The Rebbe came in to Mincha at about 8:45. Upon arriving in the beis medrash, the Rebbe greeted his longtime chavrusa HaGaon Rabbi Yaakov Eliyahu Unsdorfer shlit"a, Av Beis Din of Rosh Chochma Montreal, and HaGaon Rabbi Yosef Mendel Panet shlit"a, the Deesh Miami Rebbe, of Boro Park.

Between Mincha and Maariv the Rebbe was engaged in his learning, and at the time of Rabbeinu Tam, at about 9:35, Maariv was davened.

After Maariv the Rebbe walked home to his holy residence together with HaGaon, Av Beis Din of Rosh Chochma shlit"a, and the Chaver Beis Din, HaGaon, the rav of the Yismach Moshe beis medrash shlit"a. A pleasant conversation developed about the yahrzeit of HaGaon HaKadosh Rabbi Moshe David Ashkenazi zt"l of Tolchava, whose yahrzeit falls tonight, 18 Tammuz, and about his sefer "Toldos Adam," which the Rebbe shlit"a reprinted and which received a fine approbation from the holy Rebbe, the Divrei Yoel zy"a.
