Shabbos Kodesh Parshas Vayeilech Shabbos Shuvah 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a.

On Friday night at around 7:05, the Rebbe shlit"a entered the beis medrash wrapped in his tallis and approached the amud for Mincha. Kabbolas Shabbos: R' Amram Acker. At Lecha Dodi, the new melodies were sung.

Davening concluded at around 8:30. The crowd went over to wish a gut Shabbos, and the Rebbe shlit"a returned to his holy home.

The Rebbe shlit"a ate the Shabbos seudah privately in his holy home.
At around 10:30 the door was opened and the zemiros were sung.

The Rebbe shlit"a said Torah on the verse "Shuvah Yisroel ad Hashem Elokecha," and explained, in the manner of a drush, the sugya of hekdesh mafkia mi'yedei shiabud.

Kah Echsof was sung. For Birkas Hamazon, the Rebbe honored R' Shalom Boruch Rothbard (Manchester).

Stories and Anecdotes: This week the Rebbe shlit"a related stories about his ancestor, the holy R' Elazar Nissan zy"a, whose yahrzeit falls on Monday, 8 Tishrei.
Kah Ribon Olam was sung and fruit was brought in, and the Rebbe rose to dance at "Ba'yom hashevi'i." The tish concluded at around 11:35.

On Shabbos Kodesh morning, the Rebbe shlit"a entered at 9:40. Pesukei D'zimra: R' Hershel son of R' Berish Fried. Shacharis: R' Yehoshua Mendlowitz, who davened on the Shabbos.

Hotzaah and Hachnasah (taking out and returning the Torah): R' Yerachmiel Bitman. The verses of Shema Yisroel: HaGaon Rabbi Meir Mayer (Boro Park).

The Rebbe shlit"a entered the beis medrash for Mincha and Shalosh Seudos at around 8:10. Mincha: R' Naftali Moshe Weiss. Hotzaah and Hachnasah: R' Avrohom Masri. Kohen: Rabbi Yisroel Meir Friedman shlit"a. Levi: Rabbi Yehoshua Zalman Wertzberger shlit"a. Shlishi: HaGaon Rabbi Nosson Dov Schwartz shlit"a, moreh horaah in our kehilla. Hagbah: the Rebbe shlit"a. Gelilah: R' Shlomo Zalman Gelb.

The Rebbe shlit"a honored individuals with the zemiros at Shalosh Seudos. Odeh: R' Noach Gafen. Shir HaMaalos: R' Moshe Goldstein.

In the Torah he said, the Rebbe shlit"a based himself on the verse "Shuvah Yisroel ad Hashem Elokecha" and explained that when one wants to arrive at proper teshuvah, if he contemplates the great damage of a single sin, he becomes weakened and may come, chas v'shalom, to despair. But when one does teshuvah with emunah, then with the power of emunah in the Creator one can come to teshuvah and to all the tikkunim.

For Maariv on Motzei Shabbos, the Rebbe shlit"a approached the amud in honor of the yahrzeit of his ancestor, the holy Rabbi Elazar Nissan zy"a. After Havdalah, the crowd went over to wish a gutte voch. The tish concluded at around 9:25.

On Motzei Shabbos there were yechidus hours until 12:10. During the yechidus hours, the writing of the letters in the Sefer Torah of the distinguished philanthropist R' Meir Yaakov Indig took place. The Rebbe wrote in the letters and bestowed his holy blessing upon R' Meir Yaakov and his family, may they live.
