Friday, Parshas Haazinu — Erev Rosh Hashana 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

At the early morning hour of 5:18, the Rebbe entered the Beis Medrash HaGadol wrapped in the tallis and wearing the kapel of the Rebbe, the Divrei Yoel zy"a, and approached the Selichos of 'Zechor Bris' with great inspiration.
R' Yaakov Hollander and R' Akiva Weinstock were honored with the Pesichos.
They concluded at around 7:30 and the Rebbe returned to his holy home.

At around 9:45 the Rebbe arrived at the Beis Medrash HaGadol for Shacharis.
Before davening, the brissin took place.
- The newborn son of R' Yaakov, son of R' Yitzchak Friedman, where the Rebbe served as sandek and mohel.
- The newborn son of R' Yitzchak Moskowitz, where the Rebbe served as sandek.

The Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim.
- the bochur Elazar Friedman.
- the bochur Avrohom Yitzchak Goldberger a"h.

After davening the Rebbe recited fifteen chapters of Tehillim and completed Tehillim for the second time, as is customary in the month of Elul. After removing his tefillin, the Rebbe shlit"a performed Hataras Nedarim before a minyan and recited the declarations of mesirus moduos, thanked them, and wished them a good inscription and sealing.

Thursday, Parshas Haazinu — Selichos 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

At 5:45 the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a entered the Beis Medrash HaGadol for the recital of Selichos, with R' Elimelech Shimshon Schwartz leading the davening. They concluded at around 6:25, and the Rebbe returned to his holy home.

Before davening, a bris took place for the newborn son of R' Yoshe Gefen, where the Rebbe served as sandek and mohel.

The Rebbe davened Shacharis in the Beis Medrash HaGadol. The Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim:
- the bochur Yoel, son of R' Baruch Yitzchak Weiss.
- the bochur Lipa Mendelovitch.
During the Torah reading the Rebbe was called up as Shlishi. After davening the shofar was blown and fifteen chapters of Tehillim were recited, as is customary in the month of Elul.

After davening, a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochurim in the Rebbe's private room.

Yechidus hours in Kiryas Joel were from 6:45 until 10:50 at night, in his holy home on Ohel Court.

The Rebbe davened Mincha at around 7:45 and Maariv at around 10:50.

During the yechidus hours, a meeting was held in Kiryas Joel together with the board and administration of the 'Ezer Health Center,' where they discussed at length many details of how to expand and improve the health center for the benefit of the thousands of residents of Kiryas Joel. On this occasion the Rebbe appointed new board members to assist the current board: R' Yitzchak Shlomo Polatschek, R' Eliezer Dovid Itzkowitz, and R' Shalom Yitzchak Herskowitz.
The Rebbe pointed out that they are all longtime askanim and will be able to use their expertise to help the health center to the satisfaction of the thousands of residents of the town. He warmly wished his holy blessing to the new board members and to the current board members.

Wednesday, Parshas Haazinu, Selichos 4 — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

At 5:45 the Rebbe shlit"a entered the Beis Medrash HaGadol for the recitation of Selichos. The baal tefillah was HaRav R' Ari Dov Kornbluh shlit"a. They finished at around 6:20.
After Selichos, a bris took place for the newborn son of R' Shlomo Menashe son of R' Yoel Falkowitz, at which the Rebbe served as sandek and mohel.

The Rebbe davened Shacharis in the Beis Medrash HaGadol. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim:
- The bochur Yosef Shaul Lichtenstein.
- The bochur Naftali Hirtzka Jacob.
The Rebbe blew the shofar and recited fifteen chapters of Tehillim, as is customary during the month of Elul.

After davening, a lechayim with the bar mitzvah bochurim took place in his private room.

In the afternoon hours, the Rebbe telephoned to comfort the mourners: the Strizhov Rebbe shlit"a, and HaRav R' Alter Eliezer Horowitz shlit"a, Rav of the Beis Medrash Kedushas Yom Tov of our holy community in Williamsburg, and his brother HaRav R' Zalman Leib Horowitz shlit"a, dayan of the Monsey Halachic Institute, who are sitting shiva for their brother/father, HaGaon HaTzaddik, Av Beis Din of Zalishchyk zt"l.

The reception hours in Kiryas Joel ran from 6:45 until 12:15 at night in his holy home on Ohel St.

At around 7:30 the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy home.

During the reception hours, the rabbanim of the Eruvin Committee of the Beis Din of Kiryas Joel came in to Kiryas Joel and presented a report to the Rebbe shlit"a on the many activities of the committee over the past year for the many eruvin throughout Kiryas Joel and in all the neighborhoods of greater Kiryas Joel. Among other things, in recent weeks the eruv for the Kedushas Levi neighborhood was completed, as well as the massive project of connecting all the eruvin of the neighborhoods in the Town of Monroe with the central Kiryas Joel eruv. In addition, the members of the committee's administration presented a report on the success of the campaign held in recent weeks for the benefit of the Eruvin Committee. The Rebbe went through the lists of the larger donors with great satisfaction

and extended his holy blessing to the rabbanim and administration of the Eruvin Committee, and in particular to HaRav R' Yoel Kahn shlit"a, chairman of the committee.

The Rebbe davened Maariv at around 12:15.

Tuesday, Parshas Haazinu, Selichos 3 — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

At 5:45 the Rebbe shlit"a entered the Beis Medrash HaGadol for the recitation of Selichos. The baal tefillah was HaRav R' Aharon Wertzberger. They finished at around 6:30, and the Rebbe returned to his holy home.

The Rebbe davened Shacharis in the Beis Medrash HaGadol. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on his grandson, the bar mitzvah bochur Shmuel Shmelka (may he live long and well), son of HaRav R' Chaim Hersh Teitelbaum shlit"a, son of his brother-in-law (mechutan), the Rav of the Beis Medrash Beirach Moshe, HaGaon HaTzaddik shlit"a.
Afterward, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochur, the bochur Bentzion Goldman.
The Rebbe blew the shofar and recited fifteen chapters of Tehillim, as is customary during the month of Elul.

After davening, a festive lechayim gathering took place in honor of the simcha of putting on tefillin, in the Chadar Avraham Yuda. Joyous songs were sung, and the Rebbe drank lechayim and blessed the bar mitzvah bochur, his mechutan, the Rav of the Beis Medrash Beirach Moshe, HaGaon HaTzaddik shlit"a, his grandson's father R' Chaim Hersh shlit"a, and the entire assembled. Then the bar mitzvah bochur recited the pshetl, and they sang him in as is customary.
The Rebbe then delivered words of Torah and Mussar, bringing out that tefillin connects Klal Yisroel to Hakadosh Baruch Hu, and for this reason teshuvah is effective; accordingly, a bar mitzvah is a good preparation for Rosh Hashana. He concluded with his holy blessing.

In his holy home, a seudah of Shacharis was held in honor of the bar mitzvah simcha together with the Rav of the Beis Medrash Beirach Moshe, HaGaon HaTzaddik shlit"a, and his family. Beautiful conversations took place about the customs of the month of Tishrei and bar mitzvah customs, and joyous songs were sung.
At Birkas HaMazon, the Rebbe honored the bar mitzvah bochur Shmuel Shmelka (may he live long and well).

In the afternoon, the Rebbe traveled to Williamsburg for the weekly reception hours.
The reception hours in Kiryas Joel ran from 4:30 until 11:30 at night in his holy home on Hayes St.

The Rebbe davened Mincha at around 6:30 and Maariv at around 9:50 in his holy home.

During the reception hours, over a hundred orphan girls, students of the Ohr Chadash institution, came in to Kiryas Joel to receive a blessing in anticipation of the Days of Mercy and Favor. The administration presented a report on the many activities of the institution for the benefit of the orphans. The Rebbe conveyed a holy blessing to the orphans, blessed chains (kaitelach) that will be distributed to all the orphans, and extended his holy blessing to all the askanim and askaniyos of the institution.

Monday, Parshas Haazinu, Second Night of Selichos — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

At 5:45 the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a entered the Beis Medrash HaGadol for the recital of Selichos. The ba'al tefillah was HaGaon R' Berel Glantz shlit"a of Bardiov. They finished at around 6:25, and the Rebbe returned home to his holy residence.

Before davening, a bris was held for the newborn son of R' Mendel, son of Yaakov Farkash, where the Rebbe served as sandek and mohel.

The Rebbe davened Shacharis in the Beis Medrash HaGadol.
During the Torah reading, the Rebbe was called up as the third aliyah, and after davening the shofar was blown and fifteen chapters of Tehillim were recited, as is customary in the month of Elul.

During the morning hours the Rebbe went on his weekly visit to the glatt kosher slaughterhouse.

Yechidus hours at the Rebbe's holy residence on Ohel Court were from 6:30 until 12:20 after midnight.

At the start of the yechidus hours, the mechutanim entered: HaGaon R' Avrohom Yechezkel Friedman shlit"a, Av Beis Din of Komemiyus Monsey, and Rabbi Avrohom Panet shlit"a, son of the Dees Rebbe of Kiryas Joel shlit"a, to receive the Rebbe's holy blessing while standing in the days of Sheva Brachos of the wedding of their children, mazel tov. A pleasant conversation ensued, and the Rebbe extended his blessings to the chassan, the mechutanim, and the entire family.

At around 7:50 the Rebbe davened Mincha.

Among the hundreds of men who entered to give and receive blessings were HaGaon Rabbi Yoel Hersh Moskowitz shlit"a, dayan and moreh tzedek of Kiryas Tosh; HaGaon R' Avrohom Dovid Warfman shlit"a, Av Beis Din of Buchach Monsey; and HaGaon R' Henoch Mordechai Meisels shlit"a, rav of the Talshaver beis medrash in Kiryas Joel. The Rebbe extended his holy blessing towards the days of mercy and favor.

At around 9:40 the Rebbe went down to the halls of his holy residence, where the Rebbe read the tenaim of the mechutanim, R' Yoel, son of Yitzchak Weingarten, and R' Yudel Moskowitz.

At around 12:00 the Kivyashd Rebbe shlit"a came for a visit. A pleasant conversation ensued regarding HaRav HaKadosh Rabbi Dovid of Kshanov zt"l, whose yahrzeit it was. The Rebbe honored him with a lechayim and shared of his holy blessing, and wished well to his son, R' Dovid Halberstam shlit"a, manhig ruchni of our holy institutions in Linden, and in the course of this a conversation developed about the growth and flourishing of our kehilla

and our holy institutions in the city of Linden. The Rebbe accompanied him out to the street.

The Rebbe davened Maariv at around 12:20.

After the yechidus hours, the Rebbe comforted the avel R' Baruch Mordechai Rosenberg, who is sitting shiva for his father, R' Hershel a"h.

Sunday, Parshas Haazinu — First Selichos, 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

At daybreak, at 5:20, the Rebbe entered the Beis Medrash HaGadol for Selichos, amid thousands upon thousands of the kehilla, wrapped in the tallis and wearing the kappel of the Divrei Yoel zy"a. The Rebbe approached the amud and led the Selichos with great fervor.
The Rebbe led the Selichos from the Divrei Yoel zy"a. They concluded at 6:20. After Selichos, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bochur R' Dovid Weiss, and the Rebbe then returned to his holy home.

The Rebbe entered the Beis Medrash HaGadol for Shacharis at around 9:50. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim:
- The bochur Chaim Hersh, son of R' Eliyahu Goldberger.
- The bochur Yechiel Michel Friedman.
- The bochur Asher Zev Berger.
The Rebbe blew the shofar and recited fifteen chapters of Tehillim, as is customary during the month of Elul.

After davening a bris took place for the newborn son of R' Kalman Eliezer Weiss, at which the Rebbe served as sandek and mohel.

After chatzos, the Rebbe went to the home of his grandson, Rabbi Yoshe Mordechai Elazar Lavin shlit"a, son-in-law of the Rav of the Beis Medrash Beirach Moshe, HaGaon Rabbi shlit"a, for the upsherin of his son, the child Naftali Tzvi.
The Rebbe cut off a few hairs, put the kappel and tzitzis on him, and blessed him with the blessing of holiness. Afterwards the Rebbe washed for the morning meal. Beautiful conversations followed, with stories of tzaddikim of the Zidichov dynasty, and joyous melodies were sung. The Rebbe recited the blessing over the cup. It concluded at around 2:00.

Reception hours for the kehilla were from 6:45 until 11:30 at night, at the Rebbe's holy home on Ohel Street.

At around 8:10 the Rebbe davened Mincha.

At around 9:00 the Rebbe went down to the halls of his holy home, where the Rebbe read the tenaim of the mechutanim, R' Mordechai Yoel Lebowitz and R' Yeshaya Binyamin Spielman.

The Rebbe davened Maariv at around 10:50 and then continued receiving the public.

Shabbos Kodesh, Parshas Nitzavim — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

On Friday night at around 8:00 the Rebbe entered the beis medrash wrapped in his tallis and approached the amud for Mincha. Kabbalas Shabbos: R' Tzvi Toivy Epstein. They finished at around 9:35. The congregation went over to wish a gut Shabbos, and the Rebbe went home to his holy residence.

At around 10:35 the Rebbe entered the tish in the Heichal HaMesivta together with the talmidim of Shiur Gimmel from all the branches of the yeshivos ketanos of Mosdos Kiryas Yoel, and began, as is his holy custom, with Shalom Aleichem with emotion and sweetness.
- Eishes Chayil: the Rebbe's grandson, the bochur Chaim Hersh Ashkenazi, son of HaRav Meir Yuda Ashkenazi shlit"a, son-in-law of the Rebbe's brother-in-law, HaGaon, rav of Beis Medrash Avnei Tzedek shlit"a.

During the zemiros the Rebbe honored the menahalim of the yeshivos ketanos.

The Rebbe delivered a Torah thought on the verse "You are standing today, all of you," and explained that through immersion in the mikvah one merits that Hashem acquires Klal Yisroel with kinyan meshichah by calling to them and they come, without needing to resort to striking with a stick. He then quoted from the Chasam Sofer that in a year when Rosh Hashana falls on Shabbos, a further twenty-four hours of the holiness of Shabbos are added, and there are 72 hours, equal in numerical value to "chesed," which arouses Hashem's attribute of chesed, so that He will call and they will come.

Thursday, Parshas Nitzavim 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Rebbe davened Shacharis in the beis medrash in his holy home at around 8:15. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim:
- The bochur Yoel, son of R' Hillel Spitzer.
- The bochur Yechezkel Avigdor Klein.
During the Torah reading, the Rebbe went up for hagbah. After davening, the shofar was blown and fifteen chapters of Tehillim were recited, as is customary during the month of Elul. Afterwards, a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochurim in the Rebbe's private room.

At around 10:30 the Rebbe left his holy home on the way to Stewart Airport, from where the private plane took off at around 12:05 on its way to Washington, D.C., for the historic visit of a rabbinic delegation to the White House in Washington, led by the leading rabbonim headed by our Rebbe shlit"a, at a rare meeting with President Trump, may his glory be raised.

At around 5:05, after a short break in a special room at the airport, the Rebbe's private plane took off and landed at Stewart Airport at around 5:55.

From there the Rebbe traveled back home to Kiryas Joel and immediately continued on to his holy home on Ohel Court, to receive members of the kehilla ahead of the days of mercy and favor.

Reception hours were from 6:30 until 12:50 at night in his holy home on Ohel Court.

At around 7:15 the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy home.

At around 7:50 the Rebbe officiated at the kiddushin at the chuppah of the mechutanim R' Moshe Leib Weitriel and R' Yosef Pinchas Strulovitch in the halls of Ginat Klein.

During the reception hours, the letters were inscribed for the Torah scroll being written by R' Yosha Berach Weiner, which will be brought in this Shabbos to the Beis Medrash Binyan Barach of our holy kehilla in Williamsburg. The Rebbe wrote in several letters and bestowed from his holy blessing.

At around 9:45 the Rebbe went down to the halls in his holy home, where the Rebbe read the tenaim of the mechutanim R' Yoel Avrohom Wolf Appel and R' Berel Gold.

The Rebbe davened Maariv at around 12:20 and afterwards continued to receive the public.

Wednesday, Parshas Nitzavim — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Rebbe davened Shacharis in Beis Medrash Eitz Chaim Sigut on Hewes St., together with the avreichim of Kollel Boker of the Sigut beis medrash.
Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochur, the bochur Yoel Bleich.
After davening, the Rebbe blew shofar and said fifteen chapters of Tehillim, as is customary during the month of Elul. Afterwards, a lechayim celebration took place with the bar mitzvah bochur in the Rebbe's private room in his holy home.

At around 12:30, the Rebbe traveled to Boro Park for the annual receiving of the kehilla.

Upon arriving in Boro Park at around 1:15, the Rebbe first went to our beis medrash on 15th Ave., dressed in Shabbos clothing, for the bris of the grandson of his brother, HaGaon Rabbi, the Rav of our kehilla in Boro Park 15 shlit"a, a son born to Rabbi Shimon Teitelbaum shlit"a, son of the HaGaon, Av Beis Din of Sasov shlit"a, and son-in-law of the HaGaon, Av Beis Din of Elesk Linden shlit"a.
The Rebbe was honored with sandek and mohel, and afterwards recited the blessings and the naming.
After the bris, the congregation went over to wish mazel tov.
Afterwards, a lechayim celebration took place in the sanctuary of the beis medrash. A pleasant conversation ensued, the Rebbe drank lechayim and bestowed from his holy blessing. The gabbai, R' Asaf Wohlberg, recited the Mi Sheberach as is customary.

At around 1:55, the Rebbe arrived at the hall of our kollel, 'Kollel Divrei Yoel,' where the Rebbe delivered a shiur on the sugya of 'Chatzi Shiur' as preparation for the Shabbos Shuva derasha. The sugya shiur was also broadcast by hookup to the Hechal HaMesivta in Kiryas Joel.
Upon arriving at the kollel, the Rebbe greeted HaGaon, the Dayan and Moreh Tzedek of our kehilla in Boro Park shlit"a, and the members of the kollel's administration and rabbanim. The Rebbe began by praising the members of the kollel and said that it is a joy to be able to deliver a sugya shiur to the kollel yungeleit. After the shiur, he gave words of guidance, that a person must not underestimate his mitzvos and good deeds, but should know that every small thing, every "half-measure," is precious to Hashem. He concluded with his holy blessing.

The program ended at around 2:20 and the Rebbe went to the guest residence at the home of R' Moshe Kahana.

At around 4:10, the Rebbe arrived at his private room in the Beis HaMedrash HaGadol for the receiving of the kehilla, for the members of our community and residents of Boro Park, to bless and be blessed ahead of the Days of Mercy and Favor.

At around 4:30, the Sardahely Rebbe shlit"a came for a visit. A pleasant conversation ensued on the sugya of chatzi shiur and on various intercessions made by earlier Geonim and tzaddikim before kings and ministers for the benefit of the public and the individual. He also wished the Rebbe success at the reception with the President, may his glory be raised. The Rebbe honored him with a lechayim, and the Sardahely Rebbe shlit"a handed a kvitel to the Rebbe shlit"a, and the Rebbe bestowed from his holy blessing upon him.

Many HaGaonim Rabbanim, rabbanim and dayanim of our kehilla, city rabbanim, roshei yeshiva and prominent members of the community came in for yechidus ahead of the upcoming Yamim Noraim.
Among others, HaGaon Rabbi, the Rav of our kehilla in Boro Park shlit"a, and HaGaon Rabbi, the Rav of our kehilla in Boro Park 15 shlit"a, came in for yechidus, and pleasant conversations took place in Torah thoughts and stories of tzaddikim.
At around 6:15, the Rebbe davened Mincha in the sanctuary of the beis medrash. The baal tefillah was R' Amram Yoel Shlomon.

At around 8:15, the Rebbe went to the home of R' Moshe Kahana for a short break, and after a while the Rebbe returned to the beis medrash and continued receiving the public.

The Rebbe davened Maariv at around 10:50 in the sanctuary of the beis medrash. The baal tefillah was R' Yechiel Yuda Friedman. Afterwards he continued receiving the public until around 12:20.

After the reception, at around 12:30, the Rebbe went to the halls of 'The Legacy' for the wedding of the granddaughter of the Zmigrod Rebbe of Zanz shlit"a. The chassan is Rabbi Shmuel Klein shlit"a, son of HaGaon R' Mordechai Betzalel Klein shlit"a, Dayan and Moreh Tzedek of our kehilla in Lakewood. The kallah is the daughter of the Rebbe R' Chaim Meir Greenwald shlit"a, Av Beis Din of Tetsch in Boro Park, and son-in-law of the Zmigrod Rebbe of Zanz shlit"a.
The Rebbe drank lechayim and wished mazel tov to the chassan, the mechutanim, and the grandfathers shlit"a, and to the entire assembly. Afterwards, the Zmigrod Rebbe of Zanz shlit"a accompanied the Rebbe shlit"a out to the street.
At around 12:40, the Rebbe traveled home to his holy home in Kiryas Joel.

Tuesday, Parshas Nitzavim, 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

In the morning, a bris took place for a newborn son of R' Chaim Brish Friedman, at which the Rebbe served as sandek and mohel.

The Rebbe davened Shacharis in the Beis Medrash Imrei Noam in the Divrei Yoel neighborhood, together with the talmidim of Yeshiva Gedolah, the Esek HaTorah branch of Monsey, under the direction of HaRav Yisroel Mordechai Seidenfeld shlit"a.
Before davening, the Rebbe put on tefillin for the bar mitzvah bochur, the bochur Efraim Goldman.
The Rebbe blew shofar and said fifteen chapters of Tehillim, as is customary during the month of Elul.

After davening, the Rebbe delivered the daily Tehillim shiur on chapter 32, verse 6. Afterwards, a lechayim celebration took place in honor of the end of the zman in the main hall of the beis medrash. The Rebbe drank lechayim and offered good wishes to the bar mitzvah bochur and to the rebbeim and talmidim of the yeshiva, and delivered divrei Torah, highlighting the tremendous success the yeshiva had this year, as very good reports had been heard from the yeshiva, and wished good shidduchim for all the bochurim.
The Rebbe then distributed the sefer Berach Moshe - Sugyos HaShas to all the bochurim.

After Shacharis, the Rebbe went over to the beis medrash in his holy home on Ohel Court, where a bris took place for a newborn son of R' Hershel Wertheimer of Eretz Yisroel, residing in Monsey, at which the Rebbe served as sandek and mohel.
Afterwards a lechayim celebration took place in the main hall of the beis medrash. A pleasant conversation ensued, and the Rebbe drank lechayim and shared from his holy blessing. The shamash, R' Yoel Kaufman, recited the Mi Sheberach as is customary.

At around 1:45, the Rebbe went over to the hall of the Mesivta, Berach Moshe branch, where the Rebbe delivered the seventh sugya shiur, on the sugya of 'chatzi shiur', as preparation for the Shabbos Shuva derasha.

At the end, the Rebbe spoke about the sugya shiurim, saying that after learning seven sugya shiurim, we are still only at a chatzi shiur, and there is still much to toil over in the sugya. He said that tomorrow, Wednesday, there will be no shiur as he will be in Boro Park, and on Thursday, if it is possible, b'ezras Hashem, they will try to deliver a sugya shiur. He emphasized that in any case, the bochurim should try to make use of the time and finish the week with learning Torah.
After the shiur, the Rebbe engaged in pilpul with the bochurim. It ended at around 2:45.

After the sugya, the Rebbe traveled to Williamsburg for the weekly zmanei kenisa.
The zmanei kenisa in the Rebbe's holy home on Hooper St. were from 4:30 until 11:30 at night.

During the zmanei kenisa, HaGaon Rabbi Yekusiel Teitelbaum shlit"a entered the Rebbe's room to give and receive a blessing in anticipation of the Yamim Noraim, which should come upon us for good. A pleasant conversation took place, and the Rebbe shared from his holy blessing with him.

The Rebbe davened Mincha at around 6:00, and Maariv at around 10:30.

Monday, Parshas Nitzavim-Vayeilech, 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Rebbe davened Shacharis in Yeshiva Gedolah, Divrei Yoel branch. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim.
- the bochur Eliezer Dovid Glick.
- the bochur Tzion Ovadia Masri.
During the Torah reading, the Rebbe went up for hagbah, and after davening the shofar was blown and ten chapters of Tehillim were recited, as is customary in the month of Elul. Afterwards, the Rebbe studied the daily Tehillim shiur on chapter 32, verse 5. Then a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochurim in the Rebbe's private room.
The Rebbe also distributed a gift of a leather siddur to a group of bochurim who raised one thousand dollars for Kupas Zikaron Moshe, for the support of the mosdos of the holy city in Eretz Yisroel.

At around 1:45, the Rebbe went over to the Heichal HaMesivta, Beirach Moshe branch, where the Rebbe delivered the sixth shiur on the sugya of 'chatzi shiur' as preparation for the Shabbos Shuva derasha. After the shiur, the Rebbe engaged in pilpul with the bochurim. It concluded at around 2:35.

The zmanei kniyah in the Rebbe's presence ran from 6:30 until 1:20 at night, in his holy home on Ohel Court.

At around 7:20, the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy home.

After Mincha, the Rebbe officiated at the kiddushin at the chuppah of the mechutanim R' Yoel Greenfeld and R' Moshe Ackerman in the Gan Klein halls.

At around 9:15, the Rebbe went down to the halls in his holy home, where the Rebbe read the tnaim of the mechutanim R' Shneur Feivish Weberman and R' Yaakov Yuda Gefen.

During the zmanei kniyah, the Spinka Beit Shemesh Rebbe, Rebbe Naftali Menachem Weiss shlit"a, came for a visit in the Rebbe's presence. A pleasant conversation ensued and the Rebbe bestowed his holy blessing upon him.

The Rebbe davened Maariv at around 12:50 and then continued receiving the public.

After Maariv, askanim of Merkaz Ezra V'Yoetz entered the Rebbe's presence together with one of the Merkaz's lawyers, R' Moshe Weinberg, who is helping to free the dozens of bochurim and young men who are, sadly, languishing in military prisons, and particularly to strengthen them and ease their conditions while they languish in prison, and the askan R' Velvel Kuptchik of Beit Shemesh, one of the leading askanim of the Merkaz. A longer conversation took place about the difficult situation of the dozens of bochurim and young men sitting in the prisons and about the assistance being provided to them during their time in prison, and the Rebbe bestowed his holy blessing.
