Wednesday, Parshas Pinchas — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a, in the resort town of Bethlehem, New Hampshire

The Rebbe entered the beis medrash for Shacharis at around 8:40. Before davening, the Rebbe lit 5 candles in honor of the yahrzeit of his ancestor, the holy HaGaon Rabbi Moshe Dovid Ashkenazi zt"l of Tolchava.

After davening, a lechayim gathering was held in the main hall of the beis medrash in honor of the yahrzeit. The Rebbe drank lechayim and related holy stories about the one whose yahrzeit it was for an extended time.
Afterward, the Rebbe walked home to his holy residence, and on the way a conversation developed about various names of coins throughout the generations.

The Rebbe entered for Mincha at around 8:50. Baal tefillah: the Chaver Beis Din, HaGaon Rabbi, Rav of the Yeshmach Moshe beis medrash shlit"a. Between Mincha and Maariv the Rebbe was engaged in his learning. Maariv was davened at the time of Rabbeinu Tam. After Maariv, the Rebbe walked home to his holy residence, and on the way a conversation developed about the text and the source of the "Leshem Yichud" said before putting on tefillin.
