Friday, Erev Shabbos Parshas Shoftim — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

This morning, before Shacharis, the Rebbe went over to the halls where the brissin took place:
Twins born to R' Yoel the son of Wolf Schnitzer, where the Rebbe served as sandek.
A son born to R' Yoel the son of Moshe Mendel Wertheimer, where the Rebbe served as sandek.

The Rebbe davened Shacharis in the hall of Yeshiva Ketana, Divrei Chaim branch, headed by HaGaon Rabbi Shlomo Elimelech Stein shlit"a, in the Talmud Torah building, 'Goldstein Building'. Before davening, the Rebbe put on tefillin with the bar mitzvah bochurim:
The bochur Lipa Ackerman.
The bochur Moshe Herskowitz.
The bochur Yekusiel Yechezkel Shraga Frankel.

After davening, the Rebbe blew shofar and recited the ten chapters of Tehillim, as is customary during the month of Elul.

After Shacharis, a lechayim gathering took place in the beis medrash hall. The Rebbe drank lechayim and gave blessings to the rebbeim of the yeshiva, to the bar mitzvah bochurim, and to all the talmidim of the yeshiva, and delivered a brief holy address of guidance to the bochurim in preparation for the days of mercy and favor, concluding with his holy blessing.

Afterwards, the Rebbe walked over to the adjacent Talmud Torah building, the 'Wieder Palatchek Building', where the 'Berinah Yiktzoru' event was held by the fifth-grade talmidim of all the branches of Mosdos Kiryas Yoel. Several songs and rhymes were sung in honor of the occasion, after which the head administrator, Rabbi Baruch Shlomo Weinberger shlit"a, tested the children on their studies while the Rebbe watched with great nachas.
The Rebbe drank lechayim and gave blessings to the administration of the mosdos and to all the children, and delivered a brief holy address of guidance to the children in preparation for the days of mercy and favor, concluding with his holy blessing.
Then the Rebbe distributed shirayim to the grandchildren. The event concluded at around 12:30.
