Thursday, Parshas Noach — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

In the morning, before Shacharis, a bris was held for the newborn son of R' Leib Herskovits, at which the Rebbe served as sandek.

The Satmar Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in the Heichal HaMesivta, the Beirach Moshe branch. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim.

The bochur Menachem Mendel Greenfeld.
The bochur Yoel Bechor Sruga.
During the Torah reading the Rebbe went for hagbah, and after davening he delivered the daily Tehillim shiur on chapter 18, verse 22. The yeshiva students went over to greet the Rebbe on the occasion of the start of the zman, and a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochurim in the Rebbe's private room.

After Shacharis the Rebbe comforted the mourner R' Eliyahu Shaul Katz on the passing of his brother a"h, and the family of R' Uri Schwartz a"h.

In the afternoon at around 6:10 the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy home.

Yechidus hours at the Rebbe's holy home on Uhel Court were from about 8:15 until 12:00 at night.

The Rebbe shlit"a read the tenaim at the tenaim hall in his holy home for the following mechutanim:
R' Yitzchak Elyakim Schwartz - R' Yochanan Mann.
R' Avrohom Goldberger - R' Meir Hecht.

After the tenaim the Rebbe davened Maariv, and then continued receiving the public.

During the yechidus hours, HaGaon Rabbi Yisroel Yaakov Landau shlit"a, Av Beis Din of Kehillas Chareidim Beer Sheva, came for a visit. A pleasant conversation ensued regarding matters of shechita and kashrus. He presented the Rebbe with his sefer, Shu"t Be'er Yisroel, and the Rebbe bestowed his holy blessings upon him.
