Thursday, Parshas Shoftim — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

In the morning, before Shacharis, the following brissim took place:
The son born to R' Yoel Mordechai Scher, where the Rebbe served as sandek and mohel.
The son born to R' Yechezkel Shraga Herskowitz, where the Rebbe served as sandek.

The Rebbe davened Shacharis in the Heichal of the Mesivta, Beirach Moshe branch. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim:
The bochur Mordechai Kohn.
The bochur Shlomo Yitzchak Yaakov Welz.
During the Torah reading, the Rebbe went up for hagbah. After davening, the shofar was blown, and the Rebbe reviewed the daily Tehillim shiur on chapter 23, verse 1. Afterwards a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochurim in his private room.

A group of bochurim from the yeshiva also entered the Rebbe's kodesh, together with the yeshiva's rebbeim, to receive a holy blessing in honor of their trip to the holy places in Europe. The Rebbe inquired about the details of the trip and distributed shlichei mitzvah money to the bochurim.

Yechidus hours were from 6:45 until 11:45 at night, in the Rebbe's holy home on Ohel Court.
Around 7:15 the Rebbe went over to the kabbolas panim of the chosson, son of HaRav R' Yoel Weider, one of the Rebbe's close attendants, whose bride is the daughter of HaRav R' Shabsi Yitzchak Rosenberg, in the halls of Kinor David. The Rebbe drank a lechayim and offered blessings to the chosson, the mechutanim, and the grandfathers. Before the chuppah the Rebbe blessed the chosson, and then went down to Beis Medrash Beis Mordechai, where the Rebbe davened Mincha.
After Mincha the Rebbe went out to the chuppah, where the Rebbe served as mesader kiddushin, and then the Rebbe returned to his holy home and continued the yechidus hours.

During the yechidus hours, the young man Avrohom Shlomo, son of Yoel Weinstock, whose mohel is HaRav R' Avrohom Yehoshua Heshel HaKohen Glantz, was brought for an examination with the Rebbe shlit"a on Shulchan Aruch, Hilchos Shabbos.

The Rebbe shlit"a read the tenaim of the mechutanim, HaRav R' Daniel Reuven Dana a"h and HaRav R' Tzion Jabra.

After the yechidus hours, around 11:50, the Rebbe returned to the wedding celebration of the chosson, son of HaRav R' Yoel Weider. The Rebbe drank a lechayim and offered blessings to the chosson, the mechutanim, and the grandfathers. After bentching, the badchan, the avreich R' Yechezkel Shraga Filaf, called up the Rebbe shlit"a to the mitzvah tantz with rhymed verses, and the Rebbe danced the holy dances before the kallah, and then danced with the chosson, the mechutanim, and the grandfathers, and especially with HaRav R' Yoel.

Afterwards, around 12:30, the Rebbe went down to Beis Medrash Beis Mordechai, where the Rebbe davened Maariv.
