Wednesday, Parshas Ki Savo — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

In the morning, before Shacharis, a bris took place for the newborn son of R' Moshe Shmuel Stein, where the Rebbe served as sandek.

The Satmar Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in Heichal HaMesivta, the Veyoel Moshe branch. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim.

After davening, the Rebbe blew the shofar and recited the daily Tehillim shiur, on chapter 18, verse 22. Afterward, a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochurim in his private room.

At 1:50 in the afternoon, the Rebbe shlit"a entered Heichal HaMesivta, the Veyoel Moshe branch, where the Rebbe delivered the third sugya shiur on the sugya of "matana al menas lehachzir," in preparation for the Shabbos Shuva derasha. It concluded at around 2:40.

The yechidus hours in the inner sanctum were from around 6:20 in the evening until 12:15 at night, in his holy home on Ohel Court.

In the evening, the Rebbe shlit"a officiated at the kiddushin at the chuppah of the mechutanim R' Yoel Rosenfeld (Montreal) and R' Yoel Weiss, at Kinor David hall.

The Rebbe shlit"a read the tenaim in the tenaim room in his holy home for the following mechutanim:
R' Yuda Shlomo Friedman (of Williamsburg) and R' Avrohom Weissman.
R' Shlomo Yekusiel Herskowitz and R' Menachem Yeshaya Lowy.

During the yechidus hours, the Kretchnif Yerushalayim Rebbe shlit"a came for a short visit. A pleasant conversation ensued, and the Rebbe bestowed his holy blessings upon him.

The Rebbe davened Mincha at around 8:10, and Maariv at around 12:15.

After Maariv, the Rebbe shlit"a went to the new location of Shlomi's Grocery in the Boruch Taam neighborhood in Kiryas Joel, under the ownership of R' Shlomo Neustadt, a member of the board of Mivtzar HaKollelim. The Rebbe looked around the store and then affixed a mezuzah on the main entrance. A lechayim gathering followed, with a pleasant conversation; the Rebbe drank lechayim and bestowed his holy blessings.
