Report
Wednesday, 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

At around 8:00 the Rebbe shlit"a entered the beis medrash for Shacharis. Baal tefillah: R' Avrohom Chaim Filaff (Williamsburg).

In the evening at around 5:55 the Rebbe shlit"a entered for Mincha. Between Mincha and Maariv the Rebbe was engaged in learning, and at the proper time Maariv was davened. The Rebbe lit 5 candles and went to the amud in honor of the hilula kadisha of his grandfather, the Kedushas Yom Tov zy"a.

After Maariv the Rebbe conducted his holy tish in honor of the hilula kadisha in the hall of the beis medrash. The Rebbe washed for the seudah. Before the fish was served, R' Moshe Falkowitz made a siyum on Maseches Sotah, and the Rebbe recited Kaddish. At the lechayim after the fish, the Rebbe wished, "May his merit protect us and all Israel." Throughout the seudah, stirring melodies were sung.
Before the meat course, the Rebbe shlit"a related holy stories about the baal hilula zy"a for an extended time.
The Rebbe honored HaGaon Rabbi, Av Beis Din of Monsey shlit"a with Mechtam L'Dovid.
The Rebbe shlit"a delivered Torah thoughts on the verse "And these are the laws that you shall place before them," explained in the teachings of the baal hilula zy"a, and brought out the greatness of connecting to earlier tzaddikim through learning their sefarim and even through telling their stories and accounts. He continued on the greatness of the baal hilula and concluded with his holy blessing.
The Rebbe recited the blessing over the cup. The tish ended at around 8:10. On his way out, the Rebbe thanked R' Moshe Falkowitz and his family, who provided the seudah for the entire community.
