Thursday, Parshas Vayeira — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

This morning before Shacharis, a bris took place for the newborn son of R' Shlomo Itzkowitz, in the home of his grandfather, HaRav R' Avrohom Leib Brach, l'refuah shleimah, where the Rebbe served as sandek.

The Rebbe davened Shacharis in Heichal HaMesivta, Branch Birech Moshe. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim:
- The bochur Yoel Freund.
- The bochur Yoel Friedman.

During the Torah reading, the Rebbe went up for hagbah. After davening, the Rebbe delivered a shiur on a sugya in the yeshiva's shiurim. Afterward, a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochurim in his private room.

In the late morning hours, the Rebbe visited the matzah bakery of our holy kehilla.

At around 5:15, the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy home.

In the evening, the Rebbe officiated at kiddushin at the chuppah of the following mechutanim:
- HaRav R' Avrohom Yoshe Gefen - HaRav R' Shmuel Shimon Berkowitz, in the halls of Kinor David.
- HaRav R' Chaim Avrohom Rosenfeld - HaRav R' Shlomo Yaakov Neustadt, in the halls of Beis Rachel Paradise.

The hours for entering to see the Rebbe were from 8:00 until 11:30 at night, in his holy home on Ohel Court.

During the hours of entry, the Spinka Beis Yitzchak Rebbe shlit"a came for a visit to receive the Rebbe's blessing on the occasion of the wedding of his grandson, mazel tov. A pleasant conversation ensued, and the Rebbe honored him with a lechayim and bestowed upon him his holy blessing.

The Rebbe davened Maariv at around 11:30.
