Wednesday, Parshas Vayeitzei — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in the Heichal HaMesivta, Yoel Moshe branch. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim.

After davening, the Rebbe learned the daily Tehillim shiur, on chapter 14, verse 1. Afterwards, a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochurim in the Rebbe's private room.

In the afternoon hours, the Rebbe shlit"a paid a shiva call to the family of R' Chaim Leib Weiss a"h.

In the afternoon, the Rebbe shlit"a went up to the Heichal HaYeshiva, Divrei Yoel branch, where the Rebbe learned with a chavrusa from among the talmidim of the yeshiva in his private room, and at around 5:00 the Rebbe davened Mincha in the yeshiva.

In the evening, the Rebbe shlit"a officiated at kiddushin at the chuppah of the following mechutanim.

HaRav R' Yechiel Michel Treger shlit"a - R' Shalom Yitzchak Weinberger, at Beis Rochel Paradise hall.

The times for entering to the Rebbe were from around 8:15 until 12:40 at night.

The Rebbe shlit"a read the tenaim at the tenaim held in his hallowed home for the following mechutanim.

R' Yitzchak Eizik Lebovitz - R' Chaim Hillel Lichtenstein.

During the times of entry, the siyum of the writing of the letters took place for the Sefer Torah written by members of the Monsey community in honor of HaGaon HaTzaddik, Av Beis Din of Monsey shlit"a, l'ilui nishmas his father R' Moshe Yuda zt"l and l'ilui nishmas his grandfather, the posek hador, Maran the Shevet HaLevi zt"l. It will be brought in this coming Sunday, Parshas Vayishlach, at the Beis Medrash HaGadol in Monsey, with the participation of the Rebbe shlit"a. A warm conversation took place on the subject of sofrus; the Rebbe wrote in letters, drank a lechayim, and warmly wished the Rav shlit"a and the leaders and askanim of our holy kehilla well.

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Maariv at around 11:50, and afterwards continued receiving the public.
