Monday, Rosh Chodesh Shevat 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

At around 8:30 the Rebbe shlit"a entered for Shacharis in the Beis Chabad beis medrash. Baal tefillah: R' Moshe Falkowitz. The Rebbe shlit"a approached Hallel with great hisorerus.

In the afternoon at 3:30 the Rebbe shlit"a traveled to the Desert Hot Springs area, where a ceremony was held for the inauguration of the mikvah tahara in the Kerestir beis medrash, which is under the supervision of HaGaon HaTzaddik, the Av Beis Din and Rav of Monsey shlit"a.
First the Rebbe looked around the beis medrash. Afterward the Rebbe went over to the mikvah and examined the hiddurim for an extended time together with the Monsey Rav shlit"a. Then a lechayim gathering was held in the sanctuary of the beis medrash, attended by the Jews who are vacationing in the area. The Rebbe drank lechayim and warmly blessed the Av Beis Din of Monsey shlit"a and the entire assembly. Speaking at the gathering were R' Nochum Friedman (Kiryas Joel) and HaGaon HaTzaddik, the Av Beis Din of Monsey shlit"a.
Also participating in the lechayim gathering was the Vizhnitz Yerushalayim Rebbe shlit"a, who is vacationing there, and he greeted the Rebbe warmly. Afterward the Rebbe shlit"a delivered a dvar Torah, emphasizing the importance of building a mikvah tahara and the blessings that descend through increasing taharah among Klal Yisroel, and concluded with his holy blessing.
Several niggunim were sung in honor of the occasion, and the Vizhnitz Yerushalayim Rebbe shlit"a spoke in honor of the event.
The gathering concluded at around 4:30.

After the ceremony the Rebbe shlit"a walked together with the Vizhnitz Yerushalayim Rebbe shlit"a to his lodging for a holy visit. A pleasant conversation developed about traveling to the kevarim of tzaddikim and about the halachos of mezuzah. The Vizhnitz Yerushalayim Rebbe shlit"a honored the Rebbe with a lechayim, and the Rebbe shared of his holy blessings with him. Afterward the Rebbe shlit"a traveled back to Palm Springs.
In the evening at around 5:45 the Rebbe shlit"a entered for Mincha. Baal tefillah: Rabbi Dovid Chanani Weiss shlit"a (Kiryas Joel). Between Mincha and Maariv the Rebbe engaged in Torah study at his place in the beis medrash, and at the time of Rabbeinu Tam Maariv was davened. Baal tefillah: R' Moshe Nochum Paskes.
