Wednesday, Parshas Vayeitzei — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

This morning, before Shacharis, a bris took place for a newborn son of R' Yoel Berish Friedlander, where the Rebbe served as sandek.

The Rebbe davened Shacharis in the Heichal HaMesivta, Yoel Moshe branch. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim:
- The bochur Menachem Moshe Gold.
- The bochur Avrohom Shimon.
- The bochur Yoel Weinstock.
- The bochur Yoel Powell.

After davening, the Rebbe recited the daily Tehillim shiur, on chapter 24, verse 7. Afterward, a lechayim took place with the bar mitzvah bochurim in his private room.

During the morning hours, the Rebbe went on his weekly visit to the mehudar slaughterhouse.

In the afternoon, a bris took place for a newborn son of R' Fishel Katz at his home, where the Rebbe served as sandek and mohel. After the bris, the Rebbe drank a lechayim and offered blessings to the father of the baby and his family.

Afterward, the Rebbe went up to the Heichal HaYeshiva, Yoel Moshe branch, where the Rebbe learned with a chavrusa from among the talmidim of the yeshiva in his private room. At around 5:10, the Rebbe davened Mincha in the yeshiva.

In the evening, the Rebbe officiated at the kiddushin at the chuppah of the following mechutanim.
- HaRav HaChasid R' Shlomo Klein - HaRav HaChasid R' Yoel Dovid Dresdner, in the Kinor Dovid hall.
- HaRav HaChasid R' Yoel Schwartz - HaRav HaChasid R' Shimon Aharon Katz, in the Ginas Klein hall.

The Rebbe's reception hours were from 8:00 until 9:30 in the evening, at his holy home on Ohel Court.

During the reception hours, Rabbi Yitzchak Heller shlit"a of Lakewood entered the Rebbe's room, accompanied by members of the mikvah committee of the Beis Din of our holy kehilla, where a new type of filter for mikvaos was presented to the Rebbe. The Rebbe examined the machine for an extended time and considered all the parts and fine details of the machine, and discussed all aspects in halacha, in hashkafa, and in practice.

Also entering the Rebbe's room was HaGaon Rabbi Aryeh Leibush Teitelbaum shlit"a, son of the Gaon Av Beis Din of Beis Aharon shlit"a and father of the chosson of HaRav HaTzaddik Rabbi Aharon Mendel Twersky shlit"a, son of the Skverer Rebbe shlit"a, to extend an invitation and receive a blessing in honor of the wedding of his son, the chosson, which will take place next week on Tuesday, Parshas Vayishlach, in Shikun Skver, and the Rebbe bestowed upon him from his holy blessing.

The Rebbe davened Maariv at around 9:30.

After Maariv, the Rebbe went over to Beis Medrash Avnei Tzedek for the vort of his granddaughter, the kallah, daughter of the Gaon Rav of Beis Medrash Avnei Tzedek shlit"a, to the chosson Rabbi Mordechai Zev Rubin shlit"a, son of HaGaon Rabbi Yehoshua Shalom Nosson Rubin shlit"a, Av Beis Din of Glogow. Upon arrival, the Rebbe greeted the rabbonim, and the mechutanim shlit"a stood before him. The Rebbe arranged the tenaim, and then the tenaim were read, and then he drank a lechayim and offered blessings to the chosson, the mechutanim, and the entire gathering, and delivered words of Torah on the topic of marriage, and continued with several stories about marriage from the great zeides zy"a from whom the chosson and kallah descend, and concluded with abundant blessings.
Afterward, the chosson said the pshetl, and the traditional songs were sung; joyous melodies were sung, and the entire gathering went over to wish mazel tov to the Rebbe shlit"a. It concluded at around 11:15, and on his way out, the Rebbe offered blessings to the kallah.
