moshe branch. The Rebbe went up for Hallel, and during the Torah reading he was called up as the fourth aliyah (Revi'i).

After davening, the Rebbe delivered the ninth shiur on the topic of positive time-bound mitzvos, as preparation for the Shabbos HaGadol derasha. He then continued with words of preparation toward Yom Tov Pesach, which is coming upon us, IY"H, urging the bochurim to prepare for Yom Tov Pesach by learning Chassidic seforim, so as not to fall into the Seder night unprepared, but rather to understand all the mitzvos of the Yom Tov. He also encouraged them to make use of the bein hazmanim period to review the learning of the winter zman and to conduct themselves with good and upright conduct, as befits a yeshiva student, and to help out at home in honor of Pesach, etc. He concluded with his holy blessing to the chasanim who are now leaving the yeshiva, and to all the yeshiva students.
Afterwards a lechayim gathering took place in honor of the end of the zman. Several songs were sung, and the Rebbe drank lechayim and wished the rebbeim and the yeshiva students well.

In the afternoon hours, HaGaon HaTzaddik Rabbi Yehoshua Katz shlit"a, Av Beis Din of Zagreb, visited the Rebbe at his holy home. A pleasant conversation took place on various questions regarding kashrus, during which the Rabbi shlit"a expressed his admiration for the many chumros and hiddurim in the matzah bakery of our holy kehilla, after baking matzos there today. The Rebbe bestowed upon him from his holy blessing.

Also entering the Rebbe's room were students of Yeshiva Ketana Bobov 45 of Boro Park, together with HaRav Rabbi Asher Menachem Eichenstein shlit"a, son-in-law of the Bobov 45 Rebbe shlit"a. The Rebbe heard the bochurim being tested on their learning and delivered words of encouragement to learn Torah. Afterwards the bochurim went over to receive the holy blessing, and the Rebbe wished well to HaRav Rabbi Asher Menachem shlit"a. In doing so, the Rebbe spoke in praise of his father-in-law, the Bobov 45 Rebbe shlit"a, who regularly delivers shiurim in his yeshiva, and asked that greetings and a mazel tov blessing be conveyed to his father-in-law, the Bobov 45 Rebbe shlit"a, on the occasion of the weddings of his grandchildren, mazel tov.

Around 6:15 the Rebbe davened Mincha at his holy home on Zanz Street.

In the evening the Rebbe officiated at the kiddushin at the chuppah of the mechutanim:
- R' Yechezkel Shraga Glantz and R' Lipa Schonbrun in the halls of Kinor David.
- R' Yoel Berish Yakobovitch and R' Shneur Zalman Greenfeld in the halls of Ginat Klein.

After the chuppah at the Kinor David hall, the Rebbe went to Beis Medrash Beis Mordechai of our holy kehilla for the affixing of a mezuzah, on the occasion of the splendid completion of the renovation of the mikvah and the rooms for davening. The Rebbe affixed a mezuzah and then looked around the entire beis medrash and the mikvah. Afterwards he bestowed his holy blessing upon HaGaon Rabbi Shalom Moshe Lipschitz shlit"a, dayan and moreh tzedek of the beis medrash, and upon the members of the administration and the mispallelim of the beis medrash.

Entry times at the Rebbe's holy home on Ohel Street were from 9:00 until 12:45 at night.

During the entry times, members of the committee of the Keren Melamdim of our holy mosdos entered the Rebbe's room. They distribute the enormous sum of ten thousand dollars to each melamed of our holy mosdos, wherever they are, at the time of their children's weddings.
R' Aharon Hersh Mittelman, chairman of the fund, gave the Rebbe a report on the activities of the Keren Melamdim, which has already distributed the fantastic sum of over six million dollars during the past eight years that the fund has existed. In addition, the Rebbe appointed R' Leib, son of Shaul Yechezkel Goldberger, of Kiryas Joel, to serve as a member of the fund's administration, to stand alongside the current administration. The Rebbe warmly wished well to R' Leib, to R' Aharon Hersh, and to the other members of the administration, Rabbi Baruch Shlomo Weinberger shlit"a, head of the administrators of Kiryas Joel, and R' Dovid Yosha Hirsch.

Around 10:30 the Rebbe went down to the halls at his holy home, where the Rebbe read the tenaim of the mechutanim:
- Rabbi Naftali Hirtzka Friedman shlit"a, son-in-law of R' Friedman, and Rabbi Asher Anshil Karpen shlit"a.
- R' Shraga Chaim Feder and R' Yoel Berish Brach.

The Rebbe davened Maariv around 12:45.

Wednesday, Parshas Vayikra — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

In the morning, the brissin took place:
- For the newborn son of R' Yoel Kaufman, the shamash, where the Rebbe served as sandek and mohel.
- For the newborn son of R' Simcha Lichtenstein, where the Rebbe served as sandek and mohel.

The Rebbe davened Shacharis in Yeshiva Gedolah, Vayoel Moshe branch. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochur Efraim Hecht.

After davening, the Rebbe delivered the daily Tehillim shiur on chapter 29, verse 3. Afterwards, a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochur in the Rebbe's private room.

At around 1:45, the Rebbe arrived at the hall of the Misivta, Divrei Yoel branch, where the Rebbe delivered the eighth shiur on the topic of mitzvos aseh shehazman gerama as preparation for the Shabbos HaGadol derasha. It concluded at around 2:35.

At around 6:15, the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy home on Zanz St.

In the evening, the Rebbe officiated at the kiddushin at the chuppah of the mechutanim:
- R' Daniel Yonason Ejmi and R' Yoel Massri, in the halls of Kinor David.
- R' Yisroel Chaim Weiser and R' Shraga Stroh, in the halls of Beis Rochel Paradise.
- R' Avrohom Green and R' Yoel Meisels, in the halls of Ginas Klein.

The reception hours were from 8:15 until 12:15 after midnight in his holy home on Uhel St.

During the reception hours, HaGaon HaGadol, the Av Beis Din shlit"a, came in and conveyed a warm greeting to the Rebbe shlit"a from our holy kehilla in Antwerp, after staying there this past Shabbos.

At around 10:50, the Rebbe went down to the halls in his holy home, where the Rebbe read the tenaim of the mechutanim:
- R' Avrohom Moshe Lebovitch and R' Naftali Markowitz.
- R' Yaakov Yehoshua Kohn and R' Meshulam Shimon Friedman.

The Rebbe davened Maariv at around 12:15.

Tuesday, Parshas Vayikra — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

In the morning, a bris took place for the newborn son of R' Moshe Yehuda Spitzer, where the Rebbe served as sandek and mohel.

The Rebbe davened Shacharis in Beis Medrash Imrei Noam in the Divrei Yoel neighborhood together with the talmidim of Yeshiva Gedolah, Eisek HaTorah branch of Monsey, under the direction of HaRav R' Yisroel Mordechai Seidenfeld shlit"a. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim:
- The bochur Shimon Yisroel Englander.
- The bochur Pinchas Eidelis.
- The bochur Yoel Broda.

After davening, a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochurim in the Rebbe's private room.
Afterwards, the Rebbe returned to the main hall of the beis medrash, where the Rebbe delivered a shiur on the topic of mitzvos aseh shehazman gerama, and concluded with his holy blessing in honor of the siyum of the zman.

At around 1:50, the Rebbe arrived at the hall of the Misivta, Kedushas Yoel branch, where the Rebbe delivered the seventh shiur on the topic of mitzvos aseh shehazman gerama as preparation for the Shabbos HaGadol derasha. It concluded at around 2:30.

At around 6:15, the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy home on Zanz St.

In the evening, the Rebbe traveled to Williamsburg for the weekly reception hours.
Upon arriving in Williamsburg, the Rebbe went to comfort the mourners of the family of R' Yoel Dana a"h.

The reception hours were from 8:30 until 1:40 after midnight in his holy home on Hewes St.

During the reception hours, the letters were inscribed in a Sefer Torah being written by R' Aharon Moshe Schlager, which will be placed in Florida. The Rebbe wrote in several letters, drank a lechayim, and bestowed his holy blessing.

Also, several board members and askanim of Yesod Lev institutions in Eretz Yisroel came in, where various plans currently under discussion to help the holy institutions, which are in a very large deficit, were discussed. The Rebbe shlit"a urged that every effort be made to send a large sum of money — beyond the monthly support from the office — even before Yom Tov, so that the kollel stipends throughout Eretz Yisroel can be paid, and bestowed his holy blessing on the upcoming broad plans to establish a foundation for the holy institutions.

The Rebbe davened Maariv at around 11:45 and then continued receiving the public.
