Sunday, Parshas Re'eh — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Satmar Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in the Beis Medrash HaGadol. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim.

After davening, a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochurim in the Rebbe's private room.

After Shacharis, the bris of the newborn son of HaGaon R' Baruch Stern (son-in-law of the Rebbe's mechutan) took place in the home of his grandfather, R' Yisroel Bentzion Wertzberger, in Rewad, where the Rebbe served as sandek and mohel.

In the afternoon hours, the Rebbe traveled to Monsey, where the Rebbe paid a shiva call to the distinguished philanthropist R' Eliezer Shiner and his brothers, on the passing of their mother a"h.

In the afternoon at around 5:45, the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy home. After Mincha, a moving lechayim gathering and document-signing ceremony took place in his holy home, at which the distinguished builder and establisher of worlds of Torah, R' Moshe Goldstein, acquired the merit of naming the gigantic new Talmud Torah building of our holy institutions in Monsey, which is being built beneath the Beis Medrash HaGadol, for the astronomical sum of five million dollars, and it shall be called "Goldstein Building."

Participating in the lechayim gathering were the board members of our kehilla and our holy institutions in Monsey, together with the leader of the Monsey Av Beis Din shlit"a. A lengthy discussion took place about various efforts to advance our holy institutions in Monsey. Afterward, the Rebbe signed the documents together with the philanthropist, drank a lechayim, and warmly blessed the esteemed philanthropist and his family.

In the evening at around 8:15, the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a arrived at Beis Medrash Avnei Tzedek for the central Sheva Brachos celebration arranged by the mispallelim of the beis medrash in honor of the Rebbe shlit"a and in honor of the Rav of the beis medrash shlit"a. The Rav of the beis medrash shlit"a spoke, and the Rebbe drank a lechayim and blessed the chosson, the mechutanim, and the entire congregation.

Also participating in the Sheva Brachos was the Toldos Tzvi of Spinka Rebbe shlit"a. The Rebbe honored him with a lechayim and went out to dance with the chosson at the head. Afterward, the Rebbe danced further with the Toldos Tzvi Spinka Rebbe shlit"a.

They bentched with a zimun of the assembled company. For Birkas Hamazon, the Rebbe honored the Rav of the beis medrash shlit"a, the chosson's father-in-law. The first blessings were given to the grandfather, the Rosh Yeshiva of Vizhnitz shlit"a, and the final blessing to the mechutan, the Av Beis Din of Vizhnitz Manchester shlit"a.

After bentching, R' Abba Winkler performed with words of badchanus. They concluded at around 9:20.

Afterward, there was time for entry to the Rebbe's holy chamber until 12:50 at night.

Shabbos Kodesh, Parshas Eikev, Birchas HaChodesh Elul, Shabbos Sheva Brachos in Our Holy Courts, 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a.

Friday night, the Rebbe shlit"a left his holy home together with the chosson on the way to the beis medrash, and he was accompanied with song and music. At around 8:20 the Rebbe shlit"a entered the Beis Medrash HaGadol, wrapped in his tallis, and approached the amud for Mincha. Kabbalas Shabbos: HaGaon HaTzaddik R' Meir Yitzchak Horowitz shlit"a, Av Beis Din of Linsk, Boro Park. The davening ended at around 9:45.

After davening, the shamash, HaRav HaChassid R' Yoel Kaufman, announced a holy proclamation to pass on at home the obligation of all women to take part in the historic gathering of righteous women on Monday night.
An appeal was also made on behalf of Talmud Torah Noam Elimelech in Bnei Brak.
The crowd went over to wish each other a good Shabbos, and the Rebbe shlit"a went home to his holy residence.

At around 12:15 the Rebbe shlit"a entered the Shabbos seudah in the hall of the Beis Medrash HaGadol, and began, as is his holy custom, "Shalom Aleichem" with emotion and sweetness.

Eishes Chayil: the Rebbe's grandson, the bochur Meir Eliezer, son of HaGaon HaTzaddik, Rav of the Beirach Moshe beis medrash shlit"a. Raising the cup for Kiddush: the Rebbe's son-in-law, HaGaon HaTzaddik, Rav of the Avnei Tzedek beis medrash shlit"a.

The Rebbe shlit"a honored people with the zemiros. Kol Mekadesh: HaRav HaGaon R' Hershel Ashkenazi shlit"a, menahel of our holy yeshiva Be'er HaTorah in Williamsburg; Menucha V'Simcha: HaRav HaGaon R' Yoel Mendel Ashkenazi shlit"a, Rav of the beis medrash in Glogow.

The Rebbe shlit"a said Torah on the verse from the haftarah, "Look to Avraham your father," and explained that a Jew, even if he is not entirely complete, since he has within him even a little bit of holiness, is not lost.

The new chassanim went around taking fruit, and a Shalom Zachor took place at the home of the bochur Yoel, son of R' Yisroel Teitelbaum.

Afterwards, HaRav HaChassid R' Mordechai Dovid Oestreicher, as badchan of the king, called the Rebbe shlit"a to the mitzvah tantz, and the Rebbe shlit"a danced the holy dances with great strength and vigor, and then continued dancing with the chosson.
Afterwards the Rebbe shlit"a honored the grandfather, HaGaon HaTzaddik, Rosh Yeshiva of Vizhnitz shlit"a, and the mechutanim to dance. Then the Rebbe danced "Az Bayom HaShevi'i" in a circle in the middle of the beis medrash. It ended at around 2:30.

And on the holy Shabbos day

Shabbos morning the Rebbe shlit"a entered at 9:40. Pesukei D'Zimra: HaRav HaChassid R' Chaim Hersh Gold (Williamsburg). The Rebbe shlit"a approached the amud for Shacharis.

In the Torah, the Rebbe shlit"a spoke on the verse from the haftarah, "Look to Avraham your father and to Sarah who bore you," and explained that the consolation for Klal Yisroel in the long, bitter exile, so that we may hold ourselves together, is the strength of Avraham Avinu and Sarah Imeinu, who made converts, "those who ate at their table," which placed within them a power of holiness. One does not know where the converts came from, but where they went, they left an impression for later, in the land of the nations, and it accompanies us until today.

Yedid Nefesh: HaRav HaChassid R' Moshe Wertzberger. Kel Mistateir: HaRav HaChassid R' Chaim HaLevi Heller. Before bentching, they continued with niggunim in honor of the simcha. The Rebbe bentched over the cup and recited the Sheva Brachos.

Maariv, Motzei Shabbos, the Rebbe shlit"a approached the amud in honor of the hilula kadisha this week. After Havdalah, the Rebbe shlit"a wished the entire kehilla a good week. It ended at around 10:45.

Friday, Erev Shabbos Parshas Eikev, 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

In the morning, before Shacharis, a bris took place for the newborn son of R' Yaakov Ehrenthal, at which the Rebbe served as sandek and mohel.

The Rebbe davened Shacharis in the Talmud Torah building Hirsch-GB-Landau on Rutzfert Street.
Upon arrival, the Rebbe looked over the ongoing construction work at the neighboring 'Binyan Klein'.
Afterward, the Rebbe entered the first and second grade students of the branch of Rabbi Dovid Falkowitz shlit"a, where the children were singing Shabbos melodies. The Rebbe looked on for a few minutes and blessed the children.

The Rebbe davened Shacharis with the students of grades 6, 7 and 8 of the branch of Rabbi Naftali Hirtzka Friedman shlit"a. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochur, the bochur Chaim Ausch.

After davening, the Rebbe went down to the students of grades 3, 4 and 5 of the branch of Rabbi Yechiel Yitzchak Spitzer shlit"a, where a lechayim gathering took place.
The principal shlit"a spoke and presented to the Rebbe the subjects the children are preparing for the end-of-year exams. Several melodies were sung, after which the Rebbe drank a lechayim, shared brief words of Torah, and blessed all the children and the bar mitzvah bochur.

Then the Rebbe went up to the students of grades 6, 7 and 8 for the lechayim gathering. Warm melodies were sung, and a huge total of 1,340 consecutive hours was presented, with which the children had prepared for the visit of the Rebbe shlit"a. Afterward, rhymes were sung, and the Rebbe shared words of holy inspiration with the children and concluded with a holy blessing.

During the morning hours, a lechayim gathering took place in his holy home on the occasion of the publication of the sefer 'Lev Aharon' on Devarim, which completes the entire sefer Lev Aharon, derushim and aggadah on the five Chumashim, first edition.
The Rebbe drank a lechayim and warmly blessed those engaged in the holy work, especially the chairman of the committee for publishing the Rebbe's sefarim, HaRav R' Wolf Glick, and the benefactor and patron of the Lev Aharon sefarim on the Chumash, HaRav R' Yaakov Sussman Sofer.

Thursday, Parshas Eikev, 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

In the morning, before Shacharis, a bris took place for the newborn son of R' Meir Mendel Fischer, at which the Rebbe served as sandek and mohel.

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in the main beis medrash. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim:
the bochur Moshe Yuda Mendlowitz.
the bochur Meir Mordechai Budick.
the bochur Chaim Yitzchak Neustein.
During the Torah reading, the Rebbe went for Hagbah. After davening, a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochurim in his private room.

In the evening, the Rebbe shlit"a officiated at the kiddushin at the chuppah of the following mechutanim:

Entry times to the Rebbe were from 8:00 until 12:45 at night.

During the entry times, the completion of the writing of the letters took place for the Sefer Torah being written by HaRav R' Yitzchak Zev Filaf, which will be brought in this coming Sunday, Parshas Shoftim, to Kiryas Vayoel Moshe in Monticello. The Rebbe wrote in letters and bestowed his holy blessings.

Around 8:30 the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy home on Ohel Court.
