Thursday, Parshas Vayeira — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in the heichal of the Mesivta, Beirach Moshe branch. Before davening, the Rebbe laid tefillin for the bar mitzvah bochur, the bochur Moshe Yaakov Aharon Buxbaum.
During the Torah reading, the Rebbe went up for hagbah, and after davening he led the daily Tehillim shiur, during which the Rebbe spoke about the pressing matters regarding the situation in Eretz Yisroel. Afterwards, a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochur in his private room.

In the afternoon, at around 6:10, the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy home on the Ohel Street.

After Mincha, the Rebbe shlit"a went down to the Tanaim Hall in his holy home, where the simcha of a pidyon haben was held in our holy courts, for a newborn son of HaRav Yechezkel Shraga Meisels shlit"a, son of the son-in-law of the HaGaon HaTzaddik, Rav of Beis Medrash Yismach Moshe shlit"a.
After washing, the pidyon took place. The Kohen who officiated was the Rebbe's grandson, HaRav Nachman Kahana shlit"a, son-in-law of the HaGaon HaTzaddik, Rav of Beis Medrash Beirach Moshe shlit"a. During the seudah, joyous melodies were sung, and the following spoke: the father of the baby shlit"a, and the grandfathers, the HaGaon HaTzaddik, Av Beis Din of Brezdovitz shlit"a, and the Papa Rebbe shlit"a.

After the meat course, the Rebbe shlit"a delivered words of Torah about matters of pidyon haben and concluded with a holy blessing. For Birkas Hamazon, the Rebbe honored the Kohen.
The event ended at around 8:15.

Entry times for private audiences were from 8:15 until 12:20 at night, in his holy home on Ohel Street.

The Rebbe shlit"a read the tanaim in the Tanaim Hall in his holy home for the mechutanim R' Zalman Leib Stern and R' Hersh Elimelech Wertzberger.

The Rebbe davened Maariv at around 12:20.
