Monday, Parshas Shemini, 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Rebbe davened Shacharis in the Talmud Torah Building Klein together with the students of grades 6, 7 and 8 of the branch of HaRav R' Yoel Wertzberger shlit"a. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim.
- The bochur Yehuda Hersh Fish.
- The bochur Yoel Ganz.
- The bochur Chaim Yehuda Weiss.
- The bochur Chaim Mendel Friedman.
During the Torah reading, the Rebbe went up for hagbah.

After davening, a lechayim gathering took place in the hall of the beis medrash. Several nigunim and rhymes were sung, and the Rebbe drank lechayim and wished the bar mitzvah bochurim, rebbeim and children well. He then delivered holy words of preparation for Yom Tov Pesach and concluded with his holy blessing.

Afterwards, the Rebbe went down to the other floor where the library, specially prepared for the rebbeim with all the sefarim they can use for the benefit of the children, is located. The Rebbe looked over all the sefarim for an extended time, accompanied by HaRav R' Baruch Shlomo Weinberger shlit"a, head of the administrators. Afterwards, the Rebbe entered one of the classrooms and observed the learning.

Around 7:30 the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy home on Zanz Court.

Yechidus hours were held from 9:00 until 12:15 at night in his holy home on Ohel Court.

The Rebbe davened Maariv around 12:15.

Sunday, Parshas Shemini, 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

This morning a bris took place for the newborn son of R' Shlomo Wiesel, where the Rebbe served as sandek and mohel.

The Rebbe davened Shacharis in the Beis Medrash HaGadol. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim.
- The son of HaGaon R' Yoel Gelb shlit"a - a moreh tzedek in our holy kehilla of Monsey.
- The bochur Avigdor, son of R' Meir Kahana.
- The bochur Yoel, son of R' Yisroel Parkash.
The Rebbe recited Parshas Zachor, verse by verse.

After davening, a bris took place for the newborn son of R' Shmuel Shaul Mittelman (of Williamsburg), where the Rebbe served as sandek and mohel.
Afterwards, a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochurim and the baal bris in the hall of the beis medrash.

In the morning hours, the Rebbe went on his weekly visit to the mehudar slaughterhouse.
Afterwards, the Rebbe went to affix a mezuzah in the new home of HaRav R' Simcha Yisroel Epfel. The Rebbe affixed the mezuzah and bestowed his holy blessing.
Afterwards, the Rebbe looked over the adjacent lot where 300 new apartments will soon be built by the distinguished philanthropist R' Yechezkel Brach and sons. He also heard a report from the askan R' Moshe Yosef Friedlander about the permits that were just received, enabling them to jump into the building project for hundreds of apartments in the heart of town, which will be sold according to the Rebbe's guidelines for $300 per square foot. The Rebbe warmly thanked R' Moshe Yosef for bringing the project to fruition.

Around 7:20 the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy home on Zanz Court.

Yechidus hours were held from 9:00 until 12:30 at night in his holy home on Ohel Court.

During the yechidus hours, members of the administration of Mivtzar HaKollelim Kiryas Joel entered and delivered a report on the first distribution, in which the kollel administration distributed a large sum of $2,500 to every kollel member who has been learning in the kollel for ten years or more. The Rebbe went over the lists for an extended time and bestowed his holy blessing upon the members of the kollel administration.

Also visiting was HaGaon Rabbi Yisroel Meir Sachs shlit"a, rosh yeshiva of Yeshivas Chofetz Chaim Monsey, a grandson of the holy Chofetz Chaim zt"l. A lengthy conversation in Torah matters ensued, and the Rebbe bestowed his holy blessing upon him.

The Rebbe davened Maariv around 11:30 and then continued receiving the public.

Shabbos Kodesh Parshas Tzav – Shabbos HaGadol 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a in the midst of our holy kehilla in Williamsburg

On Friday night at around 7:50 the Rebbe entered the beis medrash wrapped in his tallis and went up to daven Mincha. Kabbalas Shabbos: HaRav HaChassid R' Chaim Heller. They finished at around 9:30. The tzibbur went over to wish a gut Shabbos, and the Rebbe went home to his holy residence next to the Beis Medrash HaGadol.

At around 10:10 the Rebbe came to the tish in the heichal haTorah together with the talmidim of the Yeshiva L'Tze'irim of Williamsburg.

The Rebbe shlit"a honored people with the zemiros.

The Rebbe said Torah on the Midrash "The students of Rabbi Yose ben Kisma asked him: When will the son of Dovid come? He answered: 'This is the law of the olah offering,'" and explained it in the manner of a derush, in the sugya of whether one expounds semuchin.

On Shabbos morning the Rebbe entered the beis medrash at around 9:35.

Afterwards the Nasi was read as is customary. They finished at around 12:45.

At the Shabbos day seudah in his holy residence, "Kindel" and "Nant" were sung as is customary on Shabbos HaGadol, and for bentching the Rebbe honored from the Shabbos Kodesh the HaRav HaChassid R' Shmuel HaKohen Friedman.

At around 5:50 the Rebbe entered for the Shabbos HaGadol derasha. The Rebbe wrapped himself in the tallis with a bracha, went up to the Aron Kodesh and davened a silent tefillah, and then began the derasha on the verse "This is the law of the olah offering," with a lengthy pilpul in the sugya of "positive time-bound mitzvos," which the Rebbe had learned in yeshiva, and then continued with words of derush and several explanations in the manner of aggada and mussar.
Afterwards the Rebbe spoke words of chizuk regarding matters in need of correction: we must fulfill Torah and mitzvos with effort and not allow ourselves to be swayed by today's comfortable Yiddishkeit. This applies to every mitzvah, to learning Torah, to davening, and likewise to chinuch of children: not to rely only on the mechanchim, but to constantly follow up and stay involved; to buy only proper clothing for the children, especially now that efforts were made so that boys' garments are buttoned from right to left, "the right hand of Hashem is exalted"; to stand guard regarding all women's clothing; extra care regarding hechsherim throughout the year and especially before Pesach, when all kinds of foods with good hechsherim are available, but they are not made for us; we must hold on to the mesorah of our forefathers and not eat all those foods. Regarding impure vessels, even if someone has a heter to use them, that is only for work; how can one not be ashamed to take them out in the beis medrash?
The Rebbe continued speaking about the difficult situation our brethren, the inhabitants of Eretz Yisroel, find themselves in, with no day and no night, constantly having to run to protect themselves from the bombs, which has unfortunately already cost many casualties physically and even more spiritually, rachmana litzlan. Ruach HaKodesh appeared in the beis medrash of the holy Rebbe zy"a, and the Rebbe learned from the holy sefer Al HaGeulah regarding the current situation, and wished that Hakadosh Baruch Hu should help that we be saved both from the murderers and from the "rescuers." The Rebbe continued and spoke out about the decree of drafting yeshiva bochurim in Eretz Yisroel and the decree regarding chinuch in New York, and concluded with words of preparation for Yom Tov Pesach and finished with his holy bracha to the entire tzibbur.
They finished at around 7:25. The Rebbe said Kaddish D'Rabbanan and went into his private room in his holy residence.

The Rebbe entered for Tefillas Mincha at around 7:50.

The Rebbe said Torah on the Midrash "The students of Rabbi Yose ben Kisma asked him: When will the son of Dovid come? He answered: 'This is the law of the olah offering,'" and explained that through the mitzvah of milah, a person becomes attached to Hakadosh Baruch Hu and receives a vitality of kedusha, and consequently is not pushed away from kedusha, and teshuva is effective. He continued with preparation for Yom Tov Pesach and said that the mitzvah of matzah also has this segulah, that it brings a vitality of kedusha to be attached to Hakadosh Baruch Hu and draws down all good blessings.

The Rebbe recited the bracha over the cup.

After Havdalah the tzibbur went over to wish a gutte voch. Then the Rebbe recited Kiddush Levana in front of the Beis Medrash HaGadol and wished "a good week, a good month and a good Yom Tov." They finished at around 10:00.

In his holy residence, the bochurim gabbaim of the "Shluchei Rebbe" campaign, run through the talmidim of the Mesivta for the benefit of the poor of Eretz Yisroel, came in together, before the holy journey to Eretz Yisroel last Cheshvan. The Rebbe distributed a gift, a beautiful matzah bag, to all the gabbaim and wished them his holy bracha.

At around 11:30 the Rebbe paid a shiva call to the family of HaRav HaChassid R' Mordechai Dov Lax a"h, and then traveled home to his holy residence in Kiryas Joel.
On the way home, rabbonim and members of the leadership of our holy kehilla in Yerushalayim, Bnei Brak, and Beit Shemesh connected with the Rebbe shlit"a and thanked him very warmly on behalf of all the chassidim living in Eretz Yisroel for the great support that the Rebbe shlit"a sent, as every year, in honor of Yom Tov Pesach to all the chassidim in Eretz Yisroel, in the fantastic sum of close to one million dollars.
