Friday, Erev Shabbos Parshas Re'eh 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

This morning a bris took place for the newborn son of R' Meir Ber Rubinfeld, at which the Rebbe served as sandek and mohel.

The Rebbe davened Shacharis in the Yeshiva Ketana Branch Divrei Chaim, under the direction of HaRav R' Shlomo Elimelech Stein shlit"a, in the Talmud Torah building, the Goldstein building. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochur, the bochur Yaakov, son of R' Eliezer Dovid Itzkowitz.

After davening, a lechayim gathering took place in the beis medrash hall. Several nigunim were sung, and the Rebbe drank lechayim and wished the bar mitzvah bochur and the rebbeim and talmidim of the yeshiva well. He then delivered divrei Torah and Mussar, urging the bochurim to make use of the last months until the end of the year with more Torah learning and by rising early to learn before dawn, and concluded with his holy blessing.

Thursday, Parshas Vayeira, 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Rebbe davened Shacharis in Yeshiva Gedolah, Beirach Moshe branch. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim.
- The bochur Yeshaya Eigner.
- The bochur Yekusiel Yuda Malach.

During the Torah reading, the Rebbe went up for hagbah. After davening, the Rebbe learned the daily Tehillim shiur on chapter 32, verse 2. Afterward, a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochurim in his private room.

In the afternoon hours, the distinguished philanthropist and leader R' Reuven (Rubi) Sharon, from Flatbush, entered the Rebbe's holy home together with his family members. A pleasant conversation developed about the shechita house and the mikvah, which he had visited there previously, and about affordable prices for making simchas in Kiryas Joel. The Rebbe warmly blessed him and thanked him for his great donations for the benefit of the community and the individual, and especially for the tzedakah fund of the Rebbetzin shlit"a, and gave him a gift of the sefer Lev Aharon.

At about 7:20, the Rebbe went down to the halls of his holy home for the simcha of the pidyon haben of his grandson, the newborn son of Rabbi Yoel Teitelbaum shlit"a (of Boro Park), son of HaGaon Rabbi Yisroel Shalom shlit"a, Av Beis Din of the beis medrash.
Upon arrival, the Rebbe warmly greeted the distinguished grandfathers, the Rabbanim shlit"a, as well as his brother, HaGaon Rabbi of our kehilla in Boro Park 15 shlit"a, and the Dombrova Rebbe shlit"a.
Several niggunim were sung, and then the pidyon haben took place. R' Yechiel Glanz shlit"a, son-in-law of Rabbi Shalom Halberstam shlit"a, served as the kohen receiving the redemption. Afterward, the baal simcha, Rabbi Yoel Teitelbaum shlit"a, stepped forward.
The Rebbe drank lechayim and tasted the mezonos and fish, and blessed the baal simcha, the grandfathers, and the entire assembly. He then delivered words of Torah and explained that at a pidyon haben, Hashem also forgives all the sins of all the participants, just as at a bris, and concluded with abundant blessings. The event ended at around 7:50.

At about 8:10, the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy home in the Ohel Kt.

Yechidus hours were from 8:30 until 12:45 at night in his holy home.

At about 9:00, the Rebbe went down to the tenaim hall in his holy home, where the Rebbe read the tenaim of the mechutanim, R' Yoel, son of R' Yosef Weiss, and R' Simcha Katz.

During the yechidus hours, Rabbi Yehuda Garmi shlit"a, chief rabbi of Iran, entered together with board members of the Rav Tov organization for the rescue of Iranian refugees. A pleasant conversation took place about Jewish life in Iran today, and the Rebbe shared of his holy blessing.

At about 10:30, the Rebbe entered the new beis medrash in his holy home, where the affixing of the mezuzah and the chanukas habayis took place for the many new rooms and facilities that were built for the benefit of the thousands of chassidim who come to the Rebbe.
The Rebbe affixed a mezuzah on the main entrance with a blessing, and then honored the community leaders and the philanthropists to affix a mezuzah on the remaining rooms. Afterward, a lechayim gathering was held in the main hall of the beis medrash.
The Rebbe drank lechayim and blessed the community leaders, philanthropists, and askanim, and the entire assembly. He delivered words of Torah and expressed his satisfaction that in the home of his father, the Rebbe, the Beirach Moshe zy"a, a gathering place for wise men has been established to help Jews at the time of their simchas and to enable them to hold tenaim and Shabbos sheva brachos at astonishingly affordable prices, and concluded with abundant blessings.

Also entering the Rebbe were askanim of Merkaz Ezra V'Yoetz together with R' Nosson Rosenblatt of Yerushalayim, a great supporter of the effort to save Jewish bochurim from the decree of the draft, who stands ready to assist Merkaz Ezra V'Yoetz. A conversation took place about the many activities and initiatives used to help thousands of bochurim from the draft decree. He expressed great appreciation for the help that Satmar chassidim provide by building more and more offices to help as many bochurim as possible, and the Rebbe shared of his holy blessing.

The Rebbe davened Maariv at about 12:45.

Wednesday, Parshas Re'eh 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Rebbe davened Shacharis in the Beis Medrash HaGadol.

In the evening, the Rebbe officiated at kiddushin at the chuppah of the mechutanim.
- HaGaon Rabbi Yoel Berger shlit"a and HaGaon Rabbi Yisroel Yuda Wertzberger shlit"a in the halls of Kinor David.
- R' Yoel Abramovitz and R' Yoel Schnitzer in the halls of Beis Rochel Paradise.

At around 8:15, the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy home on Ohel Court.

Entry times at the Kiryas Joel court were from 8:30 until 1:30 after midnight, in his holy home.

During the entry times, the Rebbe went down to the tnaim halls in his holy home, where the Rebbe read the tnaim of the mechutanim.

- HaGaon Rabbi Yoel Acker shlit"a and R' Yisroel Landau.

At around 10:10, a lechayim gathering took place at the Kiryas Joel court in honor of the engagement of a grandchild of the Beirach Moshe zy"a. The chosson is the son of HaGaon Rabbi Shalom Teitelbaum shlit"a, Dayan and Moreh Hora'ah of Kiryas Vayoel Moshe, and the kalla is the daughter of HaGaon HaTzaddik Rabbi Shlomo Rubin shlit"a, Rav of the Tzeshenov beis medrash in Kiryas Joel. A pleasant conversation took place about the wedding customs of our holy Rebbes zy"a of Sighet and Sanz.
The kinyan was made and joyous songs were sung. The Rebbe drank lechayim and blessed the chosson, the mechutanim, the family members, and the entire gathering. At the end, the Rebbe blessed the kalla and her family, and his sister, the Rebbetzin of Montreal tlita, and it concluded at around 10:30.

Also at the Kiryas Joel court, the letters were inscribed for the Sefer Torah that is being written by R' Aharon Yitzchak Dovid Landau and will be brought in this Shabbos Kodesh to the Beis Medrash HaGadol. The Rebbe wrote in several letters, drank lechayim, and imparted from his holy blessing.

Also entering the Kiryas Joel court were members of the board of the chinuch mosdos of Monticello. A pleasant conversation took place about the flourishing and growth of the Torah institutions over the course of the whole year, and about the many new residents who moved to Monticello following the call of the Rebbe shlit"a at the hilula seudah this past 26 Nissan, to the entire chassidic community to move from Brooklyn to Monticello. The Rebbe imparted from his holy blessing to them.

The Rebbe davened Maariv at around 12:50 and afterwards continued receiving the public.

Tuesday, Parshas Vayeira 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Rebbe davened Shacharis in Yeshiva Gedolah Branch Eitz Chaim - Shiur Gimmel. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim.
- The bochur Chaim Shlomo Kraus.
- The bochur Shmuel Shalilof.
- The bochur Avrohom Yaakov Weinberger.
- The bochur Baruch Mordechai Reich.

After davening, the Rebbe recited the daily Tehillim shiur, on chapter 32, verse 2. Afterwards, a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochurim in the heichal of the beis medrash.

In the evening, the Rebbe officiated at kiddushin at the chuppah of the mechutanim.
- R' Tzvi Mordechai Markowitz and R' Yeshaya Yitzchak Hochheiser in the Kinor David halls.
- R' Yoel Berish Landau and R' Yosef Leib Wertzberger in the Bais Rachel Paradise halls.

At around 8:05, the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy home on Ohel Street.

Entry hours to the Rebbe's room were from 8:20 until 12:50 at night in his holy home.

During the entry hours, HaGaon Rabbi Yosef Yitzchak Rosenfeld shlit"a, Dayan of Shevet HaLevi Monsey, entered the Rebbe's room together with several askanim of the 'HaGiborim' technology organization. A pleasant conversation took place about the organization's activities, and the Rebbe bestowed from his holy blessing.

The administration of 'Mosdos Kiryas Yoel' also entered the Rebbe's room and delivered a report to the Rebbe shlit"a about today's visit by the esteemed Governor Hochul in the Bais Rachel camp, where she was received with proper honor by thousands of students, and they thanked her for her help for the benefit of chinuch. They also discussed in particular the details of the upcoming meeting with the askanim in the home of R' Meir Hirsch, where various matters will be discussed for the benefit of our Jewish brethren, the residents of New York in general and the residents of Kiryas Joel in particular.

The Rebbe davened Maariv at around 10:30 and then continued to receive the public.

Monday, Parshas Vayeira — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Rebbe davened Shacharis in Yeshiva Gedolah, the Divrei Yoel branch. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochur, the bochur Shmuel Naftali Hirtzka Glantz.

During the Torah reading, the Rebbe was called up for the third aliyah. After davening, he delivered the Tehillim shiur on chapter 30, verse 2. Afterward, a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochur in the Rebbe's private room.

In the evening, the Rebbe officiated at the kiddushin at the chuppah of the mechutanim:
- HaGaon Rabbi Dovid Chananya Weiss shlit"a and R' Akiva Tzvi Geshtetner, in the Kinor David halls.
- R' Shlomo Mendlowitz and R' Avrohom Mattisyahu Kohn, in the Beis Rachel Paradise halls.
- HaGaon Rabbi Avrohom Simcha Gottlieb shlit"a and R' Mordechai Mendel Gutman a"h, in the Ginas Klein halls.

In the afternoon hours, a meeting took place in the Rebbe's holy home with the rabbonim of the Vaad L'Taharenu of our holy kehilla. They discussed at length the great success regarding technological devices with the hechsher of the Vaad HaKehillos. The Rebbe praised the activities of the Vaad HaKehillos and gave his holy directive to continue standing guard with united strength together with all the kehillos, and bestowed his blessing.

At around 8:15 the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy home, at the Ohel Building.

The reception hours at the Rebbe's holy home were from 8:30 until 1:35 at night.

During the reception hours, the Rebbe received a visit from HaGaon HaTzaddik Rabbi Pinchas Friedman shlit"a, head of the kollelim of Belz chassidim in Eretz Yisroel, together with his son-in-law HaGaon R' Moshe Stessel shlit"a, one of the dayanim of Belz in Boro Park. A fine conversation took place about the laws of treifos, and about the new Belz town now being built in America. The dayanim expressed the strong resonance of the Rebbe shlit"a's talks regarding the purpose of having one's own town and what must be ensured when building a new Jewish town, and especially not to build next to an existing chassidic town, which destroys another's livelihood and the other's goals in building an additional town. This has a strong influence on all the G-d-fearing kehillos. HaGaon HaTzaddik Rabbi Pinchas shlit"a presented the Rebbe shlit"a with his sefer Bishvili Pinchas, and the Rebbe gave him his sefer Lev Aharon on Shas and bestowed his blessing.

The Skolye 18 Rebbe shlit"a also visited the Rebbe. A fine conversation took place about stories of tzaddikim. The Skolye Rebbe shlit"a presented the Rebbe shlit"a with the sefer Maayan Ganim by his grandfather, the holy Skolye Rebbe zt"l, which was recently reprinted. The Rebbe honored him with a lechayim and bestowed his blessing.

The Rebbe davened Maariv at around 12:50 and then continued receiving the public.

Sunday, Parshas Re'eh — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

This morning a bris took place for the newborn son of R' Yoel Kasirer (Monsey), where the Rebbe served as sandek and mohel.

The Rebbe davened Shacharis in the Beis Medrash HaGadol. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim:
- the bochur Tzvi Weiss.
- the bochur Yitzchak Schnitzer.
- the bochur Eliezer Weinberger.
- the bochur Avrohom Yosef Stessel.
- the bochur Yissachar Markowitz.
- the bochur Yoel Yisroel Meir Spielman.
- the bochur Yoel, son of Avrohom Meir Schwartz.
- the bochur Eliezer Ari Jungreis.
- the bochur Chaim Rachamim Seruga.
- the bochur Dovid Weinberger.

After davening, HaGaon R' Mordechai Betzalel Klein shlit"a, dayan and moreh d'asra of our kehilla in Lakewood, took leave of the Rebbe shlit"a.
Also entering the Rebbe's room was Rabbi Mordechai Dov Meisels shlit"a, son of HaGaon R' Aharon shlit"a and grandson of the Av Beis Din of Montreal shlit"a, who presented the Rebbe shlit"a with his sefer Peri Chemed on ribbis. The Rebbe looked into it for a while and bestowed his holy blessing.

Afterwards a lechayim took place with the bar mitzvah bochurim in the hall of the beis medrash.

Around 1:00 the Rebbe went to the halls of Bais Rochel Paradise for the 'Chumash Seudah' for the 550 first-grade talmidim, may they live long, from all branches of Mosdos Kiryas Joel. The children sang songs and rhymes in honor of the occasion and recited the verses of Chumash Vayikra, led by the menahalim Rabbi Yoel Acker shlit"a, Rabbi Dovid Chananya Weiss shlit"a, and Rabbi Dovid Falkowitz shlit"a.
The Rebbe drank lechayim, spoke a few holy words, emphasized the importance of learning Torah with young children (tinokos shel beis rabban), and bestowed abundant blessings.
Afterwards the Rebbe distributed a gift to all the children, a Krias Shema She'al HaMitah booklet, and the Rebbe also presented a gift to the esteemed R' Shalom Eliyahu Markowitz, who had purchased the zechus of the event. The children then stood up and danced while the Rebbe watched with nachas. It concluded around 1:50.

Afterwards the Rebbe set out on his annual visit to Camp Bais Rochel.
Upon arriving around 2:45, the Rebbe went into the new beis medrash of the country-grounds 'Beis Avrohom Abba.' The Rebbe greeted the rabbis of the camp and looked around the beis medrash.
Then a lechayim gathering took place in the beis medrash hall. The Rebbe drank lechayim and blessed the benefactor R' Meir Hirsch, the rabbis of the camp, and the entire public, and spoke holy words in praise of the camp's administration, who devote themselves to the Bais Rochel students so that they can be educated to raise proper Jewish generations in accordance with the tradition handed down to us, and concluded with abundant blessings.

Afterwards R' Meir Hirsch spoke. At the end, the Rebbe gave Rabbi Eliyahu Shlomo Kohn shlit"a, director of Bais Rochel, his sefer Lev Aharon to distribute to the kollel members of Camp Bais Rochel.

Then around 3:05 the Rebbe went to the Shaarei Shalva building, where thousands of Bais Rochel students were gathered. The Rebbe spoke at length with words of guidance in matters of tznius and concluded with his holy blessings.
Rabbi Eliyahu Shlomo Kohn shlit"a then spoke and asked the Rebbe, on behalf of the thousands of students, to keep the students in mind during the Days of Mercy and Favor, that they may grow in Torah and fear of Heaven and merit a good, blessed year.

Afterwards the Rebbe went to one of the dormitory buildings and looked at the bedrooms. The Rebbe asked the camp administration to work to expand the dormitory buildings so as to provide bedrooms for the students in a more spacious manner, and blessed the members of the mosdos administration and the camp administration. It concluded around 3:30.

From there the Rebbe traveled to Kiryas Yoel Moshe in Monticello for the simcha of the hachnasas sefer Torah in memory of HaGaon Rabbi Leibush Teitelbaum zt"l, dayan of the kiryah.
Around 3:45 the Rebbe arrived at Beis Medrash Zichron Yechiel Michel. The Rebbe took the Sefer Torah and danced with holy joy, and then recited Ledovid Mizmor as customary.

Afterwards a lechayim gathering took place in the beis medrash hall, with songs of Torah, and HaGaon R' Shalom Teitelbaum shlit"a, dayan of the kiryah, spoke.

The Rebbe drank lechayim and blessed the many rabbis present and the entire public, and spoke holy words about the joy of completing the writing of a Sefer Torah. He elaborated in praise of the place, a splendid corner to which everyone turns throughout the summer weeks, and blessed the administration of the kiryah, who have provided all the public's needs during the past 27 years since the kiryah was founded. The Rebbe mentioned the distinguished dayan HaGaon Rabbi Leibush zt"l, who stood at the head of the kiryah throughout all the years, and blessed his son, the dayan of the kiryah, who follows in his father's ways and is engaged in judging and teaching the entire public, and concluded with abundant blessings.

The singing of joyous songs continued and the Rebbe stood up and danced. It concluded around 4:25.

Afterwards the Rebbe traveled to the Hamispik resort in the Catskills. The Rebbe first went into the home of R' Meir Wertheimer in the resort for a lechayim gathering. A pleasant conversation ensued about the many housing projects being built in the Catskills and the many activities of the Hamispik organization, among them Camp 'Mamtakim' for many Hamispik students of Rockland.
The Rebbe drank lechayim and blessed R' Meir and his family, and Rabbi Elazar Yonah Silberman shlit"a, director of Camp Mamtakim.

Afterwards the Rebbe went to the Camp Mamtakim building and looked around the newly added wing of the building and went into the hall where the students and the camp staff were gathered.
Rabbi Elazar Yonah Silberman shlit"a spoke and welcomed the Rebbe shlit"a. The Rebbe then spoke words of chizuk to the students and emphasized the importance of helping the sick of Israel, and mentioned in praise R' Meir Wertheimer, who established the mosad and has done so much for the sick of Israel for many years, and concluded with his holy blessing. It concluded around 5:00.

Afterwards the Rebbe went to the halls of Ateres Wertheimer in the resort, where the siyum on Maseches Shabbos of the Talmud Yerushalmi took place, as part of the Toraschu Sha'ashuai group. The Rebbe greeted the rabbis at the head table and the guest speaker, HaGaon R' Noach Eizik Eilbaum shlit"a, Av Beis Din of Humenne, and rhymes were sung.
The Rebbe drank lechayim and blessed the entire public, and spoke holy words that the joy at a siyum on a maseches is not only over the maseches that was finished, but one also rejoices that a new maseches is being started. He spoke in praise of the participants, a large portion of whom have already completed the entire Shas Talmud Bavli, and blessed that they should be able to complete the entire Talmud Yerushalmi, and concluded with his holy blessing to the administration of the Toraschu Sha'ashuai group and to all the learners.

On his way out, the Rebbe warmly blessed R' Yitzchak Schwartz, patron and spiritual force behind the Toraschu Sha'ashuai group.
Then the Rebbe went down to the lowest floor, where the Rebbe looked around at the magnificent mikvah with its nearly 300 seats. Around 5:30 the Rebbe left the resort on the way home to Kiryas Joel.

In the evening the Rebbe officiated at kiddushin at the chuppahs of the mechutanim:
- R' Shimon Hershkowitz and R' Aharon Yosef Landau in the halls of Kinor Dovid.
- Rabbi Avrohom Goldberger shlit"a and Rabbi Avrohom Meir Markowitz shlit"a in the halls of Bais Rochel Paradise.
- R' Yisroel Meyer and R' Avrohom Farkash in the halls of Ginas Klein.

Around 8:30 the Rebbe davened Mincha in the new beis medrash in his holy home on Ohel Court.

After Mincha the Rebbe went down to the tenaim halls in his holy home, where the Rebbe read the tenaim of the mechutanim:
- HaGaon R' Yoel Schwartz shlit"a, dayan of Beis Medrash Binyan Gelbstein of Williamsburg, and R' Chaim Ellenbogen.
- Rabbi Hersh Elimelech Rubinfeld shlit"a and Rabbi Yoel Spitzer shlit"a.

Entry times for the Rebbe shlit"a were from 9:10 until 1:45 at night in his holy home on Ohel Court.

During the entry times, HaGaon R' Tzvi Avigdor Pecsete shlit"a, Av Beis Din of Nagykároly, entered the inner room and presented his new sefer Imrei Tal, with an abridgment of the sefer Simlah Chadashah on the laws of shechita. The Rebbe looked into it for a while, a pleasant conversation ensued, and the Rebbe bestowed his holy blessing upon him.

The Rebbe davened Maariv around 12:50 and then continued receiving the public.
